I had always wanted to praise those protagonists who, after being transported to another world and treated as heroes, still went through so much hardship.
Remarkable, truly remarkable. How could they endure such suffering? Getting injured, facing life-threatening dangers… Those guys would succeed in reality too.
I could never do that.
“Young Master.”
“Hmm.”
A maid had, at some point, refilled my empty teacup. The distinctive aroma rising from the cup stimulated my nose.
A quiet study, tucked away in a corner of the lord’s castle, just for me. I spent a pleasant moment gazing at the clear blue sky beyond the open window.
The caste system, predetermined from birth.
The strangely advanced everyday items, characteristic of fantasy worlds.
The position of the second son of a count’s family, frequently seen in fantasy novels.
“Being born with a silver spoon is truly the best.”
“Pardon? Shall I prepare a silver spoon?”
“Hmm… That wouldn’t be bad either.”
“Yes. Please wait a moment.”
“Alright.”
The maid hurried down the hallway.
I smiled and watched the swaying hem of her skirt.
Being among the celestial dragons truly was the best.
