Katherine realizing she will have to spend many hours with Jeremy on the road became horrified. On impulse she started chanting and a cute Anna materialized next to Jeremy on the back seat.

The twist however, there is another ghost seated next to Katherine in the front seat. Upon seeing this, she freaked out and pressed the brakes hard. The tires screeching on the road sounded and more cars became huddled together.

They started hooting and shouting at the bad driver. Katherine, the bad driver looked at the woman in old clothing style seated with her back straight watching her closely.

"What in the heavenly realm!"

"Well Hello to you too Katherine. You should move the carriage along, you are blocking the way." The clear polite tone from her sent shivers down her spine.

Katherine drove the car to the side of the road and got out. "What the hell Emily! Why are you following me like a stalker?" Katherine narrowed her eyes at the ghost lady.

"How come I could see Anna but not you?" The question came as a demand while she crossed her arms.

"I'm older and a Bennett witch, there's little I can't do on the other side. Now tell me about those fascinating symbols from the other day, I got so interested I have tried following you but you don't have much that I have spelled." She continues to speak politely.

"The nerve, after conspiring to have me locked in a tomb you think I will give you something? you jest." Katherine folded her arms.

"I don't see why you would be angry with a dead person when you are alive and never locked inside a tomb." Emily said with her own glare.

"Whatever, go back to being dead please, having Bonnie is enough of a bother. I don't want to have to deal with two Bennett witches at the same time." Katherine said.

"I was just silently watching when I was suddenly pulled to this side forcefully I might add. Where did you learn to do magic?"

"I'm of traveler descend. You missy are not welcome in my car. The spell will only last for two days so visit Bonnie or go plant flowers on your grave of something. You hear? NOT welcome!" Katherine got inside her car. About to drive away when she saw Emily getting inside the car and gently closing the door.

"I'm being haunted." She heard light giggling from the back. Seeing the two cozy teenagers Katherine turned to Emily.

"Hey Emily, Jeremy is cheating on your family's last remaining witch. Shouldn't you do something?"

The two teenagers stiffened in the back seat. Emily turned slightly and regarded the two. "Good evening Anna, young Gilbert."

"Hey Emily, is it true that you helped the would be inventor Johnathan Gilbert to spell his campus and you even made him a set of magic rings where he will be resurrected upon death by supernatural beings?" Katherine asked and Emily stiffened. Nonetheless she nodded in agreement.

"Wow. You were like the fairy God mother from the children stories. Turning a mundane clock into a magic device that can point to evil. Making the useless invention by a deadbeat drunk into a priceless treasure." Katherine gushed. Emily turned shy.

Even Jeremy became entranced with the story. It really does sound magical.

"The Bennett are a legend. I met a witch once, his coven is known for their ability to cloak anything under the heavens. He was a very proud lad. He was doing business on the side without the knowledge of his coven which is how I got to hire him. The agreement was he will cloak me and I'll do a few jobs for his family."

"He threatened me with imprisonment if I negated on my end. He said "only with Bennett blood can you escape, that caught my attention. You Bennett have your hands on many pies, which brings me to my point."

"Yeah what is your point?" Jeremy asked.

"Emily, don't you think your family line has been attacked?"

"I mean someone thought it was a good idea to make your family's blood, a key? Doesn't that sound off to you? What if someone let's say an interested party wants a certain prisoner locked up for good? What would be the perfect way to ensure no one is able to open the door?"

Emily's calm face turned pale. "Miss Pierce, please stop the carriage."

"Okay." Katherine said and Emily got out.

"What just happened? Why is she so pale?" The clueless Gilbert asked. Anna shot him a look.

"What?" Jeremy asked looking very innocent.

"Katherine just made her realize her family was being targeted by someone who wanted to end their bloodline." Anna explained patiently to Jeremy.

"Hey Anna, do you know who killed your mother?" Katherine asked with a smile.

"Can you stop?! God, what is wrong with you?" Anna asked, of course she knows who killed her mama.

"I'm bored, that is what the hell is wrong with me. I have a restless spirit." Katherine answered honestly.

"Can't you recite poetry or tell us another magical story?" Jeremy said with a roll of his eyes.

"I brought Anna so she can keep you company not so I can become the story telling lady. Emily, you should get in. We will reach a place where we will need to hike anyways so more air for you then."

The door opened but Emily didn't get in. Katherine sighed and got out.

"Alright, I may have gone too straight with that one. How about some good news?" Katherine asked with a happy tone. Emily looked at her with a gloomy aura.

"I can heal and reconnect what's her name's magical channels. Then you will have two witches and Bonnie will have her mom back."

Emily looked at Katherine for a long time before smiling at her. "Then I must take you miss Pierce."

"It's nothing at all, don't mention it. Hey, we used to be pals you and I." Katherine answered sheepishly.

"Alright, your mood better?" Seeing her nod Katherine pushed her into the car.

"Someone has noticed your actions and they want to know what are your intentions?"

"You haven't been reduced to ghost mail have you Emily?" Laughs in the car sounded as Katherine ignored Emily's questions.

"I would hope not, but they did go through a lot to pass this message."

"Who is it? Your relatives or the Mikaelsons? I know the parents are unaccounted for."

"Both actually. " Emily answered.

"It's very simple Emily, what I want is of no consequence since I can not get it. I want mama's warm embrace and her gentle tone as she tells me old travelers stories. I want my older cousins and my brother's pregnant wife I want them all alive. I can't get them, so i will take what I can." Katherine's tone had turned cold and detached.

Had it been before, Katherine wouldn't have remembered everything with such vivid details but now. She wonders if it is a good thing or a bad thing for her to have an identic memory.

"What would that be? If I may ask." Emily asked with caution.

"Something, spectacular. You shouldn't miss it."

"Let's get bag to you Emily, so if I cure your Becky..."

"It's Ebby." Emily said

"Right, you will let go of the things that happened in the past, Yes?" Katherine smiled at Emily who just gave her the same creepy long stare.

"Gods, could you not stare like that?" Katherine grumbled.

"I will consider it if you promise to protect Bonnie."

"No thank you. It okay for me to have less friends, life is more interesting that way." Katherine continued driving.

"What's so bad about protecting Bonnie?"

"Umm, because she is stupid. Oblivious or just chooses not to see when she is being over used. Come on, the length she is willing to go for Damon, Stefan and Elena is ridiculous. Besides...." Katherine looked at Emily with a smirk.

"Times of unrest is approaching Bonnie will be in the middle of it playing town witch. I plan to go on vacation during that time and ..... find myself, you know?" Katherine said in a serious tone.

"So with all that power, you are going to hide when we need you the most?" Jeremy accused.

"Need me? You're joking right? The way Elena treats me, she will willingly die than be saved by me." Katharine laughed.

"You haven't been very nice." Jeremy said with less confidence. 

"Of course not, do you know who else hasn't been very nice? Everyone of you people. Non of you are good things. Isn't that right Anna?" Katherine glanced at a young looking vampire.

"In any case, I am just ranting. Emily you have traveled far to become part of the chair." Katherine ridiculed

"I have nothing to add." Emily said

"Finally we have come to a Hiking spot. Everyone out of the car. Emily you might want to change your clothes."

"Come on, let nature lead the way. In any case, this is the only way in, this is why I chose this location." Katherine beamed. 

Emily refused to change her dress. Katherine waves her hand and the car disappeared and went back to the warehouse. This surprised everyone but Katharine did not explain.

They walked for several hours and finally saw what was once just a single cabin. More wooden cabins have been built the nearby empty space has turned into a small community. There is a lake nearby. Some old men are fishing there while the children play not far away.

Katharine is always dazzled by the striving community whenever she came to this place. She is still feeling emotional about the scene when a fast person tackled her to the ground. They rolled and reached the grass land, they both have disheveled with grass and dirt all over their hair and clothes.

The red hair woman ran away as soon as she got up from the ground followed closely by a fuming Katherine. "You! Mud dweller, I am going to spank you." Katherine screamed. 

Katharine and her party had been standing on a small cliff where she has imagined watch towers to be erected had this place been a permanent camp. 

"May! You don't grow up do you? Look what you have done?" Katharine screamed as the red haired woman ran away from her. Katharine stomped her foot in anger and when that did nothing to quell her annoyance she ran after her again.

"Jeremy Gilbert. I have seen you before, when I was following Katherine to try and kill her. Whose this?" Rose came up from behind Jeremy Startling him.

"Who are you?" Jeremy asked.

"I'm Rose. Don't tell me you have never heard of me." Rose's thick English accent made Jeremy's heart itch.

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Jeremy widened his eyes.

"Yes. Katharine found me on time an sent me here to train." Rose answered.

Jeremy's eyes couldn't get any wider. "She has the cure for the werewolf bite?" The surprise in his voice is evident. Rose just shrugged. 

"Train for what?" Anna who has been ignored on the side ask Rose.

"She won't tell me. You should come with me to show you into your new rooms." Rose said. The two looked at each other.

"What am I missing?" Rose asked them seeing their reaction.

"Can she stay in my room? She won't be here for too long."

"No can't do. Even the married couples who train are sleeping separate on training days. Only once a week is visiting allowed." She doesn't make the rules any ways. 

"What? I can't believe this." Jeremy's annoyance Is obvious.

"You will stay here, where the male human who is a spouse of one of the trainees live. The cabin has two bedrooms, a washroom, kitchen and this small eating area. There is all the furniture and clothing you will need while staying here."

"Don't eat anything else but the qi food inside those cabinets. The normal food is for the children, the old and the unable. Understand?" Jeremy nodded in dejection.

Katharine sat around a fire listening to a scary story being told by one of the aunties. The children got so scared they scream at the lightest of sounds. Katharine can not believe this place has this sort of atmosphere. She walked along the lake finding the Japanese trainers sitting around a fire of their own.

She was told these guys are professional and that they will produce maximum results in the shortest time possible. They don't seem like good men but if they do their jobs it is fine. She had other options but those had worse reputation than these guys.

They are a supernatural team from the state. 

It is known that the abuse the recruits under their training and use compulsion to make it go away. That could be true or it was because the information was conducted by a man who hate Americans. In any case, she did not want to ignore a clear warning. 

The training was just supposed to enhance the recruits combat prowess while their bodies increase power and speed. The elixir she made for the training here is 12 times what she had given Jenna and Jeremy back in mystic Falls.

Tonight she will perform the ceremony and give Jeremy what he came here for. Katherine will then give him a car to go back home or have him driven there so that he can not trace this location. She is planning on removing it from his memory anyways. Even ghosts can not see the important details of this place. Why would she commit the mistake of letting a brat like him inform his sister and that annoying Bonnie of what goes on here. 

She will give him strength but not as much as what she is going to give to her own people. Elena will one day make him use his power against her. Why would she arm a potential enemy? Moreover, Jeremy is not her friend nor is he an ally.

In any case his fragile human body will not handle too much power. He will lose his mind if she makes him go through more pain then he can take. 

Katherine is well aware of how a human mind can be broken through pain. Which is why even though she has been going at it hard with the elixir to try and gain another tail, she hasn't gone too over board.

Two full glasses two times a day is already considered insane. The more impurities extricated from her body the lighter, stronger and more resilient she will be. The most daunting however, is the fact that her fox blood will be further purified and it's abilities improved.

One of these days she will just scatter drops of her blood and gain hundreds of submissive slaves. Her fox spirit is very powerful but without her tails she will not have access to the mystical powers they provide.

Katherine hasn't used her existing tail in a fight but that may change with Klaus's arrival. She will not be delusional and believe she will easily deal with a thousand year old vampire werewolf hybrid with her current strength.

She went to look for Rose. Katherine had realized soon after her departure that she may have been too arrogant about Rose's sire bond to herself.

Rose is older than Katherine her soul power should be considerably more powerful than the wolves she gave drops of her blood to before. Rose should be able to resist it naturally with her soul and physical power, although her loyalty is still certain.

"Why are are sitting here alone. Haven't you made friends?" Katharine asked Rose who Is throwing stone in the lake.

"I have friends, I was hoping to make a report to you as soon as possible." Rose's accent is really pleasant to listen to, not to mention she is a pleasant person all around. 

"Alright. " Katherine acknowledged that she had been a little too worried. 

"I have been finding these wolves coming here mostly because they are lone wolves and need protection. I couldn't turn away their families when they promised to join your army. News of the hybrid who will force wolves to turn vampire has traveled far and wide."

"How many have we managed to recruit?"

"41 including the original 9. How many are you willing to accept?" Rose asked.

"Let them come. This place is temporarily mine, I am in the process of closing a deal on a resort located in a mountain. I'm bidding against government officials and real estate firms but I have a team on it. The location is just as hidden as this one if not more so."

"I will use runes to secure it completely once it becomes mine."

"All this just to get revenge?" Rose asked. She still wants to see Klaus suffer too.

"Them coming to me an not him is already my win. Even if they don't come to me and hide as deep as they can from him. Him trying to find them and failing will bring me immense joy." Words spoken but the face remains neutral. 

"I think the results of the progress will delight you. Good night." Rose went to find her friends.

"Good night."

Katharine took purposeful steps towards Jeremy's room. She wanted to budge in, but remembering Anna is probably in there she knocked gently.

"I'm enhancing you tonight, get ready. I'll send for you." She could hear accelerated heartbeat inside so she had a good idea of what is happening.

"Why can I only see somethings and can not see other things in this place?" Emily found her and asked.

"I realized there were witches watching me from the other side so I made sure they can't see the important stuff. It's rune language, very handy with things such as intentions, if your motives are not to the best interests of this place or me, then you will only see nothing." Emily kept silent.

"Don't bother with cramming anything about this place, I left no loopholes." Katherine laughed.

"This place is peaceful and full of laughter, there are even children here. What exactly are you hoping to achieve here?" Emily aske her in a straight forward manner. The Katherine she knew would have never done this amount of good without a plan to backstab everyone in here at some point. 

"You have such a bleeding heart Emily. This is why that Johnathan fella used you so easily. You are asking me this question with a blank face but how can I not know my own servant? You think I will use this people to death don't you?" Katherine regarded her with a little amusement. 

"You can understand my misgivings with your character miss Pierce." Emily as polite as ever. Katherine clicked her tongue in annoyance. 

"Obviously you dislike me but your manner of speech is not expressing this at all. If I didn't know better I'd say you are Elijah's little protégée. So poised, you make me want to you anger you to death." Katherine sneered.

"Well, don't worry your dead heart too much Emily. I got them here to have them away from him. I may not be as powerful as an entire army but I can assure you that I do not need meat shields." Katherine bumped Emily's shoulder on the way out almost sending her flying. 

"Honestly, dead witches are the worst." She mummer to herself. She did not see the fond smile on Emily's face. Heavens! People can actually change to this extent? She wish she could tie this version of Katherine to her bloodline. 

Katherine has no idea of the many thoughts her former companion has about her. 

She got to the room meant for graduation of the recruits and started drawing runes on the ground. She spent 3 hours preparing for the ceremony. The floor light up when all the runes have been completed.

Katherine sent for Jeremy and placed the ingredients on the formation. Rose had donated her blood a long time ago. In any case, Jeremy is just human and can not absolve all the power inside the blood.

She showed Jeremy how to sit in the middle of the runes as soon as he sat the lines started moving on the floor. The floor turned into a well oiled machine.

The blood is pumped of all the power from it and the line moving it light up and Jeremy can see all this. The light ends up reaching Jeremy and fused into his body.

Katherine had told his not to scream or move a single inch from his position. It is obvious the pain is getting too much, another line connecting to a bowl on the floor syphon the needed properties inside the doppelganger blood and sent it to The middle of the formation.

The pain shown on Jeremy's face reduces by immense. This process repeats until Jeremy passed out. Katherine left him on the floor. The magic is not depleted, it will help smoothen his body. Jeremy has gone through something very few humans can endure and remain sane. 

The fact he has a supernatural presence laying dormant on his body has curried him through the process. 

The blood from the two sources on the floor dried up and turned into stone like substance. The lines deemed showing the completion of the ceremony. Anna, who has been a lingering ghost saw the bright light deem and concluded it is time to take Jeremy out and into his bed.

Katharine went to rest and failed to wake up in time to observe the progress of the recruits. The trainers didn't wake her. She and Jeremy slept till the evening. When they woke up Anna's form was disappearing along with Emily.

"Good bye Katharine, don't forget to heal Ebby." Emily said with what should be a stern gaze.

"Just go already." Katharine waved. "Gods why did I try to prank Jeremy with his dead girlfriends / ghost stalker?" She rolled her eyes.

Jeremy came in creating small cracks on the floor when he walks. "Katharine, can you make Anna stay a while longer? I haven't spent time with her. I was sleeping the entire time."

"Hello to you too, little Gilbert. No, I can't do it even a small dimension like the other side has rules. Sorry. How was the pain?" Katharine moved on to an interesting topic.

"I don't want to talk about it. But, thank you. Just the physical upgrade is worth it and the speed and power. It's amazing." Jeremy spoke as if he has found some new toy to play with. 

"You're welcome. Tomorrow you will be training with the other recruits. Heads up, not easy." Katherine said not really sorry. The kid need to learn how to use his new power. 

"I saw a group of people training that side. This place is like an army camp. What Is this place?"

"Just a place full of werewolves." Katharine said.

"Maybe Tyler could....." He doesn't get to finish.

"Don't even say that word in front of me. Got it?" Katherine looked at him coldly. 

"Yes. Alright." Jeremy agreed in confusion. Katherine is grateful that Jeremy is distracted enough to not notice the missing Gilbert ring on this finger. Katherine spent the entire day studying it and attempting to replicate the spell. She has vast information at her disposal it shouldn't be too hard to figure something out.

The next day Katherine lead Jeremy toward the trainers cabins. They found them just after a training session. One of the trainers called Haru looked towards Katherine and asked hesitantly.

"Katherine?" Seeing Katherine smile he sped to her and looked at her up and down. 

"What happened to you? You seem ethereal?" Marveling at the obvious improvement on her entire being. Even as she stands there, she gives off a refreshing feeling. 

Haru likes clean women the most. Seeing them turn from neat freaks to being whomever he wants to be gives him the thrill. 

"Why are you surprised Haru, have you not seen the wolf pups? They are growing taller, stronger and faster." Hiroshi said on the side. 

"Yes, I was wondering if we can change our payment from what we had agreed on to this stuff?" Hiroshi asked looking at Katherine with glowing eyes. Katherine can see that he is not really asking.

Looking at the three men before her, she can recognize the greed in their eyes. They probably see her as a fa sheep. They are indeed not good men, she had chosen lesser evil compared to the group that will abuse recruits but perhaps she should have handled the training 

"I have already given Jiro part of the payment in a form of a black bank card yesterday. Are you saying I stiffed you?" Katherine dead panned. She internally sighed, being overlooked and underestimated has always been a fresh experience after coming into this world.

Haru smiled amiably to Katherine and looked at her. He is not a very attractive man, the bolding head doesn't help. "You misunderstand us Kat, we just want to know where do you get this stuff so that we can get it for ourselves." His smile turned unkind. 

"We have already decided to make you talk upon your arrival. We can not compel you but we have all sort of fun ways to make you talk." Jiro said with a nasty grin. He is obviously not patient enough to play along for too long. The thrill of a hunt is too enticing for him. Katherine has seen that look, It appears she is being regarded as a helpless prey. 

These people although not a complete bad reputation, they still have an acquired taste when it comes to habits. She was hoping to be done with them by the time their true nature surface.

Katherine had called them here because she knows how affective their methods of training are. Had they done their work diligently and took their payment like normal business men she would have been grateful.

Katherine sighed. She had hoped this will happen, but not right now when she is at the critical time for the plans she has. To have to do this now is a bit discouraging. She looked at the three men and started speaking in Japanese. 

"I was loosing my touch a bit, too busy entertaining myself with children. You see, they are kind, and even their worst plans involved locking people up. But that is not what you had in mind when you spoke earlier is it Jiro?" Katherine smirked, her fox getting excited. 

Jiro licked his lips and let his eyes roam up and down Katherine's body. He smiled. Seeing this, Katherine walked towards him. Jiro thought she is making a last minute struggle and laughed.

"I am going to enjoy breaking you, Katherine. I will turn you into my toy. All your secrets will be mine to do with as I wish. I will bend you and break you, remake you into my dutiful submissive bitch." His deranged eyes are full of excitement. It is obvious he has confidence in his skills. 

Katherine turned to Jeremy. "Run along for now Jeremy I'll call you." Jeremy seeing the situation is wrong, didn't ask for more explanation and left. Having gotten rid of the child, Katherina turned to the other two. "What about you two, any plans?" 

Hirosh and Haru looked at her with greed. "It won't get to that, Jiro has a talent." 

"Alright. Remember, you can't scream."

Katherine bent her knees and delivered a fast ruthless kick to Jiro's loins making him double over but he got up lightning fast. The two brothers didn't get involved. 

They call it his taming process, where the person fight back and Jiro brakes their will to fight. Some thing is wrong however, the fight in front of them is not going as they had thought it would.

Their brother Jiro known for his cruelty and unbridled speed is being bested with ease. the woman's every punch beaks a bone, she also seems to have ..... claws? They are metallic, when she brandish them, they leave a pink shadow in the air. That is how fast she is, Jiro might as well be standing still and taking a beating. 

Katherine is getting bored by Jiro's repetitive moves. She had spent hundred times more training in the heavenly realm, horning her combat prowess. In the end she clenched her hands into fists and started bashing his head in.

At some point the neck snapped and he fell unconscious or dead. 

The other two came back to their senses when they heard the sound as Jiro's neck snapped with a Click sound.

"Next." Katharine said, the two brothers did not even communicate before they unanimously lunged for her making her grin a blood thirsty grin and met them in the air. 

Several moves later the three of them landed on the ground but the fight did not stop there. Katharine let loose a little and it resulted in the two vampire laying on the ground. One has a curved in chest but he will live while the other had a tilted head.

It is obvious she still needs practice in controlling her strength. 

She has been gulping down the elixir and meditating whenever she can, forgetting that haste gotten strength is hard to control.

This fight helped her realize that she needs a gravity training chamber. She will fight inside this chamber until well adjusted. She soon decided to use heavy bracelet for arms and ankles just like how she was trained as a child. 

It is a little like going back to that point, as she still can't even control the temper of her fox spirit. Katherine smiled remembering Damon picking out pieces of glass from inside his face. 

Seeing the three men on the ground and remembering their plans for her, she decided every queen needs a eunuch or two. Taking them out of the society and having them dedicate themselves to growing her army is a service to society.

She pulled the three men into one of their cabins. She cut open her hand and with force shoved it inside their stomachs one by one. Her blood has been purified by the elixir now more than before, she will not have any problems from these guys again.

Katherine decided to remove the memories of their betrayal from their heads, this way they will think it was their idea to give up their traitorous thoughts and join her cause. Then left them there to sort themselves out when they wake up.

Soon she will pretend to be surprised when they decide to join her fully and become her people. She might not like slavery but one can't kick a gift horse in the face right? also, they had it coming. 

Katharine went to find Jeremy and Rose. She found Rose first resting with the recruits in the wooden chair near the lake. Someone has put a lot of thought into this camp. 

She heard laughter as she approach one of the camp fires she saw a tall werewolf looming over a shy petite blond with bright blue eyes.

He reached out and placed a white daisy flower on her hair. She smiled at him making him laugh and do a back flip in happiness. Katherine stopped seeing a lively atmosphere but decided to move over.

"I see the former drug addicts have made a group. All of you are here. How is training?" The stood up to greed her. Katharine smiles seeing this. 

"Such a poisonous mouth leader, can you say something nice? Look, Tony fancies Bobby. A prospective love story between two powerful packs. Why don't you tell us a rousing speech about the power of love?" May said snappily

"Fine I'll do it. Gather around I have a great story about the power of love. In a world where humans and beasts cultivate the spiritual qi to gain immortality." She began and already she can see sceptic looks from some of them.

"A mortal couple gloved each other dearly. They did not know that a prophecy had come. It stated that their son will be the child of destiny. An interested party found out that the woman has a heaven defying physic that will allow her first child to be born with unparalleled talent for cultivation.

The talent itself will not benefit the woman in anyway. It can be transfer to another person and turn that person into a talented individual.

The interested party told this to the man who would be the father of the future child of destiny. She taught him the way of transferring and taking the talent for himself. She had watched as he took it from her. She had survived the process which is admirable since the process was a form of torture.

Not willing to be reminded of the cruel things he had done to her he killed her anyways. Tell me, do you guys think he loved her?" She asked the stunned people around the fire. They each shook their heads.

"You are wrong, he did love her. But more than being able to hold her every night he longed to hold the sword. It just happened that renowned swort teachers wouldn't bother teaching a talentless miner who struggles to make ends meet. He needed a way to enter that door. The door to the prestigious sword school. He did love her, but he loved the sword more."

"May. 22 years, 5'6 now 5'8. Sober." She cheekily finished her introduction making Katherine roll her eyes. Of course she remembers May.

Not only is she very beautiful, but she has the biggest emerald green eyes Katharine has seen in this world excluding the memories she inherited from Katherine.

May has fiery red hair that has been gaining luster and now looks like fine threads of silk. It is shiny and very thick. 

"Tony, 26 years old 6'0."

"Mike, 21 years old 5'9

"Anabelle 28 years old I haven't checked the height." Her team Mates laughed because the machine I in the weight room. She is just shorter than all of them. 

"June." Emo much? But Katharine doesn't care much to it. 

"Paige and Jake, twins."

"Nathaniel Blake."

"Bobby." A girl said in the end. Blond and looks quiet, but time will tell. 

"Okay I know your name now. Whether I remember them will depend on what happens next. We are going to the training grounds and I'll see your progress. I am not sure about the professionalism of your instructors after today. So how me what they have taught you." 

There is a silent moment before they follow her to the training grounds.

She fight them one by one an gives pointers but she is generally impressed with the progress. She told Rose to take them to their homes. They will be required to come back a week from now to continue their training. 

Rose doesn't have to babysit them, just drop them off and come back whenever she wants. She still has her own training to complete. 

Katharine went back to find the trainers, they seem embarrassed but Katherine knows their apologies are because they are sired to her now so she told them to do their job diligently and left with Jeremy. 

"You're awfully quiet back there." Katherine teased. Jeremy just sighed and remained silent. 

"Are you regretting your choice?" 

"I chose strength and speed after serious consideration. What I am worried about is what are you up to. Are you friend or foe?" 

"Why are you worried about that?" Katharine smiles. 

"Because...." He couldn't remember what he was worried about. 

"You are just tired and should sleep back there." Katherine said in a soothing tone and Jeremy felt tired. 

"Why are you calling? Do you miss me?" Katherine asked in a lazy tone. 

"Isobel is in town."

"I know that is why I am entering Mystic falls now."

"What? How did you know?" 

"Forget that Jenna, do not invite the bitch into the house. Understood?" Katherine sounded serious for once.

"I'm on my way, let me speed up a little." Dropping the call. Katharine hit a person, she knows it's a person because they got knocked on the wind screen, bouncing down and falling on the ground. 

"Hey! Shall I remove your eyes since you are not using them?" Katharine got out of the car and picked up the bleeding man throwing him on top of Jeremy and drove to the Gilbert. 

She pulled out the man and was about to beat the crap out of him when Jeremy woke up. "Matt?" 

"It's him? Why the hell is he standing in the middle of the road like an inept person? I don't care I'm going to go inside. Don't hug him or shake his hand. You might break him since you can't handle your strength right now." 

"Okay." Jeremy is left without knowledge of what to do next should he take him to the hospital? How to do it if he can't touch him? What if he bleeds out? 

"Jeremy is that you? When did you come back I heard you...umm were did you go? I seem to have forgotten it." 

"I have no Idea ask Katharine. Who is this?" Jeremy asked John who seem unsure of how to introduce his friend. 

"Hi, I'm Elena's mom. Isobel Flemming." The lady smiled at Jeremy whose eyes went wide in shock. He soon came to a conclusion that his uncle has been compelled but he has more important things to do. 

"I see, hi. Elena's mom. Uncle John can you put him into the car so I can take him to the hospital?" John and Isobel are confused by Jeremy's quick recovery. John forgets to asks what happened to Matt. Jeremy drives to the hospital, John and Isobel get in the house. 

They find Katherine drinking bourbon waiting for them. Isobel runs and hugs her, Katherine plays along. 

"I found one of Klaus's warlocks and he said he is willing to cut a deal with you." Katharine is able to get the full picture from Isobel's mind. She is surprised by the grand entrance Klaus had planned. 

She still needs him to wear Alaric's body so she will have to undo the compulsion after that. 

Katherine has made sure that important points about her are not remembered for long.

The only person whom she is not able to ensure forgets is Elijah, probably because he is stronger than normal Vampires.

Katharine entertained Isobel and let her go to knock out Alaric.

The plan is tomorrow so she needs to ensure everyone is aware. Isobel apparently has a meeting with Stefan, Elena and John but Katherine is not part of that conversation. She went to check on Jenna. 

Katherine gestured that she keeps quiet until the vampires leave her house.

They laid down cuddling until Elena's shouting quieted down. Jenna didn't seem to want to get up, upon checking, Katherine found out she had fallen asleep. 

After Isobel left Katherine took Stefan and Damon to the Salvatore house. 

"Yep, definitely compelled. She is planning on handing me and the moon stone over to Klaus tomorrow after creating a distraction. She will then kill herself in front of Elena. That is Klaus's grand entrance. Are you impressed?" She looked at the phone an tap it lightly. 

"Not bad. Needs a little more fun fair can we get to the point?" Damon asked impatient. 

"I suggest we deliver what he wants. So his plan will go smooth, or at least appear to be." Elijah suggest. 

The room is silent. Katherine realized what is going on, they don't trust her. She looks into Damon and find out his secret plan with Bonnie. Smiling she decides to leave. 

"What would he wants with you? To kill you?" Damon asked. Obvious in his attempt to changing a subject .

"No. He will want me to suffer first and he will use me to find information on your group. Perhaps I should meet him." Katherine said with a thoughtful look.

"I don't agree with this plan, I heard about how you can't control your beast, what if there's and accident?" Elijah reasoned making Katherine frown. 

"I am very excited to meet him." Katherine said.

"You can wait a little longer." 

"Are we letting Isobel die?" Stefan suddenly asked. 

"Of course not. What kind of question is that? Do you see many Petrova family members running around? I'm gonna smack you..." Katherine sounds outraged. 

"I don't care what happens to her." Elena said.

'Smack!' Katherine smacked Elena in the back and it made a loud 'Pah' sound. 

"Say that again, I dare you." She looked at Elena with fury. Elena took a step back. 

"Alright, as much as that was weird. Let's move on to what was the plan you and Isobel are supposed to follow?" Damon brought everyone back. 

"Isobel will steal Elena, I will take the moon stone and Elena to Klaus and kiss his flea infested feet begging for my freedom." Everyone Chuckled even Elijah. 

"Elijah you do have someone following her don't you? I would hate for her to change the plan." 

"No, Katharina this must be my first time plotting and scheming." Elijah's sarcastic remark make everyone do a double take...did he just..?

"Did you make a joke?" Katherine blinked "Are you alright? Did you misplace one of your suits?..." The tense atmosphere lessoned. 

"I won't be in your meeting about how to bring down the bad wolf, since I'm not meeting him while beating him in his own game I will take Jenna and Isobel out of town." 

"You're running? Unbelievable, after all your declaration of war and long plans you are getting cold feet." Damon laughed. 

"I suppose it does look like that. Well, what can I do? It's not like Damon doesn't have a plan with Bonnie to take out Klaus that he is not sharing with me.

Or Elijah's witch buddies, who knows what they are cooking? I am that guy, right? The double agent that you are not sure whose side their on? Fitting, since I couldn't care less." 

"Damon is spiraling, he will hurt someone in that state. Did Bonnie ever find the possible you know what?" She looked at the people who were looking at her with measured guilt. But the silence that followed really pissed her off. She just wanted to know if Elena found a way to come back to life.

"Oh? I can't know even this? Alright. Since I have been milked for all that I am worth, I'll be leaving now." She turned to leave. Took her phone and changed it from speaker. 

"Hey Elijah, what are you wearing?" The pissed of tone is now that of a hooligan.

"Umm," the change is too fast for Elijah he just got caught off guard ."hehe.." She laughed happily hearing his uncomfortable voice. Just when she is about to leave, Elena stopped her. 

"Katherine, I heard you saying you will take aunt Jenna out of town?" Katherine narrowed her eyes. 

"Are you telling me what to do?" 

"No but she is my aunt, and we don't trust you to keep her safe. What if you are still going to do something against us using her? It won't be the first time." Elena said with her chin up. 

"Are you all saying the same thing?" The three of them stood together in an obvious gesture. They support Elena's choice. Katharine is rarely disappointed. 

She took a look at the three of them. She had erased how powerful she is on their mind and they are just getting rid of a wild card. 

"It appears we are at cross roads. Elena, remember when I said the burden of growing up is making your own decisions?" She smiled at her. Elena nodded in affirmative. 

"You have made a decision today, all three of you have. I think it best I go tonight. I am a wild card after all." She turned but Stefan stopped her.

She turned with a blank face but inside she is wondering if they regret it, has she not been working hard making amends for nothing this entire time? Will they accept that she is not the Katherine from before and trust her? She can only hope. Stefan opened his mouth. 

"We need the moon stone." 

"Why would you think it's with me?" She raised an eyebrow. 

"I left it with you when I put you in the tomb, who else will have it but you?" Damon asked. 

"Ah yes, that moon stone." 

"Why were you pretending? Just give it back so we can have leverage on Klaus. Don't dilly dally." Damon seems to be enjoyed hurting Katharine. 

"I'm sorry, I don't have the stone." 

"God, I was just starting to feel bad for you, now look, still the manipulating lying bitch I remember." Stefan also got incised. 

"You kids are entertaining. I'm sorry I left the stone in the tomb, I forgot about it actually. If you want it go get it. Manipulating bitch. Ha ha." She left. 

She went to the bridge and sat down on the railing watching the water on the ground.

After letting the sadness wash over her, she went to Jenna and told her everything that is happening and asked for her opinion. 

Jenna is understandably scared about Klaus, and the ritual but she doesn't want to run and hide while the children under her care are in danger. Katherine found Isobel and knocked her out putting her in the car. 

Just when she is about to get in and drive she saw a man walking towards her raising his hands and chanting. She had a long night and in a very bad mood she just sped to him and threw him away. She had a crack sound. 

As the car drove away, a deputy from a sheriff's office came out of the shadow in a corner. Katherine drove back to her warehouse. 

Back in the Salvatore house. 

She is lying, she must be. Stefan kept saying it over and over to himself.

Damon didn't care much, alright maybe a little bit but he is still pissed at her for the torture. He thinks, how did she torture him? Anyways the important thing is to find out if she really left it inside the tomb. 

Jenna know Klaus is inside Alaric's body so she will be careful. Jeremy waits for Matt to wake up. 

"Why were you standing in the middle of the road?" Matt just looked at him but didn't answer. He even turned to the side with glistening eyes. 

"Okay, Well. Good bye. " He turned and left. Matt had gone to Caroline that night and he got all the information about vampires in the town.

The three walked in silent. Damon keeps kicking stones, Stefan is not overly guilty, he will do it again if it meant saving Elena. Elena is just glad Katharine is finally gone and by the looks of it, both brothers agree with her. 

Elijah couldn't sleep after knowing that Katherine had told the truth, she didn't have the moon stone and she even forgot about it. He kept tossing and turning until he just woke up. 

In the same night Katherine carried Isobel to the warehouse and cleaned her head of any lingering compulsion. She then gave her a rune the same as the one she gave Rose.

From this day on wards, no one will be able to get inside her head. 

"Wakey wakey." 

Isobel opened her eyes and her head hurt. Someone kept snapping her neck just to finish a tattoo. 

"I was compelled by Klaus. I was.." she seems to be freaking out so Katharine slapped her face.

"Bitch!" Isobel screamed. 

"Good. You're awake. I made you a tattoo It will protect you against compulsion. It won't heal because it's magical rune language." 

Isobel is still a little tense but finding out she won't go through this again she released the breath she had been holding. Isobel did not waste anytime deciding to leave town. 

Katherine remembers the one person she still owes a ceremony and find Caroline who came with her being more quiet than usual.

"What is wrong?" Katherine asked her without the usual playfulness. 

"I'd rather not talk about it."

"Alright. Sit in the middle and Caroline, You can't scream." Katherine used Elijah's blood to enhance her overall strength. Caroline went through 5 times what Jeremy went through, she couldn't scream and moving around would mess up the magic.

Seeing her will almost shatter, Katherine had to constantly pour her spirit power into her body. If the magic was like magma boiling her from inside and outside, the occasional spiritual force is like cool water on her skin. The process this time was grueling and tedious but it finally ended.

Katherine took her body and brought her back to her house. She left silently. 

Katherine called Elijah. "To what do I owe this call?" 

"I was wondering if you could give me more blood." 

"Did you use the one I gave you last time? On who? Because Caroline looks the same."

"Have you been piping on the child?"

"Not piping. Can I interest you on clearing something up for me?"

"Sure, After I get the blood. Can I come over or you are going to meet me somewhere?" Katherine got impatient. 

"You can come over, and bring night wear."

"Funny." Katherine is soon in front of the witches' house. 

"I'm here, open..." The door opened Elijah standing on the other side letting her in. After entering inside she saw a sleepy Luke going to the bathroom, Luke saw them but continued walking rubbing his eyes. 

Elijah took her to the sitting room and sat opposite her. "Why would the Salvatore's be reluctant to work with you, knowing how powerful you are?" 

Katherine shook her head. "They don't know."

Elijah looked surprised, he leaned in to face her "You did something?"

"They are all a bout saving Elena, knowing I have the means to do so, they will exploit and use me. I am strong willed but I have a soft spot for them. So I tweaked their memories a little bit."

"They will value you more if they knew your power."

"They will use me to save their love just like they do not mind if Bonnie loses her life taking on all that power. I may have a soft spot but I am not delusional, I am not Elena, there is only one Elena, the rest is inconsequential." 

"Are you not saddened by their disregard?"

"Men are very complex creatures, I try not to bother myself with meaningless pursuits. I have my eyes on the price." 

"What do I get from giving you my blood?" Elijah's eyes on her intensified. 

"You didn't invite me here just to bully me did you?" Katherine blinked at him adorably.

"Come with me, I'll show you my payment." She stood up, Elijah's heart skipped, he swallowed. However, he saw her go toward the main door. The brief excitement left him and he followed her dejectedly. 

When they get outside, Katherine and Elijah walked leisurely. Katherine stood in the middle of the bridge. "This is my payment." 

Elijah looked around, all he could see is the bridge.

Looking closer, he felt as though struck by lightning. The entire place is made of white oak tree. He snapped to Katherine and found her gazing into the distance with her back to him. 

Elijah sped to her and held her by the throat. Katherine turned around and gave him round house kick to the side. shattering his kidney. Elijah rolled to the ground, he got up regardless of the pain looking at Katherine warily.

"I can understand your troubles, and they will all be wiped away if you take my life. I assure you, I haven't told anyone so if I die here your family's secrets will die with me." Katherine said in laughter. 

Elijah heard the fact she hadn't told anyone and lunged at her aiming for her neck but Katherine can see the miniscule intent in his eyes. He wants to pull out her heart. The look in his eyes is that of ruthlessness. She can not be allowed to live. Having ignited his resolve, Elijah does not hesitate to do his very best. 

Katherine still has the heavy bracelets on but is doing better than she expected in this tight. She takes the hand going for her heart and with a nimble motion plant Elijah harshly on the ground. She has not really taken the initiative but her retaliation is ruthless. 

The ground cave and a man size crater is created on the ground. She twist the arm making the bones on the bicep break and protrude outside the skin. Blood gushed out from the wound dying the ground red. 

"That is my blood you are wasting Elijah!" Katherine giggled. 

He gritted his teeth in pain. Some of the wooden spikes got into his back making him wince in pain. "Careful Elijah, this wood is somewhat special." She stepped on his chest using her knee, making the wood drill deeper into his back. 

Her body is very heavy because of the weights she is wearing. Elijah's mouth sprayed blood on her shirt. Disgusted by the endless spraying from his mouth, Katherine jumped back as if struck by lightning. 

Elijah used the one arm to stand up and tried to straighten his back but the pain from the wood shot up making his complexation pale. He looked messed up. The arm is useless for now, the back is pierced by the white oak and his ribs are shattered from Katherine kneeling on his chest. 

Katherine chuckled. "Come on Elijah, surely you can last longer than this? You have me all worked up but you're already done?" Tilting her head she spoke. 

 "I suppose this is all I can get from an old man such as yourself." She produced an empty bucket and sped to him. 

Does she not know the implications of what she just did? She had indirectly told him that she is aware of how to kill him and his brother. Instead of doing it or even giving this information to Elena's group, she decided to confront him why? 

He looked at her and saw the same playful smile she had eelier. She has gotten stronger again. The last time he saw her she was not this fast.

She is a scary opponent, her moves are calculated and she seem to read intention of the opponent like an expert. 

Elijah sighs knowing he had made a fool of himself.

Katherine uses a claw to cut his wrist and pour his blood inside the bucket. He is shocked to find out the cut is not healing.

Elijah starts to loose consciousness. "You're a mess Elijah, this side of you makes me want to put you in a bathtub and scribe you with a sponge." She hanks his broken arm as it starts to heal itself.

Elijah lets out a yelp of pain. He was about to fall asleep when a wrenching pain woke him. Seeing her laughing at him he really wants to smack her. 

"Tell this princess all your troubles noble Elijah. This princess is generous to promising old men such as yourself." Seeing that his eyelids a dropping again. She attempt to yank his arm but he opens his eyes. 

"Okay, I'll stop teasing you. But you did just attack me for no reason." She poked his broken arm.

"How did you find out?" His voice is raspy full of pain.

"I have my ways, you just showed me we are not friends."

"I won't apologize for.." He didn't finish.

"Hehe, you think apologizing would absolve you of attacking me while I had my back to you? If I had died, would your apology bring me back?" She sneered. "Keep your apologies for somewhere useful." 

He looked at her and realized that in his haste to get rid of an immediate threat, he hurt her feelings again. Just as the Salvatore brothers and Elena did at night.

"How did you find out?" 

"Not gonna tell you. Just obediently bleed out for this princess." 

"The gang discarded you, had you told them about this place you would have gained their trust. So why didn't you?"

"What will I do with their trust? Get called to save the day every time they do something stupid? Or get sacrificed like Bonnie for the sake of Elena's life? Hehe... trust. This princess can do without this type of trust." 

"Why show it to me?" He asked.

"Because this information is more valuable to you. Also it is not just blood i want." The bucket is almost full. Katherine flashed him a sly smile, then he saw a pink shadow and everything went dark.

...

Elijah felt tired, as if he was mortal again his body begged him to go back to sleep but he had to do something. He woke up with great effort. The sun is already about to set. How long was he asleep for?

He finds himself in an unfamiliar, overly cheerful briefs. It has smiley faces all over. He he accidentally pick someone else's after bathing?

After taking a shower he found the father son duo waiting for him in the lounge. He raised an eyebrow. 

"You have slept for two days. The full moon is tonight. You promised to help us get Gretta." The older one said.

"It's tonight? How can I sleep for so long?" Elijah stopped on his track in surprise. 

"Katherine carried you in all bloodied and unconscious then she..." Elijah soon remembered what had happed that morning. He should have woken up with dried blood. But he was even in clean shorts. Elijah got a fright. 

"What happened?" Elijah felt his legs go numb.

"That ..." Luke seemed to be holding in his laughter. His father picked up the conversation.

"She carried you into the bathroom, washed you clean, put you in clean sleeping clothes and tucked you in. I saw her give you a kiss on the forehead." The witch is obviously amused but is holding it in perfectly. 

Elijah felt helpless, she obviously beat him into a pulp.

Why is she bathing him? Elijah looked at the two and made a face they understood too well. Without him even saying anything they nodded. He went back to his room to call Katherine. Her phone never went through. 

He found a note with elegant hand writing. "Are you happy to wake up clean? The noble Elijah is always impeccable." 

She seems as playful as ever, he attacked her and tried to kill her but she is not even bothered. At least that is what the note suggests. 

...

Elijah's witches had presented Elena with the substance as promised, but Damon felt it is not enough so he fed her his blood. 

Tyler comes back to town with Jules to check on his mother and gets kidnaped with Caroline. 

Damon tries to stall the ritual, but Klaus refuses so he brakes into in place to find out where Klaus is hiding the sacrifices.

He has to go to four different locations before finding Caroline who had freed herself and Tyler with the new found strength waiting for the right opportunity.

Damon assist them but Tyler has already turned by the time they get out and bites Damon. 

Klaus turns Jenna and takes Jules for the sacrifice.

The ritual will go as scheduled. John offers himself once again and Elena having less options now that she has vampire blood in her system agreed to trade her life for that of her biological father. 

Damon has been bitten, and is loose on the town. 

The sheriff is finally acting to rid the town of vampires and targeted Damon. Jeremy had just told Bonnie that Katherine has the cure, she had found a way to save Rose. 

Before Bonnie can process the information the sheriff came and shot at Damon, who dodged and Jeremy who didn't see what is going on got shot on the chest. 

"Bonnie just told be that Katherine has the cure to werewolf bite, Jeremy saw Rose when she took him away." Stefan told Elena with his eyes closed in regret.

They had discarded her after getting information on her and now they realize she is more valuable that they had thought. There is no way to go back

During the ritual, The Martin witch came after the ceremony to kill Klaus. Gretta shows loyalty by fighting against her family. She loses and is then taken home. Bonnie attacks Klaus with magic while Elijah backs out of the plan when Klaus confesses that he did not kill his siblings. 

Elijah helpless, betrays Bonnie and take his brother away. 

Now Katherine can not be reached and Damon is dying. There is no cure for regret. 

....

Tony went back home. Can he even call it that? He remembers the hard look his brother and sister in law gave him when he asked them if they are selling him. He ended up better for it but he still can not believe they let a vampire take him. He must have been lower than filth in their eyes. 

Tony stood by the gate not knowing if he should get inside, if he does then what? Be proud of himself? Wouldn't that just be him proving their point that he was better off being taken away from his home. 

His home, he can't help but compare the scornful looks he got everyday in here to the respect he and his comrades command at the camp. Which of the two places is his home? The answer is obvious. 

He took purposeful steps inside already dreading this place. 

"Hey who are you?" A hot blooded young pub stopped him. Tony smiled at his little niece.

"Where is your father?" He asked, the poor child was so shocked to hear his voice she just pointed at her father who is fighting against someone. He walks over, a crowd has formed around the fighters making the place crowded. 

Tony is used to such scenes, wolves like to fight and if they could they would do it all day long and go to sleep. It helps to calm down the rage. Tony was not much of a fighter which is why he opted for the drugs to nullify his senses. 

Many non combatants young wolves are under the same problem which is why Katherine had introduced the 9 forms of art so they can channel this access energy in a healthy way. 

Most wolves are not refined but the younglings can still adapt. Humans are renowned for their ability to adapt. 

"Let me." Tony thanked the guy who is fighting with his brother off the stage. He looked at his older brother whom he always felt inadequate in comparison. 

"Tony?" Many people are not able to recognize him but how can they compare to the brother who practically raised him. 

"Aye, it is me. Give me what you have been doing after getting rid of the nuisance of a sibling. Tony waited in a stance. 

Stan feeling challenged lunged at his brother. The thorough beating that followed left everyone dumbfounded. Everyone thought they are seeing things. 

Similar situations happened in the packs where the 9 recruits belong to. The spectacle left all the leaders gasping. That however was not the end of it. The recruits told their leaders that the offer is no longer on the table.
