"Fuck!" - Daigo was stunned as Kasuga's second batter made perfect contact, sending the ball in a line toward center field. Daigo watched the batter sprinting toward first base, a feeling of guilt welling up inside him.

At the same time, as soon as the ball was hit, Shun turned to follow its trajectory, but what he saw was even more surprising. Kenta reacted instantly to the hit and quickly moved to the best spot possible to jump for the ball. Although he wasn't very tall, his quick reaction and perfect positioning gave him a chance.

Kenta leaped as high as he could, extending his glove arm into the air, trying to prevent the ball from reaching the outfield. He then felt the ball graze the top of his glove, and without hesitation, he grabbed it.

"Damn!" - Kasuga's second batter cursed in frustration as he stopped running and returned to the dugout. Along with him, a collective sigh could be heard from Kasuga's fans and players. They had been excited by the hit, but Kenta's great play deflated their momentum, leaving them with two outs in the inning.
