Without hesitation, he grabbed a trash can, filled it with water, and then cast his line into it. As soon as the float settled on the surface, his expression gradually became more serious.

The others were utterly baffled.

March 7th leaned over curiously, staring into the water-filled trash can. "Ah Guang… are you… fishing?"

Stelle thought for a moment. "It has to be. He literally just said he was going to fish!"

Elysia tilted her head in confusion. "Hmm~ Is he just mimicking the action of fishing?"

Pei Guang had already done so many illogical things that at this point, they weren't ruling out anything. Sure, fishing in a tiny pool of water was absurd, but who knew what Pei Guang's mechanics were capable of?

As they watched, Pei Guang remained completely focused on the water. Minutes passed, and suddenly—

The three girls gasped in unison.

They saw it!

Ripples appeared in the water.

Not just random disturbances—they were circling around the fishing hook.

March 7th, Stelle, and Elysia instinctively held their breath, afraid that even the slightest sound might disrupt the scene unfolding before them.

Pei Guang, however, remained perfectly composed. The ripples swirled a few more times around the hook before something in the water bit down on it.

In that instant, Pei Guang yanked the rod.

And out flew… a fish.

Not just any fish—a fish with rice stalks growing out of its body.

For a long moment, even Stelle was completely speechless.

What had Pei Guang just done? He had fished in a trash can filled with water—and actually caught something?!

March 7th: "Wait… he actually pulled up a fish?!"

Stelle: "That's insane! As expected of Ah Guang—quick, give me a fishing rod! I wanna try this too!"

Elysia: "...Eh-heh~"

As Pei Guang watched the lively, thrashing fish in his hands, his expression turned even more serious.

At first, he had just wanted to test the waters—but the fact that he had actually gotten a result was shocking.

If he could catch fish without bait, then… What could he catch if he used bait?!

After all, his abilities were an amalgamation of countless game mechanics. There was only one way to find out.

Pei Guang glanced at his inventory: there were all sorts of things in there that could be used as bait. After some deliberation, he pulled out a fragment of the Ambrosial Arbor's root. This fragment hadn't been processed yet. 

After hooking it onto the fishing line, he once again cast his line into the water-filled trash can.

This time, he didn't have to wait as long. The moment the hook touched the water, ripples began to appear.

Without hesitation, Pei Guang yanked the line—and this time, he pulled out a two-meter-long, over 200-kilogram fish, radiating an aura of abundance as it flopped on the ground.

March 7th: "W-Wait, wait, wait! Ah Guang, you didn't just fish up a normal catch—you actually fished up… an Abomination of Abundance?!"

Stelle turned to March 7th: "Why are you even surprised? Knowing Ah Guang, forget about catching an Abomination of Abundance—if he fished up a full-fledged Abundance Emanator, I'd still think it was normal." She then turned back to Pei Guang. "By the way, do you have another rod? I wanna fish too!!!"

Pei Guang: "Of course! Come on, let's do this together. I'm telling you, fishing is insanely fun—back when I played Minecraft and Terraria, I spent so many hours just fishing to kill time."

March 7th: "Nice! I wanna try too! I've fished before, but I've never pulled up anything this big! But… hey, wait a sec. This is an Abomination of Abundance, right? Do you think we could turn it into a healing item?"

Pei Guang stroked his chin. "Rather than making a healing item out of it, I think I'd rather eat it… because this fish—" He paused for dramatic effect. "Increases lifespan."
