Chapter 54: Family Time (1)

Six sighed, currently, he was having a day off at the request of the marsupial, Nezu. He was out and about the city disguised to hide from the paparazzi that still clung to him from the School Festival. It didn't help that his song was still trending worldwide. That, and he was still on the public enemy number one by a good portion of Japan.

So while he was out and about, he observed the people as they went about on their way. A few heroes were walking about as well. Six watched as the people interacted with each other, from civilians asking for hero autographs to simple chats between them.

After a few minutes, Six moved from where he was leaning up against a wall into a nearby mall. As he browsed the stores and their merchandise, Six's instincts warned him that he was being followed. Taking a few turns here and there to lose the tail proved fruitless.

Six then quickly devised a plan to lure them out. Walking into a bathroom, Six quickly activated a [Stealth-boy] and walked back out. He walked a distance away before he hid again and turned off the [Stealth-boy]. A minute later, He saw that Izuku and Katsuki, both poorly disguised, walk into the bathroom. Six sighed and walked back to the bathroom and confronted them.

.

"What are you two doing?" Six asked with a heavy sigh.

"Nezu gave the school a day off and told us to have family time..." Izuku spoke without a stutter which threw Six off for a second.

"And why are you following me?" Six asked, keeping his guard up.

"We wanted to spend the day with you..." Izuku muttered like he just had his hand caught in the cookie jar.

"And you Katsuki?" Six asked once again.

"Same," Katsuki scoffed and grumbled.

"Hmm," Six looked them over briefly then decided, "Okay, come on."

""HUH?"" They both said at the same time.

"You heard me, come on," Six called them again as he walked off. "I want to try this 'WacDonald's' I hear Snipe say has good burgers."

.

The two of them looked at each other and nodded before following after Six. It took a little bit before the three walked side-by-side towards their destination. Izuku made some small talk with Six and Katsuki just grunted with agreement or disdain now and then. A few people looked at their group with curiosity but quickly ignored them after a second or two. Six ended up stopping at an information kiosk and asking for directions, acting like an out-of-town tourist which threw the Izuku and Katsuki off a bit. But they quickly adapted and went along with it.

Soon they found the WacDonald's after much walking. As they entered, Six asked them what they wanted, since he was paying. Izuku ordered a Supreme Chicken Sandwich and Katsuki ordered one that was extra spicey. Six went with a Wackor with extra cheese and fries for all three of them. Their order came a few minutes later and Six double-checked the order before paying the cashier. After they got their food, they went to find a place to sit down. They found a booth next to a window and began to work on their meals.

As they ate, Six asked how their classes were going. Izuku, much to his embarrassment, stated that he was in the top five of his class. For Katsuki, he grumbled that he was in the top six. Six nodded and told them that he was much the same when it came to learning when he was in the wasteland.

After that, they started to open up to each other. Katsuki and Izuku joked and talked about the things they did when they were younger. Six shared a few tales from the wasteland that were less violent and more wild. They continued to talk and have a good time, their meals forgotten about for a bit. Soon though, they finished their meals and left the store.

The meal, the talk, and the short time together had all made their mark on the three of them.

...

..

.

"Well, this is different," Mitsuki said as she looked around Six's room.

"Yeah, he usually has more of a unique taste when it comes to decoration," Inko stated as she examined a few bits and pieces that were scattered on his desk.

"Yeah, I was expecting to see some odd things since he spent most of his life in the 'Wasteland', as he called it," Mitsuki told Inko as she sat on Six's bed. "If anything, it feels barren compared to when he was in college with us."

"Mitsuki, you also have to realize that he's lived far more than the two of us combined if we believe his words," Inko stated as she looked over his kitchenette. "Still though, he has the same taste in food as before. There's beer and beef in the fridge," She said, unaware that it wasn't beef in the fridge.

"You have to be somewhat skeptical about this 'Wasteland', right?" Mitsuki asked as she felt something under Six's pillow.

"I like to believe that he wouldn't lie like that," Inko answered then saw that Mitsuki found something. "What did you find?"

"I don't know, some kind of toy gun?" Mitsuki said as she pulled out a [Plasma Pistol] from under Six's pillow. "At least he still has the same gunslinger fantasy as he did in college."

.

Just as she said this, Mitsuki pointed it at the wall and pulled the trigger. A bright green blob of plasma shot out and impacted the wall with great force. Leaving both Mitsuki and Inko stunned at the sight as it burned a hole in the wall after a second before stopping.

.

"Holy shit!/ Oh my Goodness!" Both Inko and Mitsuki shouted as they saw what happened.

"What is that thing?!" Inko screamed as she backed away from Mitsuki who was still holding the [Plasma Pistol].

"I... think... he... may... have... been telling the truth..." Mitsuki spoke in a small voice as she set the gun on Six's desk. Both looked at it with fear.

"I wasn't lying," They then heard from the doorway.

.

There Six stood in casual clothes that seemed to be a combination of how Katsuki and Izuku dressed. Behind him were their sons with surprised expressions as they saw the still-hot hole in the wall. Six sighed and walked over to where the [Plasma Pistol] was and stored it away.

.

"I don't mind if you four want to visit or hang out, but please don't touch things that you know nothing about," Six lightly chided the two mothers as he looked at the hole. "That's gonna come out of my paycheck." He muttered.

"How did you know that we were here?" Inko asked shyly as Mitsuki started to whistle and act like she didn't do that.

"When I started to head back here, these two started to try and fail at getting me to go somewhere else," Six answered and looked at Mitsuki, "I saw you shot it by the way, Mitsuki."

"Crap," Mitsuki muttered.

"Anyway," Izuku spoke up, trying to get their attention away from the hole, "Since we're all here, why don't we go do something as a family?"

"I think we should," Inko jumped onto the idea.

"Tsk, whatever," Katsuki said, but he wanted it as well.

"Great Idea, Izuku!" Mitsuki agreed as well.

"No thanks," Six said, immediately shutting the idea down. "First, it's far too late in the night, it's 7 o'clock. Second, these two have classes tomorrow and they're gonna need their rest. And three, this weekend would be better as then we have two days to hang out." Six spoke, catching them off guard and then making them agree with his plan.

"That's more than fine," Inko agreed and Mitsuki nodded.

"That's even better than what I was going to say!" Izuku chimed in.

"Whatever," Katsuki said as he walked off, though in his steps one could tell that he was excited for this weekend.

.

With that done, they dispersed. Izuku rushed to his room to get what he needed to get done for this weekend. Katsuki was already getting ready for bed. Six escorted Inko and Mitsuki home for the night. All five of them were in various states of excitement for this weekend.
