Chapter 156: The teacher teaches you to practice Avada Kedavra
Hearing this, Lynn smiled bitterly and said, "Master, this was too sudden. If I had reacted slower in this moment, I would have been directly defeated."
Green chuckled and said, "The battlefield changes constantly. If I give you time to prepare, who will give you time in a real battle? Dumbledore told me that the British magical community in the future will not be peaceful, like your master. What I can do is try to improve your ability to protect yourself when facing danger."
Lynn nodded slightly, knowing that his master was right.
Green waved his wand and brought Lynn back to the small room they were in earlier.
Green sat on the sofa and appeared much more serious.
"Tell me, what's going on with the Fiendfyre Curse?"
Green asked in a serious tone.
Lynn smiled bitterly and then briefly explained to Green how he and Irina had teamed up to kill the basilisk and destroy the Horcrux during this school year, and why he wanted to learn the Fiendfyre Curse.
He then told Green that he had learned the Fiendfyre Curse and other dark magics at Rowle Castle half a month ago.
Green looked at Lynn thoughtfully. "Are you learning dark magic to protect your friends? This reason is still justified, but did you really manage to cast the Fiendfyre Curse silently and without a wand in half a month?"
Lynn explained, "You know I have a very high affinity for flames. Although Fiendfyre is essentially a curse, it's still a type of flame. So when I release Fiendfyre, it feels the same as when I release regular fire. The magical flame is not much different. From there to here, I successfully cast the fire curse silently and without a wand."
Green nodded slightly and then asked, "Alright. So, besides the Fiendfyre Curse, what other dark magic have you learned?"
Hearing Green's words, Lynn suddenly seemed embarrassed.
Lynn scratched his head and said, "I've learned everything I should and shouldn't learn..."
Green frowned and asked, "What do you mean by that?!"
Lynn shrugged, "I've learned all three Unforgivable Curses... but I haven't used them yet..."
Upon hearing this, Green immediately straightened up, his expression serious.
But soon, the serious expression faded and was replaced by deep helplessness.
"Well, since you've learned them, you will have to use them eventually. Instead of practicing the Unforgivable Curses on your own and causing a violent reaction within yourself, it's better for me, your master, to protect you personally."
Green sighed and stood up.
"No way, who allowed me to take on a student like this?! What else can I do? I guess I have to pamper you!"
Looking at Green, who stood up, Lynn suddenly looked at him in disbelief. "Master, you mean... you want to personally take me to practice the Unforgivable Curses?!"
Green sighed again and said, "In fact, almost all powerful light wizards have mastered the methods to cast the three Unforgivable Curses, but they never use them on innocent people."
"As my student, you naturally won't be mediocre in the future, and the Unforgivable Curses are something you will eventually come into contact with. However, the time I originally expected was for you to become an adult, but now this moment has arrived earlier than expected."
"The reaction of the Unforgivable Curses on the caster is much greater than with other dark magic. It's even more dangerous than the Fiendfyre Curses. Since you've learned them, I will make sure that your mind remains strong when you practice them and are not eroded by them."
"Then, promise me you will never secretly practice the Unforgivable Curses when I'm not around. If you want to practice them, I'll accompany you!"
Lynn couldn't help but feel his eyes grow moist upon hearing Green's sincere words.
Green is the perfect teacher in every sense of the word.
He's powerful and wise, guiding Lynn to grow stronger; he's kind and gentle, always thinking of Lynn. He's open-minded but not rigid. After Lynn learned dark magic, his first thought wasn't to stop him. Instead, it was to ensure that Lynn's dark magic would be controllable and not backfire on him.
Lynn could say he was very fortunate to have such a teacher.
"All powerful light wizards master the Unforgivable Curses?"
Lynn nodded thoughtfully.
Yes, even Dumbledore, known as the greatest light wizard of this century, can still wield Vulcan well.
Dumbledore's Vulcan Fire and Grindelwald's Fire Shield are variants of the Fiendfyre Curse. Isn't the Fiendfyre Curse a dark, malevolent magic comparable to the Unforgivable Curses?!
This also confirms that what Lynn said in Dumbledore's office was true.
There is a completely different difference between not having a sword in hand and having a sword in hand but not using it!
Although these powerful light wizards are unwilling to plunge their swords into the chests of innocent people, it doesn't mean they don't have a sword in their hands that can protect them.
"Follow me," Green said calmly, grabbing Lynn's wrist with his left hand, "Disappear!"
Lynn felt his vision darken, and in the next second, he found himself in a filthy alley.
This small alley was much dirtier and more dilapidated than Knockturn Alley in the United Kingdom.
"Master, is this...?"
Lynn looked at Green beside him with some confusion. He believed his master would never harm him.
Green said concisely, "Not only do we have a meeting place for dark wizards in the UK, but we also have one in France. This is Nocturnus Alley. In British terms, it's Knockturn Alley. This is the darkest place in the French magical world, the dirtiest place where dark wizards gather. It's the most filthy and chaotic, even the Ministry of Magic can't put their hands on it!"
Lynn nodded and asked, "So, is my training goal in Nocturnus Alley?"
Green said indifferently, "The people who live in Nocturnus Alley are all heinous dark wizards. The crimes they've committed are atrocious. If they were placed in the UK, all of them would be sentenced to life in Azkaban, or even directly given the Dementor's Kiss! There are no innocent people living here. If there were, the dark wizards would have eaten them alive. Nocturnus Alley is a refuge for dark wizards, but if the dark wizards here aren't 'dark' enough, they'll become someone else's dessert, do you understand?"
Lynn nodded again and said, "Understood, everyone I see here can die."
Green nodded slightly and said, "Yes, but it's better not to use large-scale magic, otherwise it will attract the attention of other dark wizards in addition to the target. It will be difficult for us to escape without the Anti-Magic Scepter. And once I use it, my identity will be exposed, and it will be hard for me to explain to the outside world why I'm in a place like Nocturnus Alley."
