The omnipotent wanderers

Chapter 8: The Clash continues

Rakas emerged from the molten crater unharmed, his body glowing as the lava dripped from his body as he rose from a sea of it, steam rising from his dark skin. The heat seemed to fuel him. Rakas laughed hard at Raa's attempt to defeat him. His laughter echoed like thunder across the battlefield.

Rakas: "Do you not see, you weakling? You have no power over me. This is my realm, my world now. Your world will burn, and I will rise from its ashes as its eternal ruler!! "

Rakas screamed with excitement

Raa's eyes burned brighter, the folds of his forehead dancing in his rage boiling over. His body started shivering in energy, his fury knew no bounds. He had never felt such rage flowing through him. Never before. He clasped his hands together and muttered something under his breath. The air around him shifted, growing dense with energy. A vortex of light formed in his palms, growing larger and larger until it became a sphere pulsating with raw power.

Raa: "You thrive on destruction Rakas, but let's see how you fare against creation itself!! "

Raa screamed as he pushed that orb of raw power towards Rakas.

With a deafening roar, Raa hurled the sphere at Rakas. The energy orb expanded as it traveled at mind-blowing speed, swallowing everything in its path—ships, soldiers, even the land itself—disintegrating them into nothingness. Rakas braced himself, his arms crossed in front of his body. The orb collided with him, erupting into a blinding explosion that illuminated the entire battlefield. For a moment, everything was silent. The suns of Helon a speck compared to the light and energy emitted by the explosion.

When the light faded, Rakas was on one knee, his body charred and smoking. But he was still grinning.

Rakas: "That was impressive for a weakling of a weak world. But you forget, I ruled an entire realm. Surely you dont think that a small torch would defeat me."

He raised his arms, and the charred ground beneath him cracked open. A portal opened in front of Rakas and from the depths emerged massive beasts, their eyes glowing with malevolent energy. These were the Titans of the Underworld.

The titans let out roars that shook the skies, their massive forms dwarfing even the largest of Raa and Bira's warships. The battlefield descended into chaos as the titans tore through the armies of Helon, their every step leaving craters on the lands of Helon.

Bira saw it all unfolding as he continued helping the armies of his world take on the shadows of the Underworld. Bira was unstoppable. His serrated blade, now fully charged with cosmic energy, hummed with power. He leaped into the air and landed on the back of one of the Titans who came out of the portals Rakas created. He took the blade in his hand plunging his blade deep into its spine. The titan roared in agony, moving wildly, but Bira held on. With a mighty move of his hands, he pushed his blade upward, splitting the head of the titan in two. The massive beast crumbled into a heap of ash. Obliterated as soon as it came out. But there were still many more to contend with.

The Titans of the Underworld now focusing on Bira. Bira a dwarf compared to their size. Bira was standing on the ashes of a Titan he had just obliterated, looking up at others. Other Titans looking malevolently at a dwarf that Bira was. Suddenly a Titan moved his leg, Bira thinking it could not reach the distance between him and the Titan. He thought what an unnecessary move it was. But as the Titan was swinging his leg a portal opened in front of it and another one appeared right in front of Bira. It was so sudden that Bira had no time to act. The massive kick traveled through portals, and hit Bira so hard he went crashing into mountains on Helon.

Rakas was grinning at a distance, his hands up in the air, his index finger up and moving round. He was the one who created the portal. The Titans of the Underworld half puppet in his hands. He could control their moves when he wanted.

Raa seeing Bira crash like a small toy was furious. He came flying at hypersonic speeds towards Rakas. Rakas now focused on Raa. The titans were left free to devastate everything they came across. The skies above Helon turned dark as the two beings unleashed their full power. Bolts of energy, bright as stars, shot across the battlefield.
