Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Lewd Maid and Kuoh (5)
Before you proceed with reading this chapter, there are two things I'd like you to know:
1. This novel was constantly getting shadowbanned on WebNovel due to advertising my Patreon, which is ridiculous since there are tons of people doing the same thing and not getting banned.
2. If you want stable updates without interruptions, consider joining my Patreon.

Marcus (POV)
With a burst of light, I found myself in a Victorian mansion. It was my first time traveling through a teleportation circle.
The experience was… seamless. One moment I was in my garage, and the next, I was in a large room.
The only noticeable difference was the time zone. When I left my garage, it was nearly midnight. But when I arrived, it was morning.
"This is the Sitri estate in Kuoh. Follow me, let me show you where they are," Serafall gestured for me to follow as we headed toward a pair of double doors.
Without wasting any time, she opened them and stepped inside, with me trailing behind her.
The first thing I noticed were four women waiting for me.
The one who stood out the most was the redhead. The reason being that she had pure crimson hair.
I've seen gingers before, but not someone with hair as red as hers. This was pure crimson, unlike anything I had ever seen. I was definitely in an 'anime' world, though thankfully, I didn't see any black lines appear on my body…
My guess is that world-governing laws are much weaker here. My technology is proof of that—everything seems a lot easier for me to handle. Either that, or my genius has reached an entirely new level, making things much simpler than before.
But I digress. Besides her striking hair, she looked like a younger, more naive version of Venelana—longer hair, but definitely the same features.
Next to her was the black-haired girl, Rias Gremory's Queen, Akeno Himejima. Akeno was the daughter of Baraqiel, one of the top dogs in Grigori, known as the Lightning of God. Despite her impressive heritage, she refused to use her innate powers because of her father's influence.
I couldn't help but think that she was being foolish, wasting potential that could make her even stronger.
On the other side of Rias stood Serafall's younger sister, Sona Sitri. The resemblance between them was clear—while Serafall could easily pass for a socialite, Sona looked more like a librarian. The sharp glasses only reinforced that image. The only real difference was that Sona had striking purple eyes.
Finally, there was Sona's Queen, Tsubaki Shinra. She shared some of Sona's characteristics—sharp glasses and a similar serious demeanor. Tsubaki hailed from a prestigious exorcist clan, and like Akeno, she had a Sacred Gear. It seemed both of their queens had received special treatment because of how unique they were.
It was almost like a case of "one's trash is another's treasure."
I couldn't help but note the sheer concentration of Sacred Gears in this place. Back home, I'd never encountered a single one, yet here in this small town, it seemed like there were more than a few. It had to be related to the amount of magic in the air—or perhaps it was just the result of being in a city full of main characters.
Well, since I'm here, I might as well uncover all the little secrets, I thought, smiling to myself as I moved toward the group.
They all looked nervous, as if they were standing on thin ice. Serafall's words had clearly cut deep.
The small group of devil women waited anxiously, knowing that the genius inventor Marcus Goldman was about to enter. When they learned his name, they scrambled to find any information they could about him.
But all they found was classified information sealed by Satan Leviathan herself. They even tried to dig into the human world, but found nothing, simply because he lived on the other side of the globe.
In other words, they knew nothing about him—nothing at all—other than the fact that whatever it was, it was under Serafall's watchful eye.
They didn't even know what he looked like.
When the doors opened, they straightened up and did their best to appear professional.
The moment Sona and Rias saw him, they had a hard time believing that he was the same age as they were. He looked far too mature.
Broad shoulders, short black hair, and striking brown eyes, he carried himself with the confidence of someone who knew exactly what he was doing. But the most striking thing about him was…
His magic level is even higher than ours!
Sona thought, a bead of sweat rolling down her forehead. Her Queen was equally stunned as she adjusted her glasses. Neither had ever met anyone their age with this much magic.
Is he even human? Rias wondered, still struggling to process how this man had so much magic.
Meanwhile, Akeno was practically salivating at the sight of him…
"Marcus, here they are," Serafall began, introducing the group in a single breath. "The girl with sharp glasses, similar to me, is Sona. To her right is her Queen, Tsubaki Shinra. To my sister's left is Rias Gremory, and her Queen, Akeno Himejima."
The rapid-fire introduction caught the girls off guard. They had expected a more formal introduction, not a whirlwind of names.
"Well, ladies, you're in charge of Kuoh from now on, right?" Marcus asked with a harmless smile.
"Y-Yes," Sona quickly responded, trying to remain as professional as possible. "Both Rias and I will share the burden. I'll oversee the city during the day, while she handles it at night."
"I see… simple enough," Marcus said thoughtfully, before turning to the matter at hand. "Have you two decided where you want the core of the barrier system to be placed?"
Both devil heiresses hadn't expected him to go straight to the point. Now they understood why Serafall had made such a brief introduction—he wasn't one for small talk. He just wanted to get things done.
"Well… I suppose, since Kuoh Academy is our seat of power here, maybe the school basement?" Sona offered after a moment of thought. She looked to Rias, who nodded in agreement.
"Hmm… very well," Marcus nodded. He then turned to Serafall. "Sera, where's the exact location of the academy in relation to the city?"
Sona and Rias exchanged glances, both curious and a little awestruck at how casually Marcus addressed Serafall by her nickname.
"The Academy is located to the north of the city center," Serafall replied after a moment's thought. "I assume you'll need to adjust the deployment, like you did back in your hometown?"
"That's right," Marcus said, nodding. "I'll need to adjust the distribution of magic from the core. But first, I'll double-check the map. Hmm… this might be a good opportunity to add map tracking as well."
"Right. Then let's go to this academy of yours, ladies." He turned back to the group.
"...Now?" Sona asked, disbelief creeping into her voice. But all she got in return was Serafall's gaze. The younger Sitri swallowed nervously.
"S-Sure… we can teleport there before anyone comes for classes…" Sona stammered, fixing her glasses and wiping the sweat from her forehead.
This was moving way too fast for her!
Marcus simply nodded.
"Very well. Sera, transport us."
"As you wish."
Without further delay, a large Leviathan circle appeared beneath them, and they were instantly teleported to the school grounds.
"Well then, show us the way," Marcus motioned to Sona.
"O-Okay…" she replied, still trying to steady her nerves.
As expected from the posh Pillar houses. The school… I mean the academy was beautiful and very… European, I don't know what they are planning but this was ridiculous. If you are moving in, at least try to adapt to their culture.
At least they have the whole shoes policy in place, I will be able to enjoy some of the cultural things. Though, I don't think I will be coming here often unless of course there is some...loot...I mean some profitable enemies to fight…
Nonetheless, the walk was not silent as Serafall kept telling me things about the Academy. Trying to rope me in and trying to transfer me here. Her little sister quickly picked it up and started chipping in from time to time.
My reaction to all that was an eye roll. Serafall saw that and showed her tongue at me. All she got was another eye roll.
Very cute...especially when it comes from one of the top leaders of a supernatural faction. Who is acting all cute and cuddly with me. It was even better when Rias and the other two saw our little exchange. They were quite shocked…
"This is the basement. We haven't touched anything here." Sona spoke professionally as she showed the large empty area.
"Nice, this will do…" I said while looking around. It was built from strong concrete. The walls were done through a combination of magic and regular means.
"I see… so this is how you guys build. To keep things from disappearing you use magic to create the reaction which… in turn, allows the result to stay. While this is quite energy-consuming it still allows you to keep things after the demonic energy runs out." I said while inspecting the walls.
The younger devils looked at me with slight disbelief while Serafall just smiled.
"Not fair… I'm still trying to figure out your transmutation circle!" The Leviathan said with a pouty look.
"It's not my problem that you prefer to stare at me when I work," I said with another eye roll.
This time she huffed and looked away.
"You figured that out from touching the wall?" Sona asked while trying to keep her glasses from falling off her nose.
"Indeed. Quite easy, the residue is still there. While very faint, I can still feel demonic energy in the creation of this." I explained while pointing my finger at the wall as I looked around for more.
"B-But…"
