The next day came a bit longer than I normally remember, but then again we had been working for the better part of the night when the fires of our explosion had receded to a tolerable level to work on the first outskirts of our surroundings.

Digging holes and then inputting the landmines into them was tedious work but since we had tools I had made it was easier, till today I'll forever be grateful for the crafting speed and ingenuity increase that came with my [Crafting] skill.

I had been able to modify the bombs before I gave them out at record time before giving them out.

The landmines outside the camp can now be deactivated, this makes it so that even if someone stepped on them they wouldn't blow up if deactivated.

This was possible after I salvaged enough parts from the crash site, I managed to make a computer, not very advanced due to me using a mash of incompatible tech but by channeling both [Crafting] and [Science] I was able to do it.

Now as I stare at the charred circle of space we made, currently there stood dozens of people in them, almost everyone pitched in to dig and plant the landmines while guards or hunters stationed with guns guarded them through from whatever lurked in the foliage.

Luckily for us though, no grounder has come to see what had happened yesterday and wouldn't know of our little planted devices, I made sure about that by constantly having the [Map] up in my vision at all times.

" I thought I'd find you here..." Came a drawling voice that I knew all too much.

Scoffing while looking at the sun just out of the mountains, it was probably 8 in the morning right now, a good time to see the beauty of nature.

" Clarke, I thought I told you to help out with Monty and the others in the computer room." I muttered turning my head to her with a raised but curious brow.

To that Clarke broke into a smile and rolled her eyes for a moment before scoffing back at me." If you call that room and that bulky thing you made a computer I'm scared for us...plus they don't need me, I'm a medic."

" That still doesn't explain you here." I said staring at a distance having turned from her.

" I wanted to talk to you." She muttered walking closer to me.

" Well, this might be the only time where we can talk without the weight of a looming war over us so have at it." I said mixing in as much sarcasm as I could while being genuine.

" You've been ignoring me...." She murmured, her voice almost whispering.

And to that, I went quiet and simply gave her a deadpan stare that I hopefully showed my ' Yeah, no shit.' demeanor.

" So I wasn't simply overthinking..." She muttered again lower than normally." But why?"

To that, I simply breathed in and looked at her letting the facade that I showed around almost everyone except maybe Octavia crack.

" You betrayed my trust, Clarke. Whatchu think was gonna happen?" I asked her.

She seemed confused about what I meant so I made to clarify.

" Tell me, how did Finn know about the bunker in the forest?" I asked and it immediately dawned on her.

She made to speak but caught herself, her face shifting into understanding and then sadness.

" I didn't think it would matter..." She told me and I just stared at her disappointment in my face.

" Look, Finn was getting reckless and venturing into the woods and I just...I didn't want for him to get hurt out there since he rarely was at camp, I had hoped that him having a place out there would minimize the chances of him getting hurt or killed..." She explained and I listened but seeing the expression on my face she stopped seeing how the immediate mention of Finn spoiled my mood.

" I'm sorry..." She said looking down." Are you mad at me?" She asked seeing that I wasn't speaking.

Hearing that I scoffed and thought of the answer, was I mad at her?

" Mad? Probably at first but now I'm just disappointed Clarke." I said with a sigh staring at the sky for a moment.

" I'm not mad that you told him of the bunker, lord knows that I haven't been there in a while." I told her and she immediately looked up at me.

" What I am though is disappointed that you told him about something that I had entrusted to you to keep secret." Looking back at her I saw that she was on the verge of tears being too overly emotional for some reason." I mean, how am I supposed to trust you with anything now if, at the first chance you get you immediately tattletale to our enemies?"

" What?! No! I would never!" She exclaimed with her tears cascading on her cheeks as she took a step forward only for me to take one back.

To that she immediately paused, hurt in her eyes as she stared at my expressionless face.

" You made a mistake, I can understand that Clarke." I began as I grabbed some tools for landmine planting." If you want me to forgive you though, only your actions can help with that."

Having said that I walked off, helping my people even in the dirty work is never a bad thing after all.

But as I did I looked at a screen in front of me and frowned, I had used [Observe] on Clarke just before I left because I had leveled up the skill two times since I last looked at anyone else status and what I saw made me awed at the new versatility and usage I just found.

' Well that's the best status I've seen since Bellamy...' I thought with a scoff.

But seeing the new additions to her status and her [Feelings] I couldn't help but wonder for a second before shaking any thoughts out of that out of my head and closing the screen.

' I have work to do...'
