Chapter 184: Training Megumi {184}
The next day when Keitaro came to where the kids lived, he took Megumi and went toward the backyard.
He made sure to set up a bunch of seals in advance in order to make the training more efficient, he also set up about 12 different barriers in order to make sure all damage remained to the bare minimum.
He was using a bunch of empty barriers and stacking them up against each other in order to gain that effect.
There were also some barriers with talismans on them and binding vows to restrict risk and so on.
Long story short, it was nearly impossible for anyone to get hurt and for anyone with or without six eyes to see through those barriers.
It was quite easy, for the first layer, all he did was make everyone able to see through it, the only exception being that if they had something to boost their eyes, curse tools, or six eyes, they wouldn't be able to see anything.
The second barrier, the only kind of people who could see through it would be people with special eyes... i.e. eyes users.
Basically what stacking both of those barriers together did was make it so that no one could see through them.
If Gojo tried to look, he wouldn't even get past the first barrier, and if anyone else tried they wouldn't be able to get past the second barrier.
And if they try being sneaky by just putting on a curse tool and then removing it, shame on them, anyone who enters the barriers will quickly be sensed by Keitaro Soo.
It sounds like he was cheesing the system but, Binding Vow is a system that was made to be abused.
He would teach Megumi that in the future, for now, he just needed to teach him the basics.
"Alright, Megumi," Keitaro said, he was standing infront of the boy with his arm crossed.
The first rule we're going to follow today is that you're not going to use your cursed technique. I want you to focus solely on curse energy reinforcement."
He was going to start from the basics and work his way up from there, it worked fine with Edgar so it should work for Megumi.
Megumi just looked like he was paying attention.
"Start by channeling your curse energy into your first," Keitaro instructed, he made sure Megumi was watching as he made his curse energy visible just so that Megumi could follow its movement.
"Once you get that down, we'll move on to more complex applications. But for now, show me how well you can reinforce your body."
"Your curse technique means, most people when fighting you will think that if they get close it's over for you as your curse technique makes you work like a summoner," Keitaro explained.
"Having good curse energy reinforcement means you will be able to tank a blow or two, and you can also surprise them with your hand-to-hand combat, Remember to use the assumption they may have against you to your advantage, lure them into a false sense of security and when the moment is right, strike them while they least expect it"
He looked pretty serious as he explained those things.
Megumi nodded his head before he started to flow his curse energy into his arm.
{GOOD}
The seal on the boy's arms said.
{To much}
The seal added as Megumi poured too much curse energy into his arm.
After like 5 minutes, Megumi had a constant flow of curse energy throughout his body.
The boy was learning....fast.
He didnt need Keitaro to tell him to do it throughout his body and just immediately got it upon seeing the seals all over his body.
Was the boy a genius?
Keitaro spent the next hour or so teaching Megumi about the basics of curse energy, and how the boy should let his curse energy flow in his body.
All in all, he spent a good time teaching the boy the basics about curse energy.
Megumi was a quick learner and was able to pick up on stuff incredibly quickly.
He was improving quickly, probably due to the countless seals he had placed around just in case.
The seals and barriers all around the background were they to amp up anyone practicing inside of them.
With Megumi now practicing inside one of those seals, his progress was increased by a decent margin.
In video game terms, anyone training within those seals and barriers would gain around 2X boost in experience.
It could have been more if Keitaro's control over the barrier was better if he could trap more curse energy within the barrier.
The exp boost could have gone as high as 5X time but Keitaro didnt have that much experience yet.
Sure he was good at barrier technique, but as things stood he was probably the third best, There were 2 individuals above him and those 2 individuals were both older than 1000 years old.
While Keitaro was 19.....about to be 20 soon, however, he had plenty of time to improve.
He probably would have surpassed them by the time he turned 27 but that was only something that time could tell.
A/N.....Alright, let's give some barrier info.
Curtains (also known as Veils): These dome-shaped barriers can be customized with conditions or commissioned onto others using talismans. They can be stacked or layered to create a stronger or more complex barrier.
Empty Barriers: Tengen, for example, created multiple Empty Barriers above the Tombs of the Star Corridor and could open or erase them as needed.
Bon Barriers: As the strongest type of barrier technique in Jujutsu Kaisen, Bon Barriers can be used to amplify or enhance the effects of other barriers.
Empty Barriers (空くう性せい結けっ界かい Kūsei Kekkai) are, as the name implies, barriers that are almost entirely vacant inside their boundary. The edges of these barriers are made of hexagon-shaped panels and they can be freely altered by a skilled barrier technique user. i.e. converted one into a movie theater to show his plan. created numerous empty barriers above the Tombs of the Star Corridor and could freely peel open a barrier or erase it completely if necessary.
Pure Barriers (浄じょう界かい Jōkai) are superior to regular barriers. Tengen maintains numerous pure barriers across Japan that improve the barrier techniques of managers and suppress cursed spirits.
Bon Barriers (梵ぼん界かい Bonkai) are even stronger than pure barriers. The is built on bon barriers that use Tengen's pure barriers as their base. Tengen could've released these barriers to prevent the Culling Game but that would've meant relinquishing a thousand years of progress in the struggle against curses.
Keitaro used, Empty barriers along side some pure barriers to create the training area, he also used a curtain, he stacked them up on top of each other, making this super barrier to train.
