The Golem Mage

Chapter 252: Evil Sects Makes An Appearance (1).

Somewhere else in the Abyss Realm, three mages lay sprawled on the ground with various wounds on their bodies.

They watched as someone else stood on a pillar not far from them, in a meditative position, practicing his Mana Circulation technique.

"You bastard, kill us if you dare,"

one of the mages mustered the strength to say, attempting to stand up.

However, the mage on the pillar snapped his fingers, causing the earth beneath to transform into sharp fangs, biting into his legs and forcing him back down.

" Ahhh!" the Mage howled out in pains

The mage on the pillar turned out to be Alec's senior and Terran's senior disciple, who managed to stay alive amidst the chaos.

He was adorned in a complete set of (Peak) Tier 5 beast armor, paired with a matching gauntlet.

It was evident that he possessed a full Spirit Armor set, even with weapons included.

Igor had assigned the three mages to take care of him, intending for them to eliminate him discreetly.

However, the current situation did not align with Igor's plans.

"You, you despicable bastard," one of the mages pointed and accused him

"you clearly have the battle power of someone ranked in the top 10 of the Earth Board Ranking, and you are hiding this fact."

Despite the accusation, the mage on the pillar paid no attention, not even bothering to look in their direction.

"How stupid are you to think that those on the list are the only strong people in the Academy?" Terran's top disciple scoffed.

"Idiot, the real powerhouses are the predators who conceal their strengths, waiting for the perfect moment to strike."

He dismissed the others with a wave of his hand.

"The rest of you can have fun playing house with your stupid ranking board."

As he stood up and began walking away, one of the mages laugh loudly.

"It doesn't change anything, No matter how much stronger you are, you're still someone they would want to kill because you're under Terran."

His words carefully chosen, as he continued.

"That indirectly makes you a member of the Mad Dog faction., They would never allow someone as talented as you to go free, Your ability to defeat us would only makes them even more wary of you."

The mage whose legs were bitten by the earth fangs spat in anger and retorted

"And the fact that you're not killing us just confirms my prediction, You're scared and hoping we won't report our defeat out of pride, Pathetic!"

Terran's top disciple stopped and turned back, his expression filled with scorn.

"This has always been my problem with you, Why do you always have to act like a smartass?"

"For your information, the only reason why I'm not interested in killing you all now is because my instructor is not in the academy.,And," he snorted

"I know that each Great Instructor leaves a Karma mark on their disciple."

"Killing you would only lead to me becoming an open GPS, making it easier for them to track me down and provide them with an excuse to kill me," Terran's top disciple explained.

"What a joke!" he scoffed, his voice filled with disdain.

"A bunch of bullies and pussies, If they're so tough, they should go talk to Instructor Terran instead, You guys should thank your lucky stars that I'm in a good mood."

He laughed sarcastically, dismissing the notion of the top 50 rankers.

"Top 50 rankers, my foot."

With a wave of his hand, his beast armor magically disappeared back into his body as he walked away.

His hands casually tucked into his pockets, his nonchalant attitude infuriated the mage who had dared him to kill them.

Meanwhile, in Latvia City, the city walls were now brimming with city guards.

A few kilometers outside the city gates, various clans and organizations that planned to partake in the Blood Moon war had taken their positions on their respective Tier battlefields.

The nervousness in the air was palpable as the city guards stood in their fitted armors adorned with the city flags symbol.

"I really hate this type of waiting," Terran grumbled.

"Why can't the Blood Moon just start already?, Do I really have to wait before I get down to business?"

Terran complained from the top of the mount where he sat, yawning and displaying a rare carefree attitude for a mage.

Facing the Blood Moon was not something mages took lightly, as there was always that looming fear of death, the uncertainty of returning.

"I really cherish your confident attitude," Instructor Walter said with a gentle smile, attempting to boost morale.

However, Terran simply glanced in his direction, not bothering to pay attention to the other mages of The War God Mage Academy.

"Why should I care about the morale of people who are too scared to continue, scared to fight, scared they might not make it back?"

Terran responded, his tone filled with indifference.

"I respect you, Instructor Walter, but today..."

Terran's voice trailed off as he looked towards the location of the space gate.

However, it had not yet appeared, and yet he could sense that something was very wrong.

With his heightened affinity for the earth element and his barriers for manipulation already broken, he felt a pervasive sense of unease without understanding why.

"What is the problem?" Instructor Walter asked, noticing the worry on Terran's face.

Suddenly, with a swoosh, the Red Blood Moon appeared in the sky and the space gate began to open, it's speed even faster than normal.

The mages speculated that the second Dimension creatures must be burning resources to enlarge the gate at an accelerated pace.

But Terran's worried expression persisted, even as the gate continued to open.

"What did you do?"

Terran turned and pointed at Maze, who frowned in response and cursed.

"What do you mean, what did I do?" Maze retorted.

"I believe you must have tampered with something, There is something incredibly fishy here," Terran stated firmly.

"Hey, Terran, you have to stop now, We can't sow these seeds of doubt just minutes before the start of the war,"

Walter whispered, trying to calm Terran down and prevent another dramatic confrontation.

Walter, knowing Terran better than anyone else, understood that Terran wouldn't hesitate to engage in a fight with Maze if he felt unsatisfied with his reply.

"Why the hell do you have to accuse me? I respect you for your title and your contributions towards the human race, but if you want to be unreasonable just before we face the breakout creatures, count me out," Maze exploded, his anger flaring up.

Just as Terran was about to respond, his attention was drawn back to the space gate.

All the mages who had been observing the drama also shifted their focus, surprised by what they saw.

"Hmm, horns?"

This thought echoed in the minds of nearly every mage as they witnessed two massive horns protrude from the space gate, accompanied by an overwhelming aura.

In that moment, Terran forgot his argument with Maze, raising his massive great sword and steadying himself on his mount.

Normally, he would prefer to eliminate any potential traitors before the battle, sensing a betrayal among the city mages' group.

Though his primary suspect was Maze, Terran hadn't been given enough time to figure out why his danger sense was screaming at him.

For Terran, this feeling of unease was not a simple matter, as the danger he sensed extended beyond himself.

It encompassed the entire city behind him.

"I know why the gate's energy has changed now!"

Terran suddenly spoke, startling even Walter, who stood by his side.

"Take a closer look at those horns, Instructor Walter, You should have realized that the ownership of these space gates has shifted, and the new owners are incredibly powerful,"

Terran said, his expression serious.

As Walter took his time to study the horns protruding from the space gate, his eyes narrowed.

Finally, as the creature behind the horns emerged fully, struggling to push its body through the expanding space gate, almost every mage gasped in shock.

"Minotaur!" Walter whispered, finally understanding the source of Terran's uneasiness.
