The Transformers at Hogwarts
Chapter 35 "Destination"
Chapter 35 "Destination"
Abandoned girls' bathroom.
The innermost compartment.
A white ball of light circled slowly in the mid-air of the compartment.
Allen was looking at his textbook intently, and soon he sorted out the interpretation of each key of the key-value pair of the cleaning spell that had been translated.
But unfortunately, these translated keys have little connection with the key with empty value obtained today.
"Destination," Allen mused, "Why does this thing appear in the cleaning spell?" Allen was a little puzzled.
"Could it be that the ancient magic text translation given by Professor Quirrell is wrong?" Allen couldn't help but doubt it.
"It doesn't matter, let's try it first! Even if the cleaning spell fails to be cast, there will be no danger!" Allen made up his mind.
He drew out his wand, pointed at a puddle of sewage on the ground, concentrated, thinking about how the sewage would disappear, and at the same time set a destination to be Gryffindor Tower, and then uttered the spell:
"Clean up!"
Then the sewage on the ground exploded, and Allen, who was caught off guard, was splashed all over.
Allen looked at the scene of the tragic explosion, and was about to cry for a while. Adding a wrong parameter to a magic spell used for life caused such a big consequence. It would be terrible if other more powerful spells had wrong parameters. have to!
Allen found himself more in awe of magic!
He had to suspend his experiment and prepare to tidy himself up first.
He cast several cleansing spells on his clothes in a row, and soon the clothes returned to their clean appearance.
He looked at his clean clothes, and a thought he had never had before jumped into his mind:
"Where did all the 'dirty stuff' that was cleaned up go?"
As soon as this idea appeared in his mind, it quickly took root and sprouted.
He found the cleaning spell chapter of his "Standard Spells, Elementary", and read it carefully. There was no explanation about where the "dirty things" went.
As if wizards never cared where the "dirty stuff" went.
"Where the dirty things go! Destination!" Allen thought about these two things silently, "It seems that they can be connected!" He cheered up a little.
"But why did it fail to cast just now?" Allen was thinking about this question.
"Could it be that the destination can't be too far away?" The more Allen thought about it, the greater the possibility.
He quickly decided to try again.
He walked out of the cubicle, pointed to a puddle of water on the ground, concentrated his attention, imagined that the water was cleared to a dry ground not far away, and then recited the spell:
"Clean up!"
The explosion did not happen this time, the water on the ground disappeared smoothly, and then a puddle of water appeared out of thin air on the target ground.
Allen was ecstatic after watching it. He originally thought that the cleaning process of the cleaning spell with the parameter "destination" was visible throughout the process, but he didn't expect it to disappear out of thin air and then appear out of thin air.
"Isn't this the space magic in those fantasy novels?" He thought excitedly.
This is much easier to use than the flashy lighting technique before, this is simply a beggar's version of super time and space teleportation!
Although the scope of application of the cleaning spell is very narrow, this effect is enough.
Immediately afterwards, Allen experimented with his improved cleansing spell many times. After several failures, he summed up the basic parameters of the improved cleansing spell:
1. The destination can only be set within a range of ten meters. If it exceeds this range, the target of the spell will explode, but the explosion power is very weak;
2. The destination can be set to the sky, but not inside the item;
3. The farther the destination is, the weaker the cleaning effect of the spell will be.
Although there are many restrictive effects, Allen has already begun to imagine the next time he confronts Malfoy, uses this trick, catches him off guard, and then yells at him: "You're soaked in shit!"
It's so cool to think about it!Moreover, this discovery may allow him to get a bonus from the Ministry of Magic, and his debt is one step closer to paying off, so I am happy to think about it!
Alan, who had finally made a breakthrough, packed his things contentedly and prepared to go back to Gryffindor Tower to sleep.
But after walking out of the abandoned girls' bathroom, he was surprised to find that it was already past eleven o'clock at night, and it was the first time he was still wandering around the castle so late.
He couldn't help but feel a little regretful. If this point was caught by the wandering Filch, Gryffindor would definitely be deducted a lot of points, and Gryffindor had already been deducted a lot of points because of him a few days ago. Many people here have complained about him.
The most important thing is that Professor McGonagall will also be very disappointed in him, which is something he doesn't want to see even more.
But it’s okay not to go back now. Harry Ron and the others will definitely be very anxious if they see that they don’t go back, and they have nowhere to go. The weather in England in September is still quite cold.
Besides, as long as you don't know Gryffindor Tower, you risk being caught.
Allen gritted his teeth and decided to venture back to the dormitory.
He tightened his robe, bowed his body, and observed the surrounding situation, making sure that he was safe before starting to move quickly.
He didn't dare to walk in the middle of the road, he only dared to hold the corner of the wall and walk towards the direction of Gryffindor Tower with the help of statues one by one.
Fortunately, the portraits on the wall were all asleep, and they didn't make any sound. His journey was very smooth.
But his body froze suddenly - he saw a pair of gleaming eyes in the darkness staring at him.
He met those eyes!
It's Filch's favorite cat, Mrs. Norris.
Allen felt his scalp go numb, and he looked at Mrs. Norris with pleading eyes, and at the same time made a quiet gesture to her.
Mrs. Norris looked at Allen quietly like this, with a peaceful look.
Allen breathed a sigh of relief, when he thought he could pass.
Mrs. Norris uttered a piercing and shrill cry, which traveled very far in the dark night, and then Allen heard Filch's footsteps swearing in this direction.
The situation suddenly became critical.
As Filch's footsteps got closer, Allen made a quick decision, and he observed a puddle of water on the ground in the distance.
He drew out his wand and pointed at that place, thinking about cleaning up the water in his mind, setting the destination as Professor Snape's office, and whispered a spell.
This time the spell failed as expected, and the water in the distance exploded as expected.
Mrs. Norris looked suspiciously at the direction of the explosion, then looked at Allen, with a look of hesitation
But she made up her mind quickly, leaping towards the sound and sounding a warning to Filch.
As expected, Filch's footsteps changed direction, getting further and further away from Allen.
Allen let out a long sigh of relief, seized this opportunity, and ran back to the Gryffindor Tower in one breath.
Harry and Ron thought he was going to duel with Malfoy, and they were anxious to go out to find him.
After expressing his gratitude to Harry and Ron for their concern, Alan climbed into his bed and fell asleep in a short while.
Before losing consciousness, Allen decided to go to Professor Quirrell every Saturday to study.
