Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The New World
Awakening in Eldoria :
When Rafa opened his eyes, he was lying in an open field surrounded by tall trees and a gentle breeze. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating dancing patterns on the ground. He blinked several times, trying to understand where he was. The air smelled of fresh grass and wildflowers, something completely different from the smell of concrete and pollution he was used to on Earth.
As he stood up, he realized that his body looked different. His arms were thinner, his hands had light green painted nails, and his hair was now long and green, exactly like Gremmy's. "Is this real? Am I dreaming?" he thought in disbelief. He touched his face, feeling the smooth texture of his new skin. It was as if he had been reborn in another world... literally.
Accidentally, he imagined a mirror in front of him... and, to his surprise, the mirror appeared! He saw his reflection clearly: it was identical to Gremmy, with expressive eyes and delicate features. "So it's true... I have the Visionary ability." However, using the ability left him slightly exhausted. He realized that while he could create anything his mind could conceive, there was a physical and mental cost involved. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. "I need to learn to control this before I do something stupid." Initial Exploration: Curious and frightened, Rafa began to explore the place. He walked through the field, observing the tall trees and colorful flowers around him. Before long, he came across strange creatures: small elemental spirits floating among the trees, emitting soft lights. They seemed harmless, but Rafa kept his distance, still unsure of how this world worked. In the distance, he spotted a snow-capped mountain with lightning constantly striking its peak. "This place is surreal," he thought in wonder. He also noticed footprints on the ground, indicating that other creatures or people had passed by recently. Hungry and thirsty, Rafa decided to test his Visionary ability again. He imagined a glass of water and an apple. To his surprise, both appeared instantly. He hesitated for a moment before drinking the water and eating the fruit, fearing that they might be poisonous or illusory. But to his delight, they were real and delicious.
Although excited about his new ability, Rafa knew he needed to use it with caution. He had no idea what its true limits were, and the exhaustion he felt while creating the mirror was a reminder that it came with a price.
First Thoughts:
As he walked, Rafa reflected on his situation. He was in a completely unfamiliar world, with no one to guide him. He didn't know if there were other people like him, or if this world was inhabited only by magical creatures. He also didn't know if he could return to Earth if he wanted to.
"If I'm going to stay here, I need to adapt quickly," he thought. He decided to keep his Visionary ability a secret, knowing that revealing it could attract unwanted attention. He also realized that he needed to find food, shelter, and information about the world. Determined, he continued his journey, following the footprints he had found on the ground. He knew that, as frightening as it was, this new world offered endless possibilities. And for the first time in years, he felt a glimmer of hope.
