During that, I encountered a level 5 thief. Probably the leader of this thief gang.

I gathered knives from the thieves and hurled them.

I quickly closed the distance and beheaded the thief.

“Don’t underestimate me!”
The thief swung his dagger downward, but I dodged it. Immediately, another knife came at me.
If I make any pointless moves due to the level difference, I’ll be done for quickly.
Ah, damn, if only I could use magic.
I crossed my dual daggers to deflect the attacks.
Another thief who was nearby approached, but…
“You’re trippin’, mate.”
Dodging the attack, I tripped him up. Then I charged into him from the shoulder and sent him flying.
“Ugh!?”
“Darn it!”
When he collided with the thief leader, the leader caught him, perhaps because they were allies.
They’re wide open. I threw a knife and aimed for the leader’s eyes.
“Uwaaa!?”
“Do you have time to scream?”
I swiftly drew the dagger and finished him off by piercing his throat.
At that moment…
“Acquired title [Hero of the Village (S-Rank)]! Gained bonus status points! When engaging in combat in the village area or its surroundings, status and experience points earned will increase. This title can be acquired by only one player.”

“Conditions for job release have been met. The jobs [Assassin] and [Gladiator] have been unlocked. You can change jobs at a nearby job change temple.”
“…Oh, I got another title.”
I’ve obtained various titles so far.
This is the first time I’ve obtained a title that seems to be reflected in my status and such, but it’s convenient.
And to think I got an S-rank title just by clearing the tutorial.
But seriously, there were roughly fifty thieves.
They kept coming out one after another even after I defeated them, and it was incredibly bothersome.
They weren’t just thieves anymore, but one organization.
Anyway, it’s good that the job [Assassin] came out.
Is continuously killing people a requirement? Or perhaps kills in stealth mode.
I’ve killed enemies before they noticed quite a few times, so it’s a relief.
“The tutorial will now end. As a reward, we present you with five HP 10% recovery potions and 50,000 gold.”
Wow, basic items and gold, huh?
Well, they’re not much, but I’m happy.
“Furthermore, you have completed a hidden mission. We will present you with an additional 100,000 gold. Additionally, clear the mission ‘Defeat all thieves.’ Clear the mission ‘Defeat all thieves without taking damage.’ Please choose your reward from below.”
…Seriously? Well, if I can get it, I’ll take it.
I immediately checked the offered items.
Seems like weapons or accessories.
In terms of weapons, they’re probably decent. I’m hesitant because the [Simple Dagger] I’m currently using has no stat effects, but it performs reasonably well.
I don’t know how many more stat points I’ll get in the future, but all the equipment listed here is good.
However, weapons will probably be replaced as I go along.
I’m the type to prioritize weapons over armor.
In that case, it’s better to get the accessories that will be put off later.
I obtained two accessories.
They’re probably both rare items as equipment. I don’t mind, but in games and such, there are people who want to acquire all items, right?

Checking the map, it was labeled as the first town, Antares.
People are logging in one after another like me.
Listening to their voices, I can tell they’re all players. Many voices expressing awe at this world that is almost indistinguishable from reality, but for now, I plan to play alone today, so I head straight to my destination.
First, the Job Change Temple. Then, perhaps I’ll go to some village to make use of the title effects.
