The Magic Merchant in Fairy Tail

The members of Fairy Tail were never ones to shy away from repaying their debts, whether monetary or moral.

Kira's shouting had the intended effect. Smiles reappeared on weary faces, and hope reignited in their eyes. The thought of unpaid dues stirred something fierce in their spirits.

These guys really have a conscience after all, Kira thought, relieved. Perhaps now Cana, who owed the most, would work diligently to clear her debt once they returned. Of course, Gildarts being her father meant that repayment wouldn't be much of a problem... or so Kira thought until he remembered Gildarts hadn't had an income in three years.

"Kira's right. Don't give up hope!"

"Gildarts?"

Kira looked at the older man in surprise as he sat up despite his grievous injuries. Truly, this man was worthy of being called the guild's strength ceiling.

With injuries of that magnitude, even after Kira's healing magic, Gildarts shouldn't have been able to stand. The fact that he was speaking now was a testament to his sheer willpower.

"From Acnologia's arrival to now, less than 10 minutes have passed," Kira thought grimly. "Four attacks, and the only ones still capable of fighting are Natsu and me. And Natsu is barely holding it together."

But then, Kira looked at the faint dragon scales on Natsu's face. It hit him—Natsu had awakened the Dragon Force.

Unexpected, yes, but entirely plausible.

In the original timeline, Natsu's first awakening occurred during the Tower of Paradise arc when he consumed Jellal's Ethereon. His second awakening was against Zero during the Oración Seis mission. Now, after absorbing the collective magic of six people, Natsu had again crossed into Dragon Force territory.

Kira sighed. "Looks like I'll have to use that plan after all."

"What plan?" Gildarts asked, his voice heavy with exhaustion but tinged with curiosity.

Kira didn't answer verbally. Instead, he extended his right hand and activated Telepathic Magic, silently transmitting his strategy to everyone.

Upon receiving Kira's telepathic message, everyone's expressions shifted.

"What?!"

"This is..."

"Will it even work?"

"It's worth a shot," Erza said resolutely, tightening her grip on her weapon.

"Let's go!" Natsu roared, his fiery determination blazing as he charged toward Acnologia.

Natsu, clad in the fiery power of Dragon Force, launched himself forward.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

"Fire Dragon's Claw!"

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!"

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Natsu's relentless assault drew Acnologia's attention, forcing it to engage with the ferocious Dragon Slayer. Though his attacks didn't cause significant damage, they succeeded in delaying the dragon.

Meanwhile, Erza provided cover fire with her arsenal of weapons, bombarding Acnologia with everything she had to create openings for Natsu.

Elfman, Lucy, Loki, and Cana worked together to escort the injured Gildarts and the unconscious Poole to safety. Kira handed Cana a card containing the Fairy Airship No. 1, his backup escape vessel.

"Take this and get out of here as soon as you can."

Cana nodded, her grip on the card firm as she helped the others retreat.

The real centerpiece of Kira's plan came next. He turned to his two partners for this critical step.

On his left stood Gray, his upper body bare as usual, his ice-shaping magic ready to be unleashed.

On his right stood Winter, now fully merged with the souls of the Black and White Goddesses. Her half-black, half-white hair shimmered with divine magic, and her presence was both sacred and chilling.

Before them lay the inert body of the Ice Demon King, now just a shell filled with magic power.

"Ready?" Kira asked.

Both nodded. "Ready!"

Kira extended his hands, activating Word Magic: Borrowing Others' Magic.

"Analysis... transmission... transformation... reconstruction..."

Three glowing magic circles—one black, one white, and one blue—appeared in the air, forming an inverted triangle. The circles connected, their combined power forming a massive glyph that pulsed with energy.

Gray's Ice-Shaping Magic served as the foundation. Winter's God-Slaying Magic amplified it. Kira's Word Magic acted as the conduit, blending the magics seamlessly. The dormant Ice Demon King provided a nearly infinite source of power.

The result: a spell of unprecedented magnitude.

Kira began to chant, his voice resonating with power:

"The word is law, the oracle is clear. Ice, the civilization of form. The creation of the wise, the prayer of believers. The mountains beneath your feet are wheels, the snow before your eyes is a cage, and the words in your mind are chains!"

"Ice God-Shaped Magic: Dragon-Locking Chariot!"

The spell's activation sent tremors through the mountains. Ice and snow twisted and shifted, forming an enormous chariot made entirely of black ice.

Chains of ice, reinforced with attributes like Hardness, Freeze, and Stun, wrapped around Acnologia's body, binding its wings, claws, and tail. The dragon's massive form was trapped in a multi-layered cage of ice.

The centerpiece was the chariot itself, as tall as a mountain, equipped with massive wheels designed to carry even Acnologia's immense weight.

"Now! Move!"

While the ice chariot held Acnologia in place, the others made their escape. Happy carried Natsu, while Erza, clad in her Black Wing Armor, took to the skies.

Kira spread a pair of wings conjured by his remaining magic and carried Gray and Winter toward the Fairy Airship No. 1. They landed just as the airship roared to life, lifting off with everyone safely aboard.

As the airship sped away, Kira glanced back at the battlefield. Acnologia was still encased in the ice chariot, but he knew it wouldn't last long.

The black dragon was already stirring, its rage palpable even from a distance.

"It's not over yet," Kira muttered, his exhaustion evident but his resolve unshaken.

"We'll fight again, and next time, we'll be stronger."

As the airship soared into the night sky, the battered members of Fairy Tail shared a moment of quiet relief. They had survived.
