Chapter 48
The response from the community wasn’t just limited to the Bluebird platform; it was explosive.
No, the word “explosive” wasn’t enough to fully describe it.

[Title: The trailer quality is insane, lol]
Honestly, I thought the trailer quality of Girls’ Memorial was insane too.
But that impression changed when I watched the Grand Arc Fantasium trailer.
After watching the Last Arcadia teaser, my mind was blown again, wow.
What is wrong with these guys for making their trailer quality compete like this, lol.

-Now that I think about it, I was also heavily impressed by the trailer before.
-It was no joke, the quality was insane there too.
-Renaissance for obsessive fans.

[Bluebird Ishida Kei Keyword Search Image]
The Japanese community is going wild right now, lol.
She was on hiatus, but suddenly a new song came out as the OST for a mobile game’s trailer that no one had ever heard of.
I saw everyone asking what the situation was, lol.

-The lineup is hilarious, it fills me with pride.
-Who would believe this is a mobile game development team's lineup, lol?
Truly overwhelming reactions and attention.
Especially significant was the casting of Ishida Kei as the vocalist.
Not only gamers but also Ishida Kei's fanbase has been spreading word of mouth.
I can't help but smile at the additional free advertising.

Time quickly passed after the successful trailer release.
The weather moved from mild autumn into the dead of winter,
and our project progressed just as rapidly.
The art team would pass along 3D models and effects, and the development team would apply them to the client,
the planning team would send over UI/UX designs and class balance data, and the development team would apply those to the client,
and once applied, it would enter the QA team’s infinite testing phase.
When the art team sent designs for housing and the open world underground city accommodations, the development team would apply these again to the client.
Like a hamster running in a wheel, the work grind of Reverse Arcadia slowly completed over time.
Much more time passed into February 2015.
It wasn’t until after the Lunar New Year festivities that the beta version of Reverse Arcadia was finally finished.
After a total development period of 25 months.
Compared to Girls' Memorial, which had a relatively simple structure and finished development in a year, Reverse Arcadia’s development took almost twice as long.
Despite having a team nearly 1.5 to 2 times larger than before.
All that remained was to incorporate the feedback from the closed beta and then hold the official launch, but…
The tough road ahead was clear, so I tried to ignore it as I called all the team leaders to the conference room.
Once Yerin, Yena, Yumi, Seol, Taeseon, and Chae-young gathered in the conference room,
I glanced at everyone and carefully asked,
“Who has worked overtime more than four days this week? Raise your hand.”
Two hands rose.
They were Yumi and Taeseon.
“Both of you go home immediately. It feels wrong to make you work any more overtime.”
Yumi and Taeseon, who were about to happily accept, hesitated, looking around then asked me,
“Well, wouldn’t it be better if we stayed with the rest of the team…?”
“It’s fine, go home. We’ll take care of things from here.”
With a smile of gratitude, they left the conference room after offering their thanks, revealing a noticeable change from when they had first started.
“Alright, everyone. You all know that the CBT starts at 2 PM today, right?”
The team nodded in response to my question.
“We need to prepare and write reports until at least dawn, so after doing what you need to do by the end of your shifts, please gather in the conference room with what you need. Got it?”
Understanding, the members said "Yes" and left the conference room. I too returned to the office.
***
After regular hours, I returned to the office after eating a quick meal in the cafeteria alone.
It seemed I wasn’t the only one, as I saw many people eating alone in the cafeteria.
Initially, I didn’t want to share dinners with my team until overtime started.
Looking around the dimly lit studio after most team members had left, I entered my personal office.
‘I was going to bring these over to the conference room….’
I had prepared knee blankets, tumblers, hot packs, and several caffeinated drinks bought from the convenience store to wake up from sleep.
I gathered these items into a shopping bag and carried five laptops over to the conference room.
Originally, Yumi should’ve done this, but since Yumi has already gone home...
With both arms full, I knocked on the conference room door, where Yerin, who had arrived earlier, opened it and took the laptops.
“If you had called me, I could've helped you from the Department Head’s office.”
“It’s fine, it’s not that much.”
Yerin skillfully set up the laptops in the conference room after receiving them from me.
At her seat, Yerin had not only a knee blanket but also a small operator figurine in hand.
“What about the others?”
“Chae-young said she'd come up from the recording studio once she’s done timing things right… Yena said she would be back after a quick trip home. Seol said she'd come up after finishing dinner.”
“I see. Then let’s wait for a bit. Meanwhile, I'll be back with some items from my office.”
“Alright, then.”
With Yerin seemingly uninterested and setting up the conference room, I returned to my office to fetch the prepared items.
“Senior, you really bring so much stuff when you plan to work overtime….”
“The conference room gets a bit chilly late at night. The heater doesn’t seem to help.”
“That’s true. Is it a construction issue? Here’s a hot pack if you need one.”
“No, I’ve already brought some.”
After exchanging a few words with Yerin like this, the team members slowly entered the conference room.
Seeing everyone bring knee blankets, I felt we could be mistaken for a high school.
Once everyone was ready, we briefly exchanged greetings and moved on to the main subject.
“Alright, I’ll assign the websites everyone will monitor. First, Yerin.”
“Yes?”
“You’ll be in charge of the portal sites. We’ll also have news related to our game so focus mainly on those.”
“Ah, understood.”
“Seol and Yena, you two will cover Bluebird. You’ll need to handle both the Korean and Japanese sides. Yena, you’ll cover Korea, and Seol, Japan. Are you okay with that?”
“Yes, yes!”
“I’m good!”
“Chae-young, you’ll handle the domestic fan sites. Seems like focusing on Forest should be good for Korea, while focusing on Recodon Live for Japan would work.”
“Alright~.”
“Great, then get started when you're ready. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.”
And so the monitoring began.
Shortly after, the conference room was filled only with the sound of laptop coolers running and occasional mouse clicks.
‘Alright, then let’s start my part.’
The sites I was responsible for were the Reverse Arcadia Gallery and Girls' Memorial Gallery.
Since it’s the most anonymous and notorious site in our country's community, I decided to handle it myself.
It also couldn’t be helped since everyone else was quite familiar with subculture but not the community culture.
Upon entering the Reverse Arcadia Gallery, I found various posts.
[General] This game is more thought-provoking than expected.
[General] Still, the gacha system isn’t that different from Girls' Memorial?
[Strategy] 6-star character minefields, rights tips...tips
[General] Hilarious Resistance compilations...!
[Strategy] Compilation of all revealed settings so far...zip
[General] Japanese reaction after gacha wipe-out is hilarious, lol.
[General] The quality of 3D modeling, when zoomed in, is insane, wow.
[Strategy] Compilation of current implemented character 3D models' underwear...jpg
The general consensus was largely positive, much like during the Girls’ Memorial days.
Though occasionally, I felt queasy seeing things like the 3D modeling underwear compilation posts.
Caught up in monitoring, I didn’t realize it was already slightly past 9 PM.
“Let’s take a short break?”
