Diago looked at the passed out Marcel and at the cowering Vampires in the room. "Marcel did this, he took in the pain of his people so they don't die. That is the type of leader he is. Instead of cowering and succumbing to the intimidation of an outsider, this is the time for unity. We need to stand guard and protect him. This is our chance to repay him, we are being given a chance to return Marcel's good will to us for all these years."

'Clap' 'Clap' 'Clap'

"I couldn't have said it better myself." Klaus came out of nowhere walking towards Marcel on the bed but his path is blocked by Vampires under the guise of protecting their leader. He is angered by their audacity to stand before him.

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow looking at the young Vampires thinking they can stand up to him. He is tired of being overlooked, it seems that no one knows of him anymore.

He attacked without any warning soon half the vampires in the room are on the ground either severed legs or broken spine. Blood splattered on the entire room making for a ghastly scene. He then walked towards Marcel now that no one dared to stand in his way he carried him to his old room.

The room seems to have been occupied by someone else but Klaus didn't care. He doesn't like that Marcel betrayed him but he was also not happy to see him go down in such a mysterious manner. He called Rebekah. Marcel has been inflicted with something Klaus has never seen before, so he needs to be monitored closely. 

"Why would you want me to take care of him?" Rebekah asked puzzled.

"He would prefer you to me after the mess I made of his men downstairs." Klaus said.

"So I am to play nanny at your request?" Rebekah folded her arms in annoyance. Klaus looked at her with the anger from before still radiating from his eyes.

"Fine, I'll do it. You can go and clean yourself up. An checkon Elijah he has been sulking all evening." Rebekah relented.

Klaus left without even thanking her. Huffing in exasperation, Rebekah stayed by Marcel's side while the Vampires clean up the mess down stairs.

The sun is about to come out but Katherine is already teaching nine tails the wonders of art.

May, wanted to do dancing so Katherine started with her lessons since she is pregnant, she drew down the movements that May is supposed to memorize and perform for her at some point. She taught Paige painting.

The target of this whole thing was Paige to begin with so she let the others choose flexible times for lessons while Paige gets extra attention.

This takes place whenever they have time which has been written down and schedules have been made to !Ake sure there is no confusion and doubled booking.

Katherine and the pack has been at it for over a week now, the schedules are inline with her recent avoidance of her husband. Although one might not be clear on who is avoiding whom. 

The point of the matter is that Elijah hasn't come to her and she hasn't gone to him either. Reasons vary but both parties are adamant in their evasion of one another. The conversation over the phone has created space between them and neither wants to take the initiative so it has been a cold war. 

Katherine considers herself a very busy woman, she has a group of mischievous teenagers, May and Mikel to teach the wonders of art to. Not to mention a worried and lonely witch in a remote cabin that she is using to practice handling a witch child by giving her spells and helping to guide her. 

During this time Marcel was incapacitated, the witches doubled their efforts into finding Davina but every time they are blasted back by a powerful attack that knocks them off their feet. Davina would feel them trying but they fail. 

"I can't believe the one to protect me in a time like this is this small object. Can I learn how to make it?" Davina had said with sparkling eyes looking at the ring on her finger but Katherine ruthlessly shot her down. 

"Learn the basics first. I have seen your barrier, it's pathetic. One punch from me and it's a goner." Katherine rolled her eyes. 

"Not true. You're lying to me." Davina being stubborn said.

"I want you to do this one next. It's a binding spell, I want you to undo it right after. If you pull it off, I will teach you a spell you can use in battle. It will accelerate your body which will make you a nightmare for vampires. What do you say?" Katherine tempted.

"I'll do it but you should tell me why." Davina folded her small arms.

"A friend of mine is being bullied by your coven." 

"Is that why you are nice to me?"

"I am nice to you because you are pitiful. I can get rid of the spell myself but I don't want to, so you're up kid." Katherine patted her shoulder.

"Fine, I will learn a binding spell and then undo it in one day. Then I can help your friend." Davina said with confidence.

"Good child. Marcel should be getting up soon, you will have to explain all this stuff in here." Katherine looked around the room that was once shabby but is now full of good furniture, not to mention the painting materials.

"I'll say the fairy god mother gave them to me." Davina joked.

"Good, I like it. Do you think he will be scared or worried?"

Katherine asked the young witch with an amused expression.

Katherine is doing a good deed and learning the fundamentals of handling a powerful child.

Elijah's obsession with her brother has her thinking she might have to do this on her own. She is trying not to be bitter about it, after all, Elijah's dedication is one of the reasons she fell for him. And had she still been without children she would laugh it off, but that is not an option anymore. 

She will not waste her time to argue with him about it since there is no hope to change a man who has allowed his existence to be trampled on and overlooked while he gives for a millennial. She would have a better chance of tuning stone into a pretty flower. 

The evolution elixir is affecting him that way because it is a high level potion and the only other person who drank it is herself, she did not lie to him that day, he needs to grow on all aspects for him to complete the process. 

When Elijah came in he found Katherine walking around a room that has been turned into a studio and there are paintings on the side.

Paige is trying to paint on the side, she has erected a space barrier around her to tune out the sound of the others. Jake took on a zither, Annabelle learnt to play the cello.

Mikel is a general already and can decide if he wants to attend the classes but he will have to show Katherine results of his performance once a week which is why he is also here learning the piano with June.

Nate is studying architecture in school so he will be sculpturing vivid designs for Katherine and he is not limited on the material to use.

"Like I have said before, this week is to ensure you have chosen well, and that your talent doesn't lay at another form of art. You have received your notes, use them to familiarize yourself with your chosen path. Find me if you have questions." Elijah sat outside waiting for her to finish the lesson which took a little over an hour.

Not that he was in a hurry it's just she seems to be disregarding him since he failed his evolution that time. He stood up when he saw her.

She is wearing a soft light pink dress that is imbued with lilies on the lace part of the dress. It make her seem like a young lady casually strolling in a garden of pretty flowers.

He can smell her flowery scent from where he stood, it is being carried by the wind. He closes his eyes trying to focus on it. She smells nice. He misses her rubbing her body on his own like a cat. He wonders if she is mad at him, if perhaps he has disappointed her somehow.

"Katharina." He hugs her and she lets him.

"Elijah." She said lightly.

" Are you already with Hailey or it's because you are angry at me because of your failed attempts at evolving?" Katherine said from inside his arms making Elijah stunned.

His wife is really ruff sometimes. Is this the way to put it?

"I am not with Hailey, why are you even talking about her?" 

"Because you reek of her scent. You have not closed the deal but you have touched her haven't you?" She looked at him with a distant gaze making Elijah very uncomfortable. 

"She said you said...." He kept silent. What does he say? That he kissed her a night ago after they kept bumping into each other in that house? That he wanted to strip her off and ravage her until she begs for mercy? 

"You do have feelings for her then?" Katherine looked at Elijah as he squirms under her gaze. He cleared him throat, and evaded her gaze while changing the topic. 

"I didn't come to you because you had said you will be with me but you didn't come. Why?"

"That house is full of resentful spirits Elijah, I would rather sleep outside than be tormented by their bloodied faces. I am a necromancer like Mikel, but unlike Mikel, I am pregnant, children are sensitive. I also get irritable in that environment." She said leading him inside the sitting area.

"You could have told this to me."

"I thought you are angry at me for all the things I said on that call."

"Should I be mad?" Elijah asked.

"Honestly I don't care. Do you have any idea what I had to go through for you to obtain that elixir? That was before I knew I was pregnant but I worked so hard for you to be able to fulfil your dreams. All you have to do is meet me half way." She said surprising Elijah because he hadn't thought about it yet. He suddenly feels like a selfish man.

"There's something else isn't there? You are not yourself Katharina." He said looking intently at her. 

"You shared your memories of what happened to you but you never expressed your feelings at the time. You went through something testing and I wasn't by your side. You blame me for this but you are holding yourself back, why?" Katherine is the type of person who expresses herself and her dislikes are clearly defined.

"I don't..." She is about to avoid the topic when Elijah tightened his hold on her. Looking into her eyes he can see that she is having an internal battle.

"Wife!" He breath in her ear in a demanding tone, his body pressed firmly against hers. The longer the silence stretches on the hotter her body feels.

"Say something, What is going on with you? You are more quiet than usual, you barely let me touch you and now I find out you are encouraging another woman to make a move on me. Have you not forgiven me for that last incidence?" 

Katherine finally lost her temper. "If only that was all there was to it. Elijah you weren't there for me. They told me even in my semi conscious state I kept asking for you. Which makes me remember that you have always put your brother first, now that he'll have a child you will probably be even more so than before, because who knows how out of control Nicklaus will be if anything happened to that child? So you will be his henchman again." She said with a detached tone making people feel the deep loneliness inside.

"Is this what is bothering you? That I will neglect my children in favor of my pursuit for his redemption?" He is deflated at this information.

"Katharina let me in, I will relinquish my pursuit for my brother's redemption and seek my own happiness from now on. I will not let you down." Katherine made her voice sound exactly like that of her husband. Elijah not knowing how to react kept silent. 

"Can you look me in the eyes and make the same promise? hehe.. The gods must be mocking me. I have already let you in and that is why I am to suffer. I am drowning in panic, that baby will be the end of us. The problem is the father, and you and all your siblings. 1000 years of enemies, once they find out about that child, they will crawl out of the shadows and pounce. As you all are now, you don't stand a chance."

"Don't count yourself out of this, you are also in this mess with the rest of us." Elijah told her but she gave him a mocking smile. 

"So, I have been feeling insecure lately because there is more reason for you to bind yourself to him even tighter now that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Against such odds I don't .....we don't stand a chance." She sounds very tired.

"Kath...." 

"So I want to try and love you less." Katherine said and a deafening silence followed. Elijah clenched his jaw in anger.

"In fact it is better if we interact less from now on so that when the time comes and you leave for good, I don't get surprised and do something....crazy."

She didn't realize that her partial transformation is out, her three tails that normally look cute and inviting are somehow very powerful and domineering at the moment.

This is probably because of their obvious change in appearance. One black and smoking as if on black flames. One white and partially colorless, the space distort around it as it morphed in an out of existence.

The third one gives people the crippling fear that death is coming. Its is black and fluffy, it doe whos have the death aura oozing all around it. 

Elijah takes a deep look at his wife as her eyes look menacingly at him, her entire body exudes power, she takes a step and the ground shakes.

Katherine cracks her neck and looked at her husband with her animal pupils, the fox ears are also out but it is hard for their cute and fluffy appearance to overcome the domineering large tails behind her floating upward in the air like a giant mysterious three pedals flower. It is beautiful and also makes one's heart palpate in fear.

Elijah finally realized why Katherine is pushing him to get strong. How can he be worthy as her partner in his current state?

This woman is dangerous. "Katharina, listen to me. I am your husband and I am not going anywhere you hear? My brother's child is just that, I have my own, inside you lays three of our best work. We are a family you and I, so try not to stomp on your lover with your wrath. Now come to your husband's arms." Tying to defuse the situation but all he gets in return is a feral growl.

He takes a deep breath and try again. No matter what he says Katherine looks about ready to attack him. 

It seems the emotional stimulation of almost losing her kids made her almost go crazy. Syria did not have a partner so this is untethered territory even for a 3000 year old spirit. 

Elijah had an idea of taking off his shirt and standing by the window flooding the room with his scent. Minutes passed by and then finally Katherine's second form reseeded. Katherine finally woke up from her rage like state. Luckily it was just her hormones and not something overly capricious.

"Elijah." Katherine's voice is raw from all the growling. Elijah sped to her and held her in his arm, he took her to the bedroom. They had been in her study before and it is not too far from her bedroom. Elijah got her water.

"What happened?" Katherine asked. 

"What do you remember?" 

"Anger, a lot of anger. Oh gods, I didn't hurt someone did I?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Has something like this ever happened before?" 

"Too long ago to remember. I think It's just the pregnancy." 

"Katherine You have kept too much inside, all those emotions will drown you or kill someone if you keep them inside." Elijah looked at her with worry. He took her hand and put it on his chest. 

"I am not perfect Katharina ...."

"I don't mean to be rude husband, but I can assure you this situation does not need more promises." She Said even as Elijah shows hurt at her statement.

"How about this, you spend every night here with me? I did move here for you after all." She put her hand on his cheek.

"Alright. I sleep here with you." Elijah agreed. Happy to have found a solution even a temporary one the room became warm again.

"Okay. Now, you have neglected your wife for days now dear husband. You must make it up to me. It is my right." She said pouncing on him. Realizing she is avoiding the issue but helpless on what else to do, Elijah indulged her every whim in bed until she succumbed to exhaustion and fell asleep. He is clearly weaker than her, but she is always bested in bed, it a peculiar thing.

He watched her with a fond smile. He will try his best not to disappoint her again. First He need to be done with the evolution process. He can't spit on her efforts like this.

A while later.

"I'm surprised you are jealous after what you said to Hailey." Elijah said, kissing her clavicle.

"Hailey does not have a long history of sucking away all the light in room like your brother does. She is also not the person you have dedicated yourself to serve for centuries. Hailey is mortal, young and most importantly, she is weak. I can break her in two with a single thought on a good day." Katherine said honestly.

"That's it? She is easy to kill?"

"Of course not, but that is my favorite part of her existence. What? You wanted me to say she has beautiful eyes and soft looking skin? I'm sure she does, but she is also coveting my husband." Katherine rolled her eyes.

"Yes, I am rather charming."

"Don't flatter yourself, you were there at the right time. The poor girl would have probably committed suicide had it not been for your presence at the scene." Katherine said making Elijah smack his lips in surprise.

"Do you really think so?"

"Okay, maybe she wouldn't actually go through with it but you have to admit it, your presence added a calming effect between the two. Klaus has the emotional maturity of a tadpole. At a time she needed assurance and comfort, he was probably executing step 0.2 of his master plan to becoming king."

"Haha... tadpole. Why does that make me laugh so much?" Elijah laughed until tears came out of his eyes.

"In any case, stop encouraging that sort of behavior from Hailey it will backfire with Nicklaus."

"Please, I didn't do anything necessary. She was already loaded and ready to go. Besides she is pregnant with a super baby, the poor girl could use a naked shoulder to cry on."

"Perhaps, but I am married. And after today I would advise against any adventurous thoughts that might upset you."

"Hailey is fine. What upset me is Nicklaus." She rolled her eyes at him. "I can't have you be with me while you are wishing for her. That would make me murderous."

"For beast kin, powerful men can have multiple partners. Besides I need to get used to sharing you. You know, with you obsessed with your brother's affairs." Katherine gave him a sarcastic smile.

"Something about her pulls you in. The woman who is responsible for reigniting your pursuit for your brother's redemption. You look at her and you find her special, if nothing else, the child she carries is the light that set your devotion to Nicklaus rearing its head again. All these years of failure and you finally have a solid chance at changing him for the better." Katherine removed herself from his arms.

Elijah didn't know what do say. She can read him so openly it's truly terrifies him sometimes.

"As time goes on you will fall for her even deeper. The fact that you are married will probably turn the entire thing into a forbidden fruit that seems overly sweet and makes the two of you even more attracted to each other." Katherine said with a tone that is hard to read whether she is upset or not.

"That is not certain. Katherina can we not worry so much about something that may not come to pass?" Elijah doesn't want to anger her and have her do something.... drastic.

"I want to tell you that if you want her, then I won't prevent you or get angry with you. Will I get jealous? Yes, but I have been around for a long time. I know when to back off."

"You would leave me on a maybe thing that may never even come to pass?" Elijah got angry.

"I didn't say I would leave you. I am telling you that I will not cause problems for you if you take someone else as your woman. That is not to say I will allow another man into my bed, you can rest assured that for as long as we are married, no one else will lay a hand on me, I belong to you but you can belong to others if you wish."

Elijah kept silent. She is the master at surprising him. Just when he thinks he can get a measure of her, she goes and do something like that. "Katharina. This is...." He doesn't get to finish as she gives him a deep passionate kiss that makes him hold her tightly.

"But Elijah, I am the wife." She looks at him sternly.

"Yes. You are the wife. My wife." He said as their forehead touched in a silent affectionate moment.

"Are you sure about this?" Elijah asked.

"No, but I know what happens when two people who shouldn't be together find each other attractive and just can't stay away. What could have been a small spark ends up escalating into an inferno just because it was forbidden." Katherine said trying to convince herself more than Elijah.

Elijah doesn't know what to say. Katherine took him to the sitting room and from a stack of laminated A3 maps she pulls out one from a folder written New Orleans. She pulls out a sharp looking knife and asked for Elijah's hand.

"I had May laminate these maps just incase we need to use them for a locator spell. However.... Instead of finding one person, these are designed to locate multiple individuals depending on the map criteria. For instance this one is to find those related to you by blood."

Katherine dropped the blood on the map and sent her soul power to activate the runes on the sides of the map.

The map lit up a golden light that Elijah is used to seeing whenever she uses runes. The blood doesn't move around like in the usual spells but it dissolves into the map disappearing into a golden light and the multiple golden lights lit up the map.

"The brighter the light, the more magical the relative is. Some would say the more powerful that Mikaelson person is."

Elijah takes the map looking at it in wonder. "That can come very handy. Thank you." Elijah said in gratitude.

"I didn't do it for your thanks. I wanted to know if Hailey's bunny in her oven is related to you by blood or not. You can also check my current location." She takes the map and pressed a location that currently has four golden lights. One is very small but very bright. While the other three are big and bright. One of them is brighter than the others.

"This one is definitely that mutt brother of yours. And the small blinding light is the bunny in Hailey's oven. There's only one and it's very talented. Congratulations.

Guess she isn't a lying bitch. There goes my chance at creating drama." Katherine said dejected making Elijah amused.

"This one is our current location." Elijah looked at the blinding lights in confusion. He pressed the three light huggled together and his surprise is obvious. It is apparent his children are very special.

"Haha....There is no question about whose is better." Katherine said with pettiness. Elijah looked at her in speechlessness.

"What? I'll take my wins wherever I can." She rolled her eyes.

"Where is that?" Elijah looked at a very bright light in the map unaccounted for.

"Rebekah is in Marcel's house, the rest is in that dreadful place you call a house and you are here. Who is this peerless talent belonging to your bloodline? The light is brighter than that of Nicklaus. Curious." Katherine looked at the light. Elijah took the map with him as they walk to the rest of his siblings.

"Are we just going to trust your map and that we somehow have a long lost family member here?"

"I did use Elijah's blood, so it could be Mikael. He is your father and has been a no show so far. You are about to have a child and are presumably in a vulnerable position. It makes sense for him to come out. He was probably hiding before when you broke the curse but now, he can use her to get to you."

"Besides, Marcel may have lured him here. You ran from him all those years ago. After what Mikel did to him, he must be desperate to verify of the both of us. It's common knowledge your father hates werewolves." Katherine said and it sounded reasonable to all present.

The siblings looked at each other while Klaus pines in agony over the possibility that his worst enemy could walk in at anytime.

"Let's not get excited, let's go check what this place is and why this person hasn't moved, maybe he is desecrating. In which case we'll have nothing to worry about." Kol eased the tension.

"I suggest moving Hailey and putting her in a safe place. I assume any Vampire can enter here without an invitation?" Katherine said but no one seems to be listening to her.

"The map will only work for as long as the runes are charged. When the power in the runes run out it will become dull again. At that point please bring it back." Katherine smiled and is about to leave when Elijah stops her.

"Can you take care of Hailey, we are all going to be very busy trying to figure this all out." Katherine looked at her husband who is asking her to babysit a woman he has feelings for.

"Ask Rebekah, I am needed elsewhere husband." She said with obvious blame in her tone. Elijah held her and kissed her hair.

"Katharina, please. If this is indeed father, we will need to be at full strength." He looked at her imploringly but Katherine remained unmoved.

"Shouldn't Nicklaus be in charge of planning Hailey's safety? Aren't you taking your uncle duties a little too much? Don't overstep the father Elijah, unless there's something you want to tell me?" Katherine blinked.

She is not angry about Hailey but she is wondering when is this man going to live up to his potential and complete his evolution because had he been even a step into it, he would face this Mikel by himself and she wouldn't be stuck babysitting Hailey with nothing to do.

"He speaks for me. It would be great if you could help us with this, love." Klaus said from the side. Loving the tension between the two so he decided to add to it.

"Fine, it would be my pleasure." Katherine put on a fake smile and went to sit on the couch. She took out a note book and pen out of nowhere and started writing words.

Seeing her ignore them Kol went behind her and read what she had written.

If gladly you'll sweat for it,

Kol read the poem out loud and the rest of the room quieted down but Katherine did not even raise her head even as she feels their eyes on her. She continues to lose herself in the wonders of poetry.

"Hi." Hailey said to Katherine who had her head down since she came it.

"Hello." Katherine greeted back politely.

"I heard what you did for me yesterday. Thank you." Hailey said smiling at her. Katherine looked at her.

"They tell you things? That is good, I was worried they will just leave you in a corner until you give birth." Katherine said to which Hailey pursed her lips.

"They don't, Mikel told me it was your order when I thanked him yesterday." Hailey said in slight complaint. Mikel had come back with a few bottles he liberated from Marcel's celar to share with Nicklaus and Hailey was able to talk to him.

"You need to fix that. They treat their own sister who is the world's first female Vampire like a princess that should never be coveted by the world. They must be over looking you. Treating you like you'll break at the sight of blood." Katherine said making Hailey thoughtful.

"Nicklaus is angry with me about yesterday." Hailey said making food for herself. Katherine looked at Hailey and wondered if she should give her qi food? But then Klaus will find a way to blame her if something goes awry with the pregnancy.

"Umm, do you want some?" Hailey asked Katherine seeing her looking at her food.

"No, I was thinking if I should give you one of the map I made to use in tracking your family. Buy I warn you not to go out and track them down in your current condition."

Seeing the excitement in Hailey's face Katherine warned her just to make sure she doesn't get blamed when something goes wrong. While they talk, a woman comes inside the house without even knocking. Katherine hit her head with a bat and she falls to the ground unconscious.

"What's going on? who is this?" Katherine asked while thinking if she should just slash her brains all over the ground.

"A witch, her name is Sabine she read me the gender of my baby and then she ran away as if she had seen a ghost the other night. She doesn't seem to want to hurt me." Hailey said. However, she saw Katherine rolling her eyes at her.

"She doesn't want to hurt you? Are you dreaming little wolf? They kidnapped you and threatened to kill you and your baby. If someone did that to me... I would trace and destroy three generations of their bloodline. You clearly have poor judgement which is why you have to listen to my instructions right now. Agreed?" Katherine looked at Hailey with a rare serious expression.

"Hailey I'm gonna have to ask you to trust me okay?" She looked at Hailey in the eye making it clear this is important. Hailey nodded in agreement. Katherine move to wake up the witch whose body doesn't look like her spirit.

"Agree with whatever she wants you to do and I'll guarantee your safety. I have to see why she has waited until the men left the house to enter."

"How do you know she is going to say something?" Hailey is not sure about this Katherine's methods.

"Did you see I took out my bat and hit her without even asking who she is?" Katherine asked and Hailey nodded.

"It is because of the thick malice I sensed from her. Whoever this woman is, she means you harm. The fact that she can come inside here like this as if she knew all the powerful people have gone out is suspicious to me." Katherine explained an Hailey listens.

"Don't take my word for it. Just watch. And learn." Katherine smiled.

The witch woke up. She opened her eyes and found a woman standing in front of her with an embarrassed expression. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were a friend, look your bump should go down after these ice cube start working." Katherine held a bag of ice to her head.

Hailey felt goosebumps seeing the shy embarrassed expression. Sabine looked at Katharine and forced a smile.

"It's okay, I should have knocked. I was excited to invite Hailey out for a check up into a clinic that I forgot my manners. Hi, I'm Sabine Laurent a witch of the French quarter."

"Charmed." Katherine said with a smile. "I'm Katherine, Elijah's wife." Katherine said but it felt like she dropped a bomb because Sabine started chocking on the water Katherine had given her a while ago. Katherine felt the malice grow thicker and this time it is directed at her. Interesting.

"Elijah got married? This is surprising." Sabine said but it was enough for Katherine to catch that she knew Elijah and is deeply upset by the news. Good, at least they are getting somewhere.

"You know my husband?" Katherine asked with a perfect expression of curiosity.

"No, I met him a while back. He is very handsome, so you can imagine my disappointment to find out he is married. How long have you two been married?" The witch smiled and asked but the eyes flashed with a ruthless glint that Katherine recognise all too well, Katherine has just become another piece on the board for this with to use against the Mikaelson family.

"I shouldn't hog all your attention, lets talk about this doctor's appointment you were talking about?" Katherine easily changed the topic reminding Sabine of her mission.

Sabine started selling a spontaneous doctor's appointment trip. Hailey agreed and they left. Sabine tried to convince Katherine to stay behind but Katherine began advising Hailey against leaving so Sabine decided its better she die too.

Sabine stayed behind and a few witches took them through the woods to a doctor. After the consultation the doctor tried to inject Hailey with something suspicious but got her head bashed with a bat. The door opened and a group of not very friendly looking witches tried to grab Hailey.

Knowing that she can not move things effectively with her mind at the moment, she opted for a space barrier. She put a space barrier around Hailey and got to work.

Being pregnant, and then having almost lost her children because of a typical Mikaelson drama but unable to express her rage because she had been afraid to hurt the babies had left he stuffed and uncomfortable. Now however, these mortals can just be her source of carnage and blood shed she had been craving ever since she woke up from that hospital.

She released a deep rumbling grawl and started smashing people with a bat. Five witches had entered while the rest stayed behind and waited to see her come out. Skull, knee, waist bone. She smashed and smashed while Hailey stood behind the barrier and watched in horror.

Katherine used her dark power to remove the blood from herself and from the bat on her hand. The witches outside started getting attacked by the pack but some of them escaped because the goal was to kill a few and then see what the Mikaelson siblings do about it.

"Clan leader, are you okay?" Bobby who has been at the college most of the time came inside with blood on her hands and face. She tried to touch Katherine but is avoided at every turn.

"Dirty, perhaps we should start lessons on how to murder people without getting blood on yourself." Katherine said and Bobby laughed.

"You are making jokes so you are okay." Bobby heaved a sigh and then the rest of the party started leaving.

"So. Who is the pretty lady?" Nate smiled charmingly at Hailey. Who introduced herself.

"You were not scared back there were you?" Katherine asked her and Hailey smiles reassuringly.

"Alright you guys go back home or wherever you were." Katherine ordered and the pack left.

"They seem cool." Hailey said looking at the people going the other direction playing around even as they are bloodied and dirty.

"They are my family now. We are a pack I could have done this by myself but I figured it's been a long time since they have seen blood. I don't want them to get squeamish when it happens. And a pack hunts together."

Katherine can see Hailey is depressed by the speech. She changes the topic. "What happens if you find your family?" Katherine suddenly asked.

"I honestly don't know. I just wanted to belong. Growing up the way I did, you always imagine your family coming to get you and take you home. But it never happens. Even if they don't want me, I just want to know where I come from."

"Alright. All the best." Katherine patted her shoulder.

"Thanks. For today too, thank you for saving me from a bunch of crazy witches." Hailey smiles in graditude.

"Why did you leave the house in the place?" Klaus walked in and checked Hailey seeing nothing on her.

Elijah looked at Katharine smelled the strong scent of blood on her. "Are you hurt? There's a very strong scent of blood on you." Elijah asked worried looking at her stomach.

"That's...well, I may have started a massacre. I know it's wrong but, it was fantastic I tell you." Katherine said licking her lips like a lunatic.

"Katharina, you are with child, I ask that you hold back on the violence until you give birth." Elijah rubs between his eyebrows.

"How can I? I had thought the same thing Elijah when I gave you that elixir, I had been planning to paint and recite poetry and put down the bat. But you ....this is your fault." She said and Elijah clenched his jaw.

He knows he is disappointed her so he will not argue. Hailey told them what happened from start to finish.

"The witches are not allies anymore, we need to remove the link very soon." Elijah said.

"Undo a magic link, I can do it right now. Do we got to kill the witches when it's done?" Katherine took out her bat in glee.

"Not you love, you will stay home as recite poetry this time." Klaus said. He is glad Katharine had been there to protect Hailey even though she is the one who convinced her to leave the house in the first place.

"This place is really ruthless, sacrifice teenagers, kill off pregnant women... what's next? Drink the soup from the meat of every household first born virgin child?" Katherine sat down wishing she could drink alcohol.

"In any case, how was the trip? Ad why are you all back empty handed?" Katherine asked

"That place is where bad witches are imprisoned. Unless Mikael has turned into a witch, we don't think it is him in there. Which means the most urgent thing is to sever the connection between Sofie and Hailey." Elijah said

"It's late. I'm going home." Katherine walked out and Elijah left with her. They had agreed we will accompany his wife at night.

"When is Nicklaus taking the city under his control? Isn't he tired of waiting?" Katherine asked Elijah who indicated he doesn't know.

"I am not going there with you tomorrow I have an arand to run. See to it my presence is not need there, I'm trying to work on something with a promising talent."

"Didn't you say you'll help sever the connection between Hailey an the witch?" Elijah asked.

"I change my mind." She said falling asleep after taking a shower.

Katherine woke up and the sun has already sat. She snuggled into Elijah's arms. Smelling his shower gel, Katherine jumps out of bed to go wash herself.

When she came back the lights are up in the room with Elijah watching some of her paintings. The serious expression on his face telling her something is not right.

"What is it?"

She puts on clothes. Her husband is home, so she of course put effort into looking sexy. Elijah looked at face on a painting with sorrow. He turned to her and looked at her with obvious accusation. Katherine raised her hands not knowing what's it she did.

"Did you get into my head and see her? That is a violation of my privacy Katharina!" He shouted at her but she frowned in confusion. 

"I only got inside your head when I was still in the Gilbert house and only went after information on Nicklaus. I am fine with you on edge about having a woman who can read minds but DO NOT accuse me of something I didn't do. Even if I did, isn't that what you are asking for by not completing your evolution?" Katherine got in the bed. 

"If you didn't read it from my mind then where did you get it from?" Elijah having come down asked her.

"Apology first." 

"Alright, I am sorry. It's just, that person meant something to me." Elijah said with a heavy tone. 

"Her spirit is inside that Sabine witch. Were the two of you together or something?" Katherine narrowed her eyes.

"We loved each other. She died tragically thanks to Nicklaus and his schemes. She might be back for revenge. This is good, it means we know something they are not aware of." Elijah kissed Katherine who jumped back away from him. 

She took out a sharp knife from her warehouse and threw it to the painting right on her head and looked at Elijah with a glare. 

"Loved each other? I'm afraid you gonna have to explain that bit of news to me clearly." 

Elijah swallowed. He then explained how she was a powerful black magic practitioner and also his lover. However, it didn't last long as Klaus caused her death. Katherine looked at him sternly. 

"Do you still love this black magic practicing witch? If she came to you and offered her love back, would you accept?" The air in the room got colder.

Her eyes got pink and even without using his brain, Elijah knew one wrong answer would mean pain for him.

"Of course not." He caught her in his arms and rolled on the bed ending up on top of her.

"Haven't you heard? I'm a married man now." He smiled and kissed her passionately. 

"You best not forget it." She rolled and got on top of him, smiling lightly she took off him sleep wear and a passionate session began.
