Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The beautiful but deadly teacher
The next morning, Joe found himself summoned to the Grand Tower of Eldoria's Magic Academy. He hadn't even had time to process his "achievement" before being thrown into the limelight. As he walked into the vast training hall, he was greeted by a sight that made his stomach drop.
A woman stood at the center of the room, her long silver hair flowing like silk, her piercing violet eyes locked onto him. She wore an elegant black mage's robe that clung just enough to emphasize her graceful form. The air around her crackled with raw mana.
(Joe gulped)
This was Professor Celestia Vaelthorne, the youngest and most powerful battle mage in the academy. Tales of her exploits were legendary—entire battlefields incinerated with a flick of her hand, monsters fleeing at the mere mention of her name. And now, she was his personal mentor.
"You are Joe Hoeyol?" she asked, her voice smooth but commanding.
Joe wanted to say, I think there's been a mistake! but instead, he nodded hesitantly.
Her gaze sharpened. "The archmages believe you are Eldoria's greatest prodigy. I do not accept rumors—I require proof."
Joe paled. Proof?!
Before he could respond, she raised her hand. The temperature in the room shifted. A crackling inferno exploded from her palm, shaping into a massive dragon made of pure flame. It roared, shaking the walls.
"This is a basic technique I teach my elite students," she said coolly. "Replicate it."
Joe's soul left his body.
