Chapter 20: Boot Camp (1)

{Day 1}

"This is gonna be tiring," I muttered but Aizawa heard me.

"Deal with it, you were chosen by Nezu as a chaperon during the Boot camp," Aizawa stated as he shifted his weight and leaned against the bus. "Plus, you had to accept the Yaoyorozu's deal. It's no one's fault but yours."

"Yea, I know. I'm just confused about why we must keep this under wraps," I said as we waited for the students.

"It's because we don't know who is a spy or feeding the villains information," Aizawa told me as we spotted Class 1-A and 1-B walking towards us.

"What if it's one of the students?" I asked.

"Then we'll deal with it if it comes to that," Aizawa stated as he got off the bus.

.

I understood that this was the end of the conversation, and ended it. But the thought that one of the students was a spy stuck with me. I read their files and I understood that they had a background search done as well. But, just to be safe, I would double-check them myself. Maybe even do a few home visits.

But, as the students came to a stop in front of us, I put those thoughts to the side. After Aizawa did a quick head count, he spoke up getting the students in their assigned classes.

I just sighed as I watched as the students were separated with each class going onto their assigned bus. My eye was on Momo as she was stopped by Aizawa when she tried to bring a rabbit onto the bus in a cage. After Momo gave her reason, Aizawa looked at me and I nodded my head. He sighed and let her go as we boarded the class 1-A bus last.

.

Aizawa sighed and grunted in annoyance when he tried to get the students' attention about the schedule. I smirked at his annoyance and passed him a flask. He grunted and popped the cap before taking a sniff. He looked at me with a glare and took a swig before stoppering it and passing it back to me.

.

"Let them have this moment, after all, it's not gonna last too long," I said to him as the kids were being rowdy.

"True," He sighed, "Once they get to the summer camp, they'll be in for hell."

.

About an hour later, the bus stopped. The students filed outside the bus, not noticing that they weren't at a rest stop that they were expecting. Momo and Midoriya were the first ones to notice that something was up. I smiled underneath my helmet as the others soon realized that something was up.

.

"Hey, Eraser!" A joyous voice spoke out, grabbing everyone's attention. "Been a while!"

.

I tuned out the little dance and settled on eyeing the three newcomers, The Wild, Wild Pussycats. One was a little kid about 5 maybe 6 years old with a red hat with two horns. The second one was known as Mandalay, a young woman with brown eyes and red hair styled into three bangs going across her face, wearing a red version of the pussycats' uniform. And the last one was Pixie-Bob, a woman with blue eyes, and long blonde hair that's mostly combed back save for her bangs. She wore a blue version of the pussycats' uniform.

After their little song and dance, Midoriya spouted off with some info about their group. That was until Pixie-Bob grabbed him by the face to shut him up about their age. I just sighed at their behavior.

.

"Anyways," Mandalay spoke up, "This place is more or less our domain. And the place you'll be staying at is at the base of that mountain." She said, pointing to a nearby mountain in the distance.

"So far away!" The class shouted when they saw where she was pointing.

"Wait, don't tell me..." Ochaco said before the rest of the class understood what was going to happen.

"It's about 9:30 am right now," Mandalay spoke, "If you kick it into high gear, it will be about 12."

"Crap! Run for it!" Kirishima shouted as they all began to sprint to the bus

"The kittens that don't make it before 12:30 won't be eating!" Mandalay shouted.

.

As she finished speaking, Pixie-bob used her quirk, Earth-Flow, to throw them all off the side of the road and down into the valley below.

.

"I'm sorry, everyone," Aizawa shouted to the students as they were washed down the side of the mountain. "But your training camp has already started."

"They'll be fine," I said as I made my way back to the bus. "As long as they fight with their heads that is." Aizawa gave a few words to the Pussycats before following behind me.

.

Aizawa just grunted as he boarded the bus behind me. I heard Mandalay shout to the students that they were free to use their quirks as the bus doors closed. Looking around the bus, I sighed at how messy the students were. Paper wrappers, bottles, and personal articles were scattered about. Looking at the back, I noticed that Momo's rabbit was still on the bus.

.

"I have to ask, why did you have Yaoyorozu take care of a rabbit personally?" Aizawa asked as he picked up the personal articles as I got to grabbing the trash and putting it into the trash can.

"It's part of the reason why her parents want her to learn how to take a life," I told him as all the trash got collected.

"Which is?"

"I'm going to train her to kill her emotions," I said.

"WHAT?!"

"I'm not going to turn her into a cold-blooded killer if that's what your thinking," I told him as the bus began to move. "I'm training her to be able to do what needs to be done when there is no other option. Plus, I'm doing it in a controlled fashion."

"But, what about her?" Aizawa asked. "What if she doesn't what to?"

"Her family gave her an ultimatum," I explained, "Either learn for her to do this or quit being a hero."

"But what if it breaks her?" He asked.

"Then I'll take responsibility," I told him.

.

We dropped the conversation after that. Aizawa sat on one side of the bus while I sat on the other side. Each of us keeping our thoughts in our heads.

An hour later, we arrived at the base of the mountain where the Pussycats' base was located. Aizawa and I got to work dealing with Class 1-A's luggage. He took care of those that belonged to the males while I got stuck with the females. While the boys packed lightly, the girls brought several big bags. Not long after we got the bags situated, Class 1-B's bus pulled up.

Vlad King, Sekijiro Kan, walked off the bus with a massive figure of a man wearing the pussycats' uniform. I couldn't help but do a double take as the man was a good head taller than me. He caught me staring and just glared at me, daring me to say something.

I just sighed and got to handling the students of Class 1-B's luggage and placing it into their dorms. I figured that he was one of the people who hate the way I handle villains. But I didn't care.

.

"So this is UA," A hooded figure watched on in intrigue. "This place is more like a fortress than a school." The figure looked on as they studied the school on top of a roof of a nearby building. "Still, this is the place that Six is working."

.

The figure delved deep into their thoughts as they watched the school. Even though the windows reflected almost everything, the figure was still able to see students going about their lives inside the school. As they watched on, they noticed that they weren't the only ones scouting out the school.

.

"Looks like the so-called villains aren't as stupid as I thought," The figure muttered. They watched as shadowy figures crawled through the back alleys after they were done scouting the school. "Might as well get some more information."

.

I sighed as I looked at the struggling forms of Class 1-A as they drug themselves out of the forest and into the clearing. It was close to eight at night when they arrived at the base. Most, if not all, were dragging themselves with the last of their energy. From the looks of it, they fought their way here without a minute of rest.

I nodded, knowing that this would be a good lesson in pacing. If there was ever one.

.

"Congrats, you made it," I shouted as they all tensed up as soon as they noticed me. "I hoped you learned a valuable lesson during your first trial."

"Finally, you're all here!" Pixie-bob spoke up. "Looks like there wasn't much point in depriving you of lunch." She said coyly.

"A little over two hours, my ass," Sero huffed and fell to his ass.

"I'm... gonna... starve..." Kirishima said before falling to his knees.

"My bad. I meant by our standards," Mandalay spoke up as the rest fell down.

"Well, you all did good anyway," I shouted at them as Pixie-bob was salivating over Midoriya, Shoto, Kaksuki, and Tenya. "For now, rest. You've earned it!" After they all relaxed for a minute, "That's enough resting! Stand!"

.

They all shot to their feet as they all knew that I didn't joke around. As they all stood at attention, I got weird looks for the Pussycats and the kid. While they waited for their next trail, I glared down at them.

.

"Go hit the showers and get something to eat from the cafeteria," I said simply, causing most to deadpan at me or just straight up call me a demon. "You'll need it, as tomorrow the real training will begin."

.

.

"This is so good!"

"I feel like I died and gone to heaven!"

.

I sighed as they, the students of Class 1-A, were shouting and saying different things about the food or other things. I couldn't be mad at them, they had just gone through a small version of hell before their first day of training. So they deserved some downtime, even if they didn't know what was in store for them tomorrow.

As I was thinking about how to torment them tomorrow, Tiger, the only male of the Pussycats, sat down in front of me. The look in his eyes said it all and more.

.

"You don't like me, got it," I said as I ate my dinner.

"More than that, I despise how you handle your hero work." He gruffed out.

"Understood," I said, not really caring about his opinion.

"If I had it my way, you'd be the one put into the ground."

"Good to know," I continued to eat.

"You're an ass," He said after a few moments of glaring at me.

"I've been told that countless times," I spoke as I stood up and went to go put my plate into the cafeteria's sink.

.

Tiger just sat there, staring at me. Unaware that the students and the rest of the Pussycats, Koda included, were watching our confrontation.

.

"I've never realized how much people hate Six-sensei."

"I wonder how he deals with it all?"

"Man, Six-sensei is one tuff cookie."

"I just realized something, he's been handling our training for this camping trip..."

"Crap, you're right!"

"I'm afraid of tomorrow."

"You and me both."

"I'm not!"

"I wonder what's planned for us?"

"How are you not scared?!"

.

I ignored the students as I had an idea of what was going through their heads. I just sighed as it was getting late and I just wanted to either sleep or drink. But, seeing as how I was stuck dealing with kids and Nezu basically said no drinking, I had to go and just sleep.

As I walked away, little did I know that the League of Villains were making their move soon.
