Chapter 68: Chapter 65
(Masamune pov)
With this new life, I decided to try something like dating for real. I mean, in my previous life, what the heck was work-life balance? If you didn't work, that meant you had zero balance in your bank account instead of unlimited. And honestly, I've got serious trust issues. The only people I've ever met are gold-digging bitches chasing after my money.
In this second chance, there are a lot of people who helped me reach this point, and one of them is Kirisaki Hana.
When I say she's my sugar mommy, there's no other explanation—what else do you call an older woman who pampers me, a literal teenager crazy about money? Back in the day, there was no one crazy enough to lend me, a 12-year-old brat, millions of dollars for my investment plan except Hana.
However, I showed my worth. She believed in me, not because of sugar-coated words or talk no jutsu since I'm not a main character, but because I won the bet we made. That time, my F1 team won the first race of the 2009 season, she hadn't even expected us to win the drivers' and constructors' championships either.
As time passed, we came to respect each other equally, and she became my strongest ally. Besides work-related matters, I developed personal ties with her, too.
Back to the present. Right now, Hana, my mom, and I are sitting together at a round table.
"You look good in that uniform. Anyway, come on, call me Mommy," said Hana, her eyes sparkling.
When Hana arrived here, somehow, the café was empty soon after. When I checked outside, I was pissed to find she'd brought her gangster boys to guard the area around the café!
I hummed. "Why are you so obsessed with me calling you that?"
"Ungrateful brat! You've grown into a man and already forgotten the one who raised you, huh? And here I thought you didn't have any acting talents—guess I was wrong. Want me to call Hollywood for you?"
"Uh, well—" Before I could respond, Mom cut me off.
"Ara~ I think Ma-kun is right since I'm the one and only person he can call Mommy. Also, Ma-kun is already tired; I think Hollywood is too much for him. Besides, you just want to bring him back with you to America. Fufu~ did you think I wouldn't notice that?" Mom said, her smile as cold as ice.
"Tch…" Hana clicked her tongue. "Kinue, this isn't a competition, but I raised him spiritually, financially, and literally. I protected him from bastards like Shinomiya, so I do have a right."
My mom giggled softly. "That's true. I'm thankful for that, Hana. And yet, he's my son. I gave birth to him and raised him since he was a cute little baby."
"Should I go?" I interjected.
"No, stay here," they said curtly in unison.
What the heck is this atmosphere?! These women are really competitive over the Mommy nickname! Please, grow up! Don't you feel ashamed acting this childish?
"Then how about this? If he marries my girl, Chitoge, then he should call me Mom naturally, right?" Hana suggested.
Kinue clapped her hands. "That's lovely! But Ma-kun already has a girlfriend, so—"
"WHAT?!"
Hana looked at me, her eyes darkening.
"How dare you not say anything about this to me?! Spit it out, boy! Who the heck is this girl? If she's a bitch who's after your money, I'll make her swim in Tokyo Bay!—I won't show her any mercy!" she said, cracking her knuckles.
"They're decent people, so calm down, Hana. Mom has already met them, so just ask her if you don't believe me."
"Huh?" Hana gave me a side-eye. "They?"
In this world, having more than one partner has been normalized since the end of World War II. However, that doesn't mean everyone—especially women—agrees with this new normal. Even so, Japan still has terrible birth rates because people focus too much on work and neglect actual life. But for Hana, a strong woman, this idea has never been appealing.
However, I, Makabe Masamune, am a strong man as well.
"..." With a calm, unwavering expression, I said, "I have three girlfriends."
"Say that again."
"I have three—"

After getting her act together, Hana sighed.
"Well, I never raised him like this. This is your doing, right?"
Hearing Hana's prejudicial question, Kinue pouted. "There's no way I taught him to be like this. If I had to say, it's Father's teachings that made my boy like this."
Hana hummed thoughtfully. "Makes sense. Uncle Hachiro raised Masamune for a long time. Well, I guess that explains it." She glanced at me, her gaze sharp. "Boy… since you're going to marry my daughter, I'll discipline you. Therefore, clear your schedule for the day after tomorrow and come with me to a hot springs resort."
"Yay! Hot springs! It's been a while since I last washed Ma-kun's back!" Mom exclaimed cheerfully.
"Kinue! Who said I'm bringing you with me?"
"Isn't it natural for me to come along as well?"
Fairly speaking, who said I'm marrying her daughter? But I hate debating, so let's get out of this with an excuse.
"I'll pass. There's something I have to do, like attending a party for the new CEO and so on. Busy. Not a chance."
"Oh dear. Then we'll just come to the party. How about bringing Yaeko along with us, too?"
Hold on.
"You know Mrs. Nishimiya?" I asked.
It wasn't just Hana; my mom nodded as well.
"We went to the same all-girls high school and became friends," Mom said.
Hana smiled. "It brings me back to my glory days. The four of us had so much fun back then—until we went our separate ways after getting married."
"Then let's invite Miyako as well~ Recently, she's been helping Ma-kun a lot with his debut in showbiz. I'd like to thank her with a nice vacation," Mom added.
"Hahaha! Miyako? It's been a decade since I last heard her name."
So, Mom, Hana, Yaeko, and my manager Miyako... They're all acquaintances? And now, somehow, because of me, they're reuniting?
"Alright, it's done. I booked the resort."
I decided to book my own resort in Hokkaido in two days to spend time with these older women.
"Brat, you're thinking something offensive, aren't you?" Hana snapped.
"Huh? Why would I do that?"
