The Rich Second Generation Villain Fights Back

Chapter 16:

Chapter 16: Even the King of Heaven Can’t Save Him Now!:

A massacre left the Dunhuang Palace club a desolate, blood-soaked ruin.

After Gu Xueming’s final scream ended, only Fatty Xu and Han Yi remained alive. The thick scent of blood filled the air, making Fatty Xu nearly vomit uncontrollably.

Fatty Xu asked with a face filled with fear, “Boss, isn’t this a bit too much? So many people dead, this will shock the entire world!”

Han Yi exhaled a ring of smoke and said, “It won’t! Someone will clean up this mess. Let’s go!”

“Go? Where to?” Fatty Xu was confused.

Han Yi replied irritably, “To class, of course! Did you forget you’re still a student?”

“Oh, right, right. We’re model students, hehe!” Fatty Xu agreed with a wicked smile, and Han Yi started the Maybach, speeding away.

As for the little ghost, Han Yi had already exorcised it.

The bell that sealed it had turned to dust under the exorcism’s light, and the ghost had completely disappeared from this world.

Despite pulling off such a shocking event, Han Yi wasn’t nervous at all.

He nonchalantly drove to Donghai University with Fatty Xu.

Even though they were both wealthy second-generation heirs, they still needed to attend school for appearances’ sake and to earn some credentials.

It seemed that Han Yi became bored and decided to head to school for some fun.

He didn’t worry about the bloody massacre at Dunhuang Palace because he wasn’t concerned about being pursued. Someone would handle the aftermath. He was determined to be a proper villain, killing anyone who displeased him.

Not long after Han Yi left, the massacre site at Dunhuang Palace was discovered. A cleaner, unaware of any closure notice, arrived for work and was horrified by the scene, screaming hysterically.

Ten minutes later.

Numerous police cars arrived with sirens blaring. The city police dispatched their major crimes unit, and all nearby officers surrounded the area.

A series of barriers blocked curious onlookers. When the major crimes officers entered the scene, even the most battle-hardened among them were shocked.

“Who the hell did this? So many dismembered bodies—was there a massacre at Dunhuang Palace?”

“Damn, so many dead. Check the entire club for survivors, quickly!”

“Report to higher-ups immediately. This situation is severe; we need all possible technical support!”

“Damn it, which bastard did this? This is beyond our jurisdiction. Report it to the higher-ups; this is too horrific!”

The major crimes unit members were terrified and talked amongst themselves.

Despite their experience with numerous gruesome crime scenes, they were stunned by the massacre at Dunhuang Palace. When they saw the two bodies in the third-floor office, gnawed to bare bones, everyone retched.

“Maniac, a psychopathic killer!”

“Damn it, how can someone be so insane?”

“Ugh! This is too brutal, too brutal!” The officers exclaimed, shocked. The incident was quickly reported, causing widespread alarm.

The senior officials of Donghai City Police were terrified when they learned of the incident. The city government officials were equally shocked. The news quickly spread through official channels, causing a massive stir.

In the monitoring room of Dunhuang Palace, over ten technicians were urgently trying to recover surveillance footage.

A middle-aged police officer with a stubble-covered face stared intently at the computer screen, his eyes bloodshot.

His name was Zhang Jianguo, captain of the criminal investigation team. He was well-known in Donghai City’s police circles, having solved numerous high-profile cases at just thirty-six years old. He was an elite detective.

Naturally, he was the first to arrive at the Dunhuang Palace massacre scene. However, after examining the scene, he realized it was far from ordinary; it was incredibly bizarre.

“Is the video restored yet?” Zhang Jianguo asked.

“Almost, Captain Zhang! The video files seem to have been tampered with, making it hard to restore.”

“Got it, Captain Zhang, take a look!”

The technicians pressed a key, and the screen showed extensive footage from the Dunhuang Palace’s internal cameras. When they saw a bald man grinning maniacally as he slaughtered everyone, their faces turned pale.

“No way, this can’t be real!”

“My God, did one person do all this? How is that possible?”

“He doesn’t look human; he looks so… creepy!” The officers were in disbelief, and Zhang Jianguo’s face darkened.

A technician reported, “Captain Zhang! Our preliminary analysis shows that all these people were killed by the bald man. After killing everyone, he committed suicide in the third-floor office!”

“We also found footage from the parking lot showing two survivors who stayed outside and then drove away.”

The technician switched the video to show Han Yi and Fatty Xu smoking in a Maybach.

“That’s Han Yi from the Han family?” Zhang Jianguo’s face turned grim. “Han Yi was at the crime scene the whole time. He must be involved. His status is beyond our reach; we need to report this further. Let’s see how the higher-ups handle this. Such a major incident—I want to see how he escapes justice!”

“With so many dead, not even the King of Heaven can save him. He must be brought to justice!” The officers muttered angrily.
