The Golem Mage

Chapter 447: War Of Sweden Continues.

Alec waited patiently for the ice encasing the Bone knight to crack, eager to see if the knight could still reincarnate or reconnect with its summons that have been imprisoned by him.

The moment the ice finally shattered, the Bone knight reached out towards Alec's neck in an attempt to strangle him.

But with a flick of his wrist, he moved his Changdao that is still enveloped in a flaming aura, as he cleaved the hand clean off.

He then thrust his hand into the Bone knight's chest, gripping and shattering the core within.

As the body of the Bone knight collapsed to the ground in pieces, Alec watched intently, half-expecting some sign of reanimation, but nothing happened.

He then replicated the hand sign he had used to seal the black hole, summoning one of the skeletons back through it.

As if by magic, the Bone knight he had just slain transformed into the skeleton that had passed through the black hole, while the one that had just emerged began to change.

Its bones expanded, it grew taller, and its sword and blue armor reassembled onto its body, Alec was infuriated by the sight of the resurrected Bone knight.

Upon completing its reconstruction, the Bone knight raised its head, displaying a fierce expression, only to be met with a sniper-mode Terra bullet from Alec, aimed straight at its core.

The bullet pierced the core, killing the Bone knight instantly, just after it complete its transformation.

"Seems the Bone knight gets weaker with each revival; that's why its transformation took longer than the first time," Agnes observed, sharing her thoughts on the matter.

"I don't really care; either way, I'm just going to keep killing it, until there are no more clones left," Alec stated as he conjured another sniper-mode Terra bullet,

Before he opened the portal and allowing only one of the skeletons summoned by the Bone knight to emerge again.

As the skeleton was released, it seemed the Bone knight's spirit, which had been wandering and unable to find its summons due to Alec locking them in a restricted space, finally entered the released skeleton's body.

As the body began to transform too, but just as before, the moment it finished its transformation and raised its head, it was met with Alec's disdainful gaze.

Alec stared down the Bone knight as he destroyed its core again with a single bullet.

This process repeated until Alec finally killed the last summoned skeleton, and the Bone knight could no longer revive.

Despite the Bone knight's attempts to escape Alec's relentless assault, it was no match for Alec, who had already cast his innate spell down and was simply waiting for each revival.

"Now try waking up from that!" Alec taunted as he used a swift motion to clean the blood from the blade of the Bone Katana by drawing it along the scabbard before sheathing the weapon.

He turned to realize that the Lich was observing him, it was clear his actions of having eliminated over four Tier 4 undead,

Is a feat was enough to pique the Lich's interest, it was enough now for the Lich to see him as more than just a talented war commander.

As he began to march forward, he noticed something else—a smoky figure appeared out of nowhere and swiftly snapped the necks of five mages before lunging at Beatrice.

With a graceful motion, Alec propelled himself once more towards the approaching being.

As he was determined to intercept it before it could come near Beatrice, ready to defend her at all costs.

She had been taken aback by the sudden appearance of such a ghastly-looking undead launching a sneak attack on her, just as she was on the verge of triumphing over the

Skeletal knight.

As she grappled with what action to take, Alec appeared beside her as if he had been teleported there. Without hesitation, Alec swung his Bloody Changdao, only to be shocked when his weapon merely whistled through the creature known as the wraith.

Reading the description, he realized that physical attacks were futile against it; no matter how he struck, his attacks would simply pass through its body.

"Oni, Sword Saint, this one's yours!" Alec called out as he clapped his hands together, unleashing a large flame shockwave that sent the Tier 4 wraith hurtling towards where Oni and the Sword Saint were positioned.

Alec had come to understand that there were still many entities he might not be able to touch, as he lacked spells or attacks capable of injuring a spirit or soul life form.

He had been seeking alternatives for confronting those he couldn't physically touch or attack.

And he had recently learned that Oni was not only capable of absorbing souls but could also attack soul life forms and even injure them.

Meanwhile, the Sword Saint possessed the ability to cut through anything, provided he had the strength to do so.

Deciding to leave the wraith to them, Alec trusted that they could handle it as he dashed towards the Lich. However, his path was obstructed by the Dullahan.

From the other side, he could see the zombies army have started moving, and he frowned.

Although he couldn't come up with an immediate solution, he was sure his army wouldn't be losing soon, as they had the support of his golems who wouldn't tire easily.

Except, there was an undead there that was much stronger than them and could potentially destroy their bodies, but Alec highly doubted this, as such an undead would need to be in the Tier 5 Mage Realm to do so.

--

The wraith found itself surrounded by Oni and his summons, four red oni wielded blunt weapons with spikes, while the blue oni brandished dual blades.

The sword saint stood slightly apart from the group, his Great sword drawn and flashing with a grey light, ready to attack.

"So you all want to attack me with numbers, huh? Well, let's even out the score, as I can't be bullied by you all," the wraith spoke, spreading its hands as black smoke rushed into the bodies of the five mages it had killed upon its arrival.

Slowly, they rose as zombies, though one of them mutated with completely red skin and long claws.

Originally a Tier 2 when the mage had died, but it had now risen as a Tier 3 zombie due to the powers of the wraith.

"And just when I thought things couldn't get more difficult, Saint, I will leave four of my guys to you so you take care of those zombies, Just make sure you come back quickly, as I won't be able to hold this bastard down alone for long," Oni said, his mask changing to a serious expression own.

As a black fog appeared on his hand, and when it disappeared, he was already gripping a scythe with both hands.

And the remaining four hands were each holding a different type of blade.

Recognizing the vulnerability of its current form, the wraith dashed towards where the city guards were engaged in battle, with the oni chasing after it.

Although the oni was fast, it couldn't match the wraith, which was flying in its smoke form, eventually, the wraith reached the nearest mage, coincidentally from the War God Mage Academy, and entered his body, possessing him.

"I hate these undead!" Arthur, who was nearby, attempted to sever the wraith's head.

However, to his dismay, the blade merely passed through the mages body without inflicting any damage.

The mage, now under the control of the wraith, looked back at Brandon with black pupils and a slick smile, but before the situation could worsen, Oni finally caught up.

Swinging his scythe, he utilized the inner curve of the blade to hook the leg of the possessed mage and pull him away.

As he was desperate to prevent the wraith from killing more mages and turning them into zombies, Oni's actions caused the wraith to lose balance as it was pulled over.

"Leave him to me!" Oni declared, raising his scythe, which gleamed with a blue soul light, as he struck down with the intention of plunging the blade deep into the possessed mage's body.
