Chapter 42 The Centaur and the Ruins

Chapter 42 The Centaur and the Ruins

Allen hid behind a big rock in the cave and observed for a while, but found no trace of living things
He carefully probed to observe the depths of the cave, and there was also a faint light in the depths of the cave
Just as Allen was watching intently, a strange voice suddenly came from behind: "If I were you, I wouldn't ignore my back so much!"

Allen hurriedly turned around to see what was going on, and at the same time reached out to touch his wand.
"Ding!" An arrow was nailed to the stone behind Alan's arm touching the wand, and the tail of the arrow was still trembling.
Allen opened his hands and slowly raised them above his head. Only then did he use the light in the hole to see what the creature behind him looked like.
It was a human from the waist up, with silver-white hair, but below the waist was a shiny silver-white horse, with a long white tail dragging behind it.
He's aiming his bow and arrow at Allen
"The centaur!" Allen looked at this strange, beautiful and strong creature in surprise, and the word suddenly popped into his mind.

Seeing that Alan was very cooperative, the centaur relaxed a little, "Why did you come here? Turtle man!"

But Alan remembered what Hagrid said before.

"Hagrid! Hagrid! I know Hagrid!" Allen shouted hastily.

The centaur pulled the strings again, and Allen lowered his voice, "Hagrid brought me to the Forbidden Forest. I'm his new assistant!"

The horseman approached Alan carefully, and Alan noticed that the horseman's muscles were very developed, so he didn't dare to move around.

The horsemen found a bundle of rattan, tied Alan up, then took him out of the cave, threw him on a piece of grass outside the cave, and lit a torch.

"What the hell are you? How did you become Hagrid's assistant?" The centaur's voice became less stiff.

"My name is Alan Phoenix. I'm a first-year student at Hogwarts. I was sent to help Hagrid with some things!" Alan said hastily.

"Hogwarts? Hogwarts has started accepting such a strange student like you now?" the centaur's voice became surprised.

He searched Alan for a while, and sure enough, he found Alan's wand and saw the Gryffindor logo on Alan's clothes.

His expression softened, "Why did you come to the depths of the Forbidden Forest, Hagrid has never been here before!"

"It was the horned camel that pulled me over!" Allen gestured to the unconscious horned camel with his chin.

The centaur's eyes swept over Alan's carapace, which was full of traces of being dragged.
"Why are you like this?" He still didn't quite believe Alan's words.

Allen introduced his situation again.

"My name is Firenze!" The centaur put away the bow and arrow, untied the rope for Allen, and returned the wand to him.

Allen said thank you politely.

At this time, a red spark suddenly exploded in the distant sky
"It's Hagrid!" said Firenze, looking at the sparks in the sky.

"Hagrid? How did he emit red sparks?" Allen asked suspiciously, and then he remembered the red light Hagrid emitted from the red umbrella when the horned llama escaped, and suddenly understood something.

He also drew his wand, and shot red sparks into the sky, and red sparks rose up in the distant sky to answer him.

Then one person and one horse fell into silence.

In the end, Alan, who was full of curiosity, spoke first: "What's in that cave? Have you ever gone in?" Alan pointed to the cave and asked carefully.

"That is an ancient relic. It is said that the power of your wizards comes from these relics! We have been taught for generations not to enter that cave." Firenze said softly, looking at the stars in the sky.

Allen was stunned. He suddenly thought of the history of the ancient rune that he saw in "Tracing the Origin of Ancient Rune". Could this be the original ancient rune relic mentioned in the book?

He suddenly became excited, and walked a few steps towards the cave, wanting to go in and have a look.
"If it was me, I wouldn't go in to see it! Our ancestral precepts should still have some reference value!" Firenze was still looking at the bright stars in the sky.

Allen suddenly came to his senses and stopped walking.
At this time, Yaya's barking was faintly heard in the woods in the distance, and Allen hurriedly fired red sparks again.
Fang's barking was getting closer, and Alan heard Hagrid's heavy footsteps.
Finally, Hagrid rushed out from the woods. He was in a state of embarrassment, with a very anxious expression on his face. He rushed to Alan quickly and hugged him.

"You're not hurt!" Hagrid asked anxiously.

Allen felt the benefits of the turtle shell again, being held so tightly by Hagrid, he could still breathe smoothly.

"It's okay, it's okay! Firenze took good care of me!" Alan buzzed in Hagrid's arms.

Only then did Hagrid notice Firenze next to him.
"Good evening! Hagrid! Mars is very bright tonight!" Firenze said to Hagrid with a smile.

Hagrid suddenly sat down on the grass and cried like a big dog, "Thank you! Firenze! I thought something happened to Alan! I don't even know how to explain to Professor McGonagall! "

Seeing Hagrid crying bitterly, Alan also walked up and stroked Hagrid's hair comfortingly.

Hagrid cried for a while before he recovered.
"How did you get away from the horned llama?" Hagrid cried hoarsely.

"It hit that tree and passed out!" Allen said, pointing to the tree the horned camel hit.

Hagrid still hadn't forgotten his job at this time, he walked up to the horned camel and observed it carefully.

"Several of its horns are broken, and two of them seem to have been broken for a while!" Hagrid said the result of his observation.

"Has there been any strange creatures in the Forbidden Forest recently? Creatures that can harm a horned camel are rare." Hagrid asked Firenze.

"The power of darkness has invaded the forest!" Firenze said softly.

Hagrid opened his mouth and wanted to ask a question, but Firenze had already seen what Hagrid was going to say, "I haven't touched it yet! The planets haven't told me the answer yet."

As he said that, Firenze began to prepare to leave: "I should go back, you should go back quickly!"

Allen looked at Firenze's figure and watched him go away.

When he turned his head, he found that the cave just now had disappeared, and hurriedly shouted at Firenze: "Why is that cave gone?"

"It will appear for a while on the last night of every month!" Firenze disappeared into the depths of the Forbidden Forest, and these words came from afar.

"What are you talking about? What cave?" Hagrid asked suspiciously.

"Nothing!" Allen whispered, looking at the place where Firenze disappeared.

"Then let's go back quickly! Too many things happened today." Hagrid looked at Alan and asked.

"Okay!" Allen suddenly felt tired physically.

When I was writing this chapter, I experienced the most serious calamity since the book was opened, so I didn’t write this paragraph in detail, and I will quickly advance the plot next.
