The Ultimate Saiyan

#GOHAN POV#

"These things just won't stay down," I growl out while punching one of the creatures in the face

I spin-kick one that tried to attack me from behind and I growl again as the creature reforms back a few meters away

"Gohan," I hear my father call out and I glance at him and see him punching and kicking some of the creatures

My eyes widen as I see the creatures that he hits fade away into nothingness

"How...?" I stop as I see the Kibito following behind my father and it is then that I notice a very faint white aura covering my dad

("Gohan, The Grand Supreme Kai is conducting the ritual at this very moment, we must stay together so that we may defend him, now move quickly,") I hear Kibito say in my mind and as I nod, I start feeling a bit more relaxed

Then I notice Shin and Trunks on the side and I am confused as they weren't there a moment before

My eyes widened

Were they invisible?

"GOHAN, FIGHT," I hear my dad call out as I start punching the creatures as a white aura similar to the one my dad has around him, surrounds me

("Don't use energy attacks unless you have to, I can only give provide you with so much magic before your living body is overwhelmed. Use physical attacks as they do not require as much magical energy, use energy attacks only if there is no other choice,") Kibito tells me as he flies over to where Shin is and I barely catch a glimpse of a type of a circle forming around Shin

So that's real magic huh...

I slam my elbow into another of the creatures while letting out a sound of disgust at the feeling of my skin connecting with them

So slimey...

#SHIN POV#

(Seal off magic from the mortal realm they said, they will be much better off without magic) I think to myself as I draw from my immense reserves of magical energy to start the ritual

I frown as the cost of the ritual begins to rise with every second

I calculate that it will take around 1/3 of my total reserves

Granted, I am not just casting a spell to find Babidi and his allies but also to open up a few pathways for magic to start flowing

I know that what I am doing will go against everything that the Grand Supreme Kai before me went through to seal it away from the mortal realm

But I may not have another choice in the matter

While magic itself may be disappearing, monsters from ancient times still exist today

Monsters that still possess a tremendous amount of magic, despite it being sealed off

It was always suspected that they found their own way to connect to the source of magic, but it was never proven

They have been in hiding ever since one of their own was practically stripped of his power and imprisoned

They are not warriors but researchers

Researchers obsessed with obtaining power above all else

Yet...they never dared to show themselves as they knew the moment that I catch even a whiff of their existence, I would immediately inform Beerus and his attendant, and they would be hunted down like animals, and if necessary, even some of the other universes will be informed and the search would intensify

I shake my head lightly as I focus some more of my power on the ritual

I will worry about them later

If this action generates even a rumor about them, it will be worth it in the end.

#THIRD POV#

"THE DAMN FOOL," Babidi screams as he senses the very small amount of magical energy being released through one of the pathways

Barely even a mist but enough of it is enough to tell Babidi what that Kai is planning

"No...no...that idiot...he is going to ruin everything," Babidi grasps at his cheeks before looking at Majin Buu's egg

"Even if I awaken you...you will be nothing but a pest to those monsters," Babidi says furious yet, terrified at the prospect

"Damn that..." He stops as he feels a stronger surge of magic around the planet for a moment

"A pathway..." Babidi whispers as he raises his hands into the air and takes a very deep breath

A blue mist seems to coalesce around him

It moves into his nostrils as he inhales it

Exhaling it, Babidi stands up straighter as some of the wrinkles on his face disappear

"I forgot how this feels," He whispers as cracks come from his body as he visibly becomes slightly younger

His eyes narrow

"Damn that Kai," He growls forgetting the previous joy of feeling such an immense amount of magic after eons of not feeling anything close to it

"He wants to turn this planet into a Nexus for magic...well...I will have to take advantage of it..." He stops before he takes a deep breath

"Damn it," He says as he feels Shin getting a lock on his general location

#VEGITO POV#

"We are halfway there come on," I call out to Piccolo and Krillin as we kill even more of the creatures

I feel a chill on my back and I turn around to see Piccolo standing on top of one of the transports

He smirks as he raises his hands and unleashes a powerful blast of energy that I can tell was made using magic

He clears a path for us to go through

"Great now I can see them coming," I comment as I slice another creature

("What was that?") I ask Piccolo

("A burst of magical energy released from every part of my body generating an omnidirectional force that destroyed most things around me,") He briefly explains before ripping the head of one of the creatures

("Most?") I ask only for Piccolo to gesture downward and I blink as I see the transport still there

My jaw drops in awe at Piccolo's control over his own power

("That's awesome,") I say before making one of my goals to obtain magic a priority now

I turn around and slice one of the creatures in half

A sinking feeling starts forming in my gut

("The magical energy released from this creatures is going somewhere,") Piccolo mentions while I cut another creature down

("No...it seems to have been going somewhere slowly, just enough so that we wouldn't be able to sense where it was before going,") He explains

("Guys,") Krillin cuts in and I turn around to see a humanoid creature wearing white chest armor with a black skintight suit

His head is rather big, he also has yellow-green eyes

It takes me a moment to remember who this guy is

Pui-Pui

Wow...

My eyes widen as he rushes toward me with surprising speed

I cross my arms as he lands a punch on them, my eyes briefly glance at the symbol on his forehead and a feeling of dread starts forming as I look at the Majin Symbol

It is surrounded by a red circle with a blade that seems to be moving around...
