The Speed Of The Stars

That night at Amakane, Beidou, Seele, Collei And Pela are parked at a rest area near Corner A105. A Fast 90 degree left hander, everyone is watching the locals drift flawlessly through Corner A105. 

March looks at Collei. "So. Umm.. Collei? I know you haven't driven in any other passes besides Yougou. But what do you think of this pass so far?

Collei rubs her chin a little "I can't really say, unless i try driving here. But from what I've observed at the back seat. This track is very tight.

Then the sounds of a Flat-4 Turbo roar through the passes

Seele Steps forward "Here it is! The GT86!"

The GT86 brakes slightly and initiates a flawless braking drift, the car slides with ease. It passes through the corner at insane speeds, then the car countersteers for the next right corner and initiates a continuous inertia drift.

Pela's eyes widen "No Way! A continuous Inertia drift! And those speeds! They are freaking quick!"

Beidou smirks "I think we've seen enough. Come on guys. Lets head home."

The group drives back to the base of Amakane as a convoy. March lets Collei drive her supra so she can get an idea on how its like driving at a pass like Amakane. As the group progresses through the Pass. Beidou starts picking up the pace and speeds up little by little.

March leans forward from her seat "Is it just me, or Beidou has picked up the pace a little here?"

Collei grips the wheel firmly "Looks like it."

Seele focuses from ahead "She's way out of groove. Its not like her to try driving quick through a pass she's unfamiliar with" 

Suddenly. Beidou's R32's rear gets loose and spins. Beidou tries to countersteer but was unable to recover and spins. Facing nose to nose with March's supra.

March gasps "Jeez! She spun!"

Seele leans back at her seat "Well. what did i say? She doesnt normally drive fast in Unfamiliar territory. She'd usually take it easy."

Suddenly. the sounds of a turbo wastegate echo's around them.

Collei looks at her rear view mirror "Looks like we got some company" 

The Blue GT86 suddenly appears from behind. But, driving slowly. Taking it easy like they were heading home. They slow down a bit more and pass the Supra and the R32 Slowly

The co-driver looks at her left side "Looks like someone went a bit too fast and over compensated"

The driver looks to her left "Yeah. We should check on them.

The co-driver rolls her window down. "Hey? Are you okay? Looks like a nasty spin happened here.

Beidou looks to her left "Oh Um Yeah! I punched the gas a little to early and the turbo spooling caught me off guard!" 

Suddenly Beidou's eyes widen on who is the driver. "No way... Eula!?"

Eula's eyes widen from who she sees. "Beidou!?

At the supra. Collei's eyes widen "Amber!?

March raises an eyebrow. "Amber?"

Collei looks at March "She's one of my old friends at elementary. She moved towns before High School."

She then steps out and Approaches the GT86

Collei looks at Amber and calls her out "Um. Amber?

Amber looks behind her "Oh... Collei..."

The two of them stare at each other for quite some time.

Amber lowers her head a little. "I. I'm sorry we have to meet like this.

Collei keeps staring "So do I Amber."

Amber then settles back at her seat before Eula Then drives off. Beidou then Spins around and Follows Eula's GT86 to a nearby rest area.

They stop by at a convenience store before an intersection, Beidou then pulls Eula to one side while Collei approaches Amber who steps out of Eula's GT86

Beidou aggressively points at Eula. "Okay Eula. Enough of the bullshit. What is going on? Are You, The Fastest in Amakane?

Eula nods. "Yes. Yes I Am."

Beidou turns away and puts her hands up. Moments later she turns back to Eula "Why didn't you say anything!? It would have made it much more simpler to understand!"

Eula puts her hands behind her back. "I don't know Beidou. I don't know, what i was thinking."

As Beidou and Eula continue to talk. Collei and Amber Catch Up.

Collei leans against the GT86 beside Amber. "How you've been? It's been forever since I've seen you."

Amber looks at Collei. "I've been great. I've been hearing alot of things about you Collei"

Collei widens her eyes a little "You've heard about me?"

Amber nods "Yeah. I've heard about you. The Downhill ace of Yougou. You racing these top of the line Sports cars in your Father's AE86? That's incredible."

Collei blushes a little "Oh.. I was just. Umm.. Doing what i was tasked to do."

Amber giggles a little "You never changed, did you Collei?"

Collei giggles "I don't know about that."

Amber Blushes "You still look as good as i first met you ya know."

Collei Blushes. Her face turning red. "Oh.. Um..... Thanks?"

Amber laughs "You never changed at all Collei."

Collei puts a hand behind her neck "So.. Umm. Amber? Just wondering. Do you live here?"

Amber smiles. "Actually. I've moved back to Yougou A couple months ago.:

Collei's eyes widen "Wait. You moved back!?"

Amber winks at her "Yeah! I moved back."

Collei touches her chin "So. You and Eula. Are you partners or something?"

Amber nods her head a little "No. We're merely friends. I helped her tune the suspension in her GT86. Get all the potential out of it." 

Collei Lets out her breath. "Oh.. I see. Hehe"

Amber laughs "You definitely didn't change at all Collei"

Beidou And Eula's argument continues

Beidou's eyes narrows "Tell me the truth. And i mean it. What are you really after Eula?"

Eula lets off a huge sigh "I'm after the Eight Six."

Beidou's eyes suddenly widens "The Eight Six?

Eula nods "Yes. I actually in-fact want to step back from street racing a little. I'm not here about the fame and everything. I just want to drive. And drive as fast as i can. I don't want to be Coerced into racing here, and racing there. 

Beidou calms down and nods "Now i get it. You want your final race to be one of your most challenging Opponent. You want the eight six to race you?"

Eula nods "Yes. And if possible. Race on my home course. Here in Amakane.

Beidou nods "I see. But. Come on Eula. Had you been honest to me. It would have been a much easier task for me to have Collei Race you. 

Eula puts a hand behind her neck "Yeah. I know that. I'm so sorry Beidou.

Beidou then puts a hand on Eula's Shoulder "It's alright Eula. Just... Be honest to me next time.

Eula nods "Thank You. Beidou"

Inside the convenience store. March, Seele And Pela Watch closely on Collei and Amber. 

Seele discretely watches. "Is it just me. Or There's a true relationship between the both of them?"

March nods "Agreed. The two of them are childhood friends from what Collei told me on the way here, Soo. Yeah."

Pela blushes a little "Not gonna lie. The two of them are a Cute Couple."

Seele and March slowly turns their heads To Pela 

Pela's face turns into annoyance "Guys. Get real. Its actually true you know.

March straightens out "Kind of think of it. Yeah. They actually do"

Eula then walks to her GT86. She then looks at Amber. "So. Umm. We part ways here. Right?

Amber nods and puts her hand out to shake Eula's hand "Yep. Well Eula. It's been a pleasure working with you."

Eula puts a hand out and shakes Amber's hand. "Likewise Amber. I'll see you when i get to see ya"

Eula starts her GT86 and drives off Into the Town of Amakane. Collei and Amber stand as they watch the GT86 drive off.

Beidou then walks to Seele, Pela, and March who exited the convenience store "So. Um. What's with Amber?"

March bows her head a little "We overheard the conversation a little. Apparently Amber lives in Yougou."

Beidou puts a hand on her waist. "Well what do ya know?"

Pela then whispers to Beidou "Collei and Amber are very Close friends since their youth."

Beidou puts a hand over her mouth and whispers "Oh. I see"

Beidou then Approaches Amber And Collei "Hey there. About time we head home?

Collei and Amber look towards Beidou. Collei responds. "Yeah. Lets head home."

Beidou points at her R32 "Say. How about you two drive my R32 back to Yougou? Catch up here and there? I'll ride with March in her supra."

Collei and Amber looks at each other. Collei then turns to Beidou. "Are you sure?"

Beidou then pulls out her keys and gives it to Collei "Don't sweat it kid. Have fun!"

Beidou heads for March's supra as Collei and Amber Head for Beidou's R32. The Convoy soon leaves heading back to Yougou. The Clear Bright Night sky shines above them. The time is 10:30PM

At the expressway Beidou touches march's shoulder a little "So March. What do you think of Collei and Amber?"

March takes a glimpse at the rear view and looks back at the road. "Not gonna lie here Beidou. She's a great friend to Collei. She told me some stories about Her and Amber."

Beidou sits back at her seat "Oh Really? Do tell!"

March leans back at her seat still focused on the road. "Keep your voice down a little Beidou. Pela and Seele are asleep. You see. In Collei's youth. She's socially anxious. You know. the type that likes to stay indoors and not bond with anyone outside. She does go outside here and there to run errands with her father. At school She met Amber. Amber's the type that gets along with everybody. Always with a positive attitude. She helped Collei with that issue of Being socially anxious. Now look at her. The type that'll talk to anyone and actually bond with us and friends."

Beidou nods and smiles "I see. That's why Collei has a Special friendship with Amber. Amber Helped her out with her issues."

At the R32. Collei takes a glimpse at Amber. "So. Amber?"

Amber looks at Collei. "What is it Collei?"

Collei loosely grips on the wheel "Do have your own car? And do you race at all?"

Amber giggles "As a matter of fact. I do. I drive A blue Nissan Sileighty.

Collei raises an eyebrow "Sileighty?"

Amber nods "Yep. A Sileighty is a Nissan 180SX with its Front end swapped with one from a Nissan Silvia S13. Hence the name. Sileighty. Sil in Silvia. Eighty in 180.

Collei snaps her fingers "Oh. I get it now! So you do race?"

Amber nods and smiles. "Yep. I race on the Uphill's mainly. But i also do Downhills here and there." 

Collei then remembers something "Actually. Beidou's team is looking for someone to run the Uphill section of Yougou. Say. Let me call her."

Collei grabs her phone and quickly dials Beidou's phone number. The phone crackles to life "Hey Collei. What's up?"

Collei speaks into the phone. "Hey Beidou. I was wondering. Are we still looking for an Uphill Ace for the team?"

Collei's phone crackles "Yeah. We're still looking for one."

Collei puts her fist up a little "Perfect! I was talking to Amber here. She drives a Blue Nissan Sileighty. She mainly drives on the Uphill's in Yougou" 

Her phone crackles "A blue Sileighty? I remember seeing a fast Blue Sileighty doing runs on the Uphill in Yougou here and there. The driver's quick i'll tell you that. Those corners are fast!"

Amber closes in on Collei's phone a little "Yeah, I was the one driving at the time"

the phone crackles again "Amber! That's you!? Wow! Say. Want to join the team? We're looking for an Uphill ace like you!"

Amber smiles and giggles a little "I'd be honored to join your team Beidou!"

Beidou puts her fist up through the open Targa top of March's supra "Yes! We got ourselves an Uphill Ace!"

Amber looks at the rear windshield and laughs "Gotta love your team leader Collei!"

Collei laughs "That's our Beidou. Always Energetic and happy."

The convoy drives off with positive vibes. A day full of Ups, Downs, drama. And Reuniting old friends comes to a close.
