The lights flickered on and off as he struggled in the chair, moving futilely as the ropes chafed against his wrists. His eyes closed and opened, trying to adjust to the change in lighting.

The sound of the door moving alerted him and he looked up, noticing a wolf who stood in the doorway. "Finally awake, Husker?" They grinned.

He looked at the wolf's eyes, meeting them. "Yeah, what's it to you?" He grinned, golden tooth shining in the flickering light.

"I want you to tell me where your boss stashes his money!" The wolf growled.

"Ha!" He snorted. "It's cute that you'd think I'd tell you everything."

"I guess we'll have to do this….the hard way." The wolf grinned.

The whole cast of the hotel, except Angel and his coworker, watched in shock at the scene that happened next. Lucifer's face was the definition of the shocked emoji, while Alastor was huddled up in a ball, ears tucked down as he tried not to hear the movie. Cherri Bomb was tinkering with her bombs, occasionally looking up and then looking quickly away again. Chizuki and Tatsu were browsing the Infinitive Library, which held every book in existence (no, he was not joking, he literally saw some "spawn" in there earlier) trying to ignore the TV. Mimic was sitting at the bar in front of him, glass in hand and mask [?]looking at the TV in a look he couldn't decipher. Luna sat behind the couch, covering her eyes. Niffty was lying on the couch, kicking her feet back and forth with a sweet look on her face.

"You know I won an award for this," Husker commented, smirking and tapping a paw on the side of his drink.

"What was it like?" Chizuki grinned, suddenly appearing behind the cat. Said Sinner let out a shriek at the appearance.

"The award ceremony or the filming of the movie? 'Cause I can tell you a lot about it~" He smirked.

"Oookay, that's enough," Alastor said, walking up and turning off the TV. "What the HECK was THAT?" His antlers screeched and the radio static buzzed more, turning his eyes to ticking dials.

"The king said it was a show and tell day," Husker shrugged. "So I showed and telled."

"That wasn't a very convincing interrogation scene," Angel raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, frick you! That was a masterpiece!" Husker growled, pinning his ears back.

"That's bull. Yeah, masterpiece my butt. You get drunk and yap about it all the time. Everyone likes to rant to the bartender. I know everything about you that they don't even know," Angel growled.

"Uh…." Mimic began. "Why were the pictures moving?"

"Gooooooood question," Alastor growled, the edges of his smile twitching.

"I know everyone's problems here." Angel rolled his eyes. He stepped out from behind the bar, moving closer to the group and standing near Angel.

"Wow, spider's got faaaaaangs," Husker purred, grinning. "Rawr~" He reached towards him and traced the outline of his chin.

Angel jumped out the way, nearly making the cat fall off the couch before he growled at him.

"Don't even get me started on you! I see past all of this fake stuff!"

"Oh, me? Fake? Wow, I had no idea. Guess that's why I'm an actor, dumbbass. And—" He started, but was interrupted by both their phones ringing. They glared at each other before Angel returned to the bar, and he answered his phone. Husker went off somewhere; probably off to his room where he also joined the call.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Are you off somewhere weird? Are they at least paying you?" He growled.

"W-well…l just, I…." Husker started.

"Well?" He snapped. "Answer me! Are you?"

"No, I-I'm not….but, uh…."

"Well you two BETTER be here soon, we're starting another shoot soon."

"We'll be right there." Husker answered.

Angel turned off the phone and looked past the bar, where Husker was gesturing to him frantically.

"Looks like Val needs me for a, uh….emergency shoot!" Husker exclaimed.

"But why—oooooooooh," Lucifer said. "But you guys can't leave yet! We've still got another activity for the day! Your boss would understand if you two stayed here, right?"

"I'm sure you'll manage without us, Lucifer." Husker forced a smile, eyes slitting in defense.

"But there isn't much time for the Hotel to prove itself—" He started.

"Lucifer, you literally have like, three sinnas already," Angel said, placing two hands on the King's shoulders. "Ya don't need two mor'. Dollface, it's mah job. Unless ya can fix our boss, there's nothin' ya can do."

He forcefully shoved the King, who had thrown himself in front of the door, out of the way, leading Angel outside.

"What am I doing wrong? Why won't they listen to me?" Lucifer sank to the ground, pillowing his face on his legs. "Why is it so useless?"

Alastor sat down next to him, wrapping an arm around him and pulling the demon into a hug. He sniffed and hugged him back, nearly ready to start crying. He wasn't normally one to cry, but the circumstances were understandable.

"Well, my dear, you are the King of Hell. You could try exerting a little more authority? Angel's and Husker's boss is, after all, lower on the hierarchy than you, mon cheri. You could always convince him to stop, after all." Alastor commented.

"That's true!" He snapped his fingers, disengaging himself from the hug unfortunately and stood up, opening the door and prancing down the road to V Tower.

Husker laid on the plush bed, covering his topless body with a blanket. There were more of his coworkers surounding him.

"Ohhh….I, uh….uhhh…." He reached underneath one of the pillows and looked at the script. "Do you really expect me to memorize this entire script?"

"Just improv it, Husker! Do you really think anyone watches this for the dialogue?" Valentino snarled, grabbing his megaphone again. "Action!"

A door on the set slammed open, and a group of four demons appeared, each carrying bags and ropes. They searched the room, pulling out objects and tossing them into the bags gently, as they were still items owned by Valentino and one grabbed him, pinning him to the bed.

"What are you gonna do to me~?" He asked, hoping that his voice sounded seductive enough. He smirked and—

His ears picked up on the sound of a door opening, and Lucifer appeared in the doorway.

"LUCIFER?" Husker accidentally said aloud.

"Uh, my name's Rocky." The dog demon on top of him said.

"I didn't ask," he quickly threw a robe onto him and he raced over to the King.

"Ah, so this is where the magic happens," He said, wandering around with an innocent look in his eyes. An actor took his pants off and Lucifer blushed, looking away quickly and wandering over to Husker.

"What in the ever-loving stuff are you doing here?" He snarled, pinning his ears back.

"I am the King of Hell and I can bring myself wherever in my domain," He puffed his chest up. "I'm actually here to get you and Angel some extra time off work. Now where's Valentino?" He looked around and was about to walk away when Husker grabbed his wrist gently.

"Oh, no no no no no no no no no you are going nowhere near Valentino—"

"Husker! What is the hold up?"

"Please, please, please, just wait, wait until we're done working and we will talk about this I promise. But first, you gotta go—"

Cold hands pressed themselves against his shoulders and he tensed up, knowing that it was his boss behind him.

"Aaaah, your majesty!"

"Oh, dang it." Husker muttered.

"Welcome to my humble dungeon, my King," He pushed Husker away, bending down to look at Lucifer. "What can I do for such a…." He rolled up Lucifer's sleeve, licking his arm. "...lovely specimen! You don't want a role, do you? Because I can make you even richer, mi rey."

"Ah, uh, no, thank you…." He smiled, but Husker could read the disgust in his eyes. "I have come to demand that you let Angel and Husker leave work! Immediately!"

Valentino tensed a bit and looked over at Husker, forcing a smile and looking at him with a dangerous look. Lucifer looked at Valentino and then at Husker, before adding, "Uh, later, of course! Wouldn't want to, uh, mess up your work….!"

"Well, then, make yourself comfortable, Your Majesty, and enjoy the show~" He looked over at his crew and his wings shifted slightly as he moved his arm roughly. "Well, we're taking this from the top!"

"Action!" His director, Travis, commented, laughing.

Husker returned back to his bed. He swallowed his fear and smirked at the robbers again, playing an innocent look. "Oh, wow, mister robbers. I sure hope you don't hurt me with those….big guns of yours~"

"Don't move, you feisty little witch or else I'll…." The robber started off as one of the microphones hit him in the face. Husker looked over at Lucifer and the microphone man.

"...we do redemption activities every day…." Lucifer whispered.

"Cut!" Valentino screamed. "WHAT is going ON with this?"

"Oh! I'm sorry, were we being too loud? I was just talking about the Hotel for Hazbins!"

"Not at all, my King!" He glared over at Husker, who shrinked against the pillow. "It doesn't bother me one. Bit….!"

"You know, this scene feels awfully violent. I get this is Hell, but maybe….tone it down….?" Lucifer got up, heading closer to Valentino and Angel. "If you need help with the script, maybe I can do something! I can make some scenarios that are more whole—whoa!"

He tripped over a wire, faceplanting on the floor. He gasped and looked at the carpet, which was quickly catching on fire. "Okay, okay, okay, ahhh okay," He reached for the fire, trying to extinguish it by reaching forwards with a hand. "That's on fire! That-that's on fire!"

The other actors ran away screaming, running off into the rest of V Towers. Husker remained on the bed, eyes wide and fearful. He backed up against the pillows, wishing that the fire wouldn't catch on the bed. Although he would reincarnate again, it was still so painful….

Lucifer looked around wildly, glancing around for something to put out the fire, but one glance at Husker told him that the desperation was only a cover….

Husker's eyes met Valentino. His boss growled, standing up from his chair why hadn't he moved from that?.

"Can I get a fire extinguisher?" Lucifer asked. "I am sooo sorry, I ruined your movie. I'm so sorry!"

Valentino focused his angry gaze on Husker, who shrinked back against the pillows again. He spread his ruby-red wings and extinguished the fire with a powerful gust of wind which flattened his fur.

"I-I-I am so sorry! I-I can clean this up, I can—"

Valentino bent down to fake-smile at the king. "Don't you worry your little pretty blond head about it. We have people for that," He waved one of his fluff-ringed hands in a dismissive gesture. "Husker," He looked towards him, focusing his ire on the poor cat. "Can I see you in your dressing room?"

Husker nodded quickly, swallowing in fear and slinking over to his dressing room. He hid behind the desk, trying to put distance between them. Valentino growled, shutting the door behind him.

"Val, I didn't know that—" Husker started.

Valentino growled and smacked the back of his hand against the side of Husker's face, bruising it and forcing him against the ground.

"Val, I—"

Said moth grabbed the collar of his robe, forcing him to look at himself in the mirror.

"You really think you can have our little brat of a king come here and fight your battles for you?"

He grabbed a chair and hit it against his side, leaving a bleeding mark.

"Val, please, I'm sorry….He's—"

"You bring him here to protect you?" He reached for him, digging his claws into his chest painfully. Husker flinched away, trying to cover his chest, which only earned him another slap.

"To mess with me?" He snarled. He snapped his fingers and breathed out a bit of red smoke, which curled around his neck and attaching him to the moth.

"Val, please, stop!" Husker pleaded. "Please!"

"You think he can get you out of work?" Valentino snarled.

"No! No, that's—that—that's not—" Husker pleaded as Valentino traced the shape of his neck. Husker gulped in fear, hoping Valentino wouldn't notice his heart rabbiting wildly. "—what I'm trying to do….I….no—"

"You know he can shut this whole business down. Is that why you brought him here? Hoping to wiggle out of the deal, you little weasel?"

He manipulated the smoke into revealing the contract that he signed, and his golden eyes landed on the bottom, which read "Husk".

"I own you, or have you forgotten that?"

"N-no…." Husker whimpered.

"When I say 'perform', you say….?"

"Yes, Valentino."

"When I say, 'you are doing it with twenty guys before lunch', you say….?"

"Yes," Husker choked out. "Valentino." His voice cracked at the ending word.

"When I say, 'you better get that FRICKEN WITCH OUT OF MY STUDIO', you say….?"

"Uh, I…." Husker trailed off.

Valentino dug his hands into the sides of his face, leaning in closer with a menacing glowing smile. "You say….?"

"Look, V-Val, he j-just gets involved in everything! I-I'll tell him to leave, just leave him alone….!" He reached for Valetino's hands in a pleading gesture, but quickly realized his mistake.

He roughly grabbed the sides of his face, pulling tightly at the edges. "I have killed people for less than this attitude! You're lucky you make me money or I would be rid of you! Now get out there," he threw him to the ground, smiling as the demon winced in pain. "And get rid of him, and then you will film all night!" He growled.

"Y-yes, Valentino." He winced.

"Good." He smiled. Husker reached for the door, his paws shaking. Valentino roughly grabbed the edge of his collar, dragging him into the studio and throwing him onto the bed.

"Alright! Get back onto the set and we are taking this from the top!"

Lucifer stomped forward, eyes glowing and popping up all over his body as his hat brim glowed. "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN TREAT HIM LIKE THAT? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN YOUR PLACE THAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN TREAT HIM LIKE THAT?! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN YOUR PLACE LOWLY SINNER? I WILL–"

"Lucifer!" Husker jumped off the bed, holding a paw out in front of him, eyes wide and pleading. "Just stop!"

"Husker, what—" Lucifer began, demonic [angelic?]features disappearing.

"Lucifer, leave!"

"But—"

"I didn't want your help, and I don't need it! You only made things worse for me!" He growled.

Lucifer faltered in his movement, looking up at Angel with sad eyes. "I-I just wanted to help you…."

"Well, you aren't! You really want to help me? JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! JUST LEAVE! Let me finish my work…."

"I….I didn't…." He sniffled. "I didn't mean to!" He looked over at Valentino, who was grinning smugly. Lucifer snapped his fingers, sending a sad glance over at Angel, who had entered the room in his mafia suit a few moments ago, before opening a portal to the hotel. The holy energy blanketed the room in a soft light. He looked at Husker again and left.

Cold hands pressed against his shoulders. "Good boy."

Husker willingly sat in a chair, letting the demons put makeup on his face, covering up his black eye.

"And….action."

"I'm not above a love to cash in," Husker sang, striking a seductive pose. "Another lover underneath those flashing lights, another one of those ruthless nights, yeah yeah yeah…." He looked up at the demons above him in true fear as they grabbed him.

"I shoulda guessed that this would happen, I should've known it when I looked in your red-hot eyes, spewing all your red-hot lies, yeah yeah yeah," Husker fake-grinned, looking at the camera with a suggestive look.

"What's the worst part of this Hell I can only blame myself~"

His hands were tied in Valentino's smoke as he grinned, continuing to sing. "'Cause I know you're poison, you're feeding me poison! Addicted to the feeling and I can't help but swallow up your poison, I made my choice and every night I'm living like there's no tomorrow, oh-oh-oh~"

He grinned, lying in a bed with two demons, surrounded by money. "Anyway you want me, baby, that's the way you've got me I'll be yo-o-ours~ My story's gonna end with me dead from your poison~"

He was pulled tightly into an uncomfortable outfit, looking at the other demons wildly as Valentino blew smoke into his face. "I got so good at being untrue, I got so good at telling you what you wanna hear~"

Valentino chuckled in his face, blowing more smoke into his mouth.

"I dissociate, disappear, yeah yeah yeah~" A blindfold was forced over his face, turning the world dark.

"And I'm finding it so far beyond difficult to resist another gulp~"

He struck a pose on the stage, smirking at the audience with Angel in the background. "Yeah I know it's poison you're feeding me poison! I'm choking from the taste and I can't help but swallow up your poison, I made my choice and….every night I'm wasted like there's no tomorrow! Oh-oh-oh!"

As he backed against the screens in the background, it showed….less favorable moments from his movies. "Any way you want me baby, that's the way you got me, I'll be yo-o-ours~ my story's gonna end with me dead from your poison!"

After the end of the shoot, Husker stood on the balcony of his room, looking out across Valentino's filming studio. Valentino and another V were standing in the courtyard. The V noticed him and disappeared in a flash of light.

"Poison, I'm drowning in poison," his voice cracked at the words, sounding deep and husky. "I'm filling up my glass but it's always hollow, full of poison; I'm sick of the poison. Wish I had something to live for tomorrow~"

They returned to the Hotel, and he returned to his usual place behind the bar. Husker left for a little bit, and came back out with his Hotel "uniform": no shirt, just black pants and suspenders.

"Can I get a drink?" Husker asked, sitting down on one stool and placing a cheek against the counter. "The hardest you can make."

"Ah, so it's forget-everything-night?" Angel asked. "Yeah, I guess you deserve it, after all, you did make work harder for all of us!" He snapped.

Husker growled at him, but his ears slightly perked up at the glass that was passed to him. He downed it in three gulps, sending him a questioning look. "I said a strong one, not one that could barely put me to sleep."

"Ah, right, well, tis' a place to stop bad habits; that's the strongest I can give ya." Angel shrugged.

"Oh, I forget, you're the wise old bartender who's seen it all. Why don't you get over yourself and pour me a true drink?"

"No can do, good fella. If ya got a problem, look somewhere else."

"Oh, where should I look, hmmm? Maybe….in your bed? Under the covers? Maybe we can go together; I bet you can make these wings flap~" He summoned his wings, flapping them before folding them at his side.

Angel slapped him away, knocking the glass off the counter and Husker onto the floor. "Fricking Christ!" He exclaimed. "It's neva gon' work on me! So all ya doin' is makin' a fool o' yourself with tis' fake stuff!"

Husker growled, slamming his paws on the counter as his eyes glowed and his wings expanded, the feathers sharpening and his claws appeared out of his paws. "CALL ME FAKE ONE MORE TIME MOTHERTRUCKER! I DARE YOU!"

Angel leaned in closer to the cat, and he poked his chest fluff. "Fake." He smiled smugly.

"Fricking a—" He growled, rising up and then bumping his head on the roof of the bar. He fell to the ground, rubbing his head. "Arrgh! God!"

"Ya done?" Angel asked plainly, putting on a bored expression.

"You know what?" Husker growled, pining his ears back. "You would be fricken lucky to get a chance to do it with me! Do you know how much I'm worth? You be lucky to get a chance to have fricking Husker in your bed!"

He growled, stomping out of the way and shoving Alastor out of his way near the door. The deer's eyes flickered into radio dials before moving back.

"Husker, my dear, where are you going?" He asked.

"OUT!"

The room shook as Husker slammed the door.

"What did you do now, Angel?" He growled, narrowing his red eyes.

Angel shrugged. "Made him a drink."

"Ohhh, he looked really upset!" Lucifer said, suddenly appearing in the doorway. He sniffled again, and Angel noticed Alastor's eyes widen slightly. The deer held out a hand slightly.

"Oh, it's just Angel, he'll be fine."

"I….don't think so….I really messed up at the studio today and he got in trouble," Lucifer said, tail flicking anxiously. "Maybe someone could….go after him?" He looked at Angel hopefully, clasping his hands together. "Perhaps….someone named Angel?"

Angel looked at him blankly.

"He said, someone named Angel." Alastor said sharply, focusing a forced grin on said Sinner.

"Why don't you go, if you're so worried? Or Lucifer?"

"Because our King has stuff to do. All you do is clean glasses and the counter—"

"And bad boy spider mopes too!" Niffty cut in. The cyclops maid was busy dusting off the coffee table where she was laying earlier, while another arm was spraying the couch.

Angel rolled his eyes.

"Ah, yes, you are correct, my dear Niffty. And I'm not the one who sent him storming out," Alastor growled. "You go get him and drag him back."

"No! No…." Lucifer cut in. "Don't force him back! Just make sure he's safe; I pushed too hard in the studio and only made him feel worse. He's gonna come back when he wants to….just….make sure he's okay….?"

Alastor sent a pointed look over at Angel, who grumbled in protest.

"Fine…." he growled. "BUT NO PROMISES!"

"I'm gonna go write our lesson plan for next time about breaking bad habits. Good luck Angel!"

Angel rolled his eyes, but complied with his earlier words and leaving the hotel.

XXXXXXX

Laughing and the sounds of clubbing echoed throughout the room as he sauntered up to the bar, dressed up neatly in a pale pink-gray shirt with dark pink stripes and black pants, with a little white fedora that reminded him of his "mafia days".

The bartender walked up to him, and he ordered a drink, watching Husker and his group of demons laugh and only commit more sin.

"...I am so messed up!..." The cat laughed. "Yeah, so I told him he couldn't afford me in a million years! I got better options, right boys?"

One demon laughed and nodded. Husker looked over at one of the demons, wiggling his half-filled drink. "Hey, baby, be a doll and bring me another one? I'm out of juice~"

Angel watched as the demon sauntered up to the bar. The bartender poured a liquid into two glasses. The demon looked over at their surroundings before taking out a glass bottle filled with a light pink liquid. On the other side of the bottle, he could faintly make out the silhouette of Valentino through the light that shined through the label. It was one of Valentino's potions—he had seen it around the studio.

Angel set his glass down. "Son of a—"

He stomped up to the demon, hearing it say, "Here you go darling: just for you—"

He grabbed the collar of their shirt and he lifted him off the ground, using his size as an advantage to pick them up. The drinks spilled and he nearly smiled in a dark satisfaction.

"Whoa!" They exclaimed.

"Nice try, airhead." He snarled, using his many pairs of arms to grab the demon and toss them aside like a ragdoll. He grabbed Husker by the wrist, summoning his other pair of arms and shooting at a net that was hanging from the roof, cutting it down onto them.

"Let's go!" He exclaimed.

"What the—? Hey! Hey! Hey!" Husker yelled.

Angel managed to drag him in front of a store titled Ozzie's.

"Angel! What the heck are you doing here? Let go of me!" Husker demanded.

"I'm takin' ya ta the Hotel."

"GET OFF!" Husker demanded, violently ripping himself out of Angel's hold.

"One of those mothertruckers put somethin' in ya drink."

"You don't think I can tell if someone spikes my drink? I do this all the time!" He exclaimed.

"Ya just let people hurt ya all o' the time?" Angel yelled.

"You think I ask for it, just looking for the right time? I didn't ask for it! I didn't ask for any of this! You should know that, since you've been in the studio even longer than me, but you don't even know me! I didn't ask for anyone to save me, least of all you, or Lucifer, although it would make everyone's day better if Valentino just one day keeled over dead!"

"Really?" Angel asked, doubtful. "Seems like ya might need a bartender to talk to."

"Yeah, you think I need some chippy mess-up who gives unhelpful advice all the time?"

Angel tilted an eyebrow up. "Maybe I'd treat ya better if you were some real version of yaself and not some fake version that's always pushin' my boundaries! Lemme tell ya: nobody in that Hotel cares who ya are. How famous, how hot, so ya might as well just….cut the act."

Husker's eyes widened, tears forming at the corners. "IT'S NOT AN ACT!"

Angel took a surprised step backward, eyes widening.

"It….it's who I need to be," Husker sobbed. "And this….this is my escape, where I can forget about it all and how much I hate my job! I signed up to that Hotel because I thought I could do better….be better. Sometimes….sometimes I wonder…." The cat took a glass out of his outfit, throwing it against the ground and picking up a glass shard. He held it up to his face, cracking a forced smile while threatening to hurt himself. "Maybe….if I hurt or end myself in the process, I won't be his favorite toy anymore…." The cat dropped to the ground, wrapping his arms around his legs and hiding his face. "...and maybe he'll let me go…." He whispered.

Angel sat down beside him, frowning in sudden sympathy and pity. Over the last few weeks [and months, now that he looked back], he had grown to actually like the cat, to want to be friends with him.

"Wanna know how I met Valentino?" Angel asked.

Husker sniffled, but nodded anyway.

Angel cracked a small smile. "I was fresh in Hell, all naive and stuff. He approached me, golden contract in hand, telling me about how 'I could be a star'...and my stupid self signed the contract, enthusiastically shakin' his hand, and then….this happened."

"I was an Overlord once," Husker admitted. "I was gambling and winning, for once in my life. I was on a roll, gathering souls left and right. Then….he appeared. I caught him cheating, tried to report him, but….the owner of the casino didn't listen to me, and he was given my soul as punishment."

"Guess we both know what it's like…." Angel said. He tapped his finger on the ground, before….

"So things look bad….and ya back's against the wall. Ya whole existence seems hopeless….ya feelin' filthy as a dive bar bathroom stall~ Can't face the world sober and dopeless…." Angel stood up, bringing out one of his guns and using it as a cane. "You've lost ya way, ya think ya life is wrecked….well let me just say ya….correct~!"

"Wait what?" Husker asked.

"You're a loser, baby, a loser, goddamn baby, you're a messed up little whiny witch~"

"Hey!"

"You're a loser, just like me!"

"You've got that right!" Husker commented.

"You're a screw's-loose loser, an only one star reviews-er, a power-bottom at rock bottom, but ya got company!"

"This supposed to make me feel better?" Husker asked, doubtful.

"There was a time I thought that no one could relate~" Angel said, striking a melancholic pose. "To the gruesome ways in which I'm damaged~ but lettin' walls down, it can sometimes set ya straight! We're all livin' in the same stupid sandwich~"

"I sold my soul to a psychopathic freak." Husker growled.

"Hahaha! And ya think that makes ya unique~ Get outta here man! We're both losers, baby, we're losers, it's okay to be a—"

"Messed-up witch?" Husker asked.

"Baby that's fine by me!"

Husker smiled, wiping his tears away and standing up with a genuine happy look on his face. "I'm a loser, honey, a schmoozer and a dummy, but at least I know I'm not alone!"

"You're a loser…."

"JUST LIKE ME!" They both exclaimed.

"I got an appetite for gambling!" Husker sang.

"I got an appetite for sampling every new drink I can find~!" Angel grinned. "Sing that song, come on!"

"I have no innocence left~!" Husker sang.

"I sold my soul for no reason~!"

"Now we're on that demon's leash, and we're trapped and it gets worse with every hour~!"

"You're a loser, baby~" Husker grinned, smiling at him.

"A loser, but maybe if we—"

"Do it together, things'll end up differently!"

Husker started humming a tune as they danced on the sidewalk.

"It's time to lose ya self-loathin', excuse yaself left hope in baby, play ya card be who ya are, a loser just like—"

"THERE HE IS! THEY'RE SINGING? GET 'EM!" The same demons who were with Husker earlier screamed. Angel grabbed Husker's hand and led him behind a parked car, dodging the bullets that chased after them with frightening speed.

"Dang it! Stay down, I'll deal with this!" Angel exclaimed. He shot at the demons with his guns, trapping them with his special spiderweb-bullets. One was hiding behind a car, and he was having trouble with attacking them.

They poked their head out from behind the car and was immediately attacked by a card which cut their head off.

"HAHAHA! EAT CARDS, SUCKA!" Husker shouted. He held a paw out to Angel, who took it. "I told you, I can handle myself."

"This didn't go as planned—" The remaining demon said before they were killed.

"Well that was somethin' I didn't expect to see." Angel smiled at him.

"Like I said, you don't know me, filming isn't the only thing I'm good at."

"Good ta know, since tis' guy ain't that bad." Angel winked at him.

Husker smiled a small little smile at him before they left for the hotel.

The door creaked open as the two walked in, laughing.

"He had like three bills and he couldn't even count them! His eyes are so bad!" Husker exclaimed.

"Hahaha, can ya believe we take orders from him?"

"I know! What a joke!"

Husker was suddenly bombarded by a messy Lucifer, who had splatters of paint all over his face and clothes. "I'M SO SORRY HUSKER I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I PROMISE I WON'T EVER—"

Husker gently picked the messy demon off of him, still smiling. He looked down at his fur and clothes, which were now damaged, with blood and paint splatters on them. "It's fine, Lucifer. I….accept your apology."

"Ah, there you two are. Care to make a painting?" Alastor asked from the other room.

Angel noticed Chizuki and Niffty, who were painting together in the corner; Chizuki kept splattering paint on Niffty's side, and vice versa.

"THE GOOD BOYS ARE BACK!" She exclaimed, scuttling up to them.

Angel waved hesitantly at her before the maid ran back to her painting, which was getting messed up by Chizuki again.
