The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

Chapter 123: My bed is big and comfortable

In the following days, aside from a few of the Gryffindor cubs, most young wizards avoided Harry, fearing that he might hold a grudge against them and allow the basilisk to turn them into stone, like Mrs. Norris.

Many young wizards continued to talk behind Harry's back, making him feel very uncomfortable.

He didn't understand why they mistook him for the Heir of Slytherin and an assassin who would harm his classmates, despite the fact that he had clearly saved Justin.

If the young wizards had only been gossiping about Harry at first, by the time Harry had asked Justin to talk, and Justin was petrified by the basilisk when Harry collided with him, the young wizards decided that Harry was the culprit.

Even Nearly Headless Nick was petrified, which led to rumors at Hogwarts that anyone who offended Harry Potter would suffer disaster—whether human or ghost.

After all, many young wizards knew that Harry had attended Nearly Headless Nick's anniversary party on Halloween, but had left upset.

In the eyes of the young wizards, this was evidence that Harry hated Nearly Headless Nick.

This strange reasoning upset Harry.

During this time, roosters were being killed in Hagrid's hunting grounds, but Hagrid suspected none of the so-called monsters in the castle. Instead, he thought the roosters were being secretly killed by foxes or vampires.

Since both Justin and Nearly Headless Nick were petrified, by the days leading up to Christmas break, young wizards were fighting to reserve seats on the Hogwarts Express. Even those who had initially signed up to stay at school during the holidays changed their minds temporarily and wanted to go home for Christmas.

Although Irina knew Harry was innocent, she did not sign the form to stay at school over the break at Lynn's request. Therefore, aside from the professors, it seemed that only Harry and his trio—Ron and Hermione—along with Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle, would stay at Hogwarts during Christmas.

Finally, Christmas Eve arrived, and a silence as thick as the snow on the ground enveloped the entire Hogwarts Castle.

While Harry's trio planned to use the Polyjuice Potion to sneak into the Slytherin dormitory, Lynn and Irina had already walked through Hogwarts and the King's Cross station with other young wizards heading home for the Christmas Express train.

"Well, why did you ask me to go out? My parents left for Christmas. If I don't stay at Hogwarts, I fear I won't have anywhere to sleep..." Irina looked at Lynn curiously.

As soon as she was registering to stay at school over the holidays, Lynn had told her he would invite her to spend Christmas with him. But when she asked Lynn what was going on, he said it was a surprise, wanting to keep it a secret.

Lynn shrugged and joked, "I could invite you to spend Christmas at Rohr Manor. I'll whisper to you that my bed is big and comfy!"

Irina blushed and punched Lynn hard on the arm.

"You have something to say," Irina said, "don't drive me crazy!"

Lynn chuckled and said, "Didn't you say last time you wanted poisonous tentacles and Chinese cabbage seeds? During this Christmas, I'll take you to Knockturn Alley to buy some."

Irina was stunned. She hadn't expected Lynn to remember the magical plant she had mentioned last time.

"Well, should we go now?" Irina asked eagerly.

Lynn looked at the sunset in the sky, shook his head, and said, "It's too late today. Let's go together tomorrow for Christmas. Where will you stay tonight? Are you going home?"

Irina replied, "I didn't tell my family I'd be leaving for Christmas. They probably went on a trip. I don't have the key, so I definitely can't go back home."

Lynn invited her, "Then come to Rohr Manor. There are plenty of empty rooms in the castle. You can stay there after we tidy up a bit."

Irina thought for a moment, nodded, and said, "It's better than staying in these expensive hotels in London."

"Follow me."

After Irina agreed, Lynn led her to a corner not far away. The two saw the house-elf Gale behind the corner.

Lynn held Irina with one hand and grabbed Gale's shoulder with the other.

Snap!

Gale snapped his fingers, and with a burst of sound, the three figures disappeared.

In the blink of an eye, they appeared at the entrance to Rohr Manor.

Since Lynn was bringing a guest today, Gale didn't directly take them to the castle but instead led them to the entrance of the manor.

"Your house is so big?!" Irina exclaimed as she gazed at the endless Rohr Manor.

Lynn nodded with a smile and guided her toward the large, eye-catching castle in front of them.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

On the way, Irina noticed a small wooden house on the right side of the path, and there were constant knocking sounds coming from inside the house.

At that moment, Gale stepped out of the wooden house and opened the wooden door.

"Dobby?!"

Irina was slightly startled when she saw the scene inside.

She saw Dobby tied up and lying in an empty room of the wooden house, with food for him placed on the left side of the door.

"Gale, didn't I tell you to lock him in the room below the castle? Why is he here?"

Lynn asked in confusion, remembering that there hadn't been a wooden house here before.

Gale bowed before Lynn and explained, "Master, this troublesome elf named Dobby has been causing disturbances in the castle with various methods. Gale feared it might disturb the purity of the lady, so I took it upon myself to build a small room in the manor to house him, and I requested that the young master punish him..."

On the other side, Dobby, still trapped in the room, tried to free himself from the rope as he shouted, "Let Dobby go! Let Dobby go! Harry Potter is in danger! Dobby must protect Harry Potter!"

Lynn frowned slightly and gave Dobby a cold glance. "As long as you are here, Harry will be in danger!"

As Lynn spoke, a silent, wandless spell linked Dobby's entire body, preventing him from continuing to shout, while another magical force closed the wooden door.

Lynn turned his head, looked at Gale, who had his head down, and comforted him, "You did nothing wrong, Gale. If you let Dobby disturb your mother, that would be a huge mistake. As for this wooden house, we'll dismantle it at the end of the school year, after Dobby leaves."

Upon hearing this, Gale raised his head happily and thanked Lynn.

After meeting Dobby, who had been captured at Rohr Manor, Lynn led Irina to the castle and opened the castle door.

"Lynn, you're back? Huh? Did you bring a guest?"

Rowena, who was sitting on the sofa in the living room, stood up upon hearing the sound of the castle door opening.

However, when she saw Irina timidly following Lynn, Rowena was somewhat surprised. Did her son really bring a girl to the house?
