Chapter 39: 39. The Birth of An Asura
Hello, this is my first time writing a fanfiction. If you notice any errors, please feel free to give me constructive feedback. English is not my first language, so if you notice any mistakes, please mention them in the comment section at the end of the chapter. Let's begin the story!
Word Count: 2880 Words
Note: Just a reminder that I've changed the Guild Auxiliary chapter. I've made some changes to it. I've removed a couple of NPCs and added a few.
Due to my college work, I was unable to upload the chapter sooner so I've made this chapter longer. Increased the word count.

"I am The Fool."
Bruce stating his name, transformed.
---
Yaru/?!? PoV
"I am The Fool!"
Yaru heard it, he was ready to get a glimpse of the True Deity. From what he had heard of from The Fool in the past. He treated The Root as something ordinary. He spoke of it as one would speak about rocks and trees. Or a Magus would speak of the basic spells or skills like Mana control.
So, it was shocking for him to see The Fool, who was in what he had assumed to be his True Form. Seeing Cath Palug's reaction had instilled that about him. For The Fool to transform into a Dragon shocked him.
Also, he couldn't forget what he had heard a couple of minutes earlier.
He spoke of his magic circle to be of foreign origin. Something that did not originate from the Root. So, by default, the knowledge he was bestowed by The Fool was also foreign to The Root.
He was excited to see the truth of the Fool.
He at first had assumed The Fool to be a True Deity, A Supreme God. But now, he wasn't sure. He could only reach one conclusion now.
'He is someone from outside the Root.'
He watched as the Dragon stared down at him. He was attentive to not miss a single word from him.
"I am the Void and the End."
He waited with the bathed breaths.
"I am the Beast and the Monarch of the Infinite Expanse of Space-time. I am the Calamity and Personification of Destruction."
He watched as a Giant replaced the Dragon.
"I am a Titan. Who wields infinite strength and power."
From the Titan to Human.
"I am a Mortal Being. A sorcerer or a Magi who has gazed into the Abyss. He who holds all the magic in the World."
He was so mesmerised by the Forms that he saw him change his form again.
It was of a Monstrous Creature now.
"I am The Demon, who represents all the Evil."
Yaru watched as the Demon turned into a tree.
"I am Life."
To turn into a Skeleton.
"I am also Death."
He watched the skeleton disappear from his vision to appear in front of him in a humanoid form. The form that had allowed him to gaze into the worms. The form that looked human was anything but that.
He watched the Fool, place his hand on his head.
"You are bound by unnecessary worries. Get a fresh start with this. Be born anew with this magic. From henceforth you will be born anew as the Asura, Zarios."
Yaru, now Zarios, embraced the name as he contemplated the truth of the Fool. Bruce watched as the Mana kept gathering. And there were no signs of it stopping any time soon. He watches the confused look on Zarios, answered him. He spoke as he observed the portal from the corner of his eyes.
"There is nothing for you to think about.
Just know this, I don't grace others with my presence."
'Not like I can face all those powerhouses all alone.
"Remember it, I won't repeat myself."
"The Fool of Infinite Dreams, Weaver of Fate and Time, Sovereign of The Stars and Lord of Cosmic Dread.
Master of The Supreme Ones, And the Ruler of the Primordial Chaotic Void.
The Lord of Everything, And the King of Nothing."
It was common to all the residents of the Nasuverse. For they had the same understanding of The Root. Something that is the origin, container and End of everything. It is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent existence. For them, for someone to be from outside the realm of The Root, to be unbound and from Outside the Root.
Only meant the Being to be also higher Entity than the Root itself. A stronger being than the Root.
They were blinded by the perspective, though it would have not been as such. Bruce had The ROB's Suit to thank for this misunderstanding.
Bruce turned leaving Zarios to think about it. When he had an idea.
"Right, before I leave. Here's a present from me to you for successfully developing magic and succeeding in it."
Bruce stated it, and he raised his hand. In it, he held the fang of the wolf. Zarios, surprised, looked to his side to find it missing. It was something The Fool had given Zarios or Yaru as a memento. Hoping it would quench his anger towards the Wolf. And the villagers for trying to sacrifice him.
Bruce had never imagined he would use the fang for this.
Waving his arm, he cast the 8th-tier spell.
{Spell, Resurrection}
The Wolf god, having been resurrected, looked around. As it spotted The Fool, it howled angry at its attacker. Ready to pounce on his enemy.
Bruce not in the mood, cast the 9th-tier spell, Frozen Prison.
{Spell, Frozen Prison}
An ice cage encased the Wolf. Trapping it inside an ice block. Wolf angry at the cage, kept on attacking it to fail. Having Resurrected it using the beginner resurrection spell, Totem Wolf was not in his prime.
It struggled leaving any dent on the prison.
---
Bruce, not waiting for a response from Zarios, leaving Tower, walked inside the portal.
"What was I thinking back then? This lore writing was no good. How could I have spoken as someone with chunnibyou? It was cringe."
Bruce, while floating through the tunnel of what could be a hole through space-time, admonished himself.
"Though it is cringe-worthy it should be good enough for an Honorific Name. If I were to have an Honorific Name, it would be it. That should do it. And if I meet him again. Hope he doesn't forget his devotion towards me. But seeing his dedication and spirit I doubt he would do anything to go against me."
Bruce, as he got adjusted to travelling in the tunnel, experienced a pull. When a tear through space-time in the tunnel created a hole suckling him in it.
When he opened his eyes, he warily opened them. Hoping for it not to be some other shit hole.
"Enough is enough." There was also the hole, something he didn't expect to appear.
As luck would have it when he opened his eyes. He found himself standing in front of the Matou Mansion.
"Back to the present from the past."
Bruce opened the gate, hoping to walk inside, when he heard a shriek. He turned around to notice the portal still open. Its size shrinking, just before it could disappear.
He saw as a small ball of white fur, fell through it. Extending his hands he caught it.
'I had imagined him to have come with me or was stuck with me by force. And not by his violation. So, for him to come through the portal by his violation should mean something. Does this mean, he accepts me?'
Happy at the Tower's presence, Bruce pets the Tower, walking inside the Mansion. Before he walked inside, he made sure to stay till the portal closed.
---
Back in the desolate land, Zarios felt the burning sensation from his heart.
He accepted the magic take effort. Unbeknownst to Bruce, the presence of Totem Wolf in front of them served as a great motivator for Zarios to succeed.
The magic circle having its job, disappeared. Now, all that was left was the body to reconfigure.
The matter in his body started breaking down.
Zarios endured the pain, staring down at the Wolf.
The Totem Wolf, or what they had called as Drostala, back in the village, quivered back, sensing the dangerous amount of Mana accumulating in his body.
Zarios afraid of losing his chance at revenge, stood up. Though it hurt him just to stay seated. He was treading in the realm of impossible, enduring the pain. He with difficulty, walked a few steps.
Just when his legs gave out. Zarios, for the first time, trusted his gut. Letting his body take over.
He let his body move on its own accord.
Like a master swordsman would swing a Sword. He for the first time in his life, gathered mana in his arms. The gathering of mana and destruction of his arm to fasten up. Yet he endured it.
Like a professional, he fluently shot the mana in the form of a Golden Flame Orb towards The Wolf trapped in the cage.
The fluency of his actions was as if he had been doing this his whole life.
Striking the Wolf, his body gave out. But just before he lost consciousness, he saw the Wolf burn to ashes.
Hanging on to the thread, he chanted the Name of the Fool.
Afraid of Death, after having his hopes up. He made himself a promise to become a devotee of the Fool if he survived the Magic.
The Golden Flame in his Heart, unlike the one used on the Wolf, didn't die out. It spread to his whole body as it engulfed his very existence.
It was very late by then, the mana released by his body was enough to attract all the powerhouses of the World.
They were truly late.
The flame expanded, as the explosion rocked the whole world. Destroying the parallel verse altogether.
It is debatable if Zarios was lucky or not. In the end, he survived. The World Destroyer created by Bruce had achieved its purpose. Destruction of the World but with Zarios being an anomaly during its end.
It achieved what Bruce had hoped for it to become. With the world's destruction and it's the concept of being a weapon to bring an end to the World, it had achieved its purpose.
It had accepted its offering.
With the Death of a World, the heart of Zarios was forged with it. The World Destroyer, now after being affected by the Magic, had taken the form of a heart. Was now successful in gaining the status of World Item.
Had Bruce seen this, he would have lost his mind.
The heart, now World Item after completion of the Magic, entered its last stage.
Reconstructing the body of Zarios from the heart.
---
Zarios opened his eyes, finding himself back in the Void. He cursed himself, thinking of reasons as to how he could have ended up here.
He did not know Magic, except for a few he had seen the Fool perform and ones he had read in the books of the Fool.
Stranded in the Void, helpless. Zarios thought of using Gate to get out of here.
{Spell, Gate}
Only for the spell to fail to activate. He knew not of why the spell failed. Oblivious to his situation, he stayed in the Void. Thinking of ways to get out of here.
And so what could have been like an eternity In the Void where space and time didn't seem to exist? Zarios spent his days working on his magic.
It continued till he could. He had thought of giving up and had even tried committing suicide.
It had all been for nought. His heart was indestructible and it would end up healing him, irrespective of his tries.
Just when he thought of giving up and calling for help. He used what he had been hesitant to use. He spoke the words that were engraved in his brain. It was as if, The Fool had spoken of it a couple of minutes prior.
"The Fool of Infinite Dreams, Weaver of Fate and Time, Sovereign of The Stars and Lord of Cosmic Dread.
Master of The Supreme Ones, And the Ruler of the Primordial Chaotic Void.
The Lord of Everything, And the King of Nothing. "
He was hesitant to use it. He couldn't call the Supreme Being for something as trivial as this. He was ashamed of himself.
He waited after calling out the Honorific Name or The Fool but received no response. He was on the verge of giving up. When he noticed a Sword slice through the Void.
"I take it you are Zarios?"
Zarios confused by the talking sword, answered him nervously. Despite possessing such strength he felt the incredible power of the Sword. It held the strength to end.
"I am and you are?"
The Sword took a serious tone, as it answered him.
"I am Error, the Sword of Blasphemy and the eternal servant of The Fool."

New World
Unlike Bruce, World was not having the best of times. The world could be seen standing on the steps leading to the Throne of The Fool on the Floor, Arcadia.
With the Floor Guardians of every floor up to Arcadia lining up on both sides of the Throne Room. The tension was so high in the Throne Room that you could cut it with a knife.
All the Guardians had gathered at the Throne Room for one reason alone. To meet the Supreme One but only to find him missing. They directed their gaze at the Ruler of the Floor Arcadia, World. Not afraid of her power on the floor, demanding answers.
It only ended up with her flaring her Mana, to shut the occupants of the room.
The oppressive Mana of the World Devourer that had entered the Guild chasing Bruce. The world was left with no other choice but to take control of it again.
She had seen Bruce enter the Guild. So, she was at least happy about it.
But it was right at that moment that the Game ended. Causing the World Devourer Character to merge with her NPC/Player Account Character.
She had transitioned from being an NPC/Player built with Longinus World Item to a World Enemy.
She, in her humanoid form, stood in the hall. The oppressive Mana and Aura of the World Devourer did its job.
All the Floor Guardians turned their heads away, refusing to look at her. Though they were all grumpy about it.
They all shared a single thought, 'Is this the true power of Grandmother?'
Had World heard it, she would have chased them all to the Ends of Earth.
Disturbing the silence of the hall, and drawing the attention of everyone present. The Shadow Lord, the highest version of Arch or Shadow Demons rose through the Darkness of the Hall.
Having the gaze of so many Powerful Beings made even the Shadow Lord, a being of level 95 quiver under intense pressure. It was lucky there were a few Floor Guardians who were not present in the Hall.
It had taken a lot of courage to even make an appearance in the Throne Room. It spoke volumes of the difficulty it was having to make its report.
It was difficult to utter a single syllable under these circumstances.
Yet, it endured for its loyalty to its summoner. The Ruler of Shadows.
Upon receiving the signal from World, it gave its report.
It had been sent by the World to check the surroundings. The current state.
Upon learning of the situation, World concluded that they had been swept up in the past. Before the Greed Kings or The Six Gods made an appearance in this World.
She readied herself for any challenge she might face while trying to keep the canon intact. She couldn't mess it up before Bruce returned. Though there was no way of knowing whether he would return. But she knew it in her heart that he would.
She had a rough idea as to where he could be. Though she did not know the specifics from them going all out creating their Guild had caused a problem with their transmission.
According to the condition set by the ROB, Bruce was thrown out to some random verse. She would have been worried sick for his safety if not for the ROB's suit.
Still, she was worried for his safety.
It tolled away at her heart so much so that, she had been going about her life all this time without rest, food and water.
Though unbeknownst to her, it wasn't just him that got stranded in unknown territory. They had also faced a hiccup in their ride.
They had mysteriously, ROB's courtesy or his rules had caused Bruce to teleport to a random verse, and they had transmigrated 1000 years back or 500 years before Six Great Gods.
