Underwater, at the Sea God Temple.

The crisp surge of waves penetrated the outer magic barrier and echoed inside the temple.

Amphitrite, praying in the center of the hall, changed her expression abruptly and hastily materialized a set of Mountain Copper sword and shield, as if facing a formidable enemy, looking toward the slowly opening temple doors.

"Who's there?"

"It's me, don't be nervous."

A gentle voice came through; Luo En pressed his palms together and offered Amphitrite a kind smile.

However, Amphitrite not only failed to relax but became even more vigilant, involuntarily stepping back several paces.

Luo En followed her gaze to see dozens of merfolk guards and ocean nymphs lying behind him and immediately understood the crux of the matter. He smiled and explained,

"The little fellows outside were a bit noisy, so I let them take a nap. The topic we're about to discuss is somewhat private, not really suitable for their ears."

"What do you want to do?"

Amphitrite's voice was dry, and immediately, she summoned a set of blue scale armor and wrapped herself tightly in it.

Seeing this, the kind smile on Luo En's face froze, and he couldn't help but curse inwardly.

Do you take me for your insensible dead husband? Full of lecherous thoughts?

"Uncooperative, huh? Need me to give her a shot? I guarantee you, she'll listen to whatever you say!"

Mechanical God Venus, seizing the opportunity, sidled closer, flaunting a syringe filled with pink magic potion, casting a malicious smile at the alone Sea Queen.

Amphitrite, hearing this, paled and felt an urge to turn and flee.

"Bang!"

A dull booming sound erupted as a falling fist hammered Mechanical God Venus into the floor of the Sea God Temple like a whack-a-mole.

After Luo En forcefully cleared the distracting noise, he quickly smiled to clarify,

"Don't listen to this woman's nonsense; I've specifically come to check up on you and your son."

Seeing that Amphitrite was still doubtful, he explained helplessly,

"While passing through this area, I spotted a trail of blood-red light nearby, it seemed to be the divinity of the Goddess of Discord. I was a bit concerned, so I made a special trip to have a look."

Eris!

Amphitrite's gaze sharpened at this mention.

Since the Olympus rebellion, His Majesty, the King of Gods, had almost become isolated, with only the Hundred-Handed Giants and the Goddess of Discord, Eris, who could be considered as lesser deities and confidants.

That woman appearing near the newly-built Sea God Temple was not a good sign.

Could it be that Zeus was planning to strike at her family while the Sea God Temple was weak?

With that thought, Amphitrite shivered.

Compared to the deity from War God Mountain, it was Zeus of Olympus who was truly dangerous—especially for a beautiful, solitary Goddess.

Had it been him entering, she might have been lying in bed by now.

"Thank you for the warning."

Amphitrite lowered her guard and thanked him repeatedly, her beautiful face adding a touch of sincerity.

"No need to be so formal." Luo En casually shook his head and spoke gently to Amphitrite, "After all, you are Tethys's sister, and the Sea God Temple and War God Mountain have once fought side by side; both morally and emotionally, I ought to make this visit."

Amphitrite felt deeply moved upon hearing this.

This "brother-in-law" must be the most compassionate deity in all of Greece.

At that moment, it was as if his actions silently confirmed this claim.

Outside the door, Luo En stood properly in place, not only refraining from entering the Sea God Temple without permission but also thoughtfully advised,

"Since Eris has discovered your new refuge, this place may no longer be hidden. For safety's sake, it would be better for you to move to a safer location sooner rather than later."

"Where could you find safety in the Sea of Okeanos now?"

A bitter smile appeared on Amphitrite's face, revealing her profound fatigue and helplessness.

Ever since her husband Poseidon decided to contend for the supreme throne, the Sea God Temple had been on a decline.

First, they suffered defeat in the battle of Crete, and Zeus used that as an excuse to sink the Atlantis Continent;

Then came the Olympus rebellion, where the Sea God Temple paid a heavy toll to reclaim the maritime authority that was rightfully theirs;

Next, the battle against the Giants struck, and Demon Ancestor Typhon wreaked havoc in their domain, swallowing many deities of the Sea God Temple camp and devastating the entire marine ecosystem;

At the critical moment, the opportunist Zeus backstabbed them, annihilating their only remaining allies, the Bronze Clan;

Finally, in a moment of discontent, Poseidon went to Olympus to seek justice, only to sacrifice himself, and has since been unable to rebuild his body...

With these successive calamities, the once powerful Sea God Temple was left with almost nothing but its name, unable even to maintain basic marine order and its own defenses.

Otherwise, not even the Goddess of Discord, Eris, or this God of Wine would have come knocking, and she, the Queen of the Sea, would have been none the wiser.

But it should be noted that the Sea of Okeanos was not dominated solely by their Sea God Temple.

Offspring of the Old Sea God Pontos, the bloodline of Titan Main God Occhanos and Thetis, remnants of the Demon Species of Typhon... All these were families dependent on the sea for survival.

When the Sea God Temple was powerful, a balance could be maintained among the different forces.

Now, the Sea God Temple had lost its luster, like a phoenix without feathers. With the principal Poseidon asleep, Amphitrite, a gentle Goddess, could hardly suppress other Divine Bloodlines itching for action. They had no choice but to lead the remnants of the Sea God kin in search of refuge.

But during the consolidation of their power, Poseidon had often campaigned against other Divine Bloodlines, thus making countless enemies.
