The Insights of the Gods, Deducing the Forbidden Spells at Hogwarts

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Coach, I Want to Learn Magic

Snape's eyelids twitched slightly.

He was discovered?

That shouldn't be possible.

He was just a small child, how could he have noticed Snape?

Snape couldn't understand.

He had indeed come today to check on Charlie.

For years, Snape had come once a year to take a look at Charlie.

Of course, he had also seen Harry.

Even though he refused to admit it, he had always kept an eye on both Charlie and Harry.

Not for any other reason

But simply because they were Lily's children.

Charlie had long since noticed Snape's presence.

However, in the past few years, he had been too young

He didn't want unnecessary entanglements.

Besides, even if he wanted to do something, Snape wouldn't have agreed anyway.

Now that he was ten years old,

It was finally possible to have a conversation.

Charlie walked straight toward Snape.

Snape's eyes filled with even more doubt.

He's really coming for me?

This kid is acting so strangely.

"Are you… looking for me?"

Seeing Charlie standing before him, Snape spoke slowly.

"Weren't you the one looking for me?"

Charlie looked at Snape with a half-smile.

Snape suddenly felt uneasy.

Every time he came to see Charlie, not even Dumbledore knew about it.

So how did Charlie find out?

Could it be magical perception?

That shouldn't be possible.

Even though Charlie had shown outstanding magical talent as a child,

No one had taught him magic over the years, so he shouldn't know how to use any spells.

Could he have sensed it just through raw magical intuition?

Charlie noticed Snape's confusion.

If he told Snape the truth

That he hadn't sensed Snape through magic,

But through a unique soul perception he had developed years ago

Snape would probably have a very interesting reaction.

"I saw you once before," Charlie said, "then I noticed you came again the next year. So, I kept an eye out."

"Are you someone who knows about my past?"

He spoke in an innocent, casual tone

But it was all nonsense.

His real goal was simple:

To get information about magic from Snape.

Maybe even some books in advance.

Snape remained silent.

Seeing this, Charlie raised his hand.

A faint wave of magic rippled through the air.

"I can feel the same power in you," Charlie said. "Can you help me understand it?"

Snape still didn't speak.

But his expression flickered slightly.

Something deep within him seemed to have been stirred.

He looked too much like her.

Charlie and Harry had some differences in appearance

Charlie looked more like Lily.

Not just the eyes.

After a long silence,

Snape finally seemed to make a decision.

"Come with me."

With that, Charlie followed Snape away from the orphanage.

The two arrived at a small café.

After a long period of silence,

Snape finally gave Charlie a brief explanation of magic.

Mainly, he told him that feeling magical energy in his body was normal.

He shouldn't get too excited about it,

And he needed to learn to control it.

Snape also gave him some basic knowledge about magic,

As well as a hint of information about Hogwarts.

"Uncle, are you saying… I'm a wizard?"

"And that means… I can learn magic?"

"Coach, I want to learn magic!"

Snape's face twitched slightly.

For a moment, he seemed to regret telling Charlie anything.

"No."

With that single word,

Snape disappeared into the crowd.

Charlie stood alone, feeling utterly bewildered in the wind.

Don't go! At least pay the bill!

Charlie was speechless.

But judging from today's outcome, it seemed like his goal had already been achieved.

Snape, that guy…

A stubborn, cold-hearted man on the surface

Yet his actions were full of kindness.

He always spoke the harshest words,

While doing the kindest things.

If nothing unexpected happened,

Charlie would soon be able to get more information about magic.

Three days later.

A nun from the orphanage knocked on Charlie's door.

"Dear Charlie, a gentleman sent a package for you. It's quite heavy."

Charlie took the package and thanked her.

Once the nun left, he immediately opened it.

Just as expected.

It was from Snape.

Inside, there were about ten books.

Old, yet immaculately kept.

-The Wizarding Chronicles

-Introduction to Potions

-The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Beasts

-Basic Spellcraft

-A Guide to Magical Energy Usage

"Reliable as always. Truly a man who talks tough but acts kindly."

Charlie chuckled as he flipped through the books.

Then, at the bottom of the package, he found several notebooks

Filled with handwritten notes and manuscripts on fundamental magic.

Extremely thorough preparation.

To be honest, Snape's magical skill and talent were among the very best at Hogwarts.

His learning ability and dedication were evident from these notes.

"Much appreciated."

Charlie murmured softly.

Then, he focused his mind

And entered study mode.

Thanks to his extraordinary comprehension skills,

Learning was as easy as drinking water.

Minute by minute, time passed swiftly.

[You have read Introduction to Potions and mastered advanced potion cultivation techniques.]

[You have finished The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Beasts and developed methods for breeding magical creatures.]

[You have studied A Guide to Magical Energy Usage and comprehended the principles of magical energy circulation.]

A flood of knowledge and skills poured into Charlie's mind and body.

These fundamental magical books significantly elevated his understanding of the wizarding world.

"This magical energy circulation method can keep my body in a constant state of energy absorption, gradually increasing my magic reserves."

Not bad

Far more efficient than the ancient, rigid methods described in books.

By the end of the day, Charlie had finished nearly all of the books.

Then, he pulled out pen and paper

And began writing to Snape.

"Dear Professor Snape,

Thank you for your generous gift…"

"I now have some questions and requests, and I hope you can help me."

Charlie carefully detailed his thoughts and inquiries,

Then handed the letter to his owl

A magical creature left to him by Hagrid.

It delivered letters with absolute precision.

A few days later.

When Snape received Charlie's letter,

He stood there

Lost in deep thought.
