Chapter 45
Five minutes ago.
"Ok, can you tell me 'how' we are going to Akohama jungle? It's like six hundred miles away." Asked Atlas.
"Patience junior, trust your senior, and just follow me."
"....ok, 'senior'"
They walked to the adventurer's weaponry, which was near the main building, which took only two or three minutes to reach. Even though they were going the exact opposite direction of the Akohama jungle, he didn't bicker or say anything and just followed her. He wanted to know, how in hell, both of them would reach that far away.
'Only thing, I can think of is teleportation, which is likely impossible through a person, but an item? Maybe? I don't know much about this world as I think I do, if there are such items I would really be happy to investigate on it.'
They walked near the room watched over by two fully armored guards. When the guards saw Ms. Alina coming near them, they didn't say anything and just opened the door for her. Atlas only followed behind, both the guards not realizing that someone entering right in front of their eyes.
When they finally entered closing the door behind. Alina started turning and touching some weapons.
"Nice concealing technique you have there and with that mask on. You must be just invisible to everyone."
"Ya, but it doesn't seem to work on my senior though."
"haha...Well, it's cause you take all my attention 'junior'. It's hard to 'not' feel your presence when you are close enough."
Alina turned the last ax which had wings like decoration down and showed her arm near it. Suddenly her hand started to shine silver and the same mark on her chest appeared on her arm.
"Come on hurry, grab my hand," Alina said.
Atlas quickly took her hand with his and the silver light covered them whole becoming smaller and smaller like it was eating away their body.
"What is happening?" Atlas asked, looking at his hand and legs vanishing through his own eyes.
"We are going to the 'Alibion' space, then to Akohama."
"what? Alibion also has its own space?"
"yaa, pretty sweet ri…."
Before them both could talk, they were already gone, transported to the hidden Alibion space.
Right when they were gone, a cute blond girl appeared inside, wearing the usual green uniform, who looked around like she was searching for someone.
"What the fuck??!! Didn't they just enter?" said the blond girl.
.
.
.
.
"ri…ght.." said Alina.
Atlas touched his body, looking down, watching his body slowly appearing from the silver light. When he fully appeared, he calmed down seeing all his body parts intact.
"well, that was a weird experience.."
"you will get used to it, look around."
Atlas looked in front and gradually looked up in awe, his mouth wide opened with disbelief and amazement written all over his face. Alina wanted to look at his reaction but, the mask covered it all, making her a bit disappointed.
"Are you surprised?" asked Alina in curiosity.
"Very…Very…much." Atlas said in slow motion.
He turned his head and looked around and gazed upon the ostentatious view. He thought that after looking at the "ATC" storage space, he wouldn't be too surprised but here he was, again, proved wrong. Standing here within the "Alibion" space, looking at the many gateways, doors, circular portals hanging on the empty starry dark space. It was indeed wonderful.
All of them were properly aligned in a circular formation, one door on top of another. Some closed, some opened. Each entrance different in shape than another and both Atlas and Alina weren't alone, others were also there, continuously going in and out from their entries, all of them floating to their desired entrance. It was really a marvelous sight to behold.
And every man and woman he saw here, bristled his bloodline, warning him that they weren't ordinary. Some of them even gave him a look with the eyes of a warrior who had gone through many death battles, giving pressure like no other but they didn't give them much attention, leaving to their destination right away.
"What is this place?" Atlas said, still looking up gazing at the never-ending doors through the top horizon.
Alina walked ten, eleven steps ahead of him and widen her arms, proudly showing this miraculous space.
"Welcome to 'Equade' the root of 'Alibion'."
As she said her words, the mark on her chest started shining silver and her body gradually started floating up like gravity didn't exist in this space.
"Come on, transfer some mana to your mark and follow me."
Atlas was still gazing at her floating body in surprise and came out of his stupor hearing her voice and transferred some of his mana around his heart like she said but unlike hers, his became, even more, darker like a never-ending void and suddenly his body started feeling light, his clothes floating a bit. He felt like he was within the water with less resistance towards gravity.
'Holy shit!! This is soooo cool. Have to thank Bela after this mission is done.'
"What are you doing? come on, follow me." Alina said.
"oh…ok."
He tried using his wind symbol, to push himself forward but to his surprise, it didn't work, he tried using other symbols but nothing seemed to work.
"haha….trying to use the God symbols." Alina said with a smile.
"....ya"
"It's one of the laws of this space. You can't use any of them except your own mana. You will understand later on, just surround yourself with mana and try coming here."
Atlas again, did as she told, covering every inch of his body with his pure mana, surprising Alina a bit. He then tried flowing forward like swimming through the water but with less resistance and slowly came near her.
"ok, let's go"
Alina flew towards a specific gate, colored dark green in color which also showcased two stars above. The silver two-star mark again appeared within her palm resonating with the two-star overhead the green door, automatically opening it and entered right away.
Atlas also came near the opened green door, his mark also activated. He suddenly felt a breeze of fresh air passing through his face like he was in the forest with light noises of birds chirping.
'My first adventure in a fantasy world huh, my hearts beating a bit faster. Ha..... Cooldown me, it's going to be ok. Just don't attract too much bad luck like all those isekai protagonists.'
He again looked around to paste the marvelous view within his brain.
'I really need to investigate how all this works. The 'ATC' and now this, I might get a new breakthrough with my space symbol if I get an answer.'
He looked back at the door and entered the gate holding his breath with a bit of worry. The green-silver color observed his body and the door behind closed right after.
Bam!!!!
.
.
.
.
"A newbie huh?" said a female 'Alibion' adventurer looking far away up from above, within the zone surrounded by Five-star gates.
"What are you talking about big sis" asked a handsome guy near her.
"So you also didn't saw him. Hmm...I'm even more curious now." Said the women playfully.
"Come on big sis, let's complete our mission first, otherwise the Barrek city will get destroyed..."
Smack!!
"Ouch!! What's that for?" the guy said rubbing the back of his head.
"For ordering your big sis of course, now let's go." Said the women.
She adjusted her six feet, golden bow, and her long blade arrows and left for a five-star blue gate giving a last glance at the green door, which Atlas just used.
"Akohama, huh." she said with a smile.
