With just a handful of talented individuals completing tasks, the rewards would pile up endlessly. The resources earned just from completing tasks, let alone the tasks themselves, were enough to drive anyone mad with excitement.
The pill recipes, formations, and pills were classified similarly to how cultivation families were ranked. One-star items were for Qi Refinement stage, two-star for Foundation Establishment, and three-star for Golden Core, continuing upward.
Weapons, however, were classified a bit differently, divided into three major categories: magic tools, treasures, and spirit treasures. Each of these categories was further divided into low-grade, middle-grade, high-grade, and top-grade.
Magic tools were typically used by Qi Refinement, Foundation Establishment, and Golden Core cultivators. Treasures were used by Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, and Void Refinement cultivators, while spirit treasures were reserved for cultivators of even higher realms.
Of course, there were exceptions. Some talented or well-connected Foundation Establishment or Golden Core cultivators might possess treasures.
As for cultivation methods, they were divided into four tiers: Human-tier, Profound-tier, Earth-tier, and Heaven-tier. Each of these was subdivided into low-grade, middle-grade, high-grade, and top-grade. Human-tier cultivation methods were the most common, while Heaven-tier methods were only available in eight- or nine-star sects or families.
The reward of a single Heaven-tier method alone showed how generous the task rewards could be.
As for the Family Head-exclusive task, Lin Xuan had no doubt that the Investment Gift Pack would be invaluable. However, the investment task required a purple fortune target, which made things more challenging.
Fortune colors were divided into black, white, green, blue, purple, gold, and rainbow. Only those with green or higher fortune were worth investing in, and purple fortune individuals were incredibly rare. Among the Lin Family’s dozen or so elders, none even had green fortune, let alone purple.
