The Golem Mage

Chapter 302: Conspiracy Part 5

The scene quickly changed, and in that instant, the Patriarch of the Gordons could be seen calmly griping the neck of the Fridall’s clan’s sixth elder.

He stared into his eyes, attempting to invade his memories with his mental energy.

However, when his mental energy entered the Sixth Elder’s mind, he was met with a blurry image.

Enraged, the Patriarch angrily threw the Sixth Elder’s body far away.

"I thought that maybe, for once, you would be able to come out with your chest puffed out, But I guess I was wrong, You will always be a coward," the patriarch seethed.

"I can’t believe i met with another of your clone, you better not let me get my hands on you, or I will tear you limb from limb."

The Sixth Elder of the Fridall’s clan burst into laughter.

"You can make all the threats you want, but I would be a fool to come out when you are trying to kill me, and the still truth remains that you are unable to kill me, not now, not ever, You will live in fear, always knowing that I will come for you."

"I don’t mind trying again, as long as I get revenge for my son!" the Fridall clan Sixth Elder declared.

"How dare you speak of revenge when your son and your whole clan were the ones who betrayed my grandson and my clan after the Blood Moon War. Your whole clan even decided to join forces with the dark Guild to try and wipe us out," the Patriarch retorted.

"You made a grave mistake by going after my clan," the Patriarch concluded.

"Why all the unnecessary talking?, We all know my motive now is revenge, Why must you make it seem like you are the only victim? Only the strongest have the right to judge between right and wrong,"

" and for now, you are stronger than me. That’s why you are able to restrain me," the Fridall’s sixth elder explained.

"But I advise you, it won’t always be like that. A time will come when you won’t be able to sleep in peace. And even as we speak, I already have a plan in place. One of your clansmen, someone dear to you, will die soon. And you won’t be able to do anything about it," the Sixth Elder declared.

"What!" the patriarch exclaimed.

As he turned towards the Fridall clan mage, he realized that his eyes had closed. When he approached The Sixth Elder, Enjoy exclusive content from NovelBin.Côm

He realized that the Clone had poisoned itself.

"And with that, I lose any opportunity to gather information! Let’s go," the patriarch said, dashing forward into the air.

His two golems, who had been keeping the Blade Mage in check, also pushed the Blade mage backwards and flew alongside him.

Upon seeing them leave, the Blade Mage sighed in relief.

He had always heard about the powerful golems known as the "Big Three" belonging to the Gordon patriarch.

Though he had previously looked down on them as they were a weaker clan than his own clan, today he had been proven wrong too many times.

Even with just two golems, they had effortlessly kept him in place and toyed with him.

The embarrassment of facing his companions and explaining his defeat weighed heavily on him.

Little did he know, they too felt the same embarrassment after losing to the Grand Elder of the Gordon clan.

Their only stroke of luck was that the Gordon clan had no interest in killing them and only desired to rescue Silas and allow Aurora to escape.

"Tell me, what really bothers you?" Terran asked Alec, who sat opposite him.

"Me and my brothers would like to go back in," Alec said nervously, unsure of how Terran would react.

"What? Go back in? To where?" Terran questioned, clearly confused.

"Back into the Abyss Realm."

"What?! Do you realize how dangerous that place is?, It won’t be like last time when there was a Blood Moon and most of the Orcs squad were out battling against the human realm, The chances of dying are really high considering you are not even a Tier 3 Mage yet."

"And you’re telling me you want to go into the Abyss Realm?" Terran asked, even more bewildered not understanding his disciple’s reasoning.

"I’m sorry, this might come as a shock to you, but our progress at the peak has been very slow, If we ever want to become Mages worthy of respect..."

"Then we can only find our own battlefield and fight, fight till we burst out our inner potentials, We really hope you would agree to our demands."

" Believe me when I say this, Master, we know what we are getting ourselves into, and this time we will be going prepared," Alec explained.

Terran stared at him, using one hand to support his jaw and rubbing his forehead with the other due to stress he was feeling just hearing this .

He had always known Alec to be stubborn, but he never expected that the first time he would witness it would be for a trip to the Abyss Realm.

The same Abyss Realm he had tried his best to keep Alec away from after that last incident with Igor, but the Abyss was now the place Alec wanted to go to.

After much deliberation, Terran sighed and decided to support him.

"Well, I agree, but I hope you know that I won’t be able to help you the moment you step into the Abyss Realm. The Orcs still have me on their wanted list."

" I was only able to risk it last time because of the Blood Moon, knowing that most of the strongest Orcs wouldn’t be around. But if you enter the Abyss Realm now, I won’t be able to come for you. Instead if I ever step in, it will be me in danger."

Terran finished with a slight laugh, and Alec joined in before stopping after a few seconds.

"You don’t have to worry about that. I promise we won’t cause as much trouble as last time," Alec assured him.

"I hope so," Terran said as he patted Alec’s shoulder.

--

Alec walked out of Terran’s castle and was met by the whole gang, who had gathered at the entrance to block his way.

"So, how did it go? Are we going to the Abyss Realm again?" Arthur asked, with everyone staring at him with puppy eyes.

Alec started giving them disappointed faces before confirming their hopes and telling them yes.

They all jumped and shouted in celebration.

"I can’t wait to try out my new spirit equipment, I have been anticipating this day," Knight boasted, but immediately felt everyone’s stare, except Agnes’, on him.

Alec had only been able to create two complete sets of Spirit Equipment due to the limited number of alpha wolves Carcass they had.

The others had been quite jealous of Knight’s good luck in being chosen by Alec early on.

No one dared to mention Agnes receiving the equipment, or else they would be in for a beating.

But now that Knight had the audacity to open his big mouth, they all pounced on him, raining down punches as Agnes watched from a distance.

"He is such an idiot, riling them up like that," Agnes commented.

"Let them be, They can use all that anger on the next beast or orc we encounter," Alec said with a slight smile as he watched their fight.

"Beat him with mana fists! This bastard now has a tough skin, Small punches only tickle him," Arthur suggested.

"How can you be so cruel?, We are family!" Knight wailed under the barrage of punches from his frustrated companions.

Even Terran watched from his window, sipping his wine.

"Most of my old disciples would stay away from danger, But you run towards it. Hmm, don’t die on me now, Alec," he remarked to himself as he continued observing their scuffle and enjoying his drink.
