The crows:Death falls on all eventually

Chapter 35: Chapter 35

As they stepped inside the dorm, they were enveloped in a warm, cozy atmosphere that seemed to mirror the serene beauty of the surrounding countryside. The interior was characterized by a sense of simplicity, functionality, and rustic charm quite similar to a first modern interior structure if the early ages in the past.

The dorm's interior was divided into fifteen well-ventilated rooms, each with its own unique character and charm. The rooms were arranged along a central corridor where a huge grandfather's clock same height as that of the entrance door, lined with sturdy wooden doors that creaked softly as they swung open.

Each room was a tranquil retreat, filled with natural light that poured in through the large windows. The windows were framed in sturdy wooden casements, adorned with delicate patterns of leaves and vines, matching the exterior gutters.

The rooms were simply furnished with comfortable beds, rustic wooden desks, and cozy armchairs. The walls were adorned with vintage posters and a small tablet case which hung by the wall side of the bed, adding a touch of warmth and personality to each space.

The floors creaked softly underfoot, polished to a warm sheen by generations of footsteps. The air was filled with the scent of old wood, fresh air, and the faint hint of wildflowers from the surrounding countryside.

At the far end of the corridor, a spacious common room beckoned, filled with plush armchairs, a roaring fireplace, and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape through the large windows.

Throughout the dorm, the emphasis was on comfort, simplicity, and community. Every detail, from the rustic wooden furnishings to the vintage artwork, seemed designed to create a sense of warmth, belonging, and connection to the natural world.

And above the lower floor of the rooms existed a very large floor which has one room with the size of three rooms combined and four bath rooms at each side respectively with the tally male and female hung above each respectively.

" Make sure not to break anything near that giant clock" Julius left after leaving the warning.

They all stood there looking lost and fascinated except for Vincent who was still busy arranging the tools at the edge near the switch.

"So who's going to check in to a room first " holy asked in low voice

" I will " the quiet rein replied surprising everyone. She had been quiet since landing and now's the first time she has actively volunteered to do something. She gently walked towards the dust room at the left and with a push, a soft Creaking sound came from the door and like a shining bright light she in a comical way covered her eyes trying to shield sight from the brightness of the marvel of the room.

"Why's she reacting like that " in tiny voice skara trembled.

"..." Ryan stood speechless

" Yunlin, come take a look" Rein took the initiative to invite yunlin to come check out what she couldn't believe was right in front of her.

Yun lin in curiosity eagerly walked towards Rein with her having same reaction as rein.

" Something's not right " Holly not able to withstand the behavior of both girls also came closer to check what could have made both usually composed ladies loose their elegance.

" Damn" she screamed not believing her own eyes.

In the room was a cozy, rustic retreat, crafted from sturdy wooden planks that exuded a warm, honey-brown glow. The space was simple, yet functional, with a focus on comfort and practicality.

Against one wall, to the left,a wooden table stood, its surface scratched and worn from years of use. A single drawer, adorned with a rustic metal handle, was nestled beneath the table's surface, providing a snug storage space for personal belongings.

A sturdy wooden chair, its seat and backrest worn smooth, stood beside the table, inviting occupants to sit and study, write, or simply relax.

Above the table, a lone light bulb hung from the ceiling, its soft, warm glow casting a comforting light over the room. Nearby, a table lamp stood, its delicate metal shade directing a pool of warm light downward.

In one corner of the room, behind the bed to the right,a small, wooden wardrobe stood, its doors adorned with intricate carvings of leaves and vines. The wardrobe provided a compact storage space for clothing and personal items.

By the right side, the way directly in contact with the bed slightly few meters stood a wall mount for the tablet which was hung there.

Just in front of where the table stood is the window also made out of oak wood and a fine cotton was elegantly placed above it

Finally, a single electric socket, nestled in the wall near the table, offered a convenient spot to plug in a laptop, phone, or other devices.

The room's wooden walls seemed to whisper stories of past occupants, their laughter, tears, and dreams infusing the space with a sense of history and community. Despite its simplicity, the room felt cozy, inviting, and warm, a haven for rest, study, and contemplation.

" Don't tell me every room has this fantastic setting" holly wonder still intoxicated by the features of the room. She, not wasting anymore time walked towards the next room in greater strides and just as expected it was have the exact same features as the room she had just left.

"Even the keys and locks are the same" yunlin muttered.

Well it's to be expected since a dorm like this is required to have it's occupants trust in one another.

Not wasting anymore time, the ladies, all dashed into their preferred room positions.

Unlike the female rooms, the locks and key patterns of the male rooms were entirely different along with the color of the room doors. Whilst the female one's were brown yellow, the makes own was just yellowish green. A light color for both genders to show a warm atmosphere.

From the entrance the the left was Rein's room as the first followed by holly, then yunlin, then Claire and lastly Sonia who stranger just felt frustrated due to room being the last even though it was fifth position with two rooms unoccupied after it.

To the right was Vincent's room as first , followed by Ryan, then Oscar then skara who stayed at the fourth room leaving three rooms unoccupied by the left.

A large space which could form another room was made before one would reach the bathroom which was located up stairs just north of a simple room of unknown purpose
