The Disastrous Life of Saiki

(Saiki finds himself at school with a few free hours and feels bored, wishing he had something to do. As he walks around, he spots a small library in the halls.)

Saiki (thinking): Finally! A quiet place to relax. I can read and enjoy my own company without anyone bothering me!

(He enters the library, and his eyes analyze the whole room. The shelves are filled with books, and the room is cozy and peaceful. Saiki takes a deep breath, feeling a wave of calm wash over him. He quickly picks a comfortable chair in the corner and settles in, ready to enjoy his time alone.)

Saiki (thinking): This is perfect. Just me and the books. No distractions, just silence.

(He starts looking through the shelves, searching for an interesting book. He can hardly believe his luck. Just as he's about to pick a book to read, the library door opens,by Nendou and Kaidou, laughing loudly.)

Nendou: Hey, Saiki! What are you doing here? This place is awesome!

Kaidou (grinning): Yeah! I didn't know we had a secret library in our school!

(Saiki's heart sinks. He had hoped for some quiet time, but now his peaceful moment is ruined. He can already feel the excitement of Nendou and Kaidou filling the room, and it's too much for him.)

Saiki (thinking): Why did they have to come here now? I was just about to enjoy some peace and quiet…

Nendou: Come on, Saiki! Let's find some cool books to read together! There must be something good here!

(Saiki watches as they start pulling books off the shelves, laughing and joking with each other. The noise is too loud, and he can feel his happiness about the library fading away.)

Kaidou: Look at this one! It's about aliens and how they could be living among us!

(Saiki sighs, trying to focus on his book but finding it hard to ignore the talking. He glances around the library, wishing he could just escape into one of the books and forget about everything.)

Saiki (thinking): I just wanted some alone time. Is that too much to ask?

(Nendou suddenly looks over at him, noticing his quiet behavior)

Nendou: What's wrong, pal? You seem a bored . Are you okay?

(Saiki forces a smile, trying to hide his frustration.)

Saiki: I'm fine... just trying to enjoy the library.

Kaidou: Let's read some cool stories together! You never know what we might find!

(Saiki rolls his eyes inside but knows he can't just leave. He weirdly joins them, sitting in the corner with a book in hand. Even though he is with his friends, his heart isn't really in it.)

Saiki (thinking): I didn't want this to happen. I wanted to be alone. But I guess I'll have to make the best of it.

(As they continue to talk and explore the library, Saiki tries to read his book, but the noise is distracting. He can hear Nendou and Kaidou sharing silly theories and jokes, and it's hard not to get pulled into their energy.)

Nendou: Hey, Saiki! Look at this book about superheroes! Wouldn't it be amazing to have superpowers?

Kaidou: Yeah! Imagine flying or having super strength! We could save the world!

(Saiki sighs again, realizing that he'll never get his quiet time now. He tries to concentrate on his book, but it feels impossible with his friends nearby.)

Saiki (thinking): Maybe I should just accept that I'm not going to have my quiet time today. Being with friends can be nice, too… even if it's noisy.

(As the three of them enjoy the library, it becomes a lively place instead of the peaceful quiet time Saiki had hoped for. He takes a deep breath, changing his expectations.)

Saiki (thinking):Good grief, I guess I can still enjoy reading while they're here. It might not be what I wanted, but it's better than being alone in a quiet room. Besides, they're my friends, and I can't just ignore them.
