The Feared One

Chapter 13: Total Control

Silas Kane had died. He had returned. And now, he was unstoppable. Morrow had tried to erase him. Governments had tried to bury him. But kings don't die. They rebuild. And now, Silas Kane was ready to play his final hand.

This wasn't about revenge anymore. It was about control. Total control. Tonight, Kane wasn't just going to destroy Morrow. He was going to own him.

The world was already bleeding from Kane's attacks. The banking system was failing. The gold supply was shifting.

But now, it was time for the final move. Through his underground network, Kane had orchestrated a devastating leak.

Thousands of classified documents, bribes, corruption and offshore accounts were released to the public. Politicians. CEOs. Judges. Elias Morrow. His entire administration was exposed.

By morning, the news was everywhere.

"GLOBAL CORRUPTION EXPOSED – GOVERNOR MORROW IMPLICATED" MASSIVE PROTESTS ERUPT OVER POLITICAL SCANDAL" MORROW FACES CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION – WILL HE RESIGN?"

Inside his private office, Elias Morrow watched in silence. His career was over. His empire was gone. And he knew exactly who had done this to him.

Morrow wasn't going to wait to be taken down. If Kane wanted war, then he would get war. Under the cover of darkness, Morrow met with his last remaining allies, a group of mercenaries, ex-intelligence agents and military contractors. "We end this. Now."

A man across from him, Derrick Kline, an ex-Black Ops commander, nodded. "You want him dead?" Morrow's face was stone. "I want him erased. I don't care how much it costs." Kline smirked. "Then you've come to the right people." Because if bullets couldn't stop Kane then maybe something bigger would.

4 AM – Dubai, inside the Digital Fortress,

Silas Kane sat in a high-tech war room, deep inside one of his secure Dubai offices. The screens around him glowed with live data, bank transactions, stock movements and global financial trends. Jonas Wren entered, tossing a file onto the table. "Morrow's desperate. He's hiring Black Ops teams to come after you." Kane smirked. "Let them come."

Jonas hesitated. "Boss, they're not just coming for you. They're going after everything. Your data centers. Your banks. Even your shipping routes." Kane leaned back, exhaling slowly. "Then we remind them why I'm still here."

He tapped a button on his desk. Instantly, his network of hackers, spies, and security teams mobilized. This wouldn't just be a defense. This was an execution.

The mercenaries moved in fast. Armed with EMP devices, drones and military-grade weapons, they were targeting Kane's secret financial servers, the backbone of his empire. The moment they breached the outer perimeter, however…Hell broke loose. Kane had anticipated the attack. And he had set a trap.

Inside the compound, the first mercenary team moved through the corridors with their silencers ready. But before they could reach the server room, the lights flickered. A deep voice echoed through the intercoms. "You shouldn't have come here." Then, gas hissed from the vents.

The mercenaries stumbled, coughing violently as their vision blurred. One of them reached for his radio. But then, Gunfire erupted. Kane's elite security forces moved in, taking them down with brutal precision.

Meanwhile, the second Black Ops team was scaling the building via helicopter, planning to infiltrate through the rooftop. But the moment they landed, a sniper round took out their pilot. The chopper spun out of control, crashing into the side of the building.

The remaining mercenaries barely had time to react before drones armed with explosives descended on them. BOOM! The rooftop erupted in flames. Within minutes, the entire attack force was neutralized. Kane's empire was untouched. And Morrow's last hope had just gone up in smoke.

8:00 AM – Morrow's Safehouse, Capital City; Elias Morrow was out of options. His political career was dead and his assassins had failed. And now, as he sat inside his safehouse, staring at a half-empty whiskey bottle, he knew it was over. Then, the door creaked open.

Morrow's body froze. He reached for his gun but before he could even aim it, a cold voice spoke. "Go ahead, Elias. Try it." Morrow's breath hitched. Silas Kane stepped into the room, completely calm.

His black suit was immaculate and his gold watch gleamed under the dim light. He didn't look like a man who had just fought off a full-scale attack. He looked like a king. Morrow swallowed hard. "How… how did you find me?" Kane smirked. "You built your life on power, Elias. But you should have known… men like me always know everything."

Morrow's hands trembled. "Just kill me and get it over with." Kane tilted his head. "Kill you? No, no, Elias. That's too easy." He leaned down, his voice low and final. "I want you to live. I want you to watch as I erase everything you've ever built. I want you to wake up every morning knowing that I own this world. And you? You're nothing."

Morrow's face twisted in horror. "You son of a….." Kane stood up, adjusting his suit. "Enjoy your retirement, Elias." He turned and walked toward the door.

Morrow grabbed his gun, raising it. But before he could pull the trigger, Jonas Wren appeared from the shadows. One clean shot to the leg. Morrow collapsed to the ground, screaming. Kane turned back, his smirk widening. "Goodbye, Governor." Then he left leaving Elias Morrow broken, bleeding and forgotten.

10:00 PM – Hong Kong, The Final Toast; Silas Kane stood on the balcony of his skyscraper, staring at the neon city below. Jonas Wren handed him a glass of whiskey. "Morrow's done. He'll never recover from this." Silas nodded. "Good."

Jonas studied him. "So… what's next?" Kane took a slow sip, his gaze never leaving the skyline. Then, finally he spoke. "We take everything because kings don't stay in the shadows forever."They take back their thrones." And tonight, Silas Kane wasn't just returning. He was here to rule.
