The Ultimate Soldier

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: The Wedding

**Chapter 9: The Wedding

The months flew by in a blur of wedding plans, preparations, and anticipation. Simon and Gigi's engagement had been the talk of the town, and though they kept their personal lives mostly private, their love was undeniable. The whole world seemed to be waiting with bated breath to see the union of one of the most famous supermodels and one of the most decorated soldiers in the world.

For Simon, this wedding was more than just a ceremony. It was a promise—one that he had made not only to Gigi, but to himself. He had spent his life fighting battles, saving lives, and sacrificing his own happiness for the greater good. Now, finally, he could live for something else: her.

The Setting

The wedding took place on the Jenner estate, the sprawling grounds transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful venue. The sun was setting, casting a warm, golden glow across the lush landscape. Thousands of white roses adorned every corner of the garden, along with hanging lights that sparkled like stars in the evening sky. The air was filled with soft, melodic music, played by a live string quartet.

The guests, many of whom were famous celebrities, models, and high-profile individuals, were seated in elegant white chairs, all looking expectantly toward the altar. It was a day that would go down in history—not just for its grandeur, but for the love that radiated from every corner.

Gigi's Entrance

The moment arrived. Simon stood at the altar, dressed in a perfectly tailored tuxedo. His eyes, usually so composed and calm, now shone with excitement and anticipation. He had waited for this moment his whole life, and now it was finally happening.

Gigi appeared at the entrance, escorted by her father. Her long platinum blonde hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, and her makeup was flawlessly done. She wore a custom-made gown that hugged her figure perfectly, the dress a soft shade of ivory with intricate lace detailing and a long train that followed her every step.

Her beauty took Simon's breath away. For a moment, the world around him seemed to disappear. It was just her—his love, the woman who had completed him in ways he never thought possible.

The Ceremony

As Gigi walked down the aisle, Simon's heart raced. His hands trembled, and the world felt surreal. The sight of her walking toward him, glowing with beauty and happiness, made all the pain and struggles of the past seem so small in comparison.

When she reached the altar, Simon took her hand gently, his thumb brushing over her skin. They stood there for a moment, simply gazing into each other's eyes, as if time had stopped for just a few seconds.

The officiant began the ceremony, but Simon's attention never left Gigi. He was completely lost in her—her presence, her smile, the way she made him feel like he was the luckiest man alive.

Vows

It was time to exchange vows.

Gigi spoke first. "Simon, I've always believed that everything happens for a reason. You came into my life at a time when I needed someone like you the most. You've shown me what true love is, and you've made me feel safe, cherished, and admired every day. I'm so grateful to have you by my side. I promise to love you, to stand by you, and to always support you, no matter what comes our way."

Simon's heart swelled as he listened to her words. His vow was simple, but it came from the deepest part of his soul. "Gigi, when I met you, I was lost. But you brought me peace, and with you, I have found my purpose. You've made me better, stronger, and more alive than I ever thought possible. I promise to protect you, love you, and never let you go. No matter where life takes us, I will always choose you, every single day."

The Exchange of Rings

The rings were exchanged, a symbol of their unbreakable bond. Simon slid the ring onto Gigi's finger, and she did the same for him. As they did, their gazes never wavered from each other, a silent promise passing between them.

The Kiss

And then, the moment that everyone had been waiting for—the kiss.

Simon cupped Gigi's face in his hands, his fingers brushing against her soft skin. Her eyes closed, and for a second, everything else faded away. There was no war, no battles, no world to save. Just the two of them.

As their lips met, the crowd erupted in applause, but Simon and Gigi were lost in each other. It was the beginning of their forever—a life filled with love, understanding, and partnership.

Reception

The reception was held in the grand ballroom, which had been transformed into a lavish, yet intimate space. Guests mingled, enjoying the luxurious atmosphere, while Simon and Gigi shared their first dance as husband and wife. The music swirled around them, and for a moment, it felt like the world was celebrating just for them.

After the dance, Simon stood at the edge of the room, looking out over the guests. He was surrounded by luxury, fame, and everything that most people would dream of, but none of it mattered without Gigi. She was everything to him.

As the night went on, laughter filled the air. Gigi beamed as she caught Simon watching her from across the room. He returned her gaze with a smile that spoke volumes—of love, of promise, and of a future they would face together.

The First Day of Forever

The evening ended with a final toast, and as Simon and Gigi left the venue, hand in hand, they stepped into a life full of possibilities. The world outside might be uncertain, but in that moment, they knew they were ready for anything. Together, they could face whatever came their way.

Simon had fought wars and faced battles, but now he had something far more precious to fight for—his family, his love, and the life they would build together.
