While Roxanne was fighting against the two evil dragons Issei and his friends were getting their asses handed to them by Loki. Although Loki isn't serious he obviously can't let a bunch of kids beat him. That is going his God's honor. Something he would regret not throwing away very soon.
" your actions are pointless you cannot defeat me a God. " Loki said as he proudly looked down on them with a sneer. Although these guys are quite capable for their age they aren't that impressive against a God like him who fights with Thor on a daily basis.
The only ones he was a bit impressed with were the red dragon emperor, the holder of Vritra's sacred gears, and the Valkyrie. Only these three managed to entertain him somewhat. The red dragon uses his martial arts to keep him company while the prison dragon uses his sacred gear to bind him and absorb his power. And to cover the both of them Valkyrie fires off many spells at once.
If we go by the video game theory issei is the knight who takes aggro and tanks the attack, Saji is the shaman who repeatedly casts and Rossweisse is the supporting mage.
" shut up you bastard I will definitely kick your butt " Issei roared as he threw a fist at Loki again. And as usual, Loki side-stepped and dodged his kick perfectly.
Just as he was about to deliver a kick to shut this bastard up he suddenly felt his leg being restricted. He saw that Saji had used his other absorption line to bind Loki's leg.
"Hey Loki can a God survive Black flames " Saji grinned as he activated his second sacred gear. Black flames began to ignite on his body and began traveling through the ropes that were binding Loki.
"You piece of shit " Loki cursed as he saw those black flames coming near him. Even he didn't dare to get close to those flames. Those flames have the same properties as Vitra's dragon flames so no sane person would tank them even if the said dragon is sealed.
Dragon's flames from dragons closer to the level of Dragon King and Heavenly dragons has the ability to harm beings such as Gods. This is also one of the reasons why dragon-sacred gears are quite dangerous. Like Saji if they could command the said dragon's flame then killing a God isn't the realm of imposibility.
Since he couldn't break free from these bindings without hurting Saji too much Loki decided to finaly get a little serious. He knew that Odin would be arriving here anytime with that hammer so he should put an end to this little play.
" you insolent brats let me show the true power of a God " Loki shouted as he released the seal on his body. When Gods go out of their pantheons they usually seal their divinities so as not to attract unwanted attention.
With their divinities sealed Gods usually can use up to 30-40% of their powers. And when Loki released his divinity the world seemed to have been startled as a heavy pressure began descending on them. Lightning began to crackle in the sky which was covered with dense black clouds. Beings with weak minds were almost forced to kneel as Loki's presence grew stronger with each second.
" Lord Loki stop this madness. Releasing your divinities here would be like declaring war on the Underworld. " Rossweisee shouted as she looked worried. Going into another pantheon and releasing their divinity can also be considered a provocation to that pantheon.
"Heh " Loki sneered as he said, "Why should I stop when that is already my intention. We shall achieve Ragnarok one way or another haha haha " he began to laugh loudly like a third-rate villain from a cheap fantasy novel.
" Damn that bastard " Issei gritted his teeth as he glared at Loki. This bastard only wants war. " I won't let you do as you please" Issei shouted as he rushed towards Loki again.
His sacred gear due to his heightened emotions began to respond to him while saying, " Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost …"
" Arrgg take this Drago Nova " Issei shouted as he converted all his energy into a beam and fired it straight at Loki.
" You insolent brat let me wake you up to reality," Loki said as he fired his own magic cannon at Issei.
There was no struggle as Loki's magic spell destroyed Issei's magic cannon in a matter of seconds. It didn't stop there as it went straight towards Issei. With Loki unlocking his divinities his magic attacks also receive a massive boost.
"Issei "Rias, Akeno, and Koneko screamed as they saw the magic blast heading towards Issei at an alarming speed. They all wanted to go and help but their opponent is too strong for them to have that luxury.
Issei had no time to dodge as Loki's attack came near him in a flash. Bracing for impact he crossed his arms so he could tank the attack. He waited but the said attack didn't arrive. He only felt the air hit his face as he found himself being thrown away. Looking back he saw it was Roxanne who threw him away from the attack.
"Watch out Roxanne " Issei wanted to say this but he suddenly collided with a big rock and had to roll himself away to avoid being buried alive.
* Boooom *
A huge explosion happened as Loki's attack finaly detonated. A huge dust cloud appeared and covered everyone's vision.
'Oh shit I'm dead ' Loki thought as he finaly came back to his senses. What the hell was he thinking when firing that spell that is influenced by his divinities? He might have killed that kid if Roxanne hadn't saved him at the last moment.
But Loki couldn't breathe a sigh of relief yet. He knew that he might be in for a beating. He knew how much Roxanne valued her friends. And with his almost killing one, she would be pissed at him.
As he anxiously waited the smoke dispersed and Roxanne was finaly revealed. In her hands were the twin swords that had cracks all over. These swords were made to slay dragons so when taking an attack from a God their resistance is just so so. Her purple dress was damaged as she had to bear some of the aftermath.
" *cough * now you have done it "Roxanne mumbled as she began to dust herself while storing away the two blades. She would reinforce them later.
She then looked at Loki with a sweet smile and said, "Hey Loki you were saying how impressive a God was right? Well here is the thing I just happened to be a God Slayer "A dense killing intent began to burst out of Roxanne.
The ground cracked and red lightning began to dance in the sky. Everyone began to have difficulty breathing as Roxanne's pressure weighed heavily on them. Even the three wolves had to stop in their tracks as they looked at Roxanne with fear.
Although all of them are God Slaying beings Roxanne seems to be their apex predator. They silently gave their father/grandfather a single prayer as he may need it.
" So Loki care to have this dance with me, " Roxanne said as her smile began to turn into a bloodthirsty one similar to her master when she found an interesting prey.
