The Speed Of The Stars

They Look at the driver of the eight six. They are all Left in an awe, It was Collei. Collei is driving her father's AE86. As Collei shuts the driver's side door. Beidou, Seele and Pela Approach Collei with confusion and desperation. Beidou is fist to interact with Collei

- Collei! What the hell is going on? What are you doing here? Where's your dad? Why Are You Here!?

Collei scratches her head

- That's a lot of questions there Beidou but my dad's back at the house?

Beidou Panics slightly

- Look. Thanks for bringing the Eight Six Up here but without your father behind the wheel, its practically useless! 

Collei was pretty annoyed from this she speaks in her mind.

- Thanks for bringing me up here Dad. You've practically put me in a Difficult situation here!

Beidou asks if Collei's dad gave her any advice at all. Collei Just replies with what Arlecchino told her that afternoon.

- All she said was to Find some gal driving an FD that claims to be the fastest in Araumi, and beat the living daylights out of her on the downhill.

Everyone is left in an awe. Beidou is surprised that Arlecchino said that to Collei.

- Your Father told you that? You were supposed to drive against Keqing in that FD? 

Collei simply nods. Beidou then asks a difficult question.

- But can you beat her?

Collei Responds.

- I cant say for sure. But if it really matters to you. I've already beaten her once on the downhill a couple nights ago...

Beidou steps back a little. Taking in what collei just said

- You've beaten Keqing on a downhill race before!?!?

Collei simply nods. Beidou and her team left speechless. Staring at Collei. Right on queue. March pushes her way through Beidou, Seele And Pela and calls out Collei.

- Collei! What the hell are you doing!? Trying to interrupt the race!? 

Beidou advises march to back off collei who at this points is trying to push collei back into the eight six so she can move it off the starting line. March tries to defend Collei, Citing that sometimes she cant think straight. but Beidou tells march to step aside. So she does. Beidou then asks collei the major question.

- Collei. By any chance you deliver the tofu in the mornings with this car for your father?

Collei Nods

- Nowadays I'm the one doing the deliveries for my father. I've been doing so for the past Five Years

Beidou is in awe once again.

- You've been driving for five years!?

Collei silently nods. Beidou finally grasping the situation.

- I think i finally understand... I'm glad you came today Collei. Thank you for saving our butts on this one.

Collei then smiles. Giving Beidou the thumbs up. Beidou then turns to Keqing and apologizes for the delay saying they can finally start the downhill battle. Everyone clears out the starting line. As Collei opens the door. Keqing grabs her attention.

"Hey Kid, You seem very young for someone with a lot of skill. Is it possible for me to know your name?

Collei responds.

- My name is Collei, Its nice to meet you.

Keqing smirks a little and introduces herself.

- Alright Collei. I'll try to remember that. Anyways, My name is Keqing. And i wont make the same mistake twice...

Both Drivers enter their car and strap themselves to their seats. preparing to race. Both engines starting up. And their headlights. Flicking up and turning on. The race Is finally set. Beidou then steps in right between the cars to start the countdown. Beidou begins the countdown, As the countdown continues. Seele Pela and March over hear what other spectators are saying.

-350 Horsepower against an Eight Six? This race is already decided.

-Yeah no doubt about it. No way in hell an Eight Six Can beat an RX7

As the engines rev up The countdown is now reaching the end

- 3!

- 2! 

- 1! 

- GO!

Beidou drops both hands to signal the start of the race. Both Cars launch off the start line. Screeching tyres and engines accelerating. Immediately The RX7 Takes the lead. The Eight Six. Following behind its power advantage against the Eight six Is obvious. But Ningguang on the other hand notices one thing with the Eight Six. She notes that the Eight Six's Gear ratios are Short. Indicating that the Eight Six has a Rally style Gear ratios meant for the Yougou Pass. As Both cars Accelerate down towards the first corner. Keqing glances at her rear view mirror.

- After a couple corners. You wont be a speck in my rear view mirror!

The RX7 Reaches the first corner first and drifts through it with ease and precision. The Eight six follows from behind. Collei then straightens on and takes a deep breath. She then breaths out and puts on a straight face.

- Let's Begin.

The Eight six Slightly brakes, and Proceeds to execute a Perfect Braking 4 Wheel Drift around the first turn. her exit. a mere couple centimeters away from the guardrail. Collei is Flying! The spotters are left at an awe. The radio's of both Ningguang and Beidou Crackle to life

-That Eight Six is flying! She Executed a perfect 4 wheel drift around the Corner! Her exit just mere centimeters away from the Guardrail! I've never seen anyone drift at that kind of speed before!

Keqing continues to race down Yougou, the screams of screeching tyres and exhaust crackles echoing around the mountain pass. As they reach the 2nd Hairpin turn. Keqing notices headlights at her rear view mirror once again

- What the f- How is that possible!? No... That's IMPOSSIBLE!

The Two continue to race down the mountain The Eight Six, Clearly catching up at each turn and hairpin. Back at the summit of Yougou. Beidou just finished telling March, Seele And Pela about Collei and Her Father. March left speechless.

- No Way! I had no idea that Collei's Dad was a legendary street racer, yet alone the fastest one in here!

Beidou Nods

-Yep, That is right

March still cant grasp it though.

- I've met her a couple times, seemed like your ordinary parent, Seemed weird to me that She's being referred to as Dad Or Father even though clearly its her Mother.

Beidou is confused but understands why

- Well in some cases, if the Father figure is missing. A mother can not just only take the role of the mother figure, but also the father figure, But in the case of Collei' Arlecchino might prefer being called Dad Even though she's clearly a mom. And always remember that you cant tell who they really are until you know them pretty damn well And besides. Mr. Snezhevich told me that She is still the fastest racing in Yougou

March's Jaw drops in shock Beidou Continues.

- I say, If Collei's dad brought her here. All we can do is trust that she knows what she is doing and what she also needs is our support. Besides she's our friend after all.

Seele joins in on the conversation.

- At least its better than me racing Keqing unprepared 

But March brings up something.

- I get it but just because Arlecchino is fast, it doesn't mean collei is fast right?

Beidou Replies to what march just said

- That maybe true but Collei has beaten Keqing before, so i think we are in the clear

Everyone is shocked. March speaks out loud.

- Huh!? Our Dumb old Collei Beaten Keqing on a downhill race before!?

Ningguang And the others heard a snippet of what March said but Beidou then pulls her team over father to another side and snugs them up closer March continues but in a more toned down voice.

- That's unbelievable! A couple days ago Collei doesn't even know what an eight six is! Seriously! She doesn't know crap about racing, how'd she beat Keqing!?

Back at the race. The Race itself is turning into a hot one. Keqing's RX7 Clearly quicker on the straightaways is being caught up by the eight six on the corners and hairpin turns. and soon completely catches up to the Rear bumper of Keqing's FD. 

- Thats Impossible! She caught up to me! I have to be loosing my mind!, Is This a nightmare!?

At the end of the next hairpin and onto a straightaway near a skate rink. The RX7 Starts to leave the eight six behind once again. Collei notes of this

- On the corners we are practically the same until the corner exit. But at the straightaways She's clearly faster with more power under her hood.

The spotters notices how close the RX7 And The Eight six are together, and radios in on the top. This time. Ningguang's Radio Crackles into life

- This is the straightaway by the skate rink, this is unbelievable! The eight six is right behind Keqing's Rear bumper. I've never seen anyone follow Keqing this Close or this long at all! After the next straightaways are mostly Hairpins and Corners, We really might have a problem Here!

Ningguang's radio falls silent. Her face. slightly troubled.

- I didnt expect Yougou had a great street racer upon them. But... I underestimated her. By a long shot.

At the next long straightaway. The RX7 Clearly starts gaining a Significant lead away from the eight six. only to loose most of it on the next hairpin. Collei knows that this race wont do for her unless she wins.

- I know her, Unless i pass her, she wont believe i won this race... I'm left with no option here.. 

She then puts on a serious face.

- This Battle ends at the Five Consecutive hairpin turns

At the final two corners, The eight six closes the gap with the RX7, Clearly the Eight six has more speed into the Corners. As the approach the first of the five Hairpin turns. Keqing brakes, But the eight six passes her from the inside line and continues at full speed! The radio of Ningguang crackles to life once more. 

-The Eight six is headed straight for the hairpin corner! And She's Fast! Almost like her brakes have gone out!

Collei then suddenly slams on the brakes for a split second. Then pulls off a move that would leave Keqing confused 

- Huh? what the hell's that noise!?

The eight six Hooks its right wheels into the gutter. The Eight six nearly travelling at full speed slingshots past Keqing. Gripping intensely throughout the corner while Keqing drifts around the corner. Collei repeats the same Technique Called "The Gutter Run" For the remaining 4 hairpins, and gains a significant lead from Keqing. The radio once again crackles to life.

- She passed from the inside. Made Keqing look like an old lady headed home from the grocery store!

Everyone is Speechless. The entire summit. Left silent. The chirps of crickets, the only one making noise. A Female Bystander with dark blue hair Understood what she just done. 

- The only place you can find that technique is here in Yougou. This really will become interesting for me to say the least...

At the finishing line The Spotters radio in to the summit

- Finish line here, We can hear them coming. They are getting close, and fast!

Moments later headlights are seen and the Eight six is ahead! The Spotter radios in to the summit.

- The Eight Six! The Eight Six Wins! She Wins It All!! Its All Hers! 

Keqing is furious, Her 350 Horsepower RX7 FD Beaten by an Eight Six

- I cant Believe this! 350 Horsepower For nothing! This is Bullshit!

Both Cars Pass the finish line. The margin between both cars being One and a half car length. The spotter radios in one last time

- The Eight Six Crossed the finish line! Keqing Lost! Its All the Eight Six's!

Beidou and her team Begins celebrating. Joyous Noise Clearly erupting from their side. Ningguang Admits defeat by simple closing her eyes and bowing her head slightly. Keqing parks her car at the side and exits her car. Staying silent. Watching the eight six Disappear into the streets of Yougou. Beidou Then finally calls it in telling everyone that the race is a wrap and time to head home! The crowd beings to leave. Beidou And Seele Leaving in Seele's S30Z, with Pela And March following Seele in Pela's MR2. Driving down Yougou as a convoy. Last to leave Was Ningguang. Still taking it in that Keqing lost. Big time, to an Eight Six.
