It has been two months since Levi gained the power of the War-Hammer Titan, and Mike had the Beast Titan; no one was sure yet what kind of animal Mike was, but it didn't really matter to anyone since he could easily control it, and from what Hange had found out. Mike's titan on all his fours was very fast, they weren't sure how fast yet since they didn't have enough space to test it out, but Hange would say Mike was perhaps their fastest Titan yet. Mike found it easy to climb trees with his sharp claws on his front and back legs.

The second time Levi Transformed, he was able to control his War Hammer Titan right away with little to no problems. However, he still needed more training on how to use all his hardening abilities. So far, Levi only knew how to create a sword he used with his Titan. Still, Hange reassured Eren they could experiment more once their Titan Shifter abilities weren't as secret as they were right now. Levi again had been asleep for an entire week after transforming the second time, much to the Captain's annoyance, who always took a long bath after waking up, much to the amusement of everyone, especially Hange, who couldn't stop teasing him about it.

But all their activities hadn't gone unnoticed even amongst the other scouts; many had asked Hange or Mike about what was happening, and the word had spread on how they would disappear every month with no explanation to the rest of the scouts; Hange told them they were simply training, but it didn't work as well as she thought it did. The scouts were suspicious of their activities until Commander Erwin himself reassured all of them that Hange was trying to build a new Titan Trap, and they were simply testing its effectiveness. The Commander's words had reassured the scouts, but not those outside of the Survey Corps, mainly the Military Police.

Nile had straight up asked Erwin if he knew anything about the rumor that the Scout Regiment was building a new weapon in secret to kill the Titans outside the wall; Erwin had reassured everyone that the Scouts weren't developing any kind of weapon in secret and Pyxis and Zackly had backed him up.

Erwin knew he would probably be charged with treason by the higher-ups once is public knowledge that two of his most powerful men under his command had the ability to turn into Titans, and he hadn't informed anyone about it. Erwin had kept quiet about everything, including the Titan Syringes and Eren Yeager.

Commander Pyxis was, of course, informed about everything from Erwin himself, knowing he would need his help once the military police and the lords would want Erwin dead for keeping valuable information from the rest of Humanity.

Pyxis had agreed to help Erwin but with one condition first.

' Erwin leaned forward; his brow furrowed with concern as he carefully asked Pyxis, "A Condition, you say?" Pyxis, swirling the rich red wine in his glass, nodded with a gleam in his golden eyes, his lips curling into a sly smile as he savored the taste of the expensive vintage. Since Erwin had invited him to discuss their most recent developments, Pyxis had brought one of the most expensive wines from Wall Sina. Saying their small victories needed to be celebrated in the best way possible, and what better way than to share a few glasses of good wine?

But Erwin was certain Pyxis just wanted to look for any reason to drink wine since it was his favorite drink.

"Yes. While you have my congratulations for figuring out how to make more syringes and for having Captain Levi and Captain Mike, two of your best soldiers, as Titan Shifters." Pyxis spoke formally before he placed the empty glass on the table, his hands forming a bridge for his chin to rest on.

Pyxis' request was a peculiar one - he had his eyes fixed on Commander Erwin as he spoke, hoping to persuade him.

"I would like to have two syringes," Pyxis began, "I have in mind four people, and two of them could become the best if they have Titan shifter Powers." His voice was calm and measured, but there was a hint of excitement in it. He knew that the power of the Titans was something that could turn the tides of war, and he intended to use it to their advantage. Erwin, on the other hand, remained stoic and unreadable, giving nothing away. Pyxis couldn't help but wonder what was going through the Commander's mind. Was he considering the request? Was he against it? Pyxis may have been a seasoned military strategist, but even he couldn't decipher Erwin's thoughts.

Erwin had been anticipating this moment for quite some time, as he knew that it was inevitable, considering Pyxis' position of commanding his own military branch. It only made logical sense that if Pyxis wanted to have the upper hand in the ongoing battles, he would need to have two of his best soldiers equipped with the powers of Titan Shifters. Erwin, being a shrewd strategist, was not against the idea, for he knew that politics worked on the principle of give and take. It was a classic case of "I will scratch your back, and you will scratch mine," Erwin was more than willing to play along in this game of power. Erwin knew that even Nile eventually would want access to syringes for his own best soldiers.

"I accept, Pyxis, but what about you?" Erwin questioned, pointing his hand at the old commander; Pyxis, initially taken aback by the sudden inquiry, couldn't help but burst into a deep belly laugh that echoed through the room, almost causing him to cough up his wine. After a minute of uncontrolled laughter, Pyxis finally managed to calm himself before turning to Erwin with a twinkle in his eye and a sly grin on his weathered face.

"Erwin, I'm too old for this," he replied, shaking his head. "I doubt I would be able to do much. I'm perfectly fine as I am. As for who will be chosen in my branch..." he trailed off, his thoughts wandering. He took a sip of his wine, savoring the rich flavor of the deep red liquid. "Ian Dietrich, Rico Brzenska, Anka, and Mitabi," he continued, listing off the names of his subordinates. "From these four, I think Rico and Ian would be the best options." He took another sip of wine, the smooth liquid warming his throat as he pondered the weight of his decision.

Erwin nodded his head in agreement. He only recognized Ian. He had seen him many times before, always in the company of Pyxis. Even during their military meetings, he had noticed Ian's quiet confidence and unwavering loyalty to his commander. As for Rico, Erwin had to admit that he didn't know much about her. But he trusted Pyxis implicitly, and if he was suggesting her to become a Titan Shifter, then she must be capable of fighting.

"Very well," Erwin said with a nod of his head, his calculating gaze fixed on Pyxis as the two men discussed their plan of action. "Your two best soldiers will be given the power of the Titan Shifter, a remarkable gift that will give them the strength and agility to take on even the most formidable foes. But," he added firmly, "they will need to be under extreme supervision when they do, as the power of the Titans is not to be taken lightly." Erwin's voice was measured and confident as he spoke, a testament to his years of experience as a military leader.

He listened closely to Pyxis's suggestions, considering each one carefully before accepting them with a curt nod. Finally, he leaned back in his chair and took a sip from his own glass of wine, his mind already turning to the logistics of their plan.

"Then we have a deal, Erwin Smith," he declared, his voice firm and resolute. With a broad grin spreading across his face, Pyxis extended his arm and shook Erwin's hand with a hearty grip, sealing their agreement in a show of mutual respect. The two commanders exchanged a meaningful look - a silent acknowledgment of the trust and camaraderie that had developed between them over the years.

Since two Garrison soldiers would receive titan shifter powers, that left only one syringe to be used since they were able to make only three of them from the last time they took blood from Historia, Erwin had Hange ask if Historia was suffering from any symptoms.

Just like last time, Historia had been sick again, this time for two whole months; despite not taking as much Blood as the last time, she had suffered the same symptoms, and according to Ymir, Historia's symptoms were worse this time. For this reason, Erwin had ordered that no blood would be taken from Historia for now, and they would wait. Erwin was already thinking of other ways to secure Royal Blood from other sources.

Eren again had felt a burst of energy inside him every time either Mike or Captain Levi turned into a Titan, every time, and the distance made no difference; one time, Mike had turned into a Titan when Eren was kilometers away, and still felt it. Eren could even tell which one became a Titan, like a feeling at the back of his head. He had yet to tell anyone about it and still wasn't sure why he could feel them; the only reason he could come up with it was that he held the Founding Titan, but something told him that wasn't the reason.

Now - Eren Yeager

Once they started their activity for the day, Eren learned it wouldn't be an easy one. As the sun began to rise, Keith stood at the mountain's base, his eyes piercing through the morning mist as he addressed his students sternly. He instructed them that in order to truly understand the limits of their strength, they would need to make the climb to the peak of the mountain, relying solely on their feet and bare hands - leaving behind any safety tools or equipment.

The students exchanged nervous glances, their hearts racing with anticipation and fear, as they gazed up at the daunting 35-meter-tall mountain that towered above them.

As they stood at the base of the towering mountain, their eyes scanning the steep and treacherous terrain that lay ahead, a sense of excitement and fear coursed through their veins.

"What would happen if we fell while trying to climb?" one asked, his gaze fixed on their guide, Keith, who stood before them with a sly grin on his face. Keith's response was swift and unapologetic, his lips curling into a devious smirk.

"You die, obviously," he said, his words punctuated by a sharp laugh that echoed across the mountain range.

The group fell silent, the weight of Keith's words settling heavily upon them as they prepared to embark on their perilous journey, and Keith seemed to enjoy the way the cadet's face went pale white with dread. Eren wasn't that much bothered by the challenge. He was actually quite looking forward to it.

Jean's voice echoed throughout the campus as he shouted in disbelief, "Seriously, Keith must be out of his mind!" His statement was met with a chorus of nodding heads from the nearby students who were equally skeptical. The idea of climbing a mountain seemed nothing short of insane to them. The thought of conquering such a daunting task was intimidating, to say the least. The towering peak loomed in the distance, taunting them with its jagged edges and sheer cliffs.

Annie's voice held a tinge of irritation as she stood beside Eren, her arms crossed in a display of impatience. "Looking at it is not going to do anything," she admonished, her tone clipped and firm. She couldn't understand why Jean was wasting time complaining instead of taking action. The climb ahead of them was steep and treacherous, but she knew they could do it if they worked together. "So stop whining like a bitch," Annie continued, her frustration apparent, "and let's start climbing." Mina nodded. She was actually excited to complete this one due to her agility. Climbing anything was a piece of cake for Mina.

"Start," Keith shouted, as everyone started running towards the hill. They weren't obligated to start at the same time. They simply needed to reach the top within four hours. Eren stood still, his eyes fixed on the towering mountain in front of him, as he observed the students around him with a mix of curiosity. Some of them, fueled by a seemingly endless supply of energy, were already halfway up the steep incline, their movements agile and confident. In contrast, others lagged behind, their faces etched with determination and sweat as they struggled to keep up with their more athletic peers.

The wind whistled through his hair as he fixed his gaze on the distant horizon. Connie was counting until someone fell. It didn't take long, and one of them slipped before falling to the ground below. Suddenly, a loud thud echoed through the air. He saw one of his fellow cadets had lost their footing and was tumbling down the rocky slope.

With every step, the wind howled louder, and the ground seemed to shake beneath their feet. Suddenly, one of them lost their footing and tumbled down the rocky slope, their terrified screams echoing through the land below. Soon more fell below, their bodies twisting and turning in the air before crashing against the unforgiving stone below. The sound of their screams pierced the silence, ringing in the ears of all who heard it. As they lay there, broken and battered, their pained cries could be heard for miles around. Keith told his men to send all those that fell to the infirmary.

Annie memoried the safe route before rushing to climb, followed closely by Mina. Those that were foolish enough to climb first did the job of showing where not to climb and where was the safer route for Annie, Mina, Eren, and the others.

"Eren, how about a match to the top?" asked Connie, his voice filled with enthusiasm as he stretched his arms, feeling the adrenaline rush through his veins. Eren couldn't help but feel the excitement building up inside him, his eyes sparkling with determination. He noticed Mina, the skilled and agile cadet, already perched atop the peak, her victory grin shining brightly in the sunlight, with Sasha being the second, Armin being the third, and Annie being the fourth.

"Sure, but If I win, you owe me your food for a week." Eren accepted the challenge before stretching his limbs, arms, and legs. The other students started murmuring amongst each other.

"Okay."

The sun had already risen, casting a bright orange hue upon the mountain's peak as Eren and Connie approached the base of the towering natural wonder. The air was crisp and cool, with a hint of excitement and anticipation as they both took a deep breath in unison, their eyes fixed upon the daunting ascent that lay ahead of them. With each step they took, they could feel their muscles tensing and their hearts racing, but they remained determined, their eyes locked on the summit. The rocky terrain challenged their skills and stamina, but they continued to push forward. As they climbed higher, the scenery around them changed, with the trees below appearing smaller and the clouds above closer.

As Connie and Eren raced up the steep hill, their labored breathing was the only sound that filled the air. Connie's extensive training in the art of climbing had given him an edge over Eren, who was struggling to keep up with him. With each step, Connie's legs propelled him forward easily and gracefully. As they neared the top, Connie's sharp eyes scanned the rocky terrain ahead, quickly identifying the safest and most stable rocks to take his weight. His hands moved with the precision of a surgeon, gripping and releasing each rock with ease.

"Come On, Connie. Show Eren who's boss."

"The Suicidal Bastard stands no chance."

As Connie persevered up the towering rock wall, his muscles strained with exertion, his heart racing with adrenaline, and his spirit filled with determination. The other students, who were watching from below, erupted in a chorus of cheers and applause, their voices echoing off the jagged cliffs. Connie felt a sense of pride swell within him as he glanced down at his fellow cadets, their faces beaming with admiration and respect.

As he continued his ascent, his focus remained fixed on the task at hand, his fingers gripping tightly to the rough surface of the rocks, his feet seeking out the smallest of crevices for purchase. But then, as he reached a particularly difficult section of the climb, he chanced a glance downward and was surprised to see Eren only a meter below him.

In a desperate attempt to speed things up, Connie lunged forward and grabbed hold of a jagged rock, his knuckles turning white with the strain. For a few seconds, he hung there, his entire weight resting on the unstable rock, hoping to propel himself higher. But as he tried to pull himself up, the rock suddenly gave way. The sound of the rock slipping was the only sound heard as it slipped from the hill, along with Connie, who started moving his hands, his hands flailing desperately in search of something to hold onto. Despite his valiant efforts, he was unable to grasp anything but empty air.

"Connie!!" Sasha screamed from above, ready to jump and catch Connie somehow when Eren grabbed Connie's hand.

Eren gritted his teeth in frustration as he held onto Connie.

"Damn it, Connie, I'm very lucky that you're short and skinny," Eren exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of anger and amusement. Despite the perilous situation, Eren couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction from proving Connie wrong. With his impressive strength and agility honed through rigorous training, Eren was able to effortlessly hold onto Connie with just one arm while his friend desperately clung to him in a panic. The wind howled around them, whipping their hair and clothes into a frenzy as they hung suspended high above the ground.

"Don't Drop Me," Connie begged. His grip on Eren's arm tightened as he swung him upwards, the wind rushing past Connie's face. Connie felt his stomach drop as he soared higher and higher. Suddenly, Eren released him, and Connie found himself hurtling through the air, his arms flailing wildly. With lightning-fast reflexes, Connie managed to grab hold of a nearby rock, his fingers digging into the rough surface as he fought to regain his footing. Taking deep breaths in and out, he finally calmed down, his heart almost bursting from his chest.

"Come on, let's continue." Eren prompted as everyone cheered for Eren to save Connie's ass.

When they finally arrived at the top, Sasha turned to Connie and extended her hand. Connie accepted her hand with a grin. As they caught their breath and gazed out at the stunning view before them, Annie and Mikasa followed suit, also offering their hands to Eren.

As Eren turned around, he was filled with a sense of gratitude toward Annie and Mikasa. Just as he was about to thank them, a sudden and unexpected movement from behind caught him off guard - it was Connie who wrapped his arms around Eren in a tight embrace.

"Thanks, man. You saved my life," Connie said, his voice filled with emotion as he spoke. Eren smiled and slapped his friend lightly on the back.

"Don't worry, Connie. We are friends. But remember, you owe me food." Eren said with a broad smile. Connie laughed at that. Annie found herself focusing only on Eren. Her eyes looked at Eren in a new light. She always admired his determination, his strength was unique and quite attractive, but now, she knew she liked him a lot.

After the incident, Keith praised Eren for saving Connie but still punished both of them for starting a race. Mikasa and Armin had helped Eren to complete his punishment fast, which was carrying many boxes from one place to another. During the following months, Armin finally got the courage to ask Mina on a date; the girl accepted right away, much to the surprise of no one but Armin.

Eren didn't know how it had gone exactly, but Armin and Mina had become a couple, and Ymir had shouted in front of everyone during a dinner how she had seen Armin and Mina kissing in secret; this had made both Armin and Mina blush like crazy, while Reiner had congratulated Armin the loudest.

Later

As Eren sat in the warmth of the barracks, he found himself captivated by the serene beauty of the snowflakes cascading down from the heavens outside his closed window. He couldn't quite put his finger on why the sight was so calming, but he was content to simply bask in the peaceful atmosphere it had created. The recent snowfall had been quite heavy, and as a result, the cadets had been given a day of respite from their usual rigorous training schedule. Some of his peers had already ventured outside to engage in playful snowball fights, their laughter and shouts of joy echoing through the otherwise quiet courtyard.

He felt the sudden yet gentle touch of two soft hands covering his eyes from behind. He was taken aback for a moment but soon realized that it was Sasha, his mischievous friend, trying to play a prank on him.

"Guess Who it is?"

He felt a wave of amusement wash over him as he heard her voice coming from behind, asking him to guess who it was. Sasha's cheeky grin was unmistakable even without him turning around.

As Sasha playfully covered Eren's eyes, he couldn't help but chuckle at her antics. "I don't know," he replied, "but I know a certain potato girl who speaks just like you." She giggled and removed her hands from his eyes, turning around to face him. It was then that Eren finally noticed Ymir, who stood beside the potato girl. With her arms crossed and a sly grin on her face, Ymir seemed to be enjoying the exchange between Eren and Sasha.

"Ymir, what are you doing here?" Eren questioned since they were currently in the boy's domain; Eren was understandably concerned about the potential consequences of being discovered by Shadis, as it would undoubtedly result in severe punishment for him.

"We wanted to invite you to a snowball fight," Ymir said, her inviting smile directed towards Eren as she gestured towards the frosty battleground where Krista, Mikasa, and Armin were already engaged in an epic snowball fight. The snow-covered landscape was a sight to behold, with snowflakes shimmering in the air like tiny diamonds and the crisp winter air filling their lungs with every breath. Ymir couldn't resist the urge to run into the fray and join in the fun, but she knew the snowball fight wouldn't be complete without Eren's presence.

"You're the best, Ymir," Eren praised; Ymir's face lit up with a wide grin of triumph and pleasure as if she had just accomplished the most challenging task in the world. Filled with a sense of achievement, she raised her hand to deliver a congratulatory slap on Sasha's shoulder. However, her excitement got the better of her, causing her to hit Sasha's shoulder a bit harder than intended, causing Sasha to stumble slightly.

"I told you, Sasha. Our love cannot be broken." Ymir declared with a smug smirk while putting her arm around Eren's shoulder, bringing him closer to her; Eren rolled his eyes but smiled in amusement at his friend's words.

Sasha's voice quivered with emotion as she spoke, her eyes fixed on Eren with a mixture of hurt and disbelief. "So you love her more than me," she said, her words heavy with the weight of sarcasm. "You wound me, Eren," she continued, her voice growing softer as she wiped away an imaginary tear from her face. Her right hand pressed against her heart as if trying to soothe the ache that had settled there.

Both Ymir and Eren chuckled; Eren pulled away and turned to look at Sasha.

"Well, Ymir is the freckles girl, and you're like the potato girl," Eren stated with a smirk on his face.

Sasha looked at the ground in absolute despair.

"Now, Sasha, you're like a fresh loaf of bread with meat in the morning," Eren said with a grin, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Ymir, who was sitting beside him, raised an eyebrow in confusion at the odd comparison. Sasha suddenly looked up, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity. Without a word, she walked over to Eren and wrapped her arm around his neck, her fingers playing with the strands of his dark hair.

"What are you trying to say, Eren?" she asked with a playful smile, eager to hear his explanation. Eren chuckled, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I mean, you're always fresh and full of energy in the morning, just like a warm loaf of bread and meat. You're the perfect start to any day," he said, his words flowing out smoothly.

Sasha's smile widened, and she leaned in to give him a quick peck on the cheek. "You always know how to make me feel special, Eren," she said, her voice dripping with affection. Ymir rolled her eyes at the lovey-dovey display.

"Thank you, Eren," Sasha said with a slight blush; she reached out to him, her fingers brushing the locks of his hair, much to the annoyance of Eren, who was struggling to break free from her grasp, his face contorted in a mix of irritation and amusement.

Ymir smiled and could see a slight smile on Eren's face despite his mouth saying something else.

"Now, let's see who can throw the most snowballs," Sasha challenged her friends with a mischievous smirk as the trio stepped outside, eager to join the fun and frolic of the winter wonderland. Eren's eyes widened with excitement as he saw a sea of cadets hurling snowballs at each other, their laughter echoing throughout the courtyard and creating a festive atmosphere. The snow-covered ground was a canvas for their creative expressions as they built forts and snowmen and engaged in friendly snowball fights.

"But if one of you throws snowballs at me when I'm not looking, I will make you both scream," Eren promised with a half-joking tone.

"Ohhh, scream. Well, I wouldn't mind it from your Eren," Ymir spoke seductively towards Eren, while Sasha, after hearing Eren's words, wasn't able to stop herself from thinking about Eren's abs; she had seen them during their training, a big part of Sasha wanted to touch every part of his body, especially...

Sasha shook her head, berating herself for thinking something like that; after hearing Eren's demand, she hid a snowball behind her back and grinned innocently at Eren.

"Eren, why would I ever do such a thing," Sasha said with a dramatic flair, her voice echoing through the crisp winter air. Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she watched Eren's reaction, eagerly anticipating his response.

Before Eren could even formulate a reply, a sudden impact hit the back of his dark hair, causing him to spin around in surprise. He was met with the sight of Sasha, her hands balled up into snowballs and a wide grin plastered across her face as she immediately took off running, leaving Eren to shake off the snow and give chase.

"Good luck Ymir," Sasha exclaimed while dashing across the snow-covered field. Startled by Sasha's sudden outburst, Ymir turned around to see Eren gleefully molding the largest snowball she had ever laid eyes on. A mischievous grin spread across Eren's face as he gazed at Ymir, who was still trying to figure out why Sasha had wished her luck.

"Haha, Bye," Ymir nervously bid farewell with a light chuckle as she felt the icy touch of a snowball against her cheek, hurled by none other than Eren. She quickly took off, with Eren hot on her heels, determined to get even with her for the prank she had just pulled.

"Come back here, both of you," Eren demanded and started a chase of cat and mouse.

Eren spotted Sasha wandering through the snow-covered meadow. Without a second thought, he quickly scooped up a handful of snow and shaped it into a perfectly round snowball. Sneaking up behind Sasha, Eren launched the snowball at her back, causing her to yelp in surprise.

As Sasha turned around, Eren dashed off, his heart racing excitedly. Sasha was quick to react, though, and picked up two snowballs in her hands, determined to catch Eren. "Come back here, Eren. I just want to play," Sasha demanded playfully, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she chased after him.

As Eren charged through the snow, a broad grin spread across his face, his heart pumping with excitement and exhilaration. He barely managed to keep his footing as he raced forward, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of his friends.

Suddenly, he spotted Ymir's figure hiding behind a tree, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Without hesitation, he sprinted towards her, determined to catch her off guard.

Just as he reached her hiding spot, he felt a cold, wet object whiz past his face, narrowly missing him. Turning to see where the snowball had come from, he saw Sasha grinning wickedly at him, her arm cocked and ready to fire again.

But before he could react, he felt another icy projectile hit him square in the chest. Looking down, he saw that Ymir had taken advantage of his distraction and had thrown a snowball at him as well.

Laughing, he dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding another attack from Sasha. But Ymir wasn't so lucky - Sasha's next snowball flew true and hit her square in the face.

Ymir glared at both of them, her eyes burning with fierce determination. "You think that's funny?" she growled, her voice low and dangerous. "I'll show you funny!" With that, she began to chase them around like a madwoman, hurling snowballs left and right.

"Come back, both of you, right now!" she demanded, her voice echoing through the snowy landscape.

After one hour of chasing each other around the training corps, they stopped playing, with Eren grinning and raising nine fingers from his hands.

Sasha was panting heavily, trying to catch her breath after running around in the snow for over an hour. "Only nine times, you lose Sasha," Eren taunted, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he watched her struggle to regain her composure. Despite her exhaustion, Sasha couldn't help but let out a small laugh at Eren's playful banter. Eventually, Armin, Mikasa, Historia, and Mina joined them in the fun. Eren enjoyed every moment, knowing as soon as they graduated, nothing would ever be the same.

Months Later

Shadis, a seasoned military instructor, gazed at the fresh-faced cadets before him with a firm yet encouraging expression.

As he surveyed the group of new soldiers, he could feel their eagerness and determination to serve humanity.

With a commanding voice, he bellowed, "Dedicate your hearts!" His words hung in the air for a moment before the cadets responded in unison, their voices ringing out with conviction and patriotism.

They stood at attention, their arms snapping up in a crisp salute.

"Yes, sir!"

The sound of their unified response echoed through the training ground, filling Shadis with pride and hope for the future of humanity.

As Shadis went on with his detailed explanation of how all the trainees who successfully passed the rigorous training corps could select three preferred military branches, Eren's mind wandered off, uninterested in the other options. He couldn't help but fixate on the only branch that truly mattered to him, the Survey Corps.

"Number ten is Krista Lenz." Suddenly, Historia's face lit up like the sun, and a beaming smile spread across her face. She couldn't contain her excitement and almost punched the air in delight. Ymir watched with pride as her friend's name was called out, feeling a sense of joy in her heart; even Eren was proud of her.

"Number nine is Sasha Blouse." The relief that flooded through her was overwhelming, and she let out a deep sigh as the weight of her worry lifted off her shoulders. She knew she would never again have to worry about going hungry.

"Number eight is Connie Springer." The Shorty sighed in relief; he couldn't wait to see his parent's faces; he knew they would be proud of him.

"Number seven is Marco Bott." With a swift movement, Marco wiped away the beads of sweat from his forehead, and with a confident smile, he stepped forward, knowing he could serve the king.

"Number six is Jean Kirstein." Jean couldn't help but glare at Eren, knowing the suicidal bastard had shown better skills than him, but nonetheless, he was looking forward to joining the Military Police.

"Number five is Annie Leonhart." The cold girl named Annie kept her stoic face, refusing to show emotion. But as she glanced briefly at Eren, she couldn't help but feel a small spark of something.

"Number four is Bertolt Hoover." his back was straight, and his eyes were fixed firmly on the horizon; he couldn't help but look up at the sky, wondering how much longer this mission would last.

"Number Three is Eren Yeager." Eren looked forward with unyielding determination, knowing their counterattack would start soon; he remembered the plan to bring out the Colossal and the Armored Titan.

"Number Two is Reiner Braun." He briefly glanced at Krista before looking south, knowing all this would end soon, and he would return home, back to his family.

"Number One is Mikasa Ackerman."
