Chapter 11
Thankfully Barghest for all that she had enlightened intelligence and above the average level of intelligence. She was still pure of mind and didn't have any reason to doubt my prior words about my light creation being a gift from the Emperor.
Either way, we quickly made our way back to our hab tower in the cover of shadows with us avoiding the ant's nest we kicked up with the nuke I set off.
'Alright... I have crafting knowledge downloaded into my brain for damn near anything I want as I can almost download the blueprints for what I want.' I thought as I relaxed into a padded chair as I considered things.
All the while, even as I went into thinking mode. Barghest ate some food and then with a loud thudding noise, she went directly to sleep as she curled around my chair possessively with her massive form as she was tired after fighting off heretics while I was unconscious.
I smiled gently seeing and hearing Barghest's large form sleeping as her tall form sought to be around me and as her hand seemingly sought out my hand as I leaned low in my chair I decided to leave my chair, move the chair, and then I sat down with my back going into Bhargest's firm stomach.
The blond giantess with too great of a heart that was no different from a Golden Retriever giggled happily feeling my warmth agaisnt her before her breathes deepened and relaxed as I likewise did the same but still was considering things.
'Alright, so I have crafting knowledge being my cheat, which will allow me to craft stuff that will give me special abilities... But I have zero idea on how to actually use the abilities I give myself. So that acts a barrier as many special abilities can take years of training before they can reach their full potential.' I thought as my lips twitched as Barghest's utterly massive beasts pushed into my side she snorted and rolled around me so I was tucked into her more firmly.
With my free side that wasn't squished by the overly affectionate superhuman, I couldn't exactly call Bharghest an Ogryn anymore. I formed some pure light in my hands that glowed a gentle colorless white.
'Ok so in Destiny the classic elements are Arc in lightning, Void, as in space and gravity, and lastly Solar which is heat... I only played base Destiny so I don't know that other weird elemental stuff that came out in Destiny two as it was crap compared to the first.'
Honestly, I didn't know... Anything really about Light training as Destiny was a looter shooter of a game, and such world-building wasn't on their agenda so I was left to try to figure out everything on my own. But I did know the Light was a much safer fantastical energy source to be experimenting around with compared to many other kinds.
Not at all like getting Naruto Chakra, and I end up drowning as I try to use a water jutsu and just fucking flood my lungs with water...
I twisted the light in my hands as I experimented with what made it tick and it didn't take me long to realize that the Light responded to mental prodding along with a certain mindset. Which made sense as a mindset and what type of person you were. Would determine what type of Guardian you were.
A Warlock was more of a scholar and free thinker with their powers being more absolute in power. A Titan's light was their stubbornness making the light infuse their bodies with great power along with allowing them to chug down glue and paste. A Hunter's light was a reflection of their desire for freedom of movement and living life to its fullest.
'I am not a glue eater, so being a titan is a no-no... Plus let's be honest, the other classes are better anyway.' I thought as I imagined the sun of Sol back on Earth shining onto me.
And I smiled as my light-tinged blue before crackling as I mentally worked at snapping the light around under my control.
"Mhhh, sleepy time boss... No playing with the sparkies." Barghest tiredly complained making me smile wryly and after a moment I closed my hands with the Arc energies dissipating as I took a breath and just laid down beside Bharghest with her arm quickly pulling me into her massive chest as she returned back to sleep with the skill only someone living in a hellhole all their life could do.
And as I relaxed agaisnt Barghest I felt true sleep calling me into their embrace. With my vision tinging purple as I fell into a deep sleep while wrapped up in the soft warmth emanating from Barghest's large form.

'Something is off.' I thought as I was working on my computer... The icons in the computer were off in place, the computer itself was dull and almost dim. The sounds outside the hab tower were all but null without the sounds of distant gunfire and the seemingly endless hoards of groaning Poxwalkers walking through the streets.
But I kept working as I wanted to make a more powerful weapon in case I ran into more higher-end monsters in Chaos Spawn, Nurgle blessed Ogryns, and the like.
"Boss, I got some stuff for the printers," Barghest spoke as she opened the door and then I gave a grunt of acknowledgment but then Barghest continued. "Also boss... Uhm I found this nice priest lady and brought her home!"
I stilled and my head slowly turned to the side and I looked at the customary silver hair of a fucking sister of battle being carried by the superhuman who was all but fucking nude with scars covering her unconscious body as Barghest happily told me. "The lady was screaming for the Emperor and crying as she used her broken chain sword to kill the nasty Poxwalkers and I know you said we need to be careful... But she is a true believer of the Emperor so we need to help her Boss!"
