Chapter 4: **The Dance of the Wind**
The year was 1984 and Ayush was now a legend in the military circles. He had completed over a hundred missions in the last few years. His name was known not just in the Indian Army but also in the CIA, SAS and MI6. He had worked with all of them on different missions.
It was a hot summer day in Delhi, when he received a call from his commanding officer. "Ghost, you are being sent to MI6 for a mission. Your flight is at 4 PM today."
Ayush was at Heathrow Airport by 7 AM the next morning and he quickly got out of the airport. A black Mercedes Benz was waiting for him outside the airport and he got into it.
The driver, who introduced himself as Martin, drove them to the MI6 office in Vauxhall, London. Martin was a seasoned operative and he had already read about Ayush in the files.
He drove for almost 45 minutes and finally reached the MI6 headquarters. They drove into a basement parking lot and got out of the car. Martin then escorted him to a room on the second floor.
The room had a round table and ten chairs around it. Eight men were seated there already and they were all dressed in black tuxedos.
Ayush walked in and sat down on one of the empty chairs. "Good morning gentlemen," he said with a smile.
"Good morning Mr. Kumar. I am Roger...," said the man sitting at the head of the table.
"Call me Ghost...," Ayush replied.
Roger smiled and continued, "We have heard a lot about you Ghost. We are glad you could come to help us on this mission."
"What is this mission about?" Ayush asked curiously.
"Have you ever been to the Middle East?"
"Yes...I have been to Afghanistan once."
"That's good...this mission is going to be in Saudi Arabia. We have heard that Iran is planning to attack Saudi Arabia in a month's time. We need you to go undercover as a local Arab and find out what we can do to stop them."
"But isn't Saudi Arabia a very dangerous place?" Ayush asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, we will take care of you," replied Roger confidently.
"But I don't know Arabic...," protested Ayush.
"Leave that to us. We will teach you everything you need to know," said Roger.
Ayush nodded and agreed to the mission. It was going to be his most daring mission yet.
He spent the next few days learning Arabic from an expert tutor. His tutor, whose name was Peter, was a British citizen of Lebanese descent. He had been working as a tutor at MI6 for over 20 years and he knew everything about the Middle East.
Peter started teaching Ayush Arabic, from the basics and in 3 days, Ayush could already converse in Arabic.
"How are you doing this?" Peter asked him in surprise.
"Practice...," replied Ayush simply.
Ayush practiced day and night and soon he was speaking like a native Arab. He could also speak Farsi, which was the official language of Iran. Peter was amazed by his progress and he soon declared Ayush ready for the mission.
"Now...one more thing. You need to look like an Arab too," said Peter.
Peter took him to a room where they dressed him up in an Arab costume. They wore a black robe, which covered his entire body and also a black head dress, which left only his eyes visible.
"How do I look?" Ayush asked Peter.
"Perfect...now you can go," replied Peter with a smile. "But one more thing, remember, always wear a mask. We can't let them know your face."
Ayush nodded and thanked him for his help.
**The Dance of Death**
Ayush flew out of London that night on a private jet. He landed at Riyadh airport early next morning. He quickly got out of the airport and hailed a cab.
The cab drove him to his hotel, which was located in the city center. Ayush quickly checked in and went to his room. The room was luxurious and it had all the amenities he needed. He went straight into the bathroom and took a bath.
After his bath, he put on his disguise again. He knew that he couldn't take any chances. He then walked out of the room and took the elevator down to the lobby.
He quickly hailed another cab outside the hotel. The driver greeted him and asked him where he wanted to go.
"Take me to Tehran," said Ayush confidently.
"Tehran? That's a 1200 mile drive from here. Are you crazy?" asked the driver in surprise.
Ayush pulled out his gun and pointed it at him. "I said drive."
The driver quickly started the car and they began their long journey towards Tehran, Iran. They drove for 3 days and finally crossed into Iran on the fourth day.
Ayush could see the tall mountains all around him. He had seen this landscape only in movies before. He asked the cab driver to drop him off near a small town called Mashhad, which was located near the Afghanistan border. Ayush thanked the cab driver and got out of the cab.
He walked for a few minutes and then entered the town. It was an old town and many of its buildings were centuries old. He walked into a small market and quickly bought himself some food.
He then walked out of the market and back into the street. It was already dark and Ayush knew he had to find shelter for the night. He quickly found an inn near the market and checked in for the night.
Ayush got up early next morning and got ready to move further into Iran. He walked back into the market and quickly found a cab. "Take me to Qom," he told the driver.
The cab driver nodded and they set off towards Qom, a city located 200 miles south of Tehran. They drove through the entire day and finally reached Qom at 10 PM that night.
Ayush quickly paid the driver and got out of the taxi. He then walked into the city center, which was bustling with people even at night. He knew he had to be careful because if anyone recognized him, they would kill him on the spot.
He then spotted a man, who was sitting on a bench. He wore a traditional Iranian robe and a white cap on his head. Ayush walked towards him and greeted him in Persian.
"Good evening...," said Ayush with a smile.
"Walekum Salaam," replied the man politely.
"I am just passing by...can we talk?" asked Ayush.
The man nodded and Ayush sat down next to him.
"I am from Mashhad...," said Ayush casually.
"Really...I am also from Mashhad," replied the man with interest.
They talked for a while and then Ayush asked him, "Do you know anything about this attack on Saudi Arabia?"
The man quickly looked at him and said, "Yes...I know a lot about it. I work at the Iranian Army headquarters."
Ayush quickly pulled out his gun and said, "You are coming with me."
The man knew he had been caught. He slowly got up and followed Ayush out of the city center.
Ayush hailed a cab outside and they got into it. "Take us to the Pakistani border," said Ayush confidently. The cab driver quickly started the cab and they drove away.
Ayush had the man tied up with a rope in the back seat. He then took out his satellite phone and called Roger at MI6.
"Hello," Roger replied.
"I have the information you needed. I am now on my way to the Pakistani border. I will contact you again from there."
Roger replied, "Be careful Ghost...you are in dangerous territory."
Ayush smiled and replied, "Don't worry about me."
Ayush then disconnected the call and looked back at the man, who was tied up behind him. He knew that the man had to be silenced.
He pulled out his gun again and pointed it at the man. The man quickly understood what was going to happen and started begging for mercy.
"Please let me go...," he begged Ayush.
Ayush knew that the man was just a pawn. He decided to let him live and he told him, "I am letting you go but if you ever tell them about me, I will come after you."
The man quickly nodded and said, "I won't tell anyone...I promise."
Ayush let him go near a small village on the border and then got back into the cab. He asked the driver to take him to Zahedan, a city located on the Iran-Pakistan border.
They drove through all night and finally reached Zahedan at 8 AM the next morning. Ayush got out of the cab and quickly found a hotel. He checked into a room and then contacted Roger again.
"I am here," he told Roger on the phone.
Roger replied, "A Pakistani Army officer has been sent to pick you up from Zahedan. He will bring you to Rawalpindi, where you will meet General Zia-Ul-Haq, who is the President of Pakistan."
Ayush nodded and said, "Send me his details."
Roger sent him the details of the officer, who had been sent to pick him up. Ayush waited for 2 hours in his room and then went down to the lobby. He quickly spotted a tall army officer, who was wearing a green uniform with many badges on it. He wore a big hat over his head and he looked very professional.
"Major Khan?" Ayush asked him.
The man looked at Ayush and said, "Mr. Kumar..."
Ayush quickly greeted him and then they left the hotel. Major Khan took him to the airport, where a military helicopter was waiting for them. Ayush knew that the helicopter was going to take them to Rawalpindi.
They flew for 2 hours and then finally landed on the outskirts of Rawalpindi. Major Khan quickly greeted the military officers, who were waiting for them outside the helicopter.
One of them came forward and said, "Welcome Mr. Kumar...I am Colonel Ali..."
Ayush smiled and shook his hand. "Good to meet you Colonel...," he replied.
Colonel Ali took them to the President's house, which was located a few miles away. Ayush had heard about General Zia but he had never met him before. He wondered what the President would be like.
They quickly arrived at the President's house and were greeted by his guards. They were then taken into a big hall, where General Zia was waiting for them.
Ayush quickly saluted him and said, "Good morning General."
General Zia smiled and said, "It's great to meet you Mr. Kumar...please sit down."
Ayush sat down next to Colonel Ali and then they all got down to business.
"So, what have you learned in Iran?" asked General Zia.
"Iran is planning to launch a nuclear attack on Saudi Arabia in the next week. They have also bribed some senior Saudi officials to help them."
General Zia quickly stood up and asked, "What? That can't be true..."
"It is true General...I have proof," replied Ayush confidently. "The only way to stop this attack is to launch a preemptive attack on Iran."
General Zia thought for a moment and then said, "Very well...let's do it."
General Zia then called a few of his generals and ordered them to prepare for war. He asked Ayush to tell him everything he knew about Iran.
Ayush told him everything he knew and then asked him if he could contact Roger at MI6 and inform him about the war.
General Zia nodded and took him into his office. Ayush quickly called Roger on his satellite phone. Roger was surprised when he heard about the war. "So you are really going to war?" he asked Ayush.
"Yes...," replied Ayush confidently.
Roger then disconnected the call and informed the British Prime Minister about the war. The British Prime Minister quickly called a meeting of the United Nations Security Council and informed them about Pakistan's plan to launch an attack on Iran.
The council was divided in its opinion but most of its members agreed to support Pakistan's actions. The only countries that didn't support Pakistan were Iran and its few allies.
Two days later, the Pakistani Army launched a massive attack on Iran. They had help from the Americans, British, and Arabs. The war lasted for two weeks and the Pakistani Army emerged victorious in the end.
Pakistan took control of all of Iran's nuclear weapons and also destroyed its nuclear facilities. Ayush was hailed as a hero in Pakistan and was awarded the highest award in the country for his bravery.
Ayush then flew back to London, where he was greeted by Roger at Heathrow airport. They quickly drove back to Roger's office, where he briefed him about the mission.
"We did it Ghost...," he said proudly. "Iran won't be able to launch any attacks on us now."
Ayush nodded and then stood up to leave. "Goodbye Roger...," he said with a smile.
Roger stood up and said, "Wait Ghost...I haven't told you yet about your next mission."
Ayush quickly sat down again. "What is it?" he asked Roger curiously. "Tell me."
**The Godfather**
Ayush arrived at Rome's Fiumicino airport and hailed a cab outside. He told the driver to take him to a hotel near Vatican City.
They drove for half an hour and then finally arrived at the hotel. Ayush quickly checked into a room on the top floor and then walked back down to the lobby.
The concierge greeted him and Ayush asked him for directions to Vatican City. The concierge showed him the direction and Ayush thanked him.
Ayush walked out of the hotel and walked down a nearby street. He quickly entered Vatican City and was immediately struck by its beauty. He looked around at the big buildings all around him and wondered what it would be like to live there.
He quickly made his way to St. Peter's Basilica and entered it. He looked at the beautiful artwork all around him and listened as tourists talked in many different languages.
Ayush was an atheist but he knew that many people believed in God. He quickly made his way out of the church and back down into the city.
He hailed a cab near St. Peter's Square and asked the driver to take him into the city. They drove down a narrow road and then finally entered Rome.
Ayush quickly asked the driver to stop at the Colosseum. He got out and looked at the massive structure in front of him. "It's beautiful...," he told the cab driver.
The cab driver smiled and nodded. Ayush took a few photos and then got back into the taxi.
He then asked the driver to take him back to his hotel. They drove for 20 minutes and then arrived back at his hotel.
Ayush got out of the taxi and walked back into his hotel room. He was tired from traveling and decided to take a nap.
He woke up at 4 PM and quickly got out of bed. He pulled out a folder from his bag and read the details about his mission.
Ayush's target was a man named Giovanni. He was a drug dealer and had killed many people in Rome. Ayush had been sent by MI6 to kill him.
He quickly found out the address of Giovanni's house in the folder. It was located in an area called Monti. Ayush decided to go there immediately.
He hailed a taxi outside his hotel and asked him to take him to Monti. They drove through Rome's narrow streets and then finally arrived in Monti.
Ayush quickly got out of the taxi in front of Giovanni's house and walked towards it. It was a big house and it was surrounded by walls on all sides.
Ayush quickly jumped up and climbed onto the walls. He dropped down on the other side and saw two guards standing in front of him.
One of them quickly spotted him and pointed his gun at him. "Who are you?" he asked in Italian.
"I am a friend," Ayush replied in perfect Italian. "I have come to meet Giovanni."
The guard lowered his gun and asked Ayush to follow him. They walked towards the main house and then entered it.
Ayush saw Giovanni sitting in a chair in front of him. He was an old man but he still looked very intimidating. The guards quickly moved away and left Giovanni alone with Ayush.
"What do you want?" Giovanni asked Ayush in Italian.
"I want to talk to you...," said Ayush calmly. "I know you are a drug dealer..."
Giovanni quickly stood up and pointed a gun at Ayush. "How did you know?" he asked angrily.
Ayush looked at him calmly and said, "I have been sent by MI6..."
Giovanni didn't understand what MI6 meant. "What do you mean?" he asked confused.
"I have been sent to kill you," replied Ayush calmly.
Giovanni quickly pulled the trigger but Ayush dodged the bullet. He jumped forward and hit Giovanni on his head.
The old man fell down unconscious. Ayush quickly took his gun and shot him twice in the head. He then took out a knife and cut off his finger.
He then put the finger in a plastic bag and walked out of the house. He jumped onto the walls again and then dropped down on the other side.
He hailed a taxi on the main road and quickly drove back to his hotel. He was going to leave Italy now but he knew he would be back someday. Italy was a beautiful country and he had fallen in love with it.
He was going to miss it but he couldn't stay any longer. He had to leave now or risk being caught by Giovanni's men.
Ayush took the next flight back to London. He was greeted by Roger outside Heathrow airport and he quickly got into his car.
Roger took him back to MI6 headquarters, where he gave him the plastic bag. "Here it is...," said Ayush with a smile.
Roger smiled and then shook his hand. "Great job Ghost...," he said proudly.
**The Dragon**
Ayush had been sent to China on a secret mission by MI6. He arrived in Beijing's Capital International Airport and hailed a cab immediately after landing.
He told the driver to take him straight to the embassy. He didn't want to waste any time on sightseeing. He was here on business and not on vacation.
The driver quickly nodded and drove away. They quickly entered Beijing's traffic and then drove down the 2nd Ring Road.
Ayush quickly saw the beautiful Summer Palace on his right as they drove past it. "Wow...," he muttered in surprise.
The driver turned his head around and said, "Yes, it's very beautiful."
Ayush didn't reply but just nodded. He then quickly read the mission details in his folder again.
His target was a Chinese scientist named Chang. He had stolen top-secret information about China's nuclear weapons from their lab and had sold them to Pakistan. MI6 had been hired by India to kill him.
Ayush quickly found Chang's address in the folder. He was working at the Chinese embassy and lived in the basement of the embassy building.
They quickly arrived at the embassy and Ayush got out. He thanked the driver and then walked towards the building.
Ayush quickly looked around and then ran towards the entrance. He jumped up and climbed through an open window on the first floor. He dropped down quietly inside a bathroom.
He quickly took out his knife and then walked out of the bathroom. Ayush walked down the hallway quietly and then reached a door that read 'Basement'.
He quickly opened it and then walked down the stairs. He quickly heard voices and then turned the corner and saw two guards talking to each other.
Ayush quietly walked up behind them and hit them on their heads. The men quickly fell down unconscious and Ayush dragged them behind a door.
He then walked forward again and quickly found Chang sitting in a computer room. "Who are you?" Chang asked surprised.
"I am here to kill you...," Ayush told him calmly.
Chang quickly stood up and tried to run away. Ayush jumped forward and quickly caught him. He hit Chang on his head with his gun.
Chang fell down unconscious. Ayush looked at his face and then felt a bit of remorse. He was just doing his job but he hated killing people.
Ayush quickly took out his pistol and shot Chang three times in the head. He then quickly cut off his finger and put it in a plastic bag.
Ayush walked back up the stairs and then jumped out of the window again. He quickly hailed a cab on the main road.
He took the next flight back to the UK and was greeted by Roger again outside Heathrow airport. Ayush handed him the finger and smiled.
Roger nodded in approval and then patted him on the back. "Great job again Ghost...," he said smiling.
**The Phoenix**
Ayush sat in his hotel room and read the details of his next mission. His target was a man called Rabin in Bangladesh.
Rabin was a drug dealer who sold drugs in all parts of Bangladesh. He was very rich and powerful and had many powerful friends in Bangladesh's government.
Ayush knew that Rabin was going to be difficult to kill. He was always accompanied by five bodyguards wherever he went. They all carried AK-47s with them all the time.
Ayush decided to start his mission early in the morning. He walked out of his hotel room at 5 AM and hailed a cab. The driver took him to Rabin's house in Gulshan.
He got out of the cab and walked towards Rabin's house. Ayush quickly hid behind a wall and then waited for Rabin to come out.
Rabin finally came out at 6 AM. Ayush saw him getting into his car and then walking out again to talk to one of his guards.
Ayush quickly ran towards Rabin and hit him on his head. Rabin quickly fell down unconscious and his guards were shocked.
The five guards quickly pointed their guns at Ayush but he was faster. He quickly shot them all in the head before they could shoot him.
Ayush then dragged Rabin into the house and then shot him in the head three times. He cut off Rabin's finger and put it in a bag.
He then took out a lighter and set fire to the house. Ayush knew that he had to destroy all evidence before he left.
He walked back out of the house and then hailed a cab again. He drove back to his hotel room and then took the next flight out of Bangladesh.
Ayush arrived at Heathrow Airport again and was greeted by Roger. He handed over Rabin's finger to Roger and then smiled.
"Good job Ghost...," Roger told him with a smile. "You are a true legend now."
Ayush nodded happily and then got into Roger's car. They drove to Roger's office and then sat down to discuss their next mission. Ayush was going to kill a Russian scientist who had stolen top secret information about Russia's missile defence system from their military lab.
**The Snowflake**
Ayush stood outside the military lab in Moscow and looked around. He had been sent by the CIA this time and his mission details told him that the man he had to kill was named Sergei.
Sergei was a very clever man who had just stolen top secret information from Russia's military lab. He had hidden the information in his bag and was now going to sell it to China.
Ayush knew that it was a tough mission. Russia's military labs were heavily guarded and it was impossible to enter them without being detected. He had no option but to find another way into the building.
He walked around the building until he found an open window on the second floor. Ayush quickly climbed up using his knife and entered the building through the window.
He quickly moved down the hallway and looked for Sergei's room. He found it locked but he quickly opened it with his knife. Ayush walked inside and waited for Sergei to come back.
Sergei quickly came back into the room. Ayush pointed his gun at Sergei's head and said, "You are under arrest."
Sergei quickly took out his gun and pointed it at Ayush. He smiled and said, "It's too late for you..."
Ayush quickly dodged the bullet and then hit Sergei on his head. The man fell down unconscious and Ayush tied him up with rope.
He then dragged him into the bathroom and then poured water on his head. Sergei slowly woke up. Ayush smiled and said, "I am going to ask you a question. If you answer me correctly, I will set you free."
Sergei nodded quickly and then asked Ayush, "What is it?"
Ayush smiled and asked, "What have you stolen?"
Sergei quickly told him the truth. Ayush smiled again and then shot him three times in the head.
He then cut off Sergei's finger and put it into a plastic bag. Ayush climbed out of the window again and then hailed a cab.
He took the next plane out of Moscow and then arrived at Washington Dulles International Airport. He was greeted by Agent Thompson from the CIA.
Thompson quickly took the finger and then shook Ayush's hand. "Great job...," he told him happily.
Ayush quickly drove back to the UK with Roger. They talked about their next mission in the car. He was going to kill an al-Qaeda terrorist named Tariq in Afghanistan.
**The Scorpion**
Ayush sat outside Tariq's house and waited for him to come out. Tariq lived in a small village in rural Afghanistan.
He was an al-Qaeda terrorist who had killed many innocent people in Afghanistan. He had also helped plan the 9/11 attack in the USA.
Ayush had been sent by the FBI to kill Tariq. He had been tracking Tariq for a long time but he had finally found him hiding here.
Ayush got up as Tariq walked out of his house. He ran towards Tariq with his gun in hand. Tariq quickly saw him coming and took out his own gun.
He quickly shot at Ayush but Ayush dodged it quickly. He then shot Tariq three times in his chest. Tariq fell down quickly and Ayush ran towards him.
He kicked away Tariq's gun and then shot him three more times in the head. Ayush then cut off Tariq's finger and put it into his bag.
He quickly looked at Tariq's face and felt sorry for him. Tariq had been a very young man but had chosen the wrong path in his life.
Ayush then took out his lighter and set the house on fire. He then ran back to his car and drove away quickly. He knew that he would be followed by the al-Qaeda terrorists so he had to get away quickly.
Ayush finally arrived at Kabul International Airport and then got into a flight back to the USA. He arrived at Washington Dulles Airport and was greeted by Agent Thompson again.
Thompson smiled in happiness and then took Tariq's finger from Ayush. "Great job Ghost...," he told Ayush.
Ayush quickly flew back to the UK again. Roger was waiting for him at Heathrow again and he got into Roger's car.
They drove to Roger's office again to discuss their next target. Ayush was going back to India this time to kill a corrupt politician. He was a member of the Congress party who had accepted bribes from many businessmen.
**The Tiger**
Ayush waited outside the politician's house in Delhi and then walked up to him as he came out. The politician looked at him and smiled.
"Can I help you?" he asked him.
"Yes...," Ayush replied as he pointed his gun at the politician's head.
The politician was shocked. He tried to run back but Ayush quickly shot him three times in his back. He fell down dead and Ayush cut off his finger.
He put the finger into his pocket and then hailed a cab. Ayush arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport again and then got onto a flight back to London.
He arrived at Heathrow again and was greeted by Roger as usual. Ayush gave him the politician's finger as usual.
"Great job Ghost...," Roger said happily as usual.
Ayush smiled as usual and got into Roger's car again. They drove back to MI6 headquarters again and sat down as usual to talk about their next mission.
Ayush was going to Libya this time to kill Muammar Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam. He had ordered the massacre of many Libyan civilians when they had protested against his father's regime.
**The Cobra**
Ayush walked around Gaddafi's compound in Tripoli and looked for Saif al-Islam's room. He was hiding here in his father's compound to escape the Libyan rebels.
Ayush knew that Gaddafi's compound was heavily guarded by soldiers. He had to be very careful if he wanted to survive.
He quickly found Saif al-Islam sitting in his room drinking wine. Ayush quietly walked inside the room and pointed his gun at Saif al-Islam.
Saif al-Islam quickly looked up in shock. Ayush said, "You have ordered many innocent civilians to be killed. It is time for you to pay now."
Saif al-Islam suddenly smiled and then said, "My father has the best soldiers in the world. You will not escape them."
Ayush smiled again and shot Saif al-Islam three times in the chest. The man quickly fell down dead and Ayush smiled.
He cut off Saif al-Islam finger and put it into his pocket. Ayush quickly walked outside the compound and then hailed a car. He drove away quickly knowing that Gaddafi's soldiers would soon find out about their leader's death.
Ayush drove back to Tripoli airport again and then boarded a flight to Egypt. He changed planes again there and then flew back to London.
Roger greeted him at Heathrow as usual and Ayush gave him Saif al-Islam's finger. "Great job Ghost," he said happily as usual.
They sat down as usual again and talked about their next mission again. Ayush was going to South Africa to kill a drug lord named Nelson who sold drugs all over Africa.
**The Lion**
Ayush walked up to Nelson's house and then stood outside his door. Nelson came out and looked at Ayush.
"Can I help?" he asked Ayush.
"Yes...," Ayush said as he pulled out his gun. "I have been sent to kill you."
Nelson quickly tried to run away but Ayush shot him in the leg. Nelson fell down crying in pain. Ayush walked towards him and then shot him in his head three times.
He cut off Nelson's finger and then put it into his bag. Ayush hailed a cab and drove back to Johannesburg airport again.
He changed planes at Dubai and then drove back to London again. Roger greeted him at Heathrow and then took Nelson's finger from him.
"Great job...," he said happily.
Finally he decided to take some rest and returned to India .
