Chapter 64: Chapter 64. As Domineering as Madara-sama
Chapter 64. As Domineering as Madara-sama
---
"You're getting stronger, Yuto-sama," Kana remarked curiously as she observed him. Her gaze shifted to the charred crater on the ground, her brow furrowing. "Your chakra and reaction speed have definitely improved, but…"
Her voice trailed off as she muttered to herself in confusion.
How did his chakra reserves grow so much? They're almost on par with those of the Uzumaki clan.
"Why?"
"Maybe… because I'm richer now!"
"???"
"Nothing." Yuto smiled faintly, brushing off the comment. The power of his Fireball Jutsu had been a bit unexpected, even to him.
Looking around, he asked, "By the way, where's Nagato? Wasn't he supposed to train with me today? I haven't seen him around lately."
Kana's expression turned slightly peculiar. "Nagato… has been worried about that guy, Sasori, causing trouble. So he hasn't been coming back during this period of time."
She glanced at Yuto, hesitating. She was still curious about what he had taught Nagato that day but decided not to ask. Something about it gave her a sense of unease.
Forget it.
"Is that so?" Yuto nodded thoughtfully. "Well, we really need to keep an eye on that guy."
Even though the Uzumaki clan's sealing techniques could sever a ninja's ability to refine chakra—such as with the Four Symbols or Reverse Four Symbols Seals—Yuto suspected that if you handed Sasori something as simple as a spoon, he could turn it into a disaster-level event called The Redemption of the Land of Rain in the Ninja World!
Therefore, it's important to keep an eye on him.
With a helpless sigh, Yuto said, "Nagato's definitely got talent—combine that with the Uzumaki physique, and he's bound to be extraordinary in the future. But… he cares way too much about appearances. It's not good."
"Ha… ha… ha…" Kana let out an awkward laugh, nodding in agreement before falling silent again. After a moment, she asked hesitantly, "How long do you plan to stay here this time, Yuto-sama?"
"I'll probably stick around for a while." Yuto rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "And by the way, I need to get used to my body again."
Since establishing his businesses in the Land of Rain technically counted as expanding internationally, it had opened up many opportunities.
Hidden projects, like research labs, could now be set up here. While the system's wealth-conversion capabilities could handle research independently, having actual facilities would significantly speed up progress. Plus, it didn't make sense not to have any visible labs—people might get suspicious.
Others don't know, but the system was surprisingly adept at justifying everything, rationalizing his industries and products with plausible explanations.
There was also a Demi-God of the Ninja World…
If the leader of the Land of Rain could be dealt with quietly, he would do it!
There was no other choice—Hanzo was blocking his path to success, the road to wealth.
And then there was Danzo… Yuto hadn't seen him for a long time. He wondered if Danzo would appear in the Land of Rain to cooperate with Hanzo of the Salamander after the Third Ninja World War was over.
Perhaps then he could approach Hanzo first, proposing a cooperation to make a fortune together. But would Hanzo agree to earn 600 million?
Now that he thought about it...
Actually, Danzo is kind of useful! At the very least, he was valuable bait—someone who naturally drew attention.
Thinking this, stretching lazily, Yuto smiled and said, "So, I should stay here for a while."
Especially since he had recently opened over 30 new milk tea shops and barbecue joints across the Land of Fire. His goal was… to quickly occupy the market in most parts of the Land of Fire after the Ninja War.
After all, he was a businessman at heart.
Yuto pondered for a moment.
Later, let Yahiko try writing a letter to Hanzo of the Salamander and see if they can [cooperate].
First trick the guy out, then work together. If that fails, talk to him about the 600 million business.
The words fell.
Kana was slightly stunned, then smiled gently and nodded. "Yeah."
The two walked toward the house ahead.
And at this time…
As Yuto and Kana walked toward a nearby building, two shadowy figures hidden in the distance exchanged bewildered glances.
"What's that guy doing here?"
"He looks strong. That Fireball Jutsu could rival Madara-sama's. Wasn't he supposed to be a disgraced ninja who turned to business?"
"So strange!"
"Should we report this to Madara-sama? After all, the Rinnegan is here."
They remembered… they had seen this guy, Yuto, before, back when Madara-sama was searching for a substitute, and they had investigated all the talented Uchiha. Uchiha Yuto had been among the candidates assessed for his talent.
This Uchiha is quite talented and has strong inner emotions—ideal for unlocking Uchiha potential. They recalled how his belief in the Will of Fire had been off the charts. There were even articles like 'Konoha Youth Speaks', 'Without Konoha, There Would Be No Me', and 'My Konoha, My Hokage', which had enraged Madara-sama to the point he nearly had a heart attack.
In the end, Madara-sama had dismissed him with disdain: Childish! A disgrace to the Uchiha! This kid is just so narrow-minded—he'll never achieve greatness!
And so…
They had chosen Uchiha Obito.
The Uchiha clan's abilities come from emotions. Madara-sama had said that Obito's heart was filled with love. Once that love collapsed, he would awaken his true power.
But now… this was unexpected.
"Pass it back! Pass it back! Let the guy over there decide what to do."
"Understood."
…
Time slipped away quickly.
In the blink of an eye, autumn was almost here.
Inside a dark, damp cave, a low groan echoed.
"Mm."
The sound caused a flurry of activity within the cave.
"Eh? Madara-sama has woken up?" In the dim light of an oil lamp, a strange, white, spiral-faced figure curiously approached the old man with white hair lying on a stone bed, tubes protruding from his back. After a moment, the figure spoke with a tone of sudden realization, "Madara-sama must be awake because he needs to… take a shit, right?"
BANG!
A loud crash rang out.
The spiral-faced figure was embedded into a rock wall.
The other White Zetsus working together hurriedly backed away from him, keeping their distance.
Madara calmly opened his eyes, his expression indifferent. He didn't even glance at the figure embedded in the wall as he asked flatly, "Now, how much time… has passed?"
"The little brat that Madara-sama was paying attention to has already graduated. And the war has started as well."
"So much time has passed?" Madara murmured, pausing briefly before nodding. "As I expected, that boy must still be useless—a failure. But as long as the time comes—"
Before he could finish his thought—
"That's not it!" The spiral-faced Zetsu, who had just pulled himself out of the wall, seemed to have forgotten what had just happened. He eagerly reported, "He's quite strong now. He's unlocked the two-tomoe Sharingan and is very active on the battlefield. Just like you, Madara-sama, his mere presence sends chills down the spines of enemy ninja! Very domineering! He's even created a powerful jutsu!"
"???"
Madara froze, momentarily skeptical. After a brief silence, he muttered, "Has he already experienced sorrow?"
He even created a new jutsu? That was unexpected.
The Uchiha Obito he knew didn't have that kind of talent!
"Not at all!" The spiral-faced Zetsu shook his head.
"Then how did he awaken his Sharingan?"
"Well… maybe… it seems… a broken heart?"
"???"
Madara frowned deeply. "The girl—did she die according to my plan? If so, why hasn't he awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan?"
His love… is only to this extent?
"No, she's still alive!" White Zetsu shook his head again.
Madara fell silent, contemplating. It didn't bother him too much—after all, the boy had only unlocked the two-tomoe Sharingan. There was still plenty of time to plunge him into darkness.
But that business about creating a jutsu…
His brows furrowed, the deep wrinkles on his face showing a hint of curiosity. "What kind of jutsu did that brat create? A D-rank? C-rank?" He snorted disdainfully. "This kind of useless jutsu is simply a waste of time!"
"No, it seems really strong!" The spiral-faced Zetsu scratched his head in confusion and said in distress, "How should I put it? Otherwise…" As if he had thought of something, he said happily, "How about I demonstrate it for you, Madara-sama?"
Before Madara could respond, he watched as the Zetsu brought his hands together, extending his index and middle fingers.
"A Tiger Seal?" Madara noted with a neutral expression. "It seems decent."
But before he could finish speaking—
The Zetsu thrust it forward in a bizarre motion. Madara's face twitched. Then he looked at Zetsu, whose demonstration abruptly ended.
Silence.
After a long, awkward pause, Madara raised an eyebrow and asked dryly, "That's it?"
"That's it!" the spiral-faced Zetsu confirmed enthusiastically. "That's it!"
"…"
What kind of ridiculous jutsu is this?!
Madara's entire body trembled with so much rage that his breaths started becoming short and shallow. White Zetsu, alarmed, hurried over to him in panic. "Madara-sama! Are you okay? Are you too excited?"
"Get out!"
An angry roar, filled with fury and indignation, echoed through the entire cave.
