The rise of the King cobra

Chapter 1: The end and meeting

Alabast Alejandro.

He was an assassin. the best assassin there was. He always entered the targets home and would come out with not a single shot fired.

No wounds on him, and no chase. Many people who hired him asked him on how he killed his targets so easily.

He would answer them with writing. But he would always write the same thing.

"I kill them with snake's venom." Many people are confused on why he would say that, because many scientists could always find the venom, yet he writes again.

"I kill everyone in the house, be it security guards, wives, children and elderly to not call the police" When the police arrive at the scene, they would find everyone dead.

With only a puncture wound on a random part of their body, when operating an otopsy, they would find a burn mark on the the targets hand.

The figure of a king cobra, that's how the assassin's name, King cobra was born.

Years have passed and Alabast was on his death bed, waiting to die. But as he was waiting, a man entered his room with anger, and tears streaming down his face.

The man pointed a gun on Alabast yet he remained calm. The man became enraged and pressed the onto his head, but again he still remained calm.

"How...HOW CAN YOU REMAIN CALM! I HAVE A GUN POINTED AT YOUR HEAD! SO TELL ME WHY YOU ARE CALM?!" Alabast turns his head at the man's direction and smiles.

"Because child, I knew I would die by your hands. I knew that I would not kill everyone in your home, because you were not there at the time." The man's face then crumbles, and he lands on his knee's he begin's to sob in front of him with sadness anger and sorrow.

"So, why, why didn't you kill me when I returned home? Please I wish to know." Alabast then places his hand on the mans head.

"Because I only kill those that are in the home to leave no witnesses, you were not inside so you would not have seen me. That is the reason I let you live." The man then stands up and point's the gun at him once again.

"That is not a reason, that's just an excuse to leave the place like a coward." Shouted the man with anger.

"It may be an excuse to you, but it is a reason for me to do my job and to survive. If you are going to avenge your family, do it now." The man then places the gun of his head and pulled the trigger.

The other side then exploded with blood and brain matter stanning the windows in the process.

"This was for my family." He then places the gun on his head and pulls the trigger, killing himself to join his family.

In the pitch black void of nothingness, is a soul floating and thinking to himself when he will disappear.

He was then pulled towards a certain direction, not knowing where he will end up, he decided to observe where he is going.

After what felt like years of being pulled he saw a small dot of light in the distance. The dot then began to grow and grow, until he saw what looked like a room.

In the room where two chairs and a table. One of the chairs was a old man with a white robe. As he arrived at the table, the second chair made space so that he could sit on the chair.

"We finally meet Alabast Alejandro." Said the man. Two teacups then appeared in front of them with drinks inside, he then makes a bowl of sugar cubes appear in front of Alabast.

"One cube or two?" Alabast then places Two sugar cubes in his drink and takes a sip. He then smiles to show his satisfaction of the drink.

"Thank you for the drink, it has been a long time since I had this, besides injecting myself with every snake venom to be immune from them if anyone tries to poison me." The old man laughs at his response and shakes his hand.

"It's fine, I have been keeping an eye on you ever since you started you career as an assassin after all." Alabast just stares at the man not showing any other emotion than being calm.

"I'm not surprised that you would be keeping an eye on me. So, to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you, god?" The man then smiles and starts to laugh while clapping his hands in amusement.

Alabast on the other hand just stayed silent watching the so called God finish his banter. The God the sighs in satisfaction and returns to the conversation.

"You really are observant, I am impressed! But now is not the time. The reason on why you are here, is because I was entertained on how you lived your life, how you injected every venom known to man, how you killed every person with ease, and how you left with not a single person after you. So I have decided to give you a second chance to live." Alabast calm expression then falls apart and is surprised that he will be getting a second chance to live.

"May I ask why you are giving me a second chance to live?" The God then just smiles and stretches out his hand. On his hand appeared a mechanical snake that made no movements at all.

"Like I said before I was entertained on how you lived your life. So i will send you to the world of Cyberpunk." Alabast then returns to his calm face and starts to search his memories on the world.

After a few minutes he remembered when he was after one of his targets. Two teenagers walked past him mentioning it was a game. He then places his fist into the palm of his hand and finally remembered.

"Ah, now I remember its a game isn't it?" The God nodded his head and handed the snake to Alabast.

"That is correct, before you go I wanted to tell you that this snake will be your companion when you arrive." Before Alabast could ask about his poison, god raised his hand.

"Don't worry, it will have the venom that you created, so no need to worry if you run out." A portal then appeared underneath Alabast, swallowing him.

"I'll explain the rest when you arrive, so farewell and good luck." Before the portal closed, god tossed the mechanicle snake inside.

Once the portal had closed, god chuckled and took a sip of the tea while staring at a transparent screen in front of him.

"Now Alabast Alejandro give me a good show." He said while grinning.
