Katherine did not speak upon her return and just listened to Rebekah and Elena discussing her.

"She is using you as a maid. I saw you bringing her blood last night. Aren't you like a thousand years old? Why are you not able to see when you are being used?" Elena smirked at Rebekah who is driving.

"I see the swollen chick has gone down now, you can talk endlessly without pain." Rebekah retorted. Elena kept quiet and turned to look at Katherine finding her staring up ahead with a cold look. Elena can feel the extreme anger radiating from Katherine. She seems like a demon crawling from the abyss.

Elena shuddered and tried to create distance between them. The previously talkative Elena suddenly kept quiet and the car had a silent atmosphere for the remainder of the journey. Katherine went into meditation and tried to retrieve some information that can help her in this predicament.

She has the runes. But they must be prepared in advance and require that special ink and alot of soul power to execute. She had the ink but the time and soul power may be her most precious and scarce resources at the moment.

Medicine. One of the types of medicinal concoction she had paid attention to was experimental and may not work against such a sinister type of poison. However, it was said to cure poison from 99 poisonous beasts in the heavenly realm.

She had the recipe for the 999 poison cure in the past but the recipe is not possible in this low level world. It is obvious she had to substitute many original ingredients but it was promising thanks to the materials collected from all over the world by the wolve faction since it's inception.

She is grateful for their dedication, had it not been for their endless search and purchases from a broad and locally using the internet, she would be at a loss now and her only option would be to give in to the demands of these people. But it is still too early to celebrate. That cure once taken will help a person be immune to 99 types of poisons.

The problem is whether the poison inflicted is one of those 99 types that the cure cater for. At the moment she had focused on medicines that will save lives. Her soldiers can be resurrected but shattering a body is not the only way to destroy a person. Torture can break human spirit. More so for a violent species such as the wolves. Torturing them will wound the animal and turn it unhinged which will affect the human side.

A character like Nicklaus should have used this method to blackmail her into giving him her wolves but he is not too patient and he wanted a pack as soon as possible. However, what's stoping him from employing this tactic in the future? So, Katherine is planning on improving her clan's spirit and mental strength so they will not be undone if they are tortured in the future.

This is why Katherine had paid special attention to healing medication and concoctions that sooth and heal the soul. That is why she was able to make Qetsiya's elixir in a moment's notice. Soul and spirit are part of humans.

She had wanted to make sure her people are impervious to known and some of the unknown poisons so she created the 99 poison cure. The spirit medicine she was going to improve her wolves mental and spiritual power so they can manage the increasing power of the wolf.

The meditation manual she gave to her clan will take months to show results depending on the individual talent but it is a beast cultivation that will slowly unlock the power of the bloodline. Their wolves will be powerful and might even be conscious which means if their own mentality is less stable, their own bodies might be taken over and the one in control will be the beast instead of the man.

Another weapon in her arson is the mental strength she possesses as a spirit fox carrier. She is very powerful when it comes to mental attacks. She just hadn't been using it too much since her enemies were not many and she wanted to let her nine tails gain experience.

Mind art is her most powerful weapon yet. Since Katherine is still without a tail of her own. She has make use of it somehow. Now that she has her back against the wall, it is time to be that fox that laid waste to great armies in the heavenly realm.

When the car reaches the city, Rebekah took Elena to keep her hostage in a hotel and Katherine waved her hand, taking the car back to the warehouse. She looked at Rebekah and spoke with sincerity.

"Thank you Rebekah, I will remember your favor and your sacrifice. I must make haste now I hope to see you soon. Heal the girl with your blood would you? That cut is festering I can smell it all the way here." Katherine said and disappeared from their sight.

Rebekah looked at the festering wound and sneered. Heal her?

Katherine watched the building she is supposed to go to but is changing her outfit into a battle friendly outfit. She had bought it to beat up Nicklaus but forgot at the time because of how sudden Klaus's arrival had been.

The entire outfit is black and pink. Tight leather pants with pink patterns on the side, her heeled boots are combat effective and sexy. Her leather jacket has the same black colour on the pants. She feels good and like a badass.

Katherine takes out her metal bat and walks leisurely toward the building. Is she not nervous? Yes, she is definitely nervous, her people are still inside that building but hiding is not going to help her here.

When she was watching from a distance just now, she saw that the entire building has been turned into a fortress. Not in defense but in monitoring. They have assigned a vampire at every possible entrance. The only way for her to make it inside is if she walks through the door.

Katherine heard a gun being loaded and a trigger released a bullet just when she is about to enter the front door. She released her spiritual force and saw a 90 ° view of her current location. It is still pitifully less than desirable but she will see any projectile headed for her.

Three bullets came first her one for the heart, one for the head and one for the stomach? No, it's heading for her spine. Curious.... she can move objects with her mind now. She took a gamble and used her mental strength to stop the three bullets and they stopped. Katherine hasn't done something like this since coming to this world. Guns are mortal weapons but she is no celestial either so she never tried it before.

Bullets from a mortal weapon shouldn't be too much of a problem compared to the low grade, medium grade and height grade weapons she used to deal with on the battlefield before. But the world may limit the usefulness of her power so she was still skeptical about how much power can she amass.

The gun men saw the three poisoned sniper bullets standing still infront of the petite woman. She studied them for a moment and then smiled a dazzling smile. This level of poison is definitely not higher than the 99 poison cure. Realising this is good research material, she took the bullets into her warehouse and continued with her journey.

She opened the glass door and entered. Glass door? Honestly, these vampires are not serious about anything at all. She is in the middle of the welcome hall, the reception desk is empty. She went towards the place where she had seen the bodies of her men.

It didn't take her long to find them piled up like dead people. She took out a bucket of the 99 poison cure. What makes it more valuable is that she did not make it with the inclusion of her blood. Which means it can be consumed without fear of subjugation from her blood. She was planning to use it as a substitute to werewolf bite but she realized how stupid that thought was.

This medicine will make whomever consume it completely immune to 99 types of poison. Using it to cure werewolf bite is a waste. She took her time making each person turn from whatever position there were sleeping on to face up and she lavitated a mouthful worth of the medicine and fed it to them.

Whomever is watching on the screen must think her a witch. An hour passed like this. She slowly fed her people medicine and no one bothered her. They must be thinking whatever she used will not work and are waiting to see her despair.

She lastly went to Rose who is bound on a chair and with a wave of her spirit force, she shook the barrier and found it incredibly strong. Since it is a small circle that is also incredibly concentrated with what she recognizes from Nicklaus's favorite weapons to be dark magic.

She will not use the mental power nor will she use her spiritual force to deal with such sinister energy. She will instead try to use the travelers non-magic spells. She immediately started chanting as her eyes turned black.

She can see the barrier melting into the floor and disappearing. She gets inside taking Rose and feeding her the medicine. It will take a while for them to wake up. The medicine is too potent, if she wakes them up during this period they will be overwhelmed by pain.

She is aware they are watching her to try and figure out the extent of her secrets. Not to mention they had no information on her before, and now they get to collect it first hand. Katherine doesn't mind, her power is not so easy to understand.

She then sat down and watched the results of the cure. This will be very informative on how her medicine deals with ailments of this world. She had studied the werewolf cure but the problem with that cure is the use of her blood in it to enhance the potency of the herbs.

Katherine is aware of the possibility for her medicine to rid her people of their vampiresm. If the fact they are vampires is regarded as the work of an infectious desease. Lucky the cure for poison is not only for humans and hopefully vampires will be regarded as a legitimate species and not as poisoned human bodies.

Katherine gave them this cure knowing this may be the results but like a tyrant, no one else should covert her things if they turn human then she will turn them into powerful group of humans under her army. There are very few things as tenatious as humans. They adapt and evolve no matter the environment.

In the security room a group is studying her every move. Trying to decipher the extent of her power. The man who has spoken to Katherine before is instructing the witches.

"Find out how she take out things out of nowhere like that. Is she a witch? Find out. Check if we can study the medicine she just fed to them. Do not look down on whatever it is. Although it most likely wont work on the poison, it must be something precious."

"She is the one who has the werewolf bite cure after all." He looked at the screen with a visible sneer on his face. She might be a powerful witch but she had no idea what she is up against. The Strix have solidified their power and influence to unprecedented heights. Anyone who wish to challenge them is a fool. It will be easier if she just gives in to spare her people.

They have found out that although she has never shown up infront of the vampires, she is diligently taking care of them. The details are fuzzy in the memories of the men but it is obvious they are very grateful to her. In conclusion, she is a good leader who cares for her people. Now they are in pain, she will surely want to ease their pain. The Strix has used this method many times. It is bound to work.

30 minutes passed and one by one, the vampires started puking out foul smelling poison. The moment it hit the ground it burned wholes in it. Katherine, seeing this knew the medicine worked. The vampires started healing the various open wounds they had before. All they need is a little bit blood and they will be up and running.

Katherine did not say anything to them and just gave them each a blood bag. She had initially stored the blood bags in her warehouse back before she went to recruit werewolves for her army. Luckily she hadn't been using this particular stash of blood bags.

She looked at the vampires who are her army, bested at their place of residence. Left to rot as their wounds fester and piled up on a mountain of corpses as a warning to her. They recovered one by one their eyes filled with anger at the insult they have suffered here today.

"You have suffered. I see that a greedy tyrant has invaded our home and demanded we submit. I have rendered their poison useless against you. My people. This is our home we will defend it. And if we fall, so be it. I am Katherine Pierce your clan leader. I will make you a promise, that the pain they have given here shall be returned. Ten folds!" The vampires looked at her, still disoriented from the pain and not all in sink with the happenings of the day.

She took out a brush and ink, with fast movements she put runes that disappeared as soon as she put them on each side of the wall. And then she stepped out of the room.

"Rest for now, you may leave the barrier when you are well rested. But no one hostile will be able to come in. No weapons launched against you will come inside. I must meet our guests now that you have all recovered." She flashed their confused faces a smile and left not forgetting to take out her priced bat.

When she turned a corner she brandished her bat fracturing an entire shoulder. This one is very strong. The last time she had so much trouble breaking bones was with the psychotic hybrid. This trip will prove to be worth it.

She is still taken aback by the security guard's tenacity when a group emerges from up from up front and attacked her with what seems to have been their full strength. Seeing the many people Katherine traded the bat for two long knives. With reflexes of a cat, she decapitated two nearest vampires.

The blood splattered and sprayed the other vampires. Katherine did not escape without blemish as the blood stains are also on her leather jacket. She didn't even flinch at the gruesome scene as the two men fall to the puddle of their own blood.

The peculiar thing however, is the lack of reaction from the rest of the team. Instead of getting cold feet because of what had befell their comrades, they renew their efforts and doubled the speed of the attack. They must have been trained well.

Admiration is one thing but they still need to die here today. For daring to come inside her house and move around her things as if she doesn't matter. She aslo renewed her own efforts and butchered the lot of them. A second passed and a vampire's life ended.

These vampires are stronger, faster and obviously older than any vampire she had met before excluding the Mikelsons siblings. They are not standing there allowing her to kill them. They fight like warriors and give as much as they get.

Their team work is particularly polished. A vampire on the left aims for her neck, another goes for her heart. Thanks to her fox reflexes she is able to nimbly dodge these two but while in the mist of twisting her upper body to avoid, her stomach is stabbed with a sharp object. A special object as breath is knocked out of her when it connected with her innards.

That is the moment they have been waiting for. More sharp objects with thick sinister aura are plunged into her body. Joints, organs even somewhere between her spine there is a spreading foul energy invading her entire body.

The only reason she hasn't been completely consumed by it and become a mindless beast is because she had enforced her and the entirety of her tails against black objects.

These black objects are very special however, they are not the likes of those used by Klaus and them. Only with a measly amount of black magic. These ones are no longer iron. It is safe to say their entire body is made from a dark object. The essence of the weapons have been altered completely to embody the sinister power of black magic.

Katherine fell to the ground backwards. Like a puppet whose strings got cut. When her powerful body fell to the ground, the mubble floor fractured and the weapons on her back got deeper inside her back. She didn't release a sound.

This is not because it is not painful but rather because she is utterly shocked and the pain is bad, the process of being repeatedly cooked in boiling soup of medicine was hell but it doesn't take away the pain she is feeling now.

Perhaps she had been too relaxed thinking she hailed from the upper realm with vast experience on how to deal with far more powerful enemies. It can be said that she had looked down on this world and the creatures that dwell in it. Today's experience will remain a good lesson. An awakening of sorts.

From now on, she will treat every opponent as if they were capable and powerful enough to go against her, the former heavenly princess. And from this day forward, she will cast her former misgivings about this world and accept that she is a vampire fox hybrid without the convenience of her high cultivation base.

An epiphany exploded in her subconscious. The people around her are wondering if she is finally dead. They had chosen the best squad to fight her, 18 powerful ancient vampires but only a pitiful 4 remains. How terrifying is her strength, her power, and most importantly her battle experience to have one of the most powerful teams in their organization almost wiped out in a span of less than 30 minutes?

They have managed to bring her down but non of them seem to be celebrating. To have accompanied each other for centuries and be separated in such a violent manner. Each of the four remaining people looked at the woman on the ground with blood shot eyes. They want to pull her body apart, grind her bones into powder and feed her meat to the fishes in the deepest part of the ocean.

She had butchered their companions. Their training did not allow them to break formation, otherwise many would have changed the plan half way.

This group of people must have been well prepared for anything. They must have changed the plan to recruit her when they saw her able to cure her men from the poison they pride themselves with. To have that which they had considered special be so easily deciphered and countered must burn. But most Importantly, it must have increased the level of threat she represents.

Her body is moved to some place, no doubt to try and pry open her mind to study all that she knows. If Katherine is not wrong, they must have a way to search the remaining subconscious of a dead body. This is why they had decided to kill her off. Having her dead is less dangerous and this way, they are sure to get all her secrets.

They are not wrong, and any leader would have made the same choice. Her body seem to have lost all vitality and is no different from a cold corpse. This is why they have believed their plan to have worked. At this moment. A man named Robert who was in charge on this operation believes he had made the right choice.

To have sacrificed 16 elites for the death of such a colossal potential threat that would no doubt bring havoc on the future that the organization has in store will surely make him a hero. He might even rise in the ranks.

"Is it done?" A voice that made Robert sweat in fear cane through.

"It is done." He is careful not to speak more than necessary.

"Casualties?"

"Pheonix team ....16 dead." Robert reported with a gulp. There is silence from the other side and the phone call became awkward.

"Was she that good or did you make a mistake?" The voice has become colder with obvious blame in the tone.

"She was amazing, I will come with the footage of the battle when I return. I promise you will be impressed." Robert didn't waste time assuring the other man.

"I look forward to it. And the body must be preserved and sent to my witches and medical team so we can figure out how different she really was. I want no mistakes on this. Do you understand?"

"Understood!" Robert practically shouted. The phone connection is then cut. Robert let's out a long sigh feeling as though he had lost half his lifespan from that call alone.

Katherine is in the middle of grasping the mysteries of gaining a breakthrough. She had been on the verge of advancing in her spirit force which will increase the power of her spirit fox. She just hadn't been able to grasp the opportunity but now, in the midst of suffering from the immense agony.

Katherine's spirit fox is going through a breakthrough at the moment. It may last a few minutes or hours depending on the level of insight used as a foundation of the breakthrough. Being in the lower realm, Katherine never imagined being enlightened at such a moment. The fox spirit has shut down the body because of the level of pain transmitted to it through the body.

An original vampire will not escape Scot free from such an abundant amount of concentrated black qi.

Katherine would have been able to purge out the black magic had she still had the tail with the power of pure fire. The current power of May's tail ability would not stand a chance against this much sinister aura. So it really falls on to her fox beast spirit. An imperceptible amount of time passed by.

Seeing her 3 millennial partner bested at the hands on beings from the lower realm, the fox spirit came forth. The spirit of the fox sent some inherent knowledge to her subconscious to assist with the breakthrough.

The day went by, the vampires all migrated to the wolf faction and the resort closed for business. The vampires are convinced that she is kidnapped by the enemy and are trying to convince the wolves to perform a rescue mission.

Rose asked them to wait. She told them she will have an answer soon but for now everyone should train harder. The most curious thing about these two factions is that they are getting along well, there is no internal strife now that the leader is indesposed.

When Rose gave her instructions they didn't argue and took it as is. Everyone in the table recognise Rose as a second in command without question.

Katherine's body has been transported halfway through the journey when she woke up. Feeling that her body is being transported, she is grateful she didn't wake up on a table being open. The level of her power had surely increased significantly. The previous pitifully small radius that could be covered by her spirit force has more than tripled. The most delightful thing however is the tail that has come back. With this power, armies will fall on her feet with a single look.

She used the time to steal the power of the sinister qi and turn it into her own power. This is not as easy as stealing power from a pill but it is already inside her body which is a plus. The recent breakthrough has allowed the quality of her soul power and mental strength to be enough increase. The black magic is volatile and sinister only strong enough mental strength can hope to subdue it without getting corroded by it.

The convergence of energies is a bit mysterious but the process removed all the sinister qi from all the places it was and send it to the small suction space on the Naval area and then the power will become hers. The amount of black magic was a lot, this increased the time needed to complete the process. Katherine should have been feeling energized after a breakthrough but instead the sinister energy in her body is making her feel nauseous and out of place. Until it is taken care of, she will be out of commission.

Damon had returned when he heard of Elena's part in a plot against Klaus. Knowing that him and his brother will also die, should Klaus be killed, we went back to talk to his brother, only to be visited and black mailed to find and sever the connection between the Bennetts and Ester.

The process was gruesome but the connection was severed at last but in doing so, Abby who had just recently gotten her magic back was turned into a vampire by Stefan. Hearing that Elena's life is in danger realised his first reaction is to take the safest option and let Damon be the bad guy but then an annoying voice told him to take more risk and stop being so rational.

The truth is, he probably would have committed a far more gruesome act this is relatively gentle since Abby will still be alive. Even as she will be without her magic, again. Having done it he is sorry but he would probably do it again given a chance. Had Katherine been here she would have said 'for the love of Elena'.

The news reached Elena who was still being held hostage by Rebekah in a motel in a different city than the one Katherine had seperated from them. Elena feeling angered by the entire situation tried to attack Rebekah who in turn slapped her chest in almost killing her in one move. Elijah had told her that they did not know the extent of their mother's spells that were made from Elena's blood.

He had told Rebekah that they may still have use for Elena and having them out of town is a good idea. They will not hurt her but keep her still as a hostage so Rebekah had to give Elena her blood to heal her. Not long after, they found out Ester made another enhanced vampire after waking up Alaric's alter ego.

Hearing these terrible news, Rebekah made a decision to kill off Elena a few hours after Elena had escaped her and went back home with the help of Matt. Elena had managed to use skills she had learnt from Alaric to erase her trail and borrowed a phone from a non suspecting civilian. She didn't want to talk to any of the Salvatore brothers and knew Caroline is probably taking care of Bonnie so Elena could not ask her to leave Bonnie and come to her rescue.

She then called Alaric but got disconnected as soon as it rang. Elena then called Matt. Matt sneaked out and went to drive her home, he was careful not to get caught by his sister. She really doesn't like Elena and Matt can understand but he still felt helping her is the right thing to do.

Rebekah had renewed her efforts to looking for her upon receiving that call about a new vampire hunter. Knowing Elena hasn't made it home she use her superior speed and waited for her on the wikey bridge. A few hours later Elena in Matt's car drove by, Rebekah stood on the way and the truck drove over to the water.

Vicky, who had been looking for her brother had tracked him back home only to see his truck drove over the bridge and and original Vampire blocking his way. She dived into the water and without giving Elena a second look, took her brother out of the drowning car and curried him home.

Even if Vicky wanted to save Elena, Rebekah is still on the bridge wanting to make sure Elena dies. Knowing the abomination her mother created is linked to Elena's life is enough reason to get rid of Elena. She smiled seeng Vicky not bothering with saving Elena and disappeared from sight.

Vicky called Jeremy and told him about the accident. "You need to be careful the original Vampire chick was still there watching to make sure Elena is dead." Vicky said to Jeremy who used his superior speed to get to the drowned car and took out Elena's cold body.

Elena, who had drank Rebekah's blood is brought back as a transitioning vampire. Jeremy took her home in silence.

Everything happened too quickly. Ester had confidence that her son Finn would willingly work with her after all the preparation work she had put in when he was daggared all those centuries. She had helped him create an alter ego in order to cope with the burning hunger he was feeling because the dagger had stopped putting him to sleep.

Like The vampire hunter Alaric Saltzman, his is ruthless and seeks the end of all vampires. He sees his siblings as abominations who are nothing but monsters that should be exterminated. This alter ego is fuelled by resentment of being daggered and the terrible pain he suffered while believing his siblings enjoy his demise.

Finding out Nicklaus had daggared him because of his depression and he didn't know of the suffering, has helped to suppress the alter ego but his growing fondness for the youngest child Kol, had been the key to blocking his mother's attempts at turning him against his siblings. He also has a hope of ending his immortality should he wish it.

His mother had been planning on using the power she had harnessed from the Bennett bloodline to strip her children of their vampiresm and then kill them off. But her children severed that channel of power and she had to make another plan. She then quickly turned Alaric Saltzman to the weapon to kill her children.

Finn woke up while his mother was giving the ultimate weapon to her newly created hunter, he heard her mummer of binding him to the doppelganger so he doesn't live forever like Mikel.

Finn had escaped while pretending to be his other self and warned his brothers. He could not bring himself to kill her himself and end her schemes, she is still his mother. He love her no matter how different she is from that mother he remembered.

When he got home, he told his little brother to chain him down because he might kill them. He then told them all that he knew but warned them it might be a trap. His mother could have seen through his acting when he left.

Klaus called Rebekah informing her of the news. There is no buffer time for Bonnie to get used to the fact that her mother had turned into a Vampire and soon she finds out Elena has also turned.

Bonnie had been very patient with Elena during this entire time where she will say mean things to her constantly. Her mom was just killed and turned in order to save her. She loves Elena but she just needs a break from her drama and focus on her own for a change but here is Stefan and Damon knocking on her door.

"Ow look, the evil wonder twins are here." Caroline gave them a fake smile.

"We are not here to see you so step aside Blondie." Damon said trying to enter her home in order to get to Bonnie. He put his hand on Caroline trying to make her move aside but his hand is shattered by Caroline when she removes it from her shoulder and crushed it with that same one hand. Then with one push. Damon is flung a distance away.

Caroline's eyes turned cold. "Wana try that again?" She then turned to Stefan with the same cold look. "How about you? Huh? Wanna push me aside and force your way into my home? Do it I dare you." Caroline came close to his face.

Stefan doesn't want Elena to turn into a Vampire, he rememberes as she told him when she was to be sacrificed that she doesn't want to become a Vampire. Most importantly he is scared she will lose herself and become like him or like his brother and most importantly, like Katherine.

Looking at Caroline blocking his one shot at saving Elena he is preparing to fight her when Bonnie comes out and face him with heartache. "You killed my mother, now you want to kill my friend. I am convinced of your love for Elena but, are you willing to die for her?"

With one look, Bonnie fried his brain. The pain came as a heat wave and he didn't even get time to react before he was unconscious. Bonnie approached his body with a crude wooden stake making Damon and Caroline widen their eyes. Damon sped to his brother's body and carried it away. Caroline kept her eyes on him to make sure he doesn't touch Bonnie.

Bonnie has been practicing her magic her magic harder than ever since she started spending less time with Elena an more time with Jake and Paige who both agreed she was weak. She had also never forgotten the ramblings of Katherine that time she called her the heir to the Bennett bloodline. The notion of someone targeting her family pushed her to work even harder. Now she is very powerful since her mom came back and was helping her minimise the output when performing a spell.

With her mother as a tutor, her natural talent showed it's true potential. She hadn't shown it that night because she was scared out of her mind and the thought of her turning into a Vampire had drained all color from her face. She had seen Damon coming to her telling her they have chosen one between mother and daughter to turn.

Bonnie had misunderstood it to be her because something this awful would probably be done by him between the brothers. She might be powerful witch but she is a child after all. The events of that day were all too sudden and had profound consequences.
