The Greece Antagonist
Chapter 80: Absolute Disloyalty is the Non-Absolute of Loyalty_2
"Well said!" Zeus nodded approvingly, his face brimming with a smile, "In that case, let me grant your wish."
Upon hearing the formal approval of his request, joy from deep within shone in Perseus' eyes, "Thank you, Father..."
"Pfft!"
The voice abruptly cut off as Perseus stiffly lowered his head, looking at the pale arm that had penetrated his chest and the Divine Core in that hand, his face filled with astonishment.
"I'll be taking your Divine Core," she whispered melodically, the seductive figure that had appeared in the hall at some point, stretching her slender waist, her pink tongue lightly licking her moist lips, leaning close to whisper.
Perseus instinctively turned around and was shocked to see the beautiful girl with long, purple-black hair and amber eyes.
As their eyes met, the amber eyes immediately magnified in Perseus' vision, filling his entire heart.
His consciousness was pulled downward, as if plunging into boundless darkness.
Looking around, Perseus saw a devastated world, dark celestial bodies with red-black mudflows at their borders continually pouring malice onto the scarred land, all light devoured completely, the ground below covered with countless bones and remains.
Wingless Nymphs, heartless Titan Monsters, twisted Golden Corpses, severed heads of Bronze Giants... appeared successively in his eyes.
Meanwhile,
Buzz!
In the heart-thumping tremor, red-black mud erupted from the ground beneath Perseus' feet, forming a swamp of red-black mud mixed with pure malice in the hall.
Waves rippled on the surface of the lake, a black cube, constantly changing and expanding, slowly formed and rose.
Shortly, the cube twisted itself like a Magic Cube, dark crimson magical runes successively climbing over the entire black container's surface.
Accompanied by the last of the darkness being illuminated, a pool of red-black liquid rose to the top from inside the blackness and poured down from a "Hole" dissolved from the "World," drenching Perseus completely.
Thick malice spread from the pale hand that had penetrated Perseus' abdomen, forming ghastly red-black runes on the body of the young man from the Perseus Constellation.
"Pff~~"
In the dull sound akin to a burst water bag, the girl withdrew her hand, satisfied.
The wound on Perseus' chest writhed further, tearing open to expose chunks of rolling flesh and creaking brittle bones burdened beyond their strength.
Through the bones and muscle membranes, the red-black mudflow surged within his abdominal cavity, replacing the original Divine Patterns with hideous red-black runes, covering every muscle, every organ.
As the Divine Core, now completely blackened, was reinserted into Perseus by the retreating hand, the young man stood like a stake, his torn chest cavity instantly filled with black mire.
Moments later, Perseus' chest began to pulse again, his eyes slowly opened.
But now, his eyes were dark voids, utterly devoid of spirit, standing motionless in the hall like a soulless puppet.
The enchanting girl with purple-black hair surveyed her freshly minted creation for a while, then tilted her head, curiously looking towards Zeus on the throne.
"Wasn't he your most trusted son? How could you still bear to strike?"
"I did trust him indeed, but he betrayed my trust," Zeus slowly spoke, his face grim.
"That makes him all the more deserving of death!"
"I think, he hadn't reached the point of betraying you yet, had he?" Pandora, who had been watching the whole process from a hidden location, blinked and couldn't help saying a fair word.
"But he released Hercules and even sympathized with the Thessaly traitors, that's hardly loyalty," Zeus responded with a cold snort, his eyes flickering with a dark light.
"And loyalty that isn't absolute, is absolutely disloyalty!"
Upon hearing this justification, Pandora couldn't help but giggle and clap her hands.
"Exactly! You are absolutely right!"
Just because Perseus hasn't done certain things now doesn't mean he won't do them in the future...
He didn't have the power to act now, but that didn't mean he wouldn't once he had the power in the future...
He didn't have the chance now, but that didn't mean he wouldn't take the opportunity to act if it arose...
There is a sin called 'the sin of the future'!
And His Majesty the King of Gods was best at preventing mishaps before they occurred, erasing all possible threats to his power and shaking the pillars of his divine authority.
So, from the moment Perseus began to waver inwardly, emotionally biased, his fate had already been sealed.
Watching the puppet covered in red and black patterned lines before her, Pandora snickered and shook her head; her fair hand slapped down, and the legendary Perseus sank into the red and black mire.
Within that dark expanse, shadowy figures flickered in and out of sight.
Some were Magic Beasts like the three-headed Poison Dragon, Hydra, and Sphinx that had been slain in the Arcadia Beast Tide, others were the large and small Magical Pigs killed in the Calydon hunt, and still others were the Centaurs, giants, and Divine Blood Heroes who had died in Thessaly...
Seeing her collection grow by one more, Pandora raised her hand contentedly.
The ground's black mire receded like a tide, and a six-sided silver-black metal cube, engraved with dense runes, rose from the ground to rest in the maiden's fair palm, continuously changing shapes with a unique rhythm.
Fight, fight, the more fiercely you fight, the stronger I will become!
And eventually, I might even surpass the one on the throne!
The Enchantress looked toward that blood-soaked future, excitedly licking her cherry lips.
"What about those giants? How are they prepared?"
Hearing the questioning voice from the throne, Pandora withheld her ill-intentioned smile, shaking her head resignedly.
"I don't know what happened, but they no longer trust me. They shout and attack whenever they see me, so I am also unclear about their recent situation."
Is that so?
Zeus murmured softly, his brow gradually furrowing.
The unexpected had happened once again, and this unsettling feeling beyond his control was truly annoying.
"Never mind, don't bother with them. Go find Eris and have her do what she must."
"As you command, Father God..."
Pandora nodded gladly, her figure turning into a streak of black light that disappeared among the stars.
~~
Night fell over the capital of Thessaly.
While Luo En hid in the military camp, using the training of Divine Blood Heroes as an excuse to avoid Hera's oppression, an uninvited guest burst into his tent.
The graceful figure stepped inside, lightly lifting a hand to press on the metal clasp behind her head, which triggered the detachment and retraction of her Golden Armor, revealing the visitor's true face.
She had silky, soft violet hair shining like violets, banded into a neat bun at the back of her head with circular clips, while a few stray bangs playfully framed her straight, sexy nose. Long, luscious eyelashes underlined eyes shimmering brighter than gold.
Those slender eyebrows arched gracefully, dewy cherry lips lightly pressed together, complemented by her flawless, white jade-like cheeks, all presenting an image of sanctity and flawlessness.
Upon closer look, a hint of green-gold flame seemed to burn within those eyes, lending a majestic coldness to her beautiful features.
A pure white cloak was fastened onto her slim shoulders, its high collar standing up like a lion's mane, adding a touch of frosty aloofness and the dignity of a conqueror.
But moving downward along her profile, past the snowy, sexy swan neck and collarbone, what first caught the eyes was an almost magnetically attractive ample cleavage.
After removing the breastplate, the blue long dress tightly packed at the top, exposed a vast expanse of fair skin piled up like snow, strained to its limits, causing the golden embroidery on the chest to slightly distort.
Beyond the prominent peaks below was an unbearably slender, delicate waist, accentuated by a silver metal belt for easier movement.
Silvery, lustrous greaves covered her long, full legs, the metal's color reflecting off her skin's curve in a uniquely beautiful way.
Prying open the layer of Golden Armor revealed her devilish figure and peerless beauty, like a ripe, luscious fruit about to burst, making one's mouth dry and throat convulse with a surge of conquering desire.
"Sister Ya?"
Luo En looked at the visiting Athena and the dense night outside the tent, unable to help swallowing his saliva.
Is this... sexual temptation?
