51. Flying Units
-Dalia’s Perspective-
„What a bother.“
Dalia prepared herself for battle, not that her traps will be nearly useless against the Enemy!
„Lucaros, can it be you grew weaker with Time?“
„Nonsense, the Stone is weird.
It cracks readily but doesn’t transport the Impact by much.”
”Shouldn’t it be good enough that it cracks? Haha!”
”Stupid, when I punch it with my fist, my arm readily sinks into the Stone, leaving a Hole only the Size of my Fist.
If the Impact would be transferred properly, it could create a much wider crater then that.”
”So you are useless in the End? Haha!”
The Conversation is between someone called Hafly, who looks like a so called Harpy, with Wings for arms and Bird legs for human ones.
The other party is called Lucaros, being a Nightmare Bat Vampire.
Some stranger creature, where the Torso and head of a Bat gets replaced by the one of a Human with thick Horns, sharp teeth and weird looking Eyes.
The Body is completely in a dark red, and he a pair of arms, while the Bat wings seem to grow weirdly from his back, as said back resembles an Bat agains.
Lucaros is very muscular and seems to use much of his Mana to strengthen himself.
He could properly lift the one who first entered and fly with him, without slowing down.
Hafly is swift and capable of Wind magic to an uncanny degree, making her a vicious opponent.
Everything here is under my Control, and with that highly resistant against Magic.
Part is also because Hafly’s offensive Magic are fine Wind Cutters, losing all fatality when the Mana gets slightly dispersed.
Her compatibility with my Abilities is Bad, but it goes both ways.
I can’t get a good hit on her and she defends against my attempts to kill her strongly.
My ways of doing it also involve a Lot of Dust, clogging her Lungs.
It’s the best way I can handle if I can throw anything at her and she dodges.
She also interferes with my attempts against Lucaros, but leaving most others unguarded.
Properly from to big expenditures of Mana.
I already managed to kill four, with five other to follow likely.
One is so much weakened that he landed on the ground, escaping most of my tries to cage him.
Another is crippled, lying against the Bullrog, both caged by now and hopefully dying on oxygen deficiency.
The remains six ones are very troublesome.
One is made of Blocks of Metal, crashing like there isn’t a Tomorrow into anything, without getting hurt to much.
I don’t take the same precautions against him like I do with Lucaros, since it will be to devastating.
Another one is a Big Beetle, with red dotted shell and unimaginable ugly face.
Another is a swarm of Mosquitoes, seemingly a hive Mind.
A humanoid, blue-skinned creature can walk in the Air and tries to free the Spider.
Not much I can do at this point besides burying him deeper.
Next is some kind of weird Plant that spins and spines and has a weird mouth, slinging leaves at the Wall.
And then a Dragon.
What can I say, I am currently pretty preoccupied with the Dragon.
A pretty tiny Dragon to be honest, only going the Bullrog up to his hips.
And it’s currently smelting everything in its way, including my control over the Domain.
It has a Flame Breath, inferior to Fire considering Mass damage, but superior focused attacks.
I am ashamed, but I asked Mistress to create Snowflakes for me.
Since it’s technically her domain, I can empower her attacks and hopefully kills some of this nasty Bugs.
Especially the Mosquitoes! I hope she can conjure a whole blizzard just to get rid of them!
They began to drain my Mana ever since they entered, and it itches like going crazy.
How can there be such a nasty creature out there?
At least that was the plan.
It seems Mistress understood that her own attacks are lacking, and asked for cooperation.
I planned on doing the empowering alone, but coordinating with her makes it so much easier.
We currently have on big snowflakes, upon contact exploding into a blizzard and many small ones.
It took as good an Hour to do so, but this People aren’t that fast and I was throughly with my preparations.
On the other side, the Dragon would have made it in another less then half-a hour.
It’s scary, but I could prepare s surprise for them they will never forget!
-Hafly’s Perspective-
“Hey, Lucaros! Be fast you Idiot, my Danger Sense is ticking!”
”Really, from where?”
He begins to smile at the Information, gleefully preparing to face it.
But the next word made him frown.
”From everywhere. It not an attacker but an environmental Hazard.
Consider yourself done when not being prepared.“
”Okay Okay, everyone Retreat!”
No Dungeon Master had any second thoughts after the Command besides being annoyed.
Yeah, they lost some people, but what does it have to do with them?
Or so they would like to say, until a giant snowflake crashed into the doorframe.
A Blizzard was unleashed into the confined, relative small space, at least compared to where Blizzards normally happen.
Everyone instantly began to freeze, even though to an different degree.
Surprisingly, the Mosquitoes were neither dead at the first moment nor the first to freeze completely.
The Metal Blocks began to freeze, and even though it was inorganic and flying through Mana, it could move anymore as soon it was fully freeze.
And it began to spitter into many tiny fragments as it hit the floor.
Now being dead, as far has is race concerns.
Second was the Beetle with ugly Face, not being able to withstand the temperatures.
It wasn’t overcome with first or similar, but it organs gave up at one point.
After that, it too crashed into the ground, but not getting divided into as many small parts as its predecessor.
The Plant isn’t technically dead, but began to sleep.
It wouldn’t do from the cold, but also wouldn’t be able to traverse the door like this.
Hafly gave it a push with Wind, being annoyed how useless it actually was.
The Mosquitoes and the blue-skinned one are mostly fine.
First absorbed any cold-inducing Mana near it, while the Later simply tolerated it.
Neither are in much danger through the Blizzard.
