Chapter 242: I'm afraid you are the ones who have nowhere to escape
"Irina, you're finally here. We've been looking for you for a long time!"
Harry saw Irina coming out of the girls' dormitory door and quickly greeted her.
Irina smiled sheepishly and said, "Sorry, sorry, I just had something to do, so I had to go back for a while. Let's go without further ado."
Originally, Harry and the others wanted to say something, but seeing that Irina was ready to leave, they nodded and quickly walked out of the Gryffindor common room and headed towards the castle gate.
In less than five minutes, the four of them arrived at the gate of Hogwarts Castle.
Irina waved her wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on herself, while Harry, Ron, and Hermione hid under the Invisibility Cloak and headed towards Hagrid's Hut.
When the four of them walked down the stone steps and came to the venue, the setting sun had already fallen behind the Forbidden Forest, and the afterglow of the setting sun dyed the treetops golden.
"You're here."
After Irina knocked on the door of Hagrid's hut, Hagrid opened the door as if he had expected it and let the four people in.
Harry looked at Hagrid with some concern and said, "Hagrid, I heard that someone from the Ministry of Magic is coming to test you today."
Hagrid sat on a bench the size of a small table, making tea for Irina and others. There was no trace of tension on his face.
Hagrid smiled and said, "Don't worry, Harry, it's just a formality. Once they know my ability in Care of Magical Creatures, they will definitely reinstate my qualifications as a professor."
Hagrid looked very comfortable. Having been wronged many times in just fifty years, this was the first time he experienced the feeling of being a person with connections.
This feels really good!
Seeing that even Hagrid himself looked relaxed, Harry and the others' tense minds relaxed a little.
They chatted and laughed while waiting for the Ministry of Magic to arrive.
Ten minutes later, Hagrid suddenly stood up and looked out the window: "They are coming."
Irina walked quickly to the window and saw a group of people walking down the steps of Hogwarts Castle in the distance and heading towards Hagrid's Hut where she was.
Among the group of people, walking in front was Professor Dumbledore, his silver beard shining in the setting sun; following on his left was Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge, and behind the two were several officials from the Ministry of Magic.
"You should go now," Hagrid turned and said to the four people, "You can't let them see you here, go!"
Irina nodded and had no objection to this.
So Hagrid walked to the back of the house, opened the back door leading to the backyard, and let Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Irina leave through this door.
After leaving Hagrid's hut, Harry muttered, "I hope it's really like Hagrid said, just testing Hagrid's skills, and I can restore Hagrid's identity."
Ron was still a little worried, and he walked forward somewhat uneasily.
Just as Harry and others were about to return to Hogwarts Castle, Harry suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong, Harry?"
Ron on the side asked in a somewhat strange tone.
Harry did not answer Ron's question directly. He was trembling all over, with a look of disbelief in his eyes. He slowly raised his right arm and pointed forward: "Look there!"
Following Harry's arm, Ron and Hermione were also stunned.
More than a hundred meters in front of the four people, a figure in a black wizard robe was standing there quietly, his eyes full of murderous intent and madness were staring in their direction.
The face under the hood of the black wizard robe was none other than the fugitive Sirius Black who appeared in the newspapers every day! "Black! Expelliarmus!"
At this moment, Harry, recalling the news he heard in the Three Broomsticks Bar that Sirius Black killed his parents, could no longer control himself. He roared, waved his wand, and cast a Disarming Spell at Sirius.
Faced with Harry's slightly immature disarming spell, Sirius dodged it by simply turning slightly sideways. Sirius did not stay for long, but turned around and ran away quickly.
"Stop, you damned traitor!"
Seeing the enemy who killed his parents, Harry's eyes seemed to turn red. He seemed to have lost his mind and threw away his invisibility cloak and chased in the direction of Sirius.
"Harry!"
Ron and Hermione were shocked, and they ran up quickly, trying to catch up with Harry, who had lost his mind.
Ron and Hermione knew how powerful Sirius Black was, and they also knew that what Harry was doing was tantamount to committing suicide. As Harry's best friends, they had to stop Harry! The two threw their invisibility cloaks into the air, and then frantically chased after Harry.
Irina, who was left behind, raised her hand to catch the invisibility cloak that fell lightly, and laughed in silence.
Irina folded up the invisibility cloak and put it away, then walked slowly towards the Whomping Willow.
According to the agreement between her and Sirius, Sirius would first take Harry and the others for a long run around the edge of the Forbidden Forest, and then go to the Shrieking Shack through the Whomping Willow.
Therefore, there was no need for Irina to practice long-distance running with Harry and the others. She could just go to the final destination and wait for them.
When Irina came near the Whomping Willow, Sirius just sneaked with Harry and the other two into the Whomping Willow's attack range.
Sirius just raised his wand, and a stone flew up under the effect of the levitation spell and hit the scar of the Whomping Willow, while Sirius himself quickly drilled into the entrance of the secret passage and went to the Shrieking Shack.
Seeing this, Harry and the other two following Sirius naturally plunged into the secret passage without hesitation.
After the four people, Irina came to the entrance of the secret passage. She seemed to have thought of something. She first took out Harry's invisibility cloak and placed it on the ground, then she went into the secret passage and chased after the four people.
…
At this time, Sirius had returned to the Shrieking Shack, and Harry and the other two followed him in through the door.
"Black, there's nowhere to run!"
Harry pointed his wand at Sirius and growled.
Sirius turned around at the end of the Shrieking Shack, showing his yellow teeth. He chuckled and said, "Expelliarmus!"
Sirius waved his wand suddenly, and three red beams flew towards Harry, Ron, and Hermione respectively.
The three disarming spells cast simultaneously caused the wands in Harry and the other two's hands to fly out of their hands at the same time, and they flew to Sirius' feet and were picked up by Sirius.
"But I think you are the ones who have nowhere to escape!"
Sirius showed a playful smile.
