The Speed Of The Stars

As the GT86 and the AE86 reach the first corner. Collei and Eula then mash the gas, Both cars simultaneously jolt forwards, The race has officially begun. Eula's gap between the AE86 increases little by little but each corners for some apparent reason. the gap decreases little by little on each corner. The AE86 Flawlessly drifts through each corner and hairpin with ease. Easily copying Eula's GT86's way of going through a corner

Collei grips the wheel slightly tighter "Damn. She's fast. I might be in trouble here. But she can do this course with ease. So Can I!"

The two continue to race at blisteringly fast speeds around Amakane The AE86 manages to keep up throughout the course so far

Eula looks at her rear view mirror "I'm impressed. She's keeping up with me so far.."

As they continue to race down Amakane Collei starts to loose a bit of focus

Her eyes narrow "Jesus Christ. Its like i'm in a roller coaster! I'm just here along for the ride!

Back at the top of Amakane Pass. Beidou, March, Seele And Amber await for their arrival.

Beidou leans against Her R32 "If One can do it. So can i Philosophy. That's what Collei meant. If Eula can race around this pass with ease. So can she."

Seele nods "Totally. That's what she meant. Usually people who say that ends up loosing the race anyways

Amber shakes her head "Not all the time. But for a case like this. You may have a point. At each corner, both of them are entering them at a high speed. It will take all of Collei's technique and courage to pass Eula on her home course. If Collei looses her focus and makes a wrong move. "She then looks out into the darkness "Collei may get killed here."

Back in Yougou. Arlecchino finishes a Batch of tofu in preparation for Collei's next delivery run the following morning.

She then walks outside lights a cigarette and looks at March's Supra "So Collei went to Amakane pass. Racing a GT86. Why a GT86?"

Back in Amakane, Collei starts getting into the groove and starts picking up the pace. The Gap between Eula and Collei starts shrinking little by little Collei's courage increases little by little the more they drive around the pass.

In Araumi, Ningguang is in her laptop. Looking through files around the Eight Six and Yougou Pass.

She takes a sip of coffee "There has to be a way to find its weakness around Yougou Pass. I need to determine at what speed i should enter those corners.

She then thinks back on the races she won "She beaten Keqing's RX7. Then Obliterated Yelan's Porsche Turbo, The Blackbird. Then Silverwolf's Integra DC2 on a Gum Tape Deathmatch battle last week."

She then turns back to her laptop "Now how can i beat the Eight Six? I cant copy its Gutter technique or my FC's underside will scrape along the Gutters."

As she browses through the course. She reaches the Five Consecutive hairpin turns 

Her eyes narrows "That's it."

Back in Amakane. The race intensifies. Collei's focus starts to slip away again.

She turns into the corner, but then realizes something "Damn! Too wide!"

Collei turns more into the corner and nearly hits a road sign on the other side. Then followed by a fast left hander. Collei turns into the corner only to turn in way too much and nudges the front end by the guardrail.

She feels a slight hit from the guardrail "Damn! Too Tight!" 

They continue to race Collei's focus continues to slip away "Damn! I need to find a way to pass her!"

Back in Yougou. Arlecchino is sitting inside March's supra. Hands on the wheel

She talks to herself "Every pounding moment makes a racer into a more fiercer driver. With my Kid's exceptional Focus and concentration, paired and my refined techniques. And of course my Tuned Eight Six. The car i spent years fine tuning and crafting it into a racing machine. No chance in hell she'll loose."

Back at the top. Beidou's nervousness starts to get the better of her.

Beidou puts her hands in her jacket pocket. "I bet the race's over. She's got this in the bag"

March hushes Beidou "Dont say things like that Beidou! You have to remember. Collei has never been favored in a single race so far. Remember Keqing's RX7? How about Yelan's Blackbird? And don't forget Collei's Gum Tape Deathmatch with Silverwolf! Despite it being her first time, She won that race. Silverwolf literally nearly thrown herself and her car right off the guardrail!"

Beidou looks out into the distance "But there's always one constant on those races, and that being all those races were at Yougou Pass. The Same route she's been doing for the past five years, March.

March's eyes widen "So you're saying the course really makes that big of a difference?"

Beidou nods "If Collei driven this pass at least once before, then i wouldn't be worried. But driving up here on the uphill once doesn't count. This is her true first run, She doesn't even know this asphalt.

Back in the race, Collei still trailing behind Eula's GT86

She then starts to imagine the road in front of her "Next corner is A105. If i'm able to pull along side her. Then I'll be able to pass her this way! "

Her eyes then narrow "I've watch you pull that crazy drift. Now Its my turn to show you what I've got!"

At Corner A105. A couple of locals arrive and park at the rest area by the corner 

One of the spectators steps out of a Mazda MX-5 "Hey. Y'all here to check out that GT86 do its famous continuous Drift here?"

The other spectator nods. Leaning against his Nissan Silvia S15 "Yeah. we gotta see that drift. It's a helluva drift to pull of at this corner. If you are able to pull the perfect drift here. And continue to the next corner. Then you can manage what Amakane can pull against you.

Moments later they hear screeching tyres.

The MX5 Spectator straightens out "I hear the GT86 Coming!"

Moments later. Two Headlights show up The Battle of the Eight Six's has arrived 

The R33 spectator's eyes narrow "Here's Eula in her Rocket Bunny GT86!

The MX5 Spectator's eyes widen "And Who's that in the white car!? Nobody told me there's a race here!"

As the cars get closer The distinctive popup headlights are noticed

The two of them speak at the same time "Whoa!? An AE86?

The race suddenly reaches its climax Eula slams on the brakes. Collei then moves out of the slipstream and pulls right beside her. 

Eula's eyes widen "What the hell is she doing!?"

Then the two start drifting into the turn in tandem. The two eight six's are mere inches away from contact from one another

The two spectators speak at the same time "They're going into the turn!"

Collei manages to keep its distance with Eula's GT86. As they prepare for the continuous inertia drift. Collei brakes slightly. Knowing that Eula brakes much more than her onto the next hairpin"

The two spectator's eyes widen

The MX5 Spectator's eyes narrow suddenly "No Way! That's Yougou's AE86!!"

As Collei gets behind Eula. She then mashes the gas and gets along the inside of the right corner. As anticipated. Eula slams on the brakes to slow down and make the turn. Suddenly. Eula's GT86 starts understeering suddenly

Eula fights for the controls "Damnit! How am i understeering!"

Eula then mashes on the gas but its too late. Collei Passes her on the inside line at A105.

As they exit the corner. The race is decided. Collei manages to gap Eula's GT86 by half a car. Then the two slow down. Knowing the race is finally over.

At the top. March awaits by the edge of the starting line when she hears two rumbling engines. 

March then narrows her eyes and signals everyone to come over "Hey! I hear them coming! 

As the rest of the group approaches the starting line. They see the two Eight Six's The GT86 is ahead. With the AE86 behind.

Beidou fears the worst "I think they're preparing for another run"

As the two cars near the entrance and to the starting line Collei rolls her window down and puts a fist up

The group's eyes widen and begins celebrating. Jumping for joy

March raises a fist "She Did it! She Won!!"

Amber Hugs March "Of Course she did! Thats Spectacular!"

Seele then Hugs Beidou "The Impossible Is Possible Beidou! Just because its her first run. Doesn't mean she's gonna loose!"

The group erupts in celebration and laughter. As the two cars park by The Other's car. They then turn on the hazard lights. They then approach the cars. Beidou's group approaches Collei's Eight Six. Clearly. She's smiling.

Collei rolls her window down and leans a bit out of the window "That's got to be the best race I've done yet!"

Beidou Leans in "How does it feel to win in a different course"

Collei giggles "It feels amazing!"

Beidou then steps away and the others surround Collei's window. She walks to Eula who just steps out of her Car. 

Beidou shakes Eula's Hand. "So. How did it go?"

Eula smiles "It was great. I actually had fun ya know."

Beidou smirks and nods "That's good to hear Eula."

Hours later all of them are at the base of Amakane, Drinking coffee at a convenience store

Eula takes a sip of her coffee "So, Collei. I gotta ask you. How do you have enough courage to go side by side with me at Corner A105?"

Collei looks at the skies for a moment then looks at Eula "Well. Before our Meeting at Amakane Pass. We were watching you at A105. I saw how you did the corner. So when i was tailing you. I anticipated you to brake earlier than usual to try and throw me off. So i took that as an advantage"

Eula's eyes widen "Damn.. I gotta say kid. You got alot of skill for your age."

Eula then approaches Collei and holds out a hand "Well, Collei. It's been a pleasure racing with you"

Collei swaps coffee hands and shakes Eula's hand "It's nice racing with you.

The night looms with positivity. A Race that started with drama. Ended on a positive note. And friendships mended."
