Chapter 323: Let There Be Chaos.. 1
Alec stretched his body, feeling every joint stiff from staying in the same position for three days straight.
Luckily, he had managed to reach the peak of the Tier 2 Mage Realm on the second day.
However, because he still wore the arcane crown, he had to wait another 24 hours before he could come out, in order to avoid Agnes discovering it.
The Whole gang was still unaware about the benefits of the crown, so if they saw Alec with the crown they would think he was some kind of freak who enjoyed having his Mana locked.
During this time, Alec decided to self meditate and try to better understand his innate spell.
And luckily for him, His knowledge of his innate skills had reached a new level opening new options for him .
Opening his door, he was surprised to see the whole gang waiting on his doorstep.
It was clear they all believed they had broken through before him.
"Pay up, brother," Arthur said loudly, extending his right hand towards Brandon, who looked helpless as he passed a bag of nature spirit stones to Arthur.
"Ahh sucker!"
Arthur laughed, while Alec glared at him.
"It was only a small bet, don't worry brother. I was the one who had faith in you by the way, and you just made me a little richer than yesterday for my Faith."
Arthur approached Alec and placed his hand around his neck.
"The master asked you to come to him immediately after you came out of seclusion!"
Agnes reminded Alec, realizing that the two idiots had forgotten the main reason they were waiting at his door in the first place.
"Oh, thanks for that. Well, I shall be on my way then, Am happy to see how much progress you all have made,"
Alec complimented them as he walked past, making his way towards Terran's Castle at the center of the Mountain Peak.
He had always known that they wouldn't have any problems advancing to the next stage, considering their improved stage was orchestrated by the system's experience points.
All they needed was some serious cultivation and they would be able to enter the next rank of their realm.
All that talk about not rushing their cultivation because of building a solid foundation by Agnes did not apply with the system.
As long as they cultivated hard, hunted with Alec, and used the right resources, they would always be able to break through easily, except when they reached a major breakthrough and needed their own comprehension to breakthrough like the breaking through from low rank to the Mid rank realm.
Alec cleared out all those thoughts as he knocked on his master's door.
"Come in, Alec!"
Terran's voice came from inside, prompting Alec to open the door and step into the room.
He noticed that everything had a new look, but he ignored it and moved towards the seat near his master.
As Terran stretched his hand towards it, Alec sat down and noticed they had a view of the whole peak through the windows near the door. Continue your adventure at My Virtual Library Empire
He realized how his master had been able to see him coming.
"Nice view!" Alec complimented.
"Hmm, thanks," Terran replied.
"Do you know why you have been called here?" Terran asked.
"Not really, but if I were to guess, it's probably related to whatever me and the gang did in the Abyss, right?" Alec asked, and Terran nodded slowly.
"You have to realize something. There is a faction in this school that has been targeting my students, and you are shining brighter than any disciple I have ever had."
"Even with a low rank realm, you have done things that no one else has ever done. I just want you to be extra cautious because I'm sure they will try their very best to get to you now."
"And if they can't get to you directly, they will find a way to get someone close to you to make you vulnerable," Terran was explaining before Alec interrupted with a sentence.
"Is that how they got to you? Since they can't get to you directly, they decided that the best way was to go after your disciples as it seems to affect your mental fortitude?'
" And as long as your mental energy is not stable and hasn't reached a certain level, you will never reach the Tier 8 Mage Realm, right?"
"Yes, that's how," Terran answered Alec.
"Are you afraid that they will come after me too?"
Alec asked, looking out the window and seeing his clansmen chatting with the Centaur Prince who was strolling by.
"Yes, I am quite scared, In fact, I thought you would have gotten into some problem or another situation where I would have to save you again. But you have proven me wrong by being the one to give the academy a headache instead," Terran said, chuckling lightly.
"That's what I do, master. I cause mass stir and sparks," Alec replied.
"The academy tried to recreate what you did, but they have lost a lot of mages in this battle. Now, the mine has no main owner. It has turned into a three-way battle between the Orcs, academy, and tree lifeforms."
"And in order not to attract the attention of mid-level powerhouses, they have only allowed Tier 4 mages outside the city for the main time."
" I also heard that stupid root found a Tier 4 plant lifeform that agreed to serve it due to benefits it has promised , which was not in our calculations. Things have turned quite chaotic due to your achievements,"
Terran explained, and Alec cursed as he realized that this was all happening because of the greedy captain who coveted there achievements and what the mine could bring him in terms of position.
His actions had spoiled Alec's plan.
He had made plans to carry out another heist at the mine without having to deal with any other person except the Orc villages.
And since he had dealt with them before, he was well aware of how to escape their pursuit.
After all, even the Orcs were avoiding a large number of people knowing about the mine.
This little problem occurred because the root was hell-bent on killing Alec
And the captain knew the Two races wouldn't chase after a small group of students for something without value, as They even crossed the shooting range of the city gates' arrows.
All of this was prompted by the stupid root, and that was what made the captain decipher what happened when he saw them with a large sack of power stones.
If the root hadn't been involved, Alec would have been able to escape without being caught up by the Orcs, leading to such a situation.
"Many will come for you now. Are you afraid?" Terran asked, grinning.
"Hell yeah, I'm afraid they won't come. As long as only Tier 4 mages are allowed now, they can all come at me. I don't mind showing them how crazy I can become when I'm pushed into a corner,"
Alec said, a large smirk on his face.
"You're going back into the Abyss again?"
Terran asked, a little surprised, He had never seen someone so obsessed with facing life-threatening situations in the Abyss with a smile on their face like Alec.
"Yes, master. It's so boring here. Only the greenhorns stay in the academy. The real powerhouses stay outside, spilling blood all the time. That's why the seniors are rarely around."
" The academy is called War God, for God's sake. The only reason other seniors stay here without diving back into the Abyss is either they're nursing injuries or they're cowards who only want to impress the first years,"
Alec replied with such confidence that it made Terran chuckle again.
"Just stay alive out there, and good luck," Terran said as Alec bowed towards his master before walking out of the castle.
